Lightweight over the head USB headset with mic and volume up and down buttons and mute button.
The mute button illuminates red when active which is very helpful, so you can easily tell if you are on privacy or mute. When in use the device has a green light illuminated button. Microphone boom can be swivelled out of the way when required. Can be used on either left or right ear. In summary, comfortable to wear, simple to use and good value.
das Kabel verdreht sich leider stndig und das strt mich etwas.
A very basic headset but gets the work done clear audio and mic audio is good no complaints from people on the other end of the call. Mute button and call end buttons are clear and work fine. Only complaint is the material touching your ears is a bit scratchy.
After all day meetings my ears can get a little tired but luckily all day are rare and I am sure that all headphones would probably do the same except the more expensive comfort orientated headphones.
They are not noise cancelling but they do a pretty good attempt at it and the microphone doesnt seem to pick up my kids if they interrupt me.
Item arrived on time and works fine, although it was not quite as pictured: The headset I recieved is simply USB-A with a non-removable inline volume control built into the cable. There is no 3.5mm-to-USB adapter.
The USB connector is a little unstable – whenever it’s fitted in the socket, the audio feed can cut out if you tug on it; and the cable is fairly short (approx 1m) which means that it’s a little tricky NOT to tug on it during use if the USB port is at an angle, and I’d be wary of the connection getting more flaky over time via regular wear + tear on the cable. I will likely end up getting a braided 1m USB-A extension cable to go with it in order to allieviate the slightly flaky connection – these are currently roughly 5-10 on Amazon.
The audio quality is much better than my previous headset, and the headset is comfortable to wear during long calls (3-4 hours+) but I would advise anyone thinking of purchasing this to double-check that they are fine with a short USB-only cable.
Sound quality is great and it’s comfortable, thought it was a little on the pricy side however. The product quality is acceptable, does feel a little cheap. Only downside is it is USB only which surprises me as a lot of the cheaper versions provide an adapter to move this between USB on the computer and aux on a mobile phone – this function is vital when working from home!
Had a previous version for several years so bought its replacement. Works like the old one – so good.
Downsides – the cable is bright red. So a bit gaudy as the rest of it is black. The length of the cable is also shorter than my pervious version so do find myself standing up and yanking it off my head. I guess I will get used to that but irritating until I learn !
Can’t wear it for too long as they hurts the ears. Need to be more like cans than flat head phones. There like headphones from the Walkman decade.
I wanted t replace my 7 year old plantronics and went for these. Good choice. They sit nicely and are comfortable for wearing all day. I can quick release the 3.5mm jack and plug into my mobile which saves me having to change headphones.
There are many similar products on the market, but this offers all the features and is good value for money. Sound quality is excellent and they are comfortable to wear. Mine were supplied by work, but I bought a set for my sister as a gift as I was very happy with mine!
Although the scant instructions supplied tell you to download software for this headset, none of them work for Android. (As an aside, how does Amazon expect the “sheerness” of a headset to be reviewed?)
Easy to use, good sound, comfortable for all day zoom meetings – just look like a call-centre worker is all.
Would buy again.
Light and high quality audio. A noticeable difference to streaming audio sent and received.
I bought a pair of these for working from home. Since bought a second set for the office and two sets for colleagues. Excellent value, comfortable, great sound quality. Highly recommended.
Turns out this headset is pretty much the one I had before. It’s still as reliable and easy to wear with good sound quality that I remember. The option to switch between USB connection and 3.5 mm jack connection handily also means I can use the headset with my mobile phone if I want to.
Sturdy and reliable for home working, with a crisp mic and decent audio output. However, I’m docking off 1 star as the price is fairly high considering the material is bog-standard matte plastic. If it were priced at ~30, then I’d be giving it a full 5.
Bought to enable more effective working from home – it’s much better than the bluetooth headphones I was using before.
I got both analog and digital inputs and outputs off the bat (no driver required) on Ubuntu Linux. On top of that, headphones’ audio quality is very close to some very high end Sennheiser monitor headphones. All in all, I’m very happy with the purchase I made and I’d recommend this to anyone looking for something with a decent price and specs way above average.
