Brilliant for keeping kittens in one area, then easy to move when they can have a bigger space.
This stair gate is very easy to install with only a few tools, and simple instructions. Once in place it’s easy to use, and when not in use there is no bar across the bottom like with many stair gates, this makes going up and down the stairs so much easier and comfortable.
Good gate, easy to install and works well. My 10month old did figure out how to undo it but I swapped the holders another way and now she can’t figure it!

With two bouncy cockapoos, I had slight doubts about the durability, but it’s great, and so far has proved to be worthy of the purchase. Looks great too.
I have had previous gates for babies but this is the newer version. Baby can’t see through it fully unfortunately but otherwise I like this better than old versions. I like the retractable side of it.

It’s just more pleasing than the metal gates. We use ours to stop the dogs going upstairs and entering ‘the cats domain’.
A great product and easy to install.
Having had hard gates fitted before, with another baby just starting to crawl we came across this retractable gate. We have installed this in our hallway and being a busy area of the house the hard gate was always a issue when we had guests over to ask them to squeeze past it. Carrying anything bulky either required removing the gate or someone’s help to lift it high enough to pass over it. With the retractable gate, its essentially the same as not having a gate when its closed. So when we know that we don’t need it we retract it and don’t have to worry about awkwardly going through it. Overall, this is super convenient for adults and safe enough to keep the young ones out of any place in the house that you don’t want them to go to.
Our old stair gate was well used and not very reliable, so purchased this different type of wide stair gate as a replacement. It was easy to fit following the great instructions supplied and is easy to use as it does not require complete removal when not required. A great and easy upgrade from the previous metal gate we had.
Looks good and prevents you having a gate which swings into the room and gets in the way. Works well, and it’s sturdy when closed and locked.
I’m really impressed with this, and I reckon that it offers a good value for the money paid.

Ich bin positiv berrascht von der Qualitt des Trchens. Es ist sehr stabil, der Stoff fest und gut verarbeitet und auch die Halterungen sind stabil. Es wurde an alles gedacht was man zur Montage bentigt . Auch die Sperre ist einfach klasse- somit ist unsere Treppe zuverlssig abgesichert ohne groen Aufwand
Den Aufbau habe ich mir etwas schwer vorgestellt, aber es war ganz das Gegenteil. Es kam ein groes langes Paket, bei dem das Gitter schon komplett zusammengebaut ist. Nun konnte ich mit der leicht verstndlichen Anleitung die Seitenteile an der Tr montieren und es funktioniert einwandfrei. Es gibt kein Ruckeln oder Reien bei dem Einrollen. Das geht ganz geschmeidig. Viel besser als erwartet.

Very reasonable price for one gate as you can transfer it from one place to another. There is two set of wall mount hardware so you can install it downstairs and upstairs.
We are pleased with it so far.
This is good for kids from 0-18 months. Best part is the extendable length which allows you to use it in different places such as stairs and front or back door. It is sturdy but not as turdy as a bar gate. Overall a good product.
Despite being light weight I was impressed with how sturdy it is. The dog as tried to barge it over a few times and we haven’t had any issues with it at all.
For the price I am extremely happy with it and will probably re-gift it when our son has Grandchildren to save him buying one.

I needed a separation gate as iv got a new puppy and toddler and needed the ability to leave them in certain places the design of this being retractable was the perfect option. It was so easy to install and the way it just pulls across and locks into position is effortless. Also realy handy that is to easy to wipe clean.

This product can be used for multiple purpose, so much useful. I have a triangle corner on top of my shelf, it’s so hard to find the exactly right shape to fit it, I used this barrier gate, it works perfectly, now I can storage more things and get them covered. Also it’s wider enough, you don’t worried it will get broken if too tight. Really helpful would recommend it!

Wide fixing brackets meant I had to add a strip of wood to stair post, also the screen does not fully retract and has to be completed manually
This is a thick retractable baby gate thats a little bit like a roller blind thats vertical, but much stronger. It locks into place with a simple twist of a knob. Fits gaps up to 6ft wide.

This gate is retractable and winds up inside itself. Unlike the old gates that swing open, and have metal bars this is a fabric much like a roller blind, and extends to a post and latches to it. The fabric is quite tough. I was skeptical that a baby could just fall into and over it but now it’s mounted I very much doubt that.
The roller mechanism is good, sometimes it sticks if you let it go too quickly. It’s very neat when retracted which is the main selling point for me. But it also takes up no room intront of the stairs or doorway, this would be great for tight spaces as it doesn’t swing open.
The install was straight forward. It’s a bit more permanent than the type that unscrew and pressure fit between the door frame or banister. this mounts using hardware with screws. Keep this in kind if you’ve a particularly fancy or nice frame or stair way.
I think it’s a great idea and I like it. The install is why I’ve dropped it a star as I can imagine many single parents wouldn’t feel comfortable with it.

I happen to see it as I was going through gifts to give babies. Initially it didn’t catch my eyes and I kept ignoring and then after couple of pages, this particular item came up with picture demonstrating that this is a retractable gate type item. After looking deep in on how the item works, I found the description to be very elaborate. A lot of times I bought items that sounded as great idea without reading the full instructions and was disappointed. Since then I look to read how the item will work and look for photos to demo how the item needs to be installed. This one had really good description and pictures. It was clear to me that I need to screw in the holder clips in one end and the retractable gate part on another end. It didn’t matter it was evenly horizontal to the mm. Comparing this to the alternative traditional gates for babies where you have to find the right size down to mm. Or else the door will either not close or it will be so weakly locked that babies can open making them risky. This item clearly is not like that. any space within the length of the gate will suffice without having to ponder too much on the measurement. Glad to have bought this. Fell free to buy one and try out. Buying it from Amazon means I can have peace of mind if the item is not fit for purpose or has durability issues. So far really glad and so my recommendation to anyone looking will be to buy in peace.
