These pans are very good. Indeed, I would have purchased another set, had the deal not ended. Very good non stick, sturdy and easily cleaned. Definitely recommend.
Finally found a set of pans to replace a 25 year old set which had seen better days. They are easy to use and to clean. Also they have all the features I need, are light weight, easy drain and look good -all you need. In a set of pans!
Love these saucepans. Look good, and sturdy. The handles are easy to grip, and they don’t burn.
These pans should not be put in dishwasher but that doesn’t matter, as they are easy to handwash clean. Nothing sticks and the ready to cook feature is a nice addition.
I liked the robust construction and the price that I paid.
liked the look of them , sturdy and easy to clean non stick
The pan set is fantastic.
Have used them previously on an Induction Hob at my girlfriends home and they perform really well. No issues at all.
Purchased a set for my home and using them on a Ceramic Hob.
Really pleased with the product.
Fantastic pots and easy to clean. Food doesn’t stick to bottom or sides. Love them.
I really like these saucepans. They feel very sturdy and substantial. The hot indicator on the handle is a neat addition. They heat quickly and do not stick. Easy to clean.
The small and medium pan do not allow the induction hob to start heating up
These pots are very good nice and sturdy without being too heavy, I love that they turn green to let you know when to add food.
It’s a lovely set of non-stick pans.
But it’s quite small even for the largest pan.
Having used Circulon pans for many years I decided I needed a change. These pans appealed to me because of the “ready” light, although in practice I don’t pay much attention to it. They are easy to use and a dream to clean – scrambled egg just wiped off. Hopefully they will give me years of service.
Good design quality and weight.
Ergonomical for hands suffering from peripheral neuropathy.
The indicator light is a good safety feature.
I’ve been using these since before Christmas so that I can hopefully give a reasonable review and highlight any shortcomings.
Overall I’ve been very happy with their performance on an induction hob, with an occasional visit into the oven (max 180C). They heat up reasonably quickly, but I have found no use for the green temperature indicator built into the handle. I noticed a comment elsewhere about the pans having concave bases … they do indeed (about 1.5 mm); I had a read about this and it’s there to allow the pans to expand as they heat, presumably if they started off completely flat, the base would be convex at temperature, leading to a wobbly pan that doesn’t heat properly at all on an induction hob? My other makes of pan are the same!
The lids! Well the lids fit nicely and have a vent hole to stop them hoping around and they work well. I do wish that manufacturers would use a handle instead of a knob, so that one can hook the lid over the handle when storing the pans on hooks (which is what I do); the knob solution means I have to keep the lids separately, wasting storage space elsewhere.
Cleaning is easy and I do try to avoid the dishwasher when convenient (my last lot of quite expensive pans look like they’ve been shot-blasted around the rims, leading to disappeared aluminium and horrid strands of non-stick material becoming detached.
Speaking of the non-stick surface; it works really well (so far), but I wondered about the ‘PFAO free’ claim. Firstly I had to find out what PFAO is? It is short for perfluorooctanoic acid, and is a man-made chemical that some manufacturers use to make products resist heat, water, grease, and sticking.
It’s not very received at the moment, with a growing reputation for damage to health and the environment, hence the desire for manufacturers to disassociate themselves for its use. Unfortunately it seems there’s a difference between the claim of ‘PFOA-free’ and ‘made without PFOA’, the later is the best, whereas the former suggests PFOA could still be present in the cookware.
Either way, its good to know some manufacturers are making an effort.
Overall, I’d buy other products from this range, just a shame about the lids.
Great non-stick pan set that cooks evenly. Easy to clean and cook with. Strong and sturdy with comfortable handles. Good capacity too.
Earlier this year I bought a 3 pack of Prestige stainless steel pots. My other half burnt rice to the point that I’d need an angle grinder to get it off. Luckily these came along and are non-stick 🙂 Time will tell how durable the non-stick surface is but they have a 5 year guarantee. You tend to find that the Teflon surface eventually starts to come off if the pot is scratched. However, so far so good. Cooked rice and a bolongese in these (separately!) and it was super easy to clean off in the sink and they also come out sparkly from the dishwasher.
They have a unique ‘indicator’ on the handle which goes a green colour when the pot is at a temperature to use. Not reading the instructions, I presume this is some optimal non-stick temperature or maybe just an indication of good heat ditribution?
These pans offer exceptional quality for a very reasonable price tag. The pots are sturdy, designed to last, the non-stick coating is excellent, and the pans fit perfectly. They are light to handle, and the addition of a light to indicate when the pan is hot enough is a great addition. All-in-all, these pans are high quality and well worth the price tag.
A set of three pans with a good quality feel – a perfect little set for someone that’s just starting out in their own place. The largest pan is about eight inches in diameter and a fraction over four inches deep. A good-sized pan for potatoes and pasta. The middle sized pan is just over seven inches in diameter and more like three and three quarter inches deep. A nice pan for sauces and gravy. The smallest pan is just over six inches in diameter and three and a quarter inches deep. I’ve mainly been using this one for boiling eggs. The handles have a slightly unusual shape to them which takes a little getting used to, but they do stay nice and cool whilst in use. There’s a little heat indicator at the top of the handle which turns green when the pan is hot. It’s a nice touch, but I haven’t found it particularly useful in practice. I’m no Ottolenghi, but there are enough signs to tell you that the pan is hot (length of time on the stove, the contents bubbling etc) without an additional heat indicator. The lids are glass with a a good sized plastic handle, and there’s a little blow hole for steam to escape through. There’s no frying pan included in the three piece set, so It’s worth keeping an eye on the price of the five piece set which includes two frying pans and is (currently) only slightly more expensive.
I”m delighted with these sturdy, deep and highly stable pans. Though I’m not convinced that I will need the ‘goes green band in the handle when pan reaches the right temperature’ in a saucepan – eminently useful in a shallow frying pan, there are probably occasions/dishes when having this is a saucepan might be a plus.
And though I would prefer a shallower, wider pan for something like a casserole which might start being prepped on the stove top and then put into the oven, rather than a deeper taller saucepan with a longer handle on one side, this might also be useful for some
I really like the speed and evenness of heat spread in these, across the pan. It seemed much easier to achieve and control, on an electric oven, where you don’t have instant ability to turn down heat, moving from boil to slow simmer for example, I assume because of even heat distribution.
These are satisfyingly shaped and weighted, so that they don’t tip over towards the handle when they only have, for example, a little oil and spices in, at the start of a dish preparation.
Though they can be washed in a dishwasher, the non stick surface (unless a major ‘forgot the pan and it boiled dry accident happens!) means cleaning by hand is also easy – but of course, metal or nylon scourers need avoiding. For anything stuck, a soak in hot water with detergent and a sponge should suffice. Obviously metal cooking implements need avoiding also.
The 16, 18 and 20 cm pans are a fairly standard size for a set of three pans. The lids as well as the pans are also suitable for use in the oven max 180C
Used on the stove top the handle remains cool enough to handle without gloves, as does the knob on the saucepan lid
They have a 5 year guarantee (which obviously won’t cover improper use with brillo pads!)
