This is amazing, easy to use and I love the 20min knock off feature.
I am not sure what benefit I get from using this but if does feel good on my legs. 3 different modes, I normally just use them back to back. I am sure it is not doing me any harm.
I have used the QUINEAR Leg Air Compression for a few months as a way of improving my leg circulation and massage after long runs or gym workouts, It has three modes with three power levels, 9 in total from soft compression to much powerful depending on the personal choice. Easy to use and easy to fit to different sizes. The connector design and material make are robust and high spec hence the price. Excellent all-rounded product with first-class support should you need to contact QUINEAR that I did for a minor issue and resolved immediately, very impressed.
Read all the reviews before ordering. I’ve hardly been able to move for over 6 months and was told my muscles were really tight. After 2 weeks I can feel the difference. It’s an amazing product ankles have gone down, muscles so much better. I can get around now. Thank you for a wonderful product.
A little cumbersome particularly if one cannot bend easily other wise some relief was achieved. This method does not beat physical hand message.
It takes a little getting used to, especially if you want to use one leg at a time.
Suffering from neuropathy & restless leg syndrome I wanted to remove my leg but apparently I am not allowed. With the pandemic stopping the 2 year appointment at pain clinic I had waited for I had to try something, but the price? I had tried massagers, compression hot/cold packs. Foot massagers.
I have pain from my groin to my knee which also aches, spasms and I feel that they need squeezing. This part as well as my feet feel like they need to be pulled or cracked as though there is a build up of fluid and they feel swollen.
Well I put them on and I finally went to sleep! I hadn’t slept for about 2 weeks. I need it on the highest and tightest setting especially for my foot. It has been a few months now and they have become a bit out of shape but I couldn’t be without them. Also my mother in law started chemo and was finding her legs becoming really painful for a couple of days after chemo Causing distress. So we sanitised them and sent them over and her words were oh my finally I feel like the pain is going. When my husband asked her if she wanted him to take them off and put them away she said I actuallly just want to lay here and not move.
So they are expensive and are they worth it? Yes. I use mine daily.
GRIPES: (I’m British so there was bound to be something)
*You have to have both legs on. I have a problem with just the right leg. I wish that you could just plug up the other slot and maybe even have more air compressing the leg.
*At the end of the second mode it does this quick fill and empty so more in rhythm with a massage (think squeezing stress ball) this feels nice and a sequence I wish that was one of the continuous modes as an option.
*When laying down they are difficult to put on especially when you can’t move or bend so another person go do the Velcro up and help put them on is needed if you have any mobility issues.
* Don’t think they would last longer than 8-9 months but I use them 5 times a week at least.
As i am nurse,i love this product…such relives for inflammatio
I have experienced aching legs and pain in my calves for years. I wasn’t sure if i had a DVT in my left calf because it was so painful. It may just be muscle knots. Ive had a very painful massage . The compression massager was very effective. I have only used it on minimum. But it does get tight. It’s early days to say if it will help me in the long run. But i am hopeful. It does feel good when using. Rather cumbersome … i am 5’3″ .
These very much look like a fad product both in the product photos and in reality, however, they do have some effect.
A couple of friends of ours both had operations in their legs (one ankle and one knee) many years ago and they’ve been suffering different effects since then and since they are also both working standing up most of the time, they have some added issues.
This massager has been very welcome for them and they’ve used it as much as possible and almost as much as advised.
Fortunately, they have more space in their home than we have in ours and therefore they’ve not suffered the same issues we had with storage when it’s not in use. It is not exactly small and you also have to be careful not to break it by storing it incorrectly. It’s a bit cumbersome, but our friends are happy to use it and they say that they feel it has helped a bit – even just making the legs relax at night has been a big benefit.
It is very pricey, but if you do go for massages regularly and it does indeed have some effect as evidenced by my friends, it will not take too many “home-massages” to replace the ones you pay for at the massage places. It is obviously not the same quality, but it might be a good substitute for some of the treatments.
The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Even without the instructions the remote is very easy to use, there are 3 modes and 3 intensities. The Velcro element means each leg can be adjusted to fit perfectly.
A great massager particularly for those who have poor circulation like the elderly who may not be as mobile. Alternatively if you workout a lot this can definitely help aid recovery in helping the blood flow in your legs.
I found this leg massager really easy to use with clear concise instructions.
I suffer from fibromyalgia and also severe cramping leg pain this was such a great item to assist in relieving me of the tension and help ease my pain somewhat.
so this wraps around each leg, with each one labelled left and right securing with velcro straps.
there are some extra pieces in case you need extra for your calves but the sizes here are pretty generous I myself am a size 16/18 and had no issues whatsoever.
the two pieces of tubing then plug into the controller and that into the mains via an adapter plug.
Press the on/off button and you’re ready to go.
This had three massage modes and three intensities, i tried various combinations and they were all relatively comfortable.
I would defiantly recommend this as I am more than happy with the results especially when you factor in the cost of a massage this then works out excellent value.
These arrived quickly within a couple of days and are very relaxing to use unfortunately the ones I received are faulty the foot and calves work as they should but the thigh part won’t inflate on either leg. I checked the instructions and the Whole program on the controller should work all parts. I’ve contacted QUINEAR customer services and am waiting for there reply. I will update my review once I’ve had a response to resolve the issue.
Update from quinear after just one day very helpful and resolved my issue by agreeing to send me a replacement set. I’ve found quinear to be professional seller and have taken prompt action to resolve my complaint.
If you often have sore muscles after leg day at the gym then this is ideal for relieving that and aiding your muscle recovery. The massager surrounds some of the thigh and most of the calf area. It gently compresses your leg by inflating with air, there are several modes to increase compression and I find them all adequate levels for different types of recovery.
I find that it’s also a good idea to use this before a leg workout to get the blood flowing. It makes a huge difference and eases pain very effectively.
The controls are easy to operate, it’s intuitive and simple so you probably won’t even need the manual.
Overall, it’s an excellent device which I definitely recommend for those with leg pains.
Right .. poor circulation?? How much is a massage??? Think about how many massages you’ve had?! Now this thing is one price and does it for you!! And feels amazing especially after a run!!!! Oh yeh
I want to thank QUINEAR and Amazon for sending me this air leg compression massager to review. First things first if you have or are suffering with any of the following symptoms or illnesses please consult your specialist or GP before buying this product for their advice. The following symptoms are listed in the brochure of this compression massager if you are wearing a pacemaker or electrical implant, malignant tumours, diabetic neuropathy, heart problems. This Quinear air leg compression massager came well boxed and packaged, in the box you receive a left leg compression boot a right leg compression boot. There is also two extendable pieces for those who have larger legs around the thighs and calves. A solid hand held remote which has three buttons and also a bag to place all of these items in when finished for storage and electrical plug for power. Each leg compression boot has a 1 m cable which is plugged into the handheld remote which is approximately 6 to 8 inches long. The three buttons on the remote consist of power on and off sequence and sensitivity from low to high. The leg compression massage units are well built to a high standard with Velcro fasteners. if you have large feet you can snip the front of the feet area for more comfort. This has a 20 minute cycle plan and when you first start off the advice to start on the low sensitivity. My mum has been using this since late December 2019 and has found it it has reduced the swelling of her ankles and lower legs. The only thing she has difficulty with is securing the Velcro straps on the feet due to her bad hip. Basically will give you a quick run through of the procedure she places the compression boot one on each leg, Connects the left and right cables to the handheld remote which once again it is approximately 1 m in length. Plugs the power wall socketing and the DC5 into the handheld remote which Powers on the device the cable of the wall socket is approximately 2 m in length. She then selects her sequence and the sensitivity and the cycle begins for 20 minutes, You can repeat this three times a day. The easiest way to describe the sensation of this particular product would be like having your blood pressure being taken by the hospital or doctors. Each boot from the feet to the calves and thighs compress and then decompress boosting your circulation and reducing swelling to your legs and feet and ankles. As I said previous this product is well manufactured and has gave some relief by reducing swelling to my moms legs and feet so for any improvements to her circulation or reduce of swelling has to get an approval from me which this product does.
Using this leg massager has been a revelation!

DETAILED REVIEW
Without boring you with the details, I recently had a shock diagnosis of a condition – hopefully temporary – that involves a lot of worry about blood flow. To add to the difficulties I’m currently far less mobile as a result, and that in itself creates risks. Older and less active people often suffer swollen ankles and blood pooling in the legs. Unless you walk around a lot, your leg muscles aren’t helping squeeze it back up to your heart. Left long enough, that blood can clot, forming a deep vein thrombosis or DVT. That adds a significant risk of clots going elsewhere in the body too, such as the lungs or brain. Ultimately it can lead to loss of limb, stroke and heart attack. This is why the hospital forces you out of bed as soon as possible after an operation. Members of my family have had all three, so I know the importance of good blood flow! Poor blood flow in the legs can also lead to wounds that don’t heal, sore feet, infections, loss of mobility, less social interaction, loneliness, depression and a reduced lifespan. The NHS spends billions every year on these ailments. If only those things could be avoided by helping to maintain good blood flow in the first place. Enter this amazing device.
Easy to step into and do up with the velcro tabs, this massager fits pretty much any leg size. It works by gently squeezing your legs using air bladders contained in a velcro wrapped boot. Tubes attach to a controller, from which you can select from a choice of three modes and three levels of pressure. The air pump is in the controller which is surprisingly compact, and connected to the mains via a helpfully long 2.5m (8ft) lead with a transformer plug on the end. Everything wrapped around your foot or in your hand is running at a safe 12 volts.
I find this massager very soothing, and the action is computer controlled to squeeze first your feet, then your calves, then your thighs, moving the blood progressively upwards. The cuffs then relax to allow fresh blood in, before repeating the cycle in a timed loop. I have found it very effective indeed, and why the NHS doesn’t join up their brain cells and issue these things to people at risk I really don’t know. It would be a great deal cheaper than sending out community nurses or treating people in hospital as a result of the consequences of a clot. Using this device gives me a reassurance I am taking active measures to prevent further medical problems for myself.
CONCLUSION
Going on my experience I really do genuinely think that if you can afford to buy one of these, and you’re less mobile or perhaps have elderly parents, then there’s really no downside. Quinear also make a slightly cheaper version that ends below the knee but has an additional heating function if you have particularly cold feet. Using a massager like this could quite literally add years to a life span, and help avoid so many painful problems in the meantime too. I wish so much that I could have bought these for my parents, before their troubles. Sadly that was a few years ago and I’m too late. Perhaps you aren’t.
If this information has been useful I’d be hugely grateful if you could let me know by hitting the button below. Many thanks 🙂
Absolutely love this product! Very easy to get into and use. These are really good quality. Great for after a long day running around. Super easy to set up and use.
These come well packaged. The box contains
* 2 Velcro boots with attached cables
* Mains cable
* Hand held controller
* Velcro calf extensions for those with a wider leg.
* Carry case to store it all away in.
Got these for my Dad who fell off a ladder and suffered a severe brain injury. He has little to no movement from the waste down. Confined to a bed and wheelchair, he has developed oedema in his feet and lower legs, has poor circulation, cold legs and feet, suffers from spasticity in his legs which causes pain. His feet and ankles can get extremely swollen. Before putting them on Dad we’re waiting for the go ahead from his consultant. I’ve read that if you’re at risk of blood clots in the leg you need to consult with a doctor before using them. In the warnings section of the instructions it lists medical conditions where you need to consult a doctor before using. Including poor blood flow in the lower limbs. We trialed them in the meantime and will update if and when we can use them on dad.
The trial…
Easy to get on. Plugged the mains cable into the controller then plugged the cables from the boots into the same controller. The cables have ‘UP’ written on the end of the cables so you know which way to plug them in, they can only go one way so you can’t get it wrong.
Getting to grips with the controls is simple. 3 modes.
* Sequence – The airbags in the feet and ankles inflate and compress first then deflate, followed by the calf inflating ( this is quite some pressure, uncomfortable, perhaps I need to loosen the Velcro) deflates, then thigh inflated and deflates before going back to start the cycle again after the 6th time it moves air more quickly between the airbags in the feet/ ankles, calves and thighs. This feels good. The best bit of the cycle, feels like a massage.
* Circulation – Starts off with the feet and ankle inflating, keeping inflated and holding the pressure while inflating the calf and then holding the pressure while inflating the thigh bladder before deflating, keeping a little pressure around the feet, it then starts the cycle again.
*Whole – The whole boot being inflated at once, then deflating
There are 3 intensity settings, min, mid, max, I can only cope with minimum.
They can compress legs tightly. Didn’t know what to expect so it was a bit scary when the boots started to inflate, getting tighter and tighter with more pressure, thought they weren’t going to stop, felt like it was cutting off my circulation, really is a considerable amount of pressure before it releases. I made the mistake of doing up the boots too tightly at first but if they’re loosened off slightly it makes for a more comfortable massage. It is best to play around until the pressure is comfortable. Also, once I worked out how they inflated, I adjusted the boot slightly so the pressure was even around the back of my calf. Once I had set them up and loosened them off it was really relaxing and actually felt good.
*Before using on someone else, especially if the person you’re putting them on can’t communicate easily, make sure you’ve worn them yourself first to understand the pressure. It can be uncomfortable.
Finally there is an automatic cut off after 20 minutes, so they’re safe to leave on a patient or yourself and the fall asleep. They’re so relaxing I can’t help turning them back on and starting again.
We tried out the QUINEAR Air Compression Leg Massager with thigh massager and they’ve worked really well.
The leg massagers come in a big box that houses the wraps that go around your legs and feet, the power supply. remote, a bag to keep everything in, a couple of extensions for larger legs and the instructions.
Thankfully, the instructions are brief and easy to follow with pictures showing just how to wrap the leg wraps around you. It’s fairly easy to work out, anyway, you simply put these over thighs and legs, with your feet in the foot area, fold the right side over then the left on the thighs, legs then the feet, but leave a gap because otherwise it will be too tight when the bags inside fill with air. Plug in the power to the controller and the two air hoses, it’s easy to find out which way they go because they have lines to show you. Then press power on and it starts.
The initial setting will be the lowest power by default. Pressing the pressure or circulation type buttons will change the settings. The initial lowest pressure was fairly nice, though it needed to go to the second to make a real difference. The massage mode button allows you to choose from circulation boosting or massage but I’d certainly recommend the circulation mode as this made the biggest difference.
After using these over the week, I’ve noticed my legs getting better circulation and my wife finds her legs feel less achy after using these in the circulation mode. It will be interesting to see if they are as good over time but so far we’re both impressed with how much better this makes our legs feel.
These ones have the 3 air bags on each leg to cover the upper legs/thighs, while the other model does heat instead, so it’s a trade off. I like the heat ones best for winter but the upper thighs are useful for my wife who finds this is where she gets some leg pain, so these work better for her. My family is all taking turns in using these and the heat ones now, so they’re a big hit in our house during the winter.
Easy to use. I don’t find it heats up as much as I expected, but really does give a great massage and eases pain. I use it pretty regularly and can feel the benefits. Helps reduce the swelling in my ankles and restless leg syndrome aches. Also good for my swollen knees and joint pain caused by arthritis. i like that you have different options to choose from which focuses on different areas dependent on need. Recommended.
Absolutely worth every penny
These are great
My hubby is a bus driver and he works long hour up to 12 hours a day
All day without moving his legs a lot they get very tired and they stay cold because the blood doesn’t move a lot
As soon as he comes home he uses this air compressor leg massage and it does relax your legs even better than a real massage
It is comfortable too and very easy to use
Air Compression Leg Massager for Boosts Circulation, Leg Compression for Foot Calf and Thigh Massage with 3 Modes 3 Intensities for Muscles Relaxation, RLS, Lymphedema, Edema, Diabetes
Good things –
1. Very easy to use and goes up to the thigh
2. Gives a good massage for a home massage machine
3. Has a remote that allows you to easily manage the setting/pressure, etc that you want
Things to note –
1. The material is basically the waterproof/plastic-y type. It’s not rough against the skin but it can get very sweaty easily. This would probably be the case with any of these home devices though so it not specific to this one
2. You need to be near a power socket to use this
3. This one doesn’t have the heat setting
It’s difficult being stuck indoors for long periods of time, But some of us have ongoing health issues that unfortunately effect our day-to-day quality of life. This automatic leg massager is ideal to keep blood flowing through the legs during times of recouperation from sickness, As it can solve the problem of keeping away blood clots and aching muscles from prolonged periods of time in one place.
The massager helps with circulation and massages with pressure the foot, Calf and thigh areas of the legs to stave away further health issues. I would recommend this to help with long term recovery in a familiar place at home.
I bought it for my son who had MD and he feels quite relaxed in his legs after using it twice a day so overall would recommend this produc
So after having purchased something similar for myself to use after post-gym workouts, I got this for a family member who has knee and leg pains and also has water retention (due to a lack of mobility). Now that they’ve been using this for a few days, water retention seems to have reduced. These massage function has really helped with this and the warming affect means that they’re no longer always putting the heating on. This is perfect for their needs — highly recommended.
5 Star review on this product. From the start visible reduction of swollen legs were apparent. Was sceptical about the claims. Not any more incredible results.
My wife took up running nearly two years ago and used a small massager after every run. She wore it out in about a year and has been making to with a foam roller ever since. So this is a replacement for the original. It’s a step up though as it massages both legs at the same time, and can work on both the lower and upper legs at once. She’s only used it on level one so far, which she tells me is perfectly fine for runners legs. It works by pumping air into bladders which are wrapped around the legs, and can alternate, increasing and reducing pressure to simulate a kneading motion.
I’ve been surprised at just how much she uses them. They turn off automatically after 20 minutes, but can be turned on again immediately. There’s a warning about checking in case the controller gets too warm, but even after an hour constant use it’s still cool to the touch.
A sure fire hit for the runner.
I couldn’t wait to try this, I am diabetic and suffer with night cramps in my right leg. Doesn’t sound like much but they happen 4 or 5 times over the sleep period and are incredibly painful. Nothing I have tried has worked and I put it down to something I was going to have to just deal with because it is related to reduced circulation and nerve damage. This is compounded by having a sedentary job that runs on 12 Hour shifts and sitting in a chair for that length of time with only brief breaks can’t help.
I tried this unit as soon as it was delivered as I was excited to get it. Comes in a small white box with everything neatly packed to minimise space. The legs are labelled Left and Right at the top of the thigh piece and are easy to put on, the velcro is a little noisy and is one of those noises that sets my teeth on edge but hey ho. There is one large velcro fastener on the foot piece, two on the calf and two on the thigh – the thigh pieces are curved at one side to ensure a good fit. There are also two extenders provided for the calf pieces. I found it took a bit of trial and error to get my feet placed correctly within the pieces and had to adjust my left foot during operation as it burst the velcro open when I stepped up to Level 2. Once you have your feet and legs strapped in you need to attach the controller to the power supply (the power unit has an impressive 9ft cable so you don’t have to sit close to a power outlet) and then fix the air hoses. The hoses have an UP marking on one side so it is easy to get them seated correctly in to the unit (although I did manage to do the “USB thing” with the second hose). Removing them is easy too, no force is needed to insert or remove which I wasn’t expecting. Then simply turn the handset on with the big button at the top, the second button lets you choose one of three settings (explained in the accompanying manual) and then the third is to select the intensity.
One thing I wanted to know but wasn’t addresses in the reviews I read was whether I could put these on over clothing; well, I put them on over my jeans and thermal socks and they worked just fine. 10 minutes on Circulation, Level 1 and then 10 minutes on Level 2. I sat and read whilst the unit was on and although the air pump makes an appreciable noise it isn’t that loud – certainly not loud enough to wake a napping husband.
This felt SO good. At first it was a little strange like having your blood pressure taken from the feet upwards. After a couple of cycles I could feel myself relaxing and enjoying the sensation. On the Circulation setting it occasionally does a little pulse of the air which was blissful. 20 minutes sped past and I was tempted to cycle them through again but resisted. The first thing I noticed when I took the leg pieces off was my feet felt warm, something I’m not used too (hence thermal socks and faux-fur lined slippers) so it definitely did something for my circulation on a temporary basis. Everything packs in to a small nylon bag (the feet fold in to the calf pieces and you then wrap the thigh pieces around and secure with the velcro) that is small enough to pack in to your case if going away – great idea and means it doesn’t take up much room.
A couple of hours later I had a bit of twitching in my right leg (normal for me) so thought that just one use clearly wouldn’t make a difference. Went to bed at 10pm and woke up at 6:30 this morning after only getting up once during the night for a “call of nature”. I can scarcely believe that I had one of the best night’s sleep I have had in over a year and no cramp at all. This could just be a coincidence but I am hopeful this unit could be the answer to getting some restful sleep again. I am particularly looking forward to trying it when I get in from my shifts next week (working Monday to Thursday 7pm to 7am) as the cramps are worse after work.
This morning I have noticed some soreness in my upper thighs but I think I may have fastened the leg pieces too tight which would likely account for this.
I also need to convince my husband to give it a go. He has leg edema and the intravenous diuretics he was given in hospital did their job but he doesn’t have a regular prescription and after a week it was back. I have shown him other reviewer’s testimonials saying what a difference it has made to their situation so hopefully it will help him.
Right now I am beyond thrilled with this unit and if I had known how good it would feel when using it and how (maybe just coincidence) effective it would be from one use then I would have definitely purchased one when I first stumbled across the listing.
This is a good massager, very easy and straightforward to start and put it on. Looks strange on legs but feels comfortable. Massaging program is 20 min after that will switch off automatically (you can switch on again manually). Has 3 different massaging programs (sequence, circulation, whole) also 3 different strength levels (min, mid, max) I suggest you start from minimum level also make sure that you do not wear it too tight (pressure will pomp in and if they are too tight it might hurt). My favourite one is circulation program. This relax your legs and improve blood flow.
Good quality product however I feel like it could be cheaper.
Easy to use, great for massage. It has 3 massage modes and 3 intensities.really helps my sore muscles. I can take it with me to use after long exercise.
I really like shopping, and occasionally I run and ride my bike in the morning. I’ve been looking for something to help relax my leg muscles post running/bike ride. I bought this leg massager, which gave me the perfect massage experience as I imagined. I’ve been using it every night since it arrived. Also I let my father try the massager out a few days ago, and he loved it very much. He’s been suffering from lymphedema in his calves, which is very painful. He used to knead his calves every day for dozens of minutes to relieve pain. Using this leg massager, he doesn’t need to spend ages kneading his calves anymore and more importantly his pain seems to get better after use.
Item purchased and being trialed to improve leg mobility and dexterity following on from sports injury. Item supplements ongoing physio and acupuncture. So versatile an item as using in own home and privacy. Used since delivery – 1 week and not disappointed. 3 settings of utility from min-max (3 options on how intense the massager will operate (duration 20mins/item stops). Use daily if need be and what a difference this item has made to my legs feeling more fluid and good to go for more classes, walks etc. A wee investment and delighted with product.
Really well thought out have actually fallen asleep with these on and good quality had them for a little while now and they work great.
