If you’re looking for weights for a 1inch diameter bar then these would work. Not the fanciest weights in the world (I expect the coating will start to come off at some point) but they perform as advertised.

Been looking for extra weights for my dumbells/barbell set but many are expensive. Saw these pop up in the Amazon warehouse and they were cheaper as they said slight damage. No damage at all – only the corners of the boxes were affected so that’s great!

So many resistance training aids come UNDER the advertised weight these days, everyone obv making a killing on selling these products. Pleased to see that the 5kg plates here ACTUALLY WEIGH 5kg. Will be ordering 10kg for sure when the time comes.

These fitted to my existing dumbbell and so served the purpose I bought them for.

Bit big but overall very happy. Slips onto weight bar easily and sturdily built. Very happy.

The weights themselves though are top notch, can’t be faulted at all. Just give them a wipe at first to take any metal dust off, and they’re good to go.

Perfect for what i need them for and not a large diameter either.
I bought these additional weights for my dumbbells and they do the job really well. I have now more weight to play with in each set.

Good old cast iron weight plates at a good price, decent enough finish and paint. Fitted my bars as they should , haven’t bothered to individually weigh them. Good addition to any gym.

Nicely made product for a very reasonable price considering the COVID-19 situation. So good that I went back and bought a second set, both times delivered quicker than expected.
Decent pair of plates, seem decent quality and fit nicely. 30 seems a bit steep for two plates, but given the circumstances it’s not too bad!

Supreme quality, will last forever. Feels heavier than my vinyl weights which are too bulky. These weights create more room to add more meaning I get more muscles…Will definitely order more in the future.

I was curious how close to 5kg the plates are and to the nearest 10g they’re pretty bang on. The cast iron should last a lifetime of use. They were well packaged and i’d definitely repeat the purchase if i need more.

I have many of these weights and they are great. Buying cast irons is always better than vinyls for two reasons:
1. they last longer
2. (and the most important for me) you can get more weight on a bar – vinyls take up much more space at the same weight.

I like the quality of the plates, though they are expensive and I need to move on too quick.
Fit well and are as expected. Worth paying the extra money for the brand and made of a sturdy material.

I got the 2x 10kg and 2 x 5kg of these for my 1″ close grip curl bar and they fit perfect. They have a nice smooth finished and are very well packed in a box in another box. There was no smell, oil or filings on the plates which has happened to me before. Well worth the price.

For basic weights with no frills they’re fine. They do what they’re supposed to do and if you buy a variety of sizes/plates you can just spin them on or off the pro iron bar and store them a little easier than having dumbbells that are a fixed weight.
Great weights, as a rookie building my muscles its great to be able to buy subsequent weights like this to add to the beginners proiron set I got previously now that I am progressing. Small steps!

Really good heavy cast iron plates. I would recommend buying the PROIRON dumbbells with these. The other brands are just cheap quality wrights filled with sand or some other materials. This is the stuff u find in good gyms.
