Love it so much I bought one for each guitar in the house.
Great guitar stand; hard to color match to the guitar online, but got close enough with the wood that it looks okay
The guitar stand is sturdy and easy to assemble. It is a much nicer complement to my semihollow guitar than a metal guitar stand.
I wanted a nice looking guitar stand for the living room. I wouldn’t use it for stage, etc., but it works great and looks elegant.
Simple design, simple assembly, holds most guitars fine, not so good for Telecaster type guitars.
This is a lovely stand, well made and easy to assemble. I’ve got quite a few guitar stands and this one is my favourite, it is a perfect stand for my Taylor GS-mini (Koa) – a near perfect match colourwise.
If you are like me, you like to have your guitar out of the case and in a nice stand for easy access and playing. There is no question that this simple move (getting the guitar out of the case and into your hands on a more regular basis) will improve your playing. I’ve tried a couple of different stands and one recent floor model actually seems to have left some marks in the finish on the back of a very nice Martin. You want something that protects the guitar and looks as good as a nice piece of furniture. So what to do, right? Order a Rauch.
It came nicely packed, in speedy time (although I kept missing the Fedex driver and had to drive to the local depot), in good condition and easy to assemble in 2 steps (Step one – secure the base to the vertical stand with two supplied Phillips head screws and Step two – screw in the actual guitar holder “wishbone” to the top of the stand…). It’s walnut matches a recent interior renovation so it fits right in.
Some people remarked on a FB page as to “how could you justify paying $250 for a guitar stand” etc… and I had to remind them that some guitars are worth thousands of dollars (mine) and even $100,000, so why would you cheap out on a nice stand IF you had the money?
The only reason I dropped down to 4-stars is that it was a surprise to me that I had to pay an additional $68 of taxes when I pick it up. No big deal, I just hate surprises, right?
The bottom line is – would I buy it again? Yes, no question.
Stylish and beautiful alone would not be good enough for a guitar stand, but this one is stable and secure as well. A gift for my son-in-law, who likes it almost as much as his guitar.
Love these stands. I now have three. Their undoubted elegance complements my guitars perfectly.
So excited to receive this organic wood guitar stand. Purchased in walnut, cool silhouette with clean lines, deep brown and fine smooth finish, organic. Includes rubber bottom protectors to protect your floors. Screws included, but when attaching the base to the column, I found the screw holes were not straight causing the screws to enter at an angle. Once attached the column leans slightly to one side. Do not want to try to fix the screw holes so will adjust the angle by shaving the rubber bottom protectors on the high side. It is a slight lean so it won’t be very noticeable, but for the price, two pieces of wood, I was expecting perfection. Have several guitars, may have to go another direction, afraid the heavier electrics may fall.
I only just received the stand but it was easy to set up, seems sturdy and looks great.
