great mic. price isnt the lowest, but it lives up to it.
I bought this to use for my dance sessions. Overall I am happy with it, but since I’m not the most technologically savvy I had to YouTube how to set it up. I thought maybe I could hear my students even with this plugged in, but it’s only a one way (output) sound device. I will need to update review once I can hear the sound of it on one of my dance videos.
Soy profesional del video. Llevo 28 aos grabando bodas (entre otras cosas), y el audio siempre lo he mimado en la medida de lo posible. He grabado el sonido usando grabadoras de audio porttIles, como ZOOM H1, TASCAM DR5, adems de usar otros ihalmbricos como RODELINK FILMAKER.
Me compr estos pequeines… y son gloria bendita.
Comparados con su hermano “mayor” (por el tamao, no por otra cosa), pues dir que la calidad es muy similar, si no, igual… pero la manejabilidad, puesta en marcha, el GO le gana por goleada… Adems de otras ventajas con respecto a RODELINK, es, sin duda la capacidad de tener una copia de seguridad en el EMISOR. Si pierdes seal por alguna razon (cosa que an no me ha ocurrido), tienes una copia del sonido en formato propio (despus puedes exportar usando software de la casa) en el mismo emisor.
No tienes por qu usar micro lavarlier (aunque puedes, claro), tiene un alcance de 200 metros, lo pequeos que son… vamos ideal para mi trabajo.
Los RODELINK son buenos, pero estos, les gana por mucho en todos los sentidos.

A good way to capture sound at different camera angle
I am a teacher who has students in my classroom and in Zoom at the same time and this microphone works exceptionally well. My only wish is that I purchased the product that came with two… and that the two were not so expensive. Well worth the money for no fuss.

This is an expensive bit of kit but I have tried cheaper ones and ended up sending them back. This one is a keeper for me. Shame a lav mic is not included.
I have a GoPro 9 and when using it – the device was recording by breath. I have since purchased the Rode system. I am still working on placement and configuration. I had the microphones in front and it too picked up my breath. More configuration to go.
I bought this for recording wedding speeches when the venue supplies a PA. It’s easy for the speaker to transfer the mic/tx to the next person compared to lavalier with wires, and works better than a table mic when they are using a PA. My only issue is that I bought a single mic version, and Rode don’t sell the additional mic separately, so if you think you might want two mics, get the dual system.
Great quality mic with no sign of latency on wireless tech.
If you like I did, I bought this system as a sole unit, to make sure I liked it. I liked it so I wanted to expand it to the two system. You have to contact RODE directly thru their contact us part on their website. A sales person in LA will take your order directly. Tell them you need a single RODE Wireless 2 transmitter and they will email you an order form. You have to fill out the order form and email it to them. They will then send you the order form.
I did this process, once I received the order I had to sync them, the two unit system comes pre-synced.
Otherwise, this is a great system that I will get a lot of use out of, using on Canon EOS R and M50 for professional videography and film making.
Sencillamente es el mejor sistema de micrfonos inalmbricos ya he revisado varios en mi canal de youtube pero ahora entiendo porque el precio de los micrfonos rde; la tecnologa que estos dispositivos tienen es nica la calidad del audio es muy superior.

Using with my GoPro and a Smalrigh cage, the mic is super easy to setup and use.
I am very satisfied with Rode go 2. The packing was perfect and reached me in good condition. I used a youtube video to understand its installation and use, and within 10mins i was good to go.
The pouch whuch comes with the product is just eniugh for the transmitter and receiver. I wish they had given a bigger pouch or additional pouch for the cables.
