I have been losing a lot of hair lately. I am crossing my fingers this will help. The shampoo smells really good! It does have an herb like smell, but the lemon scent with it is really good! The conditioner smells amazing! My hair is looking a lot healthier! I will update on the “losing hair” issue in a few months…
I tried this for my big hair loss. I really love this product. It WORKS. I have tried many over the years and nothing worked. I lost big hand-fulls of hair a day and it was like fuzz in my brush. Just after 1 try of this shampoo and moisturizer no fuzz in brush nor hand-full of hair. From one image you can see some hair from before i tried this. I had already thrown out a big handful without thinking of adding a photo here, sorry about that. The other was taken after just one shampoo and i had only a few strands from brushing my hair over 2 days course. And no fuzz . My hair feels stronger now.
I rarely write reviews, so this is big deal for me. I’m so happy now and so glad I found this product. The scent is pleasant, it rinses out cleanly, and it lathers really nice.

Ok, so, last May 2020 I noticed drastic hair loss. The thought of losing my hair scared me! Anyway, I bought into the Shapiro MD. Shampoo and conditioner. Used it for 9 months…. No help.
Then, just about 5 weeks ago, I found this shampoo and conditioner and I LOVE it! I see tons of new hair! I was hardly having any growth… Now, I don’t know if you can tell from the pictures, there are little hairs coming in all over! I’m thrilled!
Smell is great! Leaves my hair so full and soft!
Also, I only need one pump of each….. It goes a long way!

Seriously, this works for me. I’ve read some reviews that claim it caused hair loss, for some. My hair is so much thicker and growing….I love this product. I just wonder about those that have hair loss, from using this product. Maybe they have an allergy to something in it? I know I had used coconut oil and it made my hair fall, I avoid products with it. ??
I would give it the 5 stars but I dont like the scent much and for fine long hair is still hard to detangle. Hair was falling big time that I thought I would end up bold but after using this shampo for about a month, the hair barely falls now.Nothing I been trying worked. I will defenetely keep buying and recommends this product .
Back story: I’ve been trying to save money and switched to the cheapest shampoo I could buy, which I learned have lot of harsh chemicals. After about 6 months I noticed my hair thinning and falling out. Before I made costly dermatologist appointments I figured I’d try switching up my shampoo first. I gave this one a go per its rave reviews. And like I said, so far less breakage. Keep in mind you have to wash your hair every day to get full results, so it will require a little more time in your daily routine.
Cons:
1) I don’t love the smell. The shampoo is very lemon-y. Some have compared it to Pine-Sol. I wouldn’t go that far but I see where they’re going. It doesn’t have that “high end” smell you’d get from other shampoos, especially mid-high priced. The conditioner scent is oddly very different from the shampoo. It’s much lighter, kind of like a soft baby powder scent. At least neither scent is very strong, nor lingers, after your hair is dried.
2) I have oily hair and it definitely makes my hair more oily on day 2 than other shampoos. But again, it’s rare that I go 2 days without washing since you’re supposed to use it every day anyways.
All in all I’m happy to continue with this shampoo and conditioner since I’ve noticed reduced fall out/breakage. Eager to see if there are any regrowth results down the line.

*PROGRESS UPDATE”: 3 month mark
First signs of hair regrowth happening. I’m seeing some little fuzzies sprout up on my head. Only issue though is the oiliness. In my last update I mentioned how the shampoo made my hair more oily but it was fine since I was washing my hair every day anyways. 3 months in and I started noticing the oil build up in my hair to the point that my hair was going limp, scalp was getting a itchy, and hair wasn’t feeling super clean. It is important to mention that I switched up to the Advanced Therapy version 2 weeks ago, but honestly I think the build up was happening even before the switch.
I finally used a clarifying shampoo today to remove the build up and my scalp and hair feel clean and “reset”. I know I’m trying to stay away from harsher shampoos but I think I’m going to start this routine of using a clarifying shampoo once a month. It’s a good product for regrowth but I wish they’d make a volumizing formula for those with oily hair.
I was losing a lot of hair for five years, I tried a lot of different brands and nothing was working for me so I started looking on Amazon I tried this and after the second wash I was definitely losing less hair. I’m not sure if I’m growing more hair yet but it’s working for me. I love it!
Fast forward to now and my hair is really getting back to normal with way less hair loss. I definitely feel this product has helped my hair In so many ways 🙂 My hair is fuller and when you wash your hair the shampoo and conditioner makes your hair soft .
The only complaint would be that it isn’t the best smelling shampoo and conditioner, but definitely worth it .

The main reason I bought this set is that it’s vegan and promotes hair growth. I’ve been using them for literally TWO DAYS and my curls are already coming back. My hair has been so damaged from bleaching and dying that it’s been straight for almost a year. The scent is interesting but not bad! I find that it does make my hair feel moisturized and soft but that isn’t the main goal of using this set in my situation. I have not seen any hair growth yet since I’ve only used it for two days but these are very promising and I highly recommend!!

Scalp sores and hairless NO MORE! I used to have sores all over my scalp, been using this shampoo and conditioner since November and all the sores are gone! My hair is thicker and fuller. Shamooo does not lather well since no additives but you must use the conditioner which makes my hair feel silky. Hair is slow growing, takes 3 months for new growth at least but I notice such a big difference, especially that I have no more sores! A first time in years! Highly recommend! Also, it smells like lemons!
I’m in the military and wearing my hair in a bun has caused a lot of traction alopecia, so I’ve been trying to find anything I can do to help my hairline. I have noticed less hair shedding and my part is looking better with this product. I took before and after pictures along the way. I very recently (2 weeks) started adding a daily multivitamin and collagen/biotin vitamin to my regimen along with this shampoo/conditioner. Hoping to see better results with all of those combined!
My hair was visibly falling out. I could see it lying around my white sink, in the white tub, etc. I’d wipe the fallen hair away but next day I’d see more. I don’t see much hair at all after about two weeks of using both of these anti-thinning Pura D’Or products. I’m not sure if my bald spot is actually filling in with live hair, but at least my hair is no longer covering the sink or tub. That’ pretty much a big deal to me!
Also, I feel like my scalp is healthier & less dry since I started with these products. I don’t seem to have the flakey scalp I had a month ago. Very crazy! I’m amazed.

Worth every penny. Any women out there who have PCOS like me, this shampoo helped with shedding hair, thickness and helped my baby hairs grow back.
I started using this for the more natural ingredients, that it contains biotin, and mostly because I have a chronic dry scalp and am tired of the harsh chemicals in dandruff shampoo.
I’ve only been using a couple weeks so I cannot attest to the hair growth aspect. That said I gave this 5 stars because I LOVE the smell! My hair is very soft and manageable. I love that it’s free of harsh chemicals and (very important to me) environmentally responsible. My scalp has been noticeable different; it’s hardly itchy at all now. I look forward to seeing if there is any increase in growth.
I was very skeptical about how well this would actually clean the scalp and get rid of oil. Turns out it works wonderfully! Gets the hair and scalp very clean, but doesn’t feel stripped and dry either. The conditioner is amazing as well. Conditions the hair perfectly and doesn’t weigh it down. My hair actually feels clean, soft and slightly more voluminous. I’ve only been using it for a little over a week now (I wash my hair every other day) so I haven’t noticed a huge difference in the amount of hair I lose, but I have a good feeling about this product. I love the ingredient list and the products have a very nice, light and natural smell. Very worth it. Excited to continue using it.
I am a 70yr old male with a good head of hair. Recently my hair after a self short hair cut was slow to grow and seemed thin, my scalp was itchy and dry. I thought it might be stress due to pandemic. So I purchased this shampoo and conditioner. My scalp feels great, my hair is thicker and soft. I also added a biotin capsule and it has improved greatly in 2 months. I feel relieved. Excellent product, I never believed in shampoo claims and used basic stuff. I was wrong. This shampoo and conditioner will help thinning and unhealthy scalp.
Love the light citrusy fragrance, gives my hair body and great shine. Also notice lots of new growth by hairline. Originally bought for husband, because he thought he was losing too much when brushing his hair(it’s very long too). He says he likes it’s lather, less loss when brushing, it’s soft and shinny. While I did not find a ton of benefits in using this product, their customer service was impeccable. Unfortunately, my hair is thinning due to an autoimmune and I must address the problem internally. I wanted to give it a shot and unfortunately I did not have many benefits. Customer service quickly got back to stating they have a satisfaction guarantee and issued me a refund right away. I am grateful for companies that value their customers in this way. Many people have found the product to be helpful – just was not for me unfortunately..
I just received my 2nd set of shampoo and conditioner and excited. They smell so good and make your hair look thick and weightless after washing. I like the way my hair feel. It helps with losing hair and I notice less hair on the floor these days. I think some review said it helps with getting hair longer quick, I haven’t notice that yet. But I’ve been using this for just a few weeks. But overall, this is the best shampoo and conditioner I’ve ever use for hair loss and scent is the bonus. I am loving it.
Let me tell you something. I’ve tried sooo many hair products. My hair doesn’t grow much. Is super thin and nothing seems to work. And I decided to give this a try based on the reviews and the over description of the product. Super happy to say my hair has grown so much since I started using this product a month or so ago. As far as anti thinning it hasn’t worked much for me. But I’m not knocking the product cause people fail to realize thinning can also be a signal of health related things and not the product. But if you’re skeptical of the product the only way to find out if it works for you is to…. TRY IT! I definitely recommend you do. Hopefully it works for you too!
I’ve been using this for about 4 months and I HIGHLY recommend. I used this shampoo and conditioner consistently- normal wash for me is about every other day (sometimes longer), I also was sometimes taking collagen powder in my coffee and drops on my scalp of ” Vegamor hair serum” but was not super consistent with those. All I can say is I have SO MANY NEW BABY HAIRS on my hairline. Completely shocked, and so happy. keep at it consistently, be super patient and try not to stress when you do notice your hair thinning. Cant recommend Enough & I will be continuing to use this.
I am over 50 and have professionally colored long hair. My husband who doesn’t notice subtle hair changes, even commented on how shiny my hair looked. I am usually the person who buys whatever shampoo is on sale, I mean how much difference does it make anyway. I was of the mindset that the stying products I used were more important in how my hair looked than my shampoo. What a difference these products have made! I feel my hair has grown longer. These products do not affect my color/highlights either. These products make your hair feel so soft and shiny and my hair feels as if it stays cleaner longer and I can go another day without washing or using dry shampoo.
I bought this shampoo and conditioner in october 2020. i was losing a lot of hair daily for a few years now and have tried every brand on the market, even those super expensive ones (Zenagen did work but its way too expensive for me). I have oily roots and dry ends so I wash my hair every two days and within a month i noticed a huge difference in the lack of hair that was losing with this product. It’s been just over two months now and I am literally losing half as much hair as I use to. My hair is very healthy looking and feels great. The shampoo doesn’t make a lot of suds but it washes really well and the conditioner makes my hair super silky. I just recently colored my hair so I’m not sure how it will do on the color.
Why did I not know about this shampoo sooner? Amazing. We 50-60-something ladies have issues with thinning hair and I could tell a difference after my first shampoo and condition with these products. Feels good, smells good. LOVE the pump bottles! I also added to my regimen a scalp massage brush to stimulate my scalp. Game changing products, these are!
I have to say I bought this because of all of the positive reviews and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend the product to anyone who would like to try a new shampoo post menopause. After menopause, my hair has become brittle, fallen out, and lifeless. Just after one deep shampoo and condition of these, I can tell a noticeable difference in the wall my hair falls after blowdrying. I have hope for my hair again. I bought this for myself and my teenage daughter who experienced hair damage after dyeing her hair hot pink during quarantine herself and didn’t rinse off the dye (parenting fail!).
I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you have excessively dry and damaged hair.
The nozzles arrived cracked so when I pump the product, it comes out of the top. Not a big deal but I do waste a lot more. When I’m using it, the shampoo makes my hair feel icky and hard to comb through at first (although it might be because my hair was previously bleached) but the conditioner makes it smooth. I only wash my hair once a week so it may take longer to take effect but hopefully I’ll be able to provide an update!
6 Months Update: Just opened my restock and the nozzles were intact this time! I noticed the bottles were a different color this time but the labels are the same so hopefully there won’t be much difference. Prior to using this product, I used the Wen cleansing conditioner and if y’all know, Wen has been infamous for causing hair loss. I used to think I just naturally shed a lot because my hair is so thick but decided to switch to this after seeing it recommended in a beauty group I’m in to see if it really was the Wen causing me to lose more hair. Of course I still shed, but I shed significantly less now than I did when I used Wen. Seeing the reviews I was definitely confused. I just don’t think it’s made for everyone because this definitely worked for me. The conditioner for sure leaves my hair feeling super silky, especially when paired with a serum I’ve been using.
Scent is amazing. The shampoo scent is like orange peels but not fruity and the conditioners scent is like tutti-frutti. I waited two days to wash my hair because I knew my new shampoo and conditioner would be arriving soon and I wanted to give it a try. Let me just say normally when I waited a few days to wash my hair tons of hair will fall out. When I used this new shampoo and conditioner only 3 tiny strands came out. My hair feels light, soft, looks healthy and clean after one use. I can’t wait to see how using this long term will help my hair. Definitely going to keep buying it. The picture shows the VERY tiny amount of hair loss with brushing and pulling the wet ends.
As a guy, I’m pretty quick in the shower: shampoo, face, shave, conditioner, body. These products state best if left in for ~3 minutes, which has thrown my whole shower routine out. I now go: face, shampoo (leave in), shave, conditioner (leave in), body, which allows the ~3 minutes for each the shampoo and conditioner to set in. I still can’t tell if it’s making my hair thicker, but that’s also a function of me growing my hair a little longer. I used to keep it really short (think almost buzzed), but have recently grown it a little longer to cover the thinning spots, so hard to compare just yet. Again, I’ll update in another month.

Just arrived and I’ve used once; the bottle states that full results will be seen in about three months, so I’ll endeavor to update then.
I’m a middle aged dude and notice there are many lady reviews, but not as many from guys.
The shampoo lathers, but not as much as typical shampoos. I remember this from having to use my wife’s special shampoo when the kids would steal my bottle out of our shower. Both the shampoo and conditioner have a nice scent, but not too strong or fru-fru. My hair is pretty moist already, so hard for me to assess that just yet, but they did leave my hair soft. Again, I’ll try to update on ~3 months presuming I see results as suggested.
I switch between these products and a shampoo that is a bit stronger since I work out a lot and my hair gets pretty sweaty. I don’t know how strong the shampoo is against sweat so I want to be sure it is really clean sometimes.
When I use these two together, my hair is noticeably softer. I am older now so my hair is not as oily as it once was and I suspect that these products may not work as well for someone with very oily or very fine hair. You might want to test them before committing. It could make some hair types feel limp, especially if you have very fine hair. I have thick, medium-fine hair with a lot of body so this works perfectly to allow some volume and add amazing softness. I highly recommend these products.

Usually my hair only likes a shampoo for like 3months and then it is not soft anymore and feels like it’s coated in plastic and I have to switch to something else… Not so with this shampoo and conditioner… So far so good.
These bottles have a disclaimer saying “results should be taken into account after using every day for three months”. Or something close to that. ………. I have never wanted to write a review so bad or have had such little impatience in waiting to write one. …….. Now I know that obviously I’m not growing new hair after three washes, but, my shower drain after the second wash was completely empty and very little hair noted in the brush. After the third wash, my hair felt thicker. So no i am not related to any of the emploees or receiving any kick backs for a good review, I just have really great hair right now and fingers cross I will have new growth soon.
I hesitated purchasing these products because of the negative reviews about losing more hair. I’m so glad I took the chance! The first time I used it, my hair felt 3 times thicker! Even my husband noticed! I have long hair, and usually loose a LOT when combing out my wet hair. I was shocked at how few strands were in my comb! Ladies, face it. Hair tangles, especially if you have long hair. There is no magic bullet! BUT, when I used a pick to comb my hair out after using this product, it didn’t tangle as much, and was really soft. Give it a try!!!!!
I have been using for a month before writing a review. I can see a difference in my hair. My hair is almost 2 feet long and it only hurts sirs one pump to get enough shampoo to wash my hair with. The shampoo lathers very well and cleans my hair nicely. The conditioner needs 2 pumps and I only condition from about 3 inches from my scalp and to the roots. I can tell that my hair feels better and is not weighted down with product nor is there a dryness from an alcohol based shampoo.
My hair is not damaged and I don’t have split ends but I can tell an improvement in the texture/ softness. The growth I am not sure about because it had only been a month.
The bottles will probably last me about 3 months as I only use the shampoo 4 days a week.
I like the scent! Herbal yet not overpowering. My scalp does not itch. The deep conditioner is very luxurious. My hair is manageable and soft. I’ve used it once, so I can’t

I’ve now used this product for a couple months. My hair does seem stronger now. I am not seeing as much “fallout” in the shower drain. I like this product very much. The company sent me a free bottle as well.
This has very fortunately been working well for me so far. I have been using this shampoo and conditioner set every other day for a little under 3 weeks, and I noticed overall improvement after the first use.
I have diagnosed adrenal fatigue that I’m recovering from, but in recent months I also noticed my hair volume getting noticeably and worrisomely lower. I noticed a patch forming on my temple and the little volume I felt in my hair when washing and when putting it into a pony tail was really starting to freak me out. But I don’t have proper health insurance and so I couldn’t see a doctor.
I then saw reviews for this shampoo/conditioner and decided to give it a try. The volume as I was even rinsing out my first shampoo blew my mind – I couldn’t remember the last time I felt my hair that thick. After the first shampoo my hair looked noticeably healthier in every way – fuller, shinier, softer. Since it has only been less than three weeks, I am not noticing yet any regrowth in the patch on my temple, nor is my hair like it was when I was in my 20s, but my hair no longer looks “sickly”. The hair sitting on my drain is also around half of what it used to be.
So my hair was starting to get thin. it was dry, brittle, and damaged from past coloring and constant straightening. To be honest, I was only going to buy this for the “thickening” claims. however, it has made a major difference in my hair in MANY ways! Just to note as well, I did get a haircut before buying this so that way I could get rid of the damage. I will list off what I loved about this shampoo and conditioner:

– it made my hair frizz-free
– less dry, more moisturized
– SHINY. wow so shiny- I never thought my hair would get this way ever.

– I think it has grown a bit too. However, there are no claims that it grows hair!

What I don’t like about this stuff:
– When I got the package, it was a little leaky
– the shampoo does not smell good (but I don’t care because I know it is a natural smell and there aren’t chemicals in it lol)
– My hair gets oily faster (Since its more hydrating on my hair, I find I can only go about 4 days without washing when I would be able to go for a week)
– at first, I thought my hair was falling out more after I used it… but I kept using it and the hair stopped falling out.
– The seller included some sketchy free shampoo and conditioner coupons for another site in my box. It’s like it wasn’t the original Parador seller- be aware of that!
Otherwise, I HIGHLY recommend this for those who have dry hair. I don’t recommend for those who have oily hair.

One never knows for sure if what works for one person will work for the next, but I took a chance on this based on the many great reviews. I’m here to say that they’re the honest truth. When my hair started thinning and drying out due to age, I started looking for a product that would help. What really concerned me was the amount of hair that was ending up in my brush and around the shower drain after washing it. I thought I’d wait a month or so before writing a review, just to make sure Pura D’Or was as good a choice for me as it’s been for others. It is! My hair is strong and soft again! I see small amounts of new growth at the hairline, but most of all, there are very few hairs left in my brush and none on the shower floor, so the thinning has also lessened a lot. Love the shampoo and conditioner. I have straight, fine hair and the conditioner doesn’t weigh it down or leave it looking flat. They both smell pleasant and leave my hair feeling clean, bouncy and silky. Thanks everybody!
I used this shampoo and conditioner for the first time today and was compelled to immediately write a positive review. The first thing I noticed was the wonderful scent, and this must be from the plant ingredients, not from an added synthetic fragrance (I checked the labels and did not see fragrance listed as an added ingredient). The shampoo lathered well and did not feel as if it was stripping my hair. It just made my scalp feel very clean. As for the conditioner, it felt like pure luxury. It is extremely rich and creamy, but I did not have problems rinsing it out. My hair is air drying as I am writing this, and I am noticing that my natural waves are returning in a very soft, not frizzy, way. I purchased these products because my 68-year-old silver hair is thinning. I was hoping this nourishing shampoo and conditioner could help with fullness and growth. So far, based on my first experience alone, I definitely want to continue to use these products, and plan to purchase more after I finish this review. The scent and luxurious texture alone are enough to keep me happy, and I hope I will see improved hair health as time goes by. I would give this shampoo and conditioner 10 stars if I could!
I’m a 47 yr old Asian male. Had thick hair but recently it has really started to thin. Noticed my hair all over shower and sink. Wanted to slow the thinning so tried this product. After using consistently for three weeks it seems the hair loss has significantly lessened. I don’t feel my hair is growing more or getting thicker but does seem to not be falling out as such a high rate anymore. Definitely going to keep using to see. The scent is good and not too over powering for men to use.
As for how it makes your hair feel. After using my hair is left feeling dry even after using the conditioner. Not unmanageable but def feels different than when I use my Head and Shoulders 2 in 1. I’m getting use to it now so not much of an issue.
Going to keep using to see how my hair loss is over the next few months. I would say it’s def worth a try if you’re trying to slow hair loss.
After undergoing chemo and losing my hair 3 years ago, my hair has grown back but is very thin. I read some glowing reviews about this shampoo and conditioner, so I ordered it a couple of months ago. I used it 4 times, but was put off by the smell of tea tree oil and the lack of suds – so I returned it. But a couple of weeks ago (about 6 weeks after using this shampoo & conditioner) I had my hair trimmed, and my stylist noticed lots of new growth – she was so impressed! So I reordered it, and am now using it alternately with my dandruff shampoo. Since I now know what to expect with the scent and low suds, it no longer bothers me. I’m so grateful for new growth that I’ve even grown to like the scent!
The shampoo’s consistency is runny. I have to use a lot to get a good lather. It smells really good and therapeutic.
Scent a bit “herbal” for me but it does make a difference for my thinning hair. I can feel the scalp stimulation when I am shampooing. The price is so much better than the better known brand I used to use for the same outcome.
It is necessary to use it repeatedly to notice hair thickening, but it is good shampoo in general.
I wish the scent were not so strong.
What I noticed at first was the scent…I really enjoy it its like pine, tea tree, and others all mixed. Very pleasing. The second thing I noticed was my itching stopped. I went from itching like a beast on a daily basis to almost no itching at all. It has been 2 weeks and I have not touched my head and shoulders for dermatitis since!! The thinning hair and falling out has all but stopped as well. My girlfriend says even she notices!! As for regrowth…not sure on that yet but when it dries, my hair looks fuller and to me that is a very huge boost in self confidence. I would say for all you itchy heads out there *up top not down there, go to a doctor for that* give this a try 😀
While I don’t think this is moisturizing, it does work. I see little hairs growing on my temple, on my cheeks and my side burns are looking pretty 70ish. Lol. But it is working. Now I need to decide if I’m going to keep using this. As I fear that if I stop my hair will go back to being a little thinner and then is it with it? Like at some point I shouldn’t buy a product for 10 years.
I am 38 and have always had thin hair, lately it’s been falling out often and just looks not full of life. I stumbled upon this while searching for help with this issue and although it was pricy I gave it a try bc of the reviews. In just 4 (FOUR) washes there was a difference. My friend thought I had gotten my hair done. My husband could tell the back of my head, the hair was fuller. This works GREAT and if u have thin hair, balding spots, I highly recommend this product! The shampoo smells pretty good and the conditioner smells really good! Loveeee this!
I ran out of this product, began using a well know product I had used in the past, and realized after several months, that my hair was dry, thinning, and I was experiencing lots of breakage. I’m back to PURA D’OR. I purchased

–First of all, it is very natural, and the fact it works so well for a very natural product is astounding. That being said, the scent is lemony and nice, and the shampoo is thinner than the conditioner.

I have read comments about it not working or drying…. well, use it CORRECTLY, and I doubt this will be the issue. (My hair is dry, AND colored, so used as directed, NO PROBLEM!)
Massage shampoo into scalp and all over head for the 2 minutes; you will like the results! Honestly, without using the conditioner correctly, you will have dry hair. Use the conditioner AS DIRECTED, you will be pleased! I would give this stuff 6 stars if I could!
I lose quite a lot of hair due to chronic medical condition. Honestly I had very low expectation when I bought this product. Was just to give it a go.
However, I am really impressed with the results. Just after first use, I saw very noticeable hair loss after blow dry. Can’t say much about new hair growing as I only used them for about 2 months, but the fact that I’m loosing less hair is a good start.
I have hypothyroidism my hair over the years has really thinned out and has been falling out. I have been using this shampoo the scent is not the greatest but my hairdresser told me she can see I have a lot of baby hair growing. The conditioner does smell good, but don’t use as much because any conditioner makes it fall out even more. I have recommended this product to a friend of mine going through postpartum hair loss and she can also tell her hair is regrowing. It does leave my hair a little dry but then leaves soft as my hair dries.
Most hair loss shampoos/conditioners tend to be a bit hard on the hair that is already established (and tend to smell rather mentholly). EXCELLENT product! In March my hair was thinning & falling out for the 1st time in my life! (Age 60.) I used the Pura d’or Biotin Gold Label shampoo/conditioner for anti-hair loss, hopeful but skeptical that it would actually work. By August I had NO hair loss problem and my hair was filling out again. I’m a believer! This product does all it says it will! I was diagnosed with PCOS 4 years ago and I’ve noticed that I’ve been loosing my hair and my hair is slowly thinning out. I just started using these products in the last week. Since I have curly hair and don’t wash my hair daily (every other to every two days), I have washed my hair twice at this point, so I will give a follow up review in 30 days and 90 days, which is how long they recommend you using before you will see Best results. Obviously my hair isn’t any thicker yet and I don’t see new hair growth, but my hair does look fuller, shinier, and softer which is a plus for sure. I like the scent. It is very soft and natural, not at all overwhelming. I will not and have not received anything for my review, I just want to give an honest review that people can trust. I was losing a lot of hair because of a hysterectomy, which many do. It’s been over a year and a half, but the hair loss increased recently. After only 3 days, I noticed I was not losing as much hair. I honestly couldn’t believe I saw this quick of a result. I waited on a review because I wanted to make sure it kept working. I have gone through a few bottles, I believe. My hair is thicker now, and I am very happy! I will keep buying this product and telling people about it. I got the Original shampoo and conditioner. Then I use the conditioner and leave it in a couple minutes. I’m not taking any Biotin supplements or other things that help the hair either, so only this product can be given credit for my awesome results.
Hair thinning with age and finding nothing that significantly improved the condition , I reluctantly tried this product based on the reviews of current users . Results for me were immediate , washing my hair now results in remarkably less hair loss , hair that is soft – smooth – bulky – and smells awesome . The company indicated that about 6 months of usage are required to see significant results , based on current performance I expect to see that and much more !

I was trying for over year to find something that would restore what I was left with, and had no success until I bought this PURA D’OR combination of shampoo and conditioner. What a difference! The shampoo gives body to my thinned-out hair, and the conditioner makes it silky and soft.
My hair has grown back quite well since I started using these two products, and I’m even seeing regrowth in spots around my hairline that I thought were going to be forever bald. I would recommend PURA D’OR to anyone!
This is not for me. I have very fine hair that is thinning on top. This product makes my hair flat & lifeless. I don’t care for the tree oil scent. My hair is oily by the end of the day I washed it & it started falling out since using it. My hair didn’t feel moistured as much as oily & dirty on my scalp, but the lower hair felt dry. Truely disappointed, as I had high hopes based on the reviews.
I was skeptical at first of how this shampoo & conditioner would work for textured hair types and I must say I am in awe. I have thin 4b type hair and the shampoo/conditioner are both hydrating and leave my hair super soft and easy to comb through. The conditioner especially has a detangling effect to it that makes it super easy to comb through. I’ve used multiple conditioners throughout my life and I can honestly say my hair has never felt this soft and moisturized after use. As for the whether its actually growing or thickening my hair..I am still waiting to see as I’ve only used it about 6 times so far. Will update with any other results.
Follow up from an earlier 4 star rating, have changed it to 5 full stars. Both my spouse and I like this shampoo and conditioner set. After a few uses, have noticed wavy hair a bit more wavy. Spouse’s hair stylist had noted hair seemed to be growing more quickly. If you look at the ingredients, there are quite a few and as a result. the scents in both the shampoo and conditioner are well presented, not overwhelming at all. A slight lemon element is definitely present. Good lather with the shampoo and I do believe the conditioner has helped making combing out much easier with less tangles. Definite positive recommendations from two here.
I have used this product twice now and find I highly recommend for thinning hair. My hair has two problems. Not only is it thinning but it is also very fine. I have tried many shampoos for thinning hair and I must say this is the first one I have used that doesn’t smell like a medicine cabinet! It has a light citrus, pleasant scent and rinsed out easily.
As I mentioned, I also have very fine hair which means it tangles very easily, so with some trepidation I used the conditioner anticipating the battle I would have with the tangles. I was much surprised when my hair came out tangle-free! My hair is very soft and shiny after using both products.
I cannot say yet if it will improve the thinning problem since I have only used it a couple of times, but if the condition this product left my hair in is any indication, I am anticipating good results. At least I didn’t rip my hair out with tangles!
I bought these products because my hair is rapidly thinning. I used both the shampoo and conditioner according to directions. (I have to insert here that I had a really hard time getting the pump open. It does not screw off easily by turning it counterclockwise.) I am not fond of the smell of the shampoo. Now the conditioner is another story. It smells absolutely wonderful and it left my hair soft and shiny. It is not greasy.
I will update this review in three months and let you know if it worked to slow the thinning of my hair.
My hair used to be silky and very thick. I am on medication that has made me lose my hair and as a consequence it is frizzy and dull. After one wash/condition, my hair looked so much better. It was very shiny and feels incredibly soft and moisturized. I had been using good quality Davines shampoo and conditioner previously. I’m impressed with the visible difference, but I can’t speak to the hair growth as I haven’t used it long enough. The shampoo smell is subtle (maybe rosemary?) but the conditioner smells a little sweeter like banana. I will continue to use this regardless of hair growth progress. I’m also taking Bloomy hair vitamins.
I have notice such a difference using this product! Highly recommend!
I love this. Smells really clean and fresh. The shampoo feels really thick and luxurious but the conditioner is something else. Super thick and creamy and gives really good slip to my otherwise dry curly hair. Calmed down the frizzies and after a couple of months use my hair feels (and looks) a little thicker and I have baby hairs!!!
Smells lovely and makes my hair feel nice. Too early to tell if it helps with thinning yet tho. I also like the quantities it comes in too. Not bad for the price.

Pura D’or shampoo is the best fit for me, I have tried different kinds of high quality shampoo with quality ingredients but am sticking to this one due to its amazing effect on my hair, you will feel the difference from the 2nd time of using it! This time I ordered the combo to try their conditioner and it met my expectations, I use it for both my hair and beard to make it softer. Both scents are nice and well balanced. I recommended the shampoo to my friends who first found it overpriced, I explained its magical effects on the hair and thus they bought it, they all have fell in love with it!

I was using a much more expense hair thickening shampoo and conditioner & saw good reviews for this. More than happy as twice the amount at half the price especially as have long hair as was expensive. The shampoo is very deep cleaning literally leaving your hair squeaky clean but the conditioner is a nice detangler leaving your hair nice, soft, looking thicker & more voluminous. Big thumbs up from me!
