I ordered this to replace the grip on a tennis racket which had disintegrated. I had to trim the ends to taper them (not a problem) before winding the tape around the racket. It’s not something I’ve ever done before but it’s not hard when you know what the end result is supposed to look like
I did find that the tape didn’t seem very thick but for what we needed it does the job.

These over-grips work really well. Good adhesion even after weeks of use. Love the different colours of the grips.

This tape works fine, is easy to fit and feels comfortable.
    Nice selection of colours.
    Reasonably priced.
    Would recommend.

I have recently taken up a racket sport and the dreaded tennis elbow has been troubling me. This has helped. It is quite easy to use and wrap around the handle. I haven’t used any competing products but this has been good so far.

I actually used the tape to improve the handle on my throwing axes and it works really well. There is good grip and they stay put really well.

    So comfy to grip

You can never have too many of these. They’re ideal for tennis and badminton racquets. They adhere well and provide good grip when playing

This is a multi pack of racket grips suitable for different racket types used in different sports. The grips feel slightly thinner than grips I’ve used before, but I found them easy to fit and it was comfortable to hold. Time will tell how durable these are but so far I’m happy to recommend for badminton rackets at least. The multipack offers good value for money.

I have re-styled all our tennis racket handles and used black tape for the top and bottom. They look lovely now

2 of us in our house play league badminton, I normally always buy Karakal replacement grips, saw these needed reviewing and liked the selection of colours so got them.
+ Easy as any other big brand to put on
    + Great selection of colours
+ Good grip, these are thinner than the normal ones I get so I just overlayed this grip over my current old grip as i prefer my badminton handle to be thicker in the hand personally
+ These have the standard protective film over the top surface of the grip and a small tacky section on the reverse side to hold it in place when you start off
some grips have adhesive all the way along the reverse but you don’t need it to and it’s actually easier to regrip if you haven’t got to spend ages rubbing all the old sticky glue off the handle, so I prefer the grips like this that just have the tacky section at one end, you dont need it all along the tape as it is being wrapped tightly and holds its self inplace, you secure the finishing end with the small black tape thats bound round the grip tape in the packaging (for those of you that havent re gripped a racket before, you need not use big black electrical tape on the top and bottom like another reviewer has, its comes supplied with everything you need)
great grips would recommend – if you are not sure how to re grip a racket just look it up on You Tube its really simple and quick, I redo ours every couple of months as we use them so ofte

Great for our badminton rackets - would buy agai

This multipack of overgrip tape should last me a while. I’ve put it on a badminton racquet and it’s holding up well so far.

Note that this is not suitable as a base grip (i.e. the only grip) on a racquet, as it’s too thin for that; instead, it’s intended to be a supplementary layer on top of an existing grip, to provide extra sweat absorbance and to be cheaper to replace than the main grip. For that, it works well.

The tape of our badmington rackets looked very worn out and I was considering of purchasing new rackets when I found this Tennis Racket Grip Tape. It is very easy to use, just peel one side off, wrap it aound diagonally from the bottom to the top and seal it with black tape. Now they look as good as new!

This is multi coloured 12 pack of tennis grip tap but can easily be used for badminton racquets, too.

    Things I liked:
    – easy to apply
    – good ant-slip grip
    – soft PU material

Overall, the length is just enough tape for the thicker handle of 4 3/8″ (size 3) . Any thicker tennis racquet handle then use less overlap wrapping. I’d prefer the tape length to be ideally 3-5cms longer. Plus, I’d liked it to be a little thicker in padding. Great for badminton and squash racquets but not so much for tennis (adult) racquets.

Wished it has a slightly longer tape length

These grips arrive in a clear plastic box, which shows the 6 different colour grips of which you get 2 of each colour. The colours range from white and grey to bright pink and bright green, so covers all tastes. I like the bright best (fluorescent pink and green). I play squash and tennis so have used these grips on bothrackets. They were really easy to put on my rackets, and I like the feel of the smoothness. I have played with both rackets and have enjoyed the way I was hitting the balls, I was able to keep a tight grip onto my rackets. The price seems very good for the number of grips you get. Overall very impressed and would highly recommend.

This grip tape is perfect to help you grip sports equipment.
The example is a Tennis Racquet, but can be widely used on other sporting equipment where a firm grasp is needed, including Golf Clubs or Hockey sticks.

Nice bright neon colours and good choice of colours in the pack.

As a relatively infrequent player of wheelchair tennis, I find new grips only last a few sessions before they need replacing. The repeated rubbing of the wheel against the racket handle wears them very quickly.

Dunlop grips seem to be ok but are relatively expensive, so any better priced alternative is always worth a look. This pack is reasonable value and has a decent grip. I replaced one today, it was easy to fit (though I didn’t do a particularly good job with the consistency of tape overlap) and was immediately a vast improvement of my old worn grip (see photos).

If I were playing regularly, then the 60 pack would make a lot of sense, at under a pound a grip they would probably last about five years.

Easy to fit, grip seems comfortable

I used these as a hack to provide grip on a DIY project with metal handlebars. So I can report this grip tape works well on metal pipe too. It’s easy to apply, with a shiny backing tape and just the right amount of adhesion. The ‘feel’ is dry but grippy, fine to touch. Good value as a multipack.

Used product to re-grip all rackets. Easy to fit, wearing well and comfortable.
    Good value

These grips are very easy to apply and come with a protective film prior to application and a securing tape, all you need is a pair of scissors to trim to size. The grip was tacky enough to prevent slippage but not over tacky to feel sticky in the hand.
These grips are more expensive than my existing ones but they do feel slightly thicker.

I am an amazon vine reviewer. I am reviewing tennis grips made by “ProBagel”
I play tennis about 3 to 4 times each week — including winter if the weather permits.

I play 10-12 sets a week. I always put a thin over grip on top of the original thicker grip that was provided when I purchased a new tennis racket. So, the wear and tear occurs on the over grip.

Based on the above, I decided to test out the ProBagel over grips.

The pack that I received contained 6 over grips in pink, orange, white, blue, green and grey.
Each over grip has a black tape with Pro Bagel written on it — more later.

I haven’t had a grey over grip before, so I used this colour first for my trial.

I removed the old over grip and then fitted the grey ProBagel over grip.

The ProBagel grip is covered with a removable see-through cellophane protective wrapping which you remove first. The ProBagel over grip has a sticky section at the bottom section with a peel off cover. You peel this cover off and then stick that part of the over grip to the bottom of the handle. Then you start to turn the handle in your handle and apply the ProBagel grip overlapping a little and working your way up the racket -like a screw thread — until you reach the top of the handle. You can then trim off the excess of the over grip with scissors and then stick on the black Pro Bagel sticky tape to secure the over grip in place.

I have played 6 sets of tennis with the grey over grip. It has a “dry tacky” feel to it which enabled me to grip the racket tightly enough to grip the handle firmly before hitting the tennis ball.

After the 8 sets there was a little scuffing on the over grip — this is more down to me occasionally not gripping the racket firmly enough which allowed the racket handle to rotate just a little. However, after these 8 sets the ProBagel over grip is performing very well.

It is certainly on a par with other tennis grips that I have used. Based on the amazon site prices, the ProBagel tennis over grip is 20% cheaper than other brands.

Overall, the ProBagel tennis grip holds its own very well, when compared to both the price and its performance. I have very much enjoyed hitting a ball with the ProBagel over grip which has a good life too before it needs changing — which I haven’t done yet.

So, it deserves consideration and gets a 5-star rating from me.

The ProBagel grips can also be used on other racket sports such as squash and badminton.

This is meant to be tape for tennis rackets but I have much better uses for it. I have it wrapped around my hand controls in the van. I also wrapped it around crutches and it really helps with cushioning.
The best thing is that it’s not sticky but sticks to itself so when it comes to changing it’s easy.
These are usually really expensive so I think this pack is great value.

Lots of uses for this grip tape

These are a good quality tennis racket wraps. They will be great if like me, you have to replace your original tape.
I’ve change two rackets so far – mine and my wife’s.
The job is straight forward: remove the tape that secures the grip wrap. Unwrap the handle completely, and make sure the handle is smooth. Start wrapping feom the bottom part of the racket, Finish at the top and secure the end using black, sticky tape provided( with “Pro Bagel” print on it), or any other tape( electrical tape should be good too).
What I like about this product:
    – tape offers good grip
    – there are 6 colors to choose from
    – the length of the tape is just right( it ends right when you are ending wrapping), so no cutting is required
    – low price for the amont of tape you get

I’m very happy with the product overall. What might help with the wrapping proceas would be a little adhesive at the wider end of the tape( to hold better when you start wrappin. But I managed to do it anyway, so I guess it’s just a matter of practice.
    Highly recommended.

    Good racket wraps

This review is for the ProBagel Tennis Racket Grip Tape (6, 12, 30 or 60 Pack), Ultra Cushion Tennis Racket Overgrip Grip, Good Absorbent Sweatbands Badminton Squash Baseball Bike Replacement Overgrip Grip Tape (Black-6Pack)

7.79 at the time of review.

I went for the 6 pack so they come in at just under 1.30 per tape. The tapes have self-adhesive tape as well to secure the grip tape to the racket at the end.

One thing I almost noticed too late was that each of the tapes had a shiny protective plastic layer on them which I peeled off before winding it on (one of the illustrations does show this). The tape wrapped well around the shaft of the racket and the self-adhesive tape locked it in place. This tape doesn’t have breathing holes in like more expensive tape and it felt a little bit thinner as well. Mine didn’t have a tapered end, but I had lots of spare so I tapered it myself with scissors.

The finish was as good as new and the grip worked well. My hand still sweated when playing with the racket, but then it does that anyway so this is no different.

The price is a little above average and there is no real wow! factor either, so I’m giving 4 stars to these grip tapes. They are not bad at all so you won’t go wrong buying them and if you go for the larger pack sizes the per unit cost drops dramatically.

I’m not very good at this sort of thing, but even I found it quite easy to give my tennis racket a new (and colourful) grip.

It’s easy to wing the tape around the racket handle, making sure it remains taught as you do so.

I didn’t realise that what I thought was just a black wrapper around the packaged tape turned out to have an adhesive back, once you remove a backing-strip from it, and this is what you use to seal the tape once you reach the top of the grip. I had to go and retrieve mine from the bin. (It would have been helpful if the vendor had provided some simple instructions to this effect).

The finished product looks and feels good to me, and I’d recommend it if your racket grip is worn or shiny.

    I hope this was useful.

Tip - the ProBagel 'wrapper' has adhesive strip; wind it around the top to seal the tape (see video)

I found 2 old badminton rackets and 2 old tennis rackets where the grips had perished to the point where your hands would get completely black just touching them…!
Perfect testing ground for these grips… 6 for 8 delivered seems a bargain. Well I didn’t read any instructions and I’ve never re-gripped anything before, but I thought I’d give it a go. I started off by trying to remove the old grip, until I realised that the new grip is much much thinner than the old material, so in fact I was better off simply winding this new grip over the top of the old one.
So I did, and you end up with a slightly thicker grip than before.
The grip feels as you’d expect for a cheap PU grip, with plenty of actual grip, and unplesant in anyway. Overall, I think worth having these around for old rackets!

Very thin, however is a cheap way to re-grip over a few rackets

Good variety of colours and and at one let’s month, enough to last a year. Not feeling material and easy to put on. A great price for the quantity. (Please see before & after photos above).

    Excellent assortment of over-grips

I ordered a multicolour pack which come in six colours, two grips each colour. The grip is not the same quality as your branded PU grip but it is very close in performance but only a third of the price.

They can be used for badminton, squash or tennis rackets, I play all three sports and these are good grips that will give you a lot of grip on your racket.

They do not look as durable as the branded grips but if you are not a seasonal player these are a good cheap alternative replacement and should last a reasonable time.

Very good value and a lot of 'grip'

Always a bit tricky when you are trying a new without having felt the actual material thickness or ‘stickiness’, but this is a great product at an excellent price. Will certainly be buying again.
