Works perfect. I found that if you unwind the hose before you start your installation it makes it a lot easier to handle and not as heavy.
Unit installed in a residential home with lite use. Stopped fully retracting a month after warranty expired. Called customer service and Fabian was great and agreed to replace it despite being a month out of warranty.
Solid reel, if only all we built this way. Shop quality type of reel and hose. Met my expectations and would buy again.
More than enough hose on the real, works excellent and is as good as any you find in local auto stores!

Bought this for reeling pressure washer hose onto. Very well made and sturdy. Air hose looks decent as well.
Absolutely love this product. No more tangled up air hose on the shop floor! I installed this in the ceiling of the garage. It has 4 snag rollers so you can pull and retract the hose in any direction in the shop. I noticed some of the other hose reels I reviewed only have 2.
Its a bit heavy with the hose reeled on it so the best way to install it is to un-reel the hose which makes it considerably lighter and you can install with no problem. I did go buy some shorter lag screws than provided because they where way too long.
Its a heavy duty product and I would highly recommend it.
Unfortunately like others I had to go to Home Depot to get a 3/8 NPT fitting for the hose to fit my compressor.
I have been wanting to install a hose reel for way too long. Been using the hose wrapped up on the floor or draped over other equipment. Finally doing to clean up of the garage and decided to splurge on a reel. Read all the reviews and it seemed like ReelWorks consistently received good reviews. Have not been disappointed. It is very well made and heavy duty. It is a 3/8-inch hose with 3/8-inch fittings. My old one was 3/8-inch with 1/4-inch fittings. A figured I would need to adapt something. But, it came with the correct 3/8-inch fittings and a standard 1/4-inch size connector. Everything worked as received. I added one close nipple to orient the hose into the reel properly and it was then good to go.
Much needed for garage, great for the price, this one works really well.

Retractable mechanism works great. Hose is very flexible and does not leak at any of the fittings. The most crucial fitting is the one that swivels as the reel rotates.
For everyone complaining about the fitting sizes. PLEASE learn about NPT before buying the product.
As a general rule, 1/4″ NPT fittings are about 1/4″ LARGER in outside diameter when measuring the threaded part. So if you are measuring about 1/2″, guess what? You have 1/4″ NPT. For the guy who posted a picture measuring 5/8″? GUESS WHAT, you have 3/8″ NPT.

ALSO, the L815153HA comes with 3/8″ NPT fittings, and the L815153A comes with 1/4″ NPT fittings.
MAKE SURE YOU ARE ORDERING THE CORRECT MODEL. DO YOUR RESEARCH.
TO THE SELLER: PLEASE make it clearer what the difference between the two models is, because people are clearly confused. The fitting size should be one of the FIRST bullet points in the product description. It would probably help to educate people about NPT as well.

Replaced an old hose reel at work and it seems to be much better than it’s predecessor.
Would be nice if they provided reducing fitting for the hookup points.
Also stop points on the hose are to far spaced. Other than that it is a sturdy unit and so far works fine

I’ve had my air hose and reel installed for about a week and so far I like it very much. The mechanics are tight and sturdy and the hose is top-notch. The only problem as someone else stated the fittings were 3/8 not instead of 1/4 npt. This is not a huge issue as adapters are available. As I didn’t have one on hand I called customer service to see if they would send me one. Let me tell you that these people are serious about customer satisfaction. The fella I talked to went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Way to go Reel Works, you get my business.
I installed this in my garage for weekend maintenance work. Mounted it on the ceiling between the cars and plumbed it into a storage area where my compressor can be out of the way. Works great, no issues.
Perfectly good real, we use it all the time for our business. Mostly for inflating tires. Pretty sure this is built in the same factory as some other brands and they just put different logos on it. But this was the best price by a long shot.
Excellent product. Why have I waited so long to get one of these? Super convenient. Much easier than rolling a hose up, or it being laying around.
