Bought this as tried all humane menthods.
Added a few packs around where we were finding the droppings and within 2 days. There was blue poo then day 3 found the dead mice.

I don’t know what they cover the poison with but to begin with it actually increased the number of rats as they couldn’t get enough of it but just like crack heads they didn’t know when to stop and eventually all died away

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersHighly recommended but be patient. Spotted rat as big as a small cat dissappear under the garden shed. I’ve successfully used these before so was quite confident that they’d do the trick. It’s claimed that a single pack delivers a lethal dose but I dropped one of these unopened little packets at the entrance to his run each morning. Ratty took each one for six days but day seven’s drop lay untouched for a about a week so … job done. Left the untouched packs in a covered trap in the run just in case his mates decide to move in.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAfter 3 complete packs of rat kill our rat is still around digging holes. Two sachets in the morning and two sachets in the evening, when I check all poison gone and another hole dug. I’m going to try the blocks next maybe this time he may collect them to build a house

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersAs a product I found that this did exactly what it was intended to. The small infestation of rats – parent & six offspring – in my garden appeared unexpectedly & needed to be dealt with. The sachets of impregnated grain disappeared rapidly when I put them out in a section of plastic bottle. Over a couple of days sightings of the rats were fewer. Job done, I thought, good swift job. But then a dying rat appeared on the path. Thankfully I am not particularly squeamish, but the fact that it took several hours to expire made me realise that this wasn’t the quick clean kill I was expecting. The product is an anticoagulant, rather than a poison, so the rodents die from internal bleeding. Quite drawn out & unpleasant I imagine. A second rat, days later, was found in the same condition which prompted me to finish it of by other means. So, yes, the product does as it’s intended, but should I encounter the problem again I think I’ll be using a good strong trap for a more humane way of dealing with the rodents.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI had a big rat in my garden that scurried behind the shed and under the fence. I then used a bag of postcrete to fill in the hole and lay a strip of concrete along the bottom of the fence line. Since then, a hole emerged in the concrete and 2 small rats appeared in the garden! So i think I’ve inadvertently built them a porch there. So i reluctantly reverted to poison :(. The first sachet got taken 2 days later. I then found 1 dead rat 2 further days later. I put another sachet down and then another. They definitely get taken. But so far i found just 1 dead rat. So the product either works perfectly on them, maybe in their nests, or I’m acting as some sort of uber eats for them, delivering to the porch ive made for their den. Im just happy they are getting taken away and have faith in the poison. I haven’t seen any live ones since i started.

This seems to be a good quality product. I was happy with the price. Easy to use as comes portioned into small sachets. I didn’t get close enough to smell the product I would recommend using protective equipment when handelling, however there was no obvious smell. The package arrived on time. Overall I am happy with the service.

We had a massive rat (s?) in our garage – attacking the box with dogs food. This poison sachets worked over 3 days. A third sachet is still in the garage untouched but we thought we’ll leave it there for a bit longer in case more visitors get in.

Use it in the garage and attic. Previous stuff bought from B&Q took 4 and 5 doses before the mice stopped. This one took one try and it was a week before they touched it again. Then, only half was taken and nothing since. I bought a second lot just in case, but I haven’t even had to open it yet.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI’m not sure if this poison was killing the rat but it sure did love the taste I had previously brought some traps but couldn’t get the rat to take the bait until I brought this product. At first I was setting it out where I knew he was coming in and then as if by magic the whole lot had gone I did this with 3 whole bags within 2 days. I then had the idea to use the poison as bait in the trap which he still couldn’t resist and I woke up to a fury friend no longer with us. So 4 stars because it helped me to get the result I wanted but not 5 because I’m not sure if it was doing what it said on the ti

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis being a vermin poison, does not kill instantly, (unlike traps) so I would not recommend its use indoors. If using outdoors it will need protection from the weather, so I use an old sandwich box (with lid) and a large hole in each of two sides. This keeps the bait dry and hides it from the birds. The bait is very easy to use, and easy to replace once eaten.

4.0 out of 5 stars Rats hate this stuff

Had a few droppings in our loft and a couple of sightings on our cctv so we purchased this and haven’t seen any more droppings or rats since putting it around the property.

To call out a local pest control it would have been almost 200 after an inspection, poison and/or traps so it’s safe to say this is probably the cheaper option. Not necessarily the best option but it worked for us.

I left 3 bags in the loft, and all of them have been eaten. I don’t hear anymore noises, but I was not able to locate a body. I would say this is effective.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI literally watched the two rats in our garden taking whole sachets of this back to their nest in the undergrowth. They really seemed to like it and came back for more. It did take six sachets and 10 days before they died though (I found the bodies on the decking). Possibly they had an additional source of food hence why it took a while for them to ingest the effective dose. Still, it worked and I haven’t seen any other rat activity since.

My main issue is mice in the house. I get rats in the garden from time to time and this was effective once with the rats. However, the “ruby bait” from the same company is sought out by the mice. Even in an unopened packet left in the cupboard, they will chew through the wall and the cupboard and then the packet to get the ruby stuff even when this blue version has been left out for them. When this blue / sapphire stuff is left out for them, they don’t seem to eat it at all. I think the rats might prefer the blue, but the red one is irresistible to the mice. However this time, I might have mice this time who are resistant to the red one, so I am going to use it as bait in traps.

I positioned these sachets of rat bait around the perimeter of my gargen and under the summer house and all bags had been taken. Therefore I made a second purchase. Only a few from the second batch still remain. Although i did not find any evidence of any dead rats, my neighbour did. Hopefully, this bait has done the trick and eradicate the infestation. At the same time, I also had traps set and these caught three juvenile rats. I would definitely recommend this product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNoticed a mice do a runner across our lawn and my dogs sniffing at bottom of my shed.

Put a bag at bottom of garden and gone in 30 minutes during daylight.

Further 3 bags whipped away but fourth bag untouched .

No more flybys . Highly reccomended, please wear gloves and keep away from your pets
