Ideal for small kitche
My microwave packed up and have slow heating oven so decided to invest in combo and what a pleasure to use just read your instructions and you’ll be enjoying cooking again.
Even better if you bake and get distracted the oven switches off so it’s definitely hard to burn anything hehehe

This looked like a great microwave on paper, and, mostly held up the promise.
It is easy to use, even though I don’t regularly use all of the available functions, they are a nice to have.
The design is, however, quite poor;
There is too much condensation build up and an exhaust fan should have been built in to dry it out.
The light is insuffucient to clearly see what is going on in the microwave while it is working – it should be at least twice as bright.
There are too many too loud beeps!!!! you can’t even stop them once they start by opening the door!!!
You will get 5 beeps every time a process completes – even a 30 second warm up will end in 5 beeps.
You will get a beep every time you press a button!!!
All of these design faults seem minor in themselves, but they occur every single day with every single use of the product and the are very and inceasingly annoying to the extent that if I could I would return the item.
It has a good amount of cooking and reheating power.
It preformed well but you have got to know the controls. The convection part of handy but it can be tricky to clean. I prefer using an oven better, but it’s ok..
Straightforward
Bought to replace 27L 1000W Panasonic Combi which, after just 18 months, cut out with a strong smell of burning and ‘scorch’ marks round door latches. Decided on this Russell Hobbs as it is similar to one we had previously, with heater in the rear (as opposed to Panasonics above).The interior quality is superb and cleans well. Exterior metal had a small dent in it and sounds “tinny” when view through the door is inadequate if monitoring how brown a dish is. Easy set up to start cooking, once I remembered to select ‘confirm’ after every instruction. The +30 second button is a good feature. BUT who on earth decided 5 beeps should signal time’s up, when 2 would suffice. If I’m fast enough I can wizz the door open 2 seconds early to avoid this annoyance

It took a lot of looking to get a microwave with steel interior. It seems people favour the enamel ones like the ovens. We have that in our oven and it’s easy to clean but we love stainless steel. Yes can look streaky when cleaned but still *

Not really a mirror but like a mirror effect without being a mirror. Shows the streaks also but looks ok. Would have preferred block colour but again limited due to interior and was not gonna pay a zooped up price for a microwave with all bells and whistles

Great but bulky and flimsy buttons
It’s good, powerful and quiet, but the bulk at the back of it, means it doesn’t sit flush to any surface, and the buttons whej you press them feel, loose and cheap
Nice looking microwave
I bought this as my old combi microwave stopped working well the combi bit anyway unfortunately it was cheaper to buy a new one than get it fixed this isn’t as powerful but it does the job ok I’m sure it’ll be great once I get used to judging the browning times but other than that it looks fantastic has a large capacity and the operating is very clear and easy to understand with the on display visuals (much better than my old one)

But, the timed cooking and opening the door to check food while cooking it can be a simple workaround if a customer is concerned about seeing the food clearly while cooking.
On the other hand, the product is suitable for small cooking and large food like big pizza because the inside is very roomy (lots of space with the 31.5 cm turntable glass plate) and it still cooks really fast. The power settings can be adjusted if you want to cook your food slowly, but I am happy with the default fast cooking.
Overall, this product is versatile and awesome!

This is a replacement, for my old Russell Hobbs same model, I could not imagine life in the kitchen without it, my old one served me well with daily use for 8 to 10 years, it’s not too fancy but does everything you could possibly want, it has made my main oven redundant, as I never need to use it, I would recommend this product to anyone

It has a separate timer which is pointless for me. I thought it was a timer to start cooking which would have been more useful.

Stylish microwave
Very pleased with this replacement for my previous convection/microwave oven. I had been concerned that the jacket potatoes would not be as good but need not have worried the microwave/grill gives a very nice result.
There are many combinations of cooking which at first I needed to check in the instruction booklet but soon become familiar. The instruction booklet is quite comprehensive but would benefit from a little more information on different dishes. I was unsure about the black finish but it looks very stylish and I don’t find the mirrored door a problem, so long a you remember to use the handle and not put fingeprints etc. on the door. On some occassions it is a little difficult to see the food in the oven but I don’t find this a problem. Overall, the pros far outway the cons.

Required to replace my convection microwave, my other had a broken door after 7yrs not cost effective to repair.
I wanted one that you could cook a forerib of beef, with a minimum of 3 rib. Not that easy finding one with enough height.
But this fitted the bill.
So let’s get the ‘bad’ points out of the way first.
It is big. BIG. Remember when you measure it for that nice space in your kitchen, just fits right? Hmmm, maybe not. Remember to add 7.5cm on all sides of the unit, that’s what the book advises.
You ain’t seeing much through that door, unless your eyeline is level with it, even then, hmmm, not great. Whilst the mirrored door looks fantastic in your kitchen, it doesn’t half cause issues seeing in.
It’s going to take time to get used to those controls. But stick with it.
Wish it had a metal plate at the bottom. Instead of a glass one, but you can get a metal one easily enough.
Now the good.
Looks, well it not only looks the part, it is very well constructed. That door is solid. Those buttons were thought about. They actually work. As does the jogger at the bottom.
The Fan actually does its job, right up to 220. Cooks Fairy Cakes just perfectly.
Warms up last nights pizza to perfection.
You are in charge of how the combination works. You decide.
Easy to clean inside, maybe because it’s the size of a small garage, so plenty of space to get your hand in.
It is QUIET real quiet. No clunking sound as the plate goes round.
A little tip from me, if you wish to have a microwave oven that lasts, leave door open after cooking, helps let moisture vent. Hardly ever cook on 100% normally 80% is plenty.
Once a week cut a lemon in half stab all over with a fork, bit of salt, then ‘cook’ for a few minutes on 60%. Keeps your machine smelling great, good for cleaning as well.

Good value, very large microwave
This microwave is very large and we only use it for the microwave element. The machine is quite light for it’s size which doesn’t give a quality feel, but saves your worktop. It works well and has a large area for putting in a big plate or several jacket potatoes. It is a powerful microwave, but still takes a while to cook large potatoes and a lot of dripping, condensation is created inside the machine. This quickly disappears, but isn’t so appetising to see! Also, it needs wiping down after each use, but this is easier than in most microwaves, as it’s large. Nice looking on the outside and the food can be seen quite well while cooking.

Looks amazing, very powerful, easy to use and clean. It’s very large which is what I wanted, so i can easy fit various containers/packets in there. I’ve not actually used the combi part yet but very happy with the overall microwave.

Love this microwave/oven. It is larger than I expected however it exudes quality and looks amazing in my new kitchen!
I’m really impressed with this microwave. I spent ages looking a different ones but in the end I chose this one. It’s quite quiet when it’s on microwave or convection and is very efficient. I haven’t had one with the dial before and I was quite dubious about it but it’s actually really easy to use. The interior light in the unit is very bright and makes it so easy to see the food inside it. It comes with the glass plate, the oven rack, an oven tray and an excellent instruction book (although I do find it very easy to use). For the cost of it I believe its excellent value for money. All in all a great buy and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

Micro, grill and oven work as i hoped they would.
Condensation that others complain about is there, but i find it is a good thing, because it steams any food splashes to keep them from sticking. So with just a wipe with kitchen towel the oven is totally cleaned .
As quiet as could be expected from a large oven.
Things that bother me slightly.
The door works well but i would rather it shut tighter on the seal.
Its not as large as i would have liked, but i did order a 40l sharp one that was very bad all round, so i will put up with this one being smaller but good all round.
The interior light is not bright enough to light up the oven when you want to check on food, and the mirror door although looks very nice, does not help in this respect. I don’t understand why ovens these days are not upgrading the internal lighting .

These microwaves work great for all our cooking requirements, but I’ve just received the third one ,the only problem is the (oven lamp!!!,) the first oven worked great for the first six months, then the lamp began to flicker after a few minutes of use ,then went out all together. The next time we used it, all was ok for a few minutes then the same thing happened ., .Amazon sent me a replacement. (Thankyou), Again the second oven worked great ,but after four months whilst my wife was baking a cake, the oven lamp flickered for a few times and then just glowed , totally useless. Unbelievable. We love the microwave, the colour, the true convection oven, all very good. The third oven arrived yesterday and for now is working fine ,(Thanks Amazon.) but how long will the lamp last??……. lastly ,Exchange Delivery problems. First replacement arrived. I was told to pack old oven in new oven’s box and it would be collected next day ,but courier came same day to take old oven ???,they did return another day ,result…(Second replacement)…courier turned up at 14.30 to remove old oven before new one had arrived, which did later that evening…. I was told to contact Amazon to rearrange collection, which happened one day later than date they requested. I also had to contact Amazon again to get links sent for my return labels to be printed..as they forgot to add them in the email….As for the ovens,,..Surely this can’t be the norm for these microwaves ,or have we just been extremely unlucky? An update (January 19th 2020). we have had the latest microwave for some months now with no problems at all …I have been waiting for the lamp to fail ,but this time, all works fine…….and now ……………Latest 27/5/2020, The lamp has FAILED , yet again..NOW FED UP , This time I decided to sort it myself. It needed to be a 240v low wattage bright LED type. Amazon sell them in packs of 2 ,14 approx .for all microwave types .. Easy to change , now it is fine and I have a spare lamp……..Note! I am a retired electrical engineer.
This product is versatile. I have found the cooking timing’s are longer than those recommended times that are written on the frozen ready made meals. The convection cooker works well and the defrost is very good.The combination programmes I am still working on. I find the food is well cooked and has plenty of flavou

I’m very pleased with the microwave oven. Works well and cooking is very simple, and other functions are good, the power is right for me.
So far I love it. Normally the problem with combination microwaves is a) finding one that comes with a usable oven setting, most only go to about 170C and I wanted one at least 220C – this goes to 230C, b) finding one you can actually fit an oven dish in – this has a 31.5 cm plate diameter size, and c) finding one where the oven element of it gets hot enough to cook! When using the fan oven setting on Combination microwaves, be warned that they never get as hot as an actual proper oven ( so even though they may say it does 230C you wont get this! – which is why i don’t want one that only goes to 170C). However this one does get a lot hotter than my last one which also had an oven setting of 230C, so I cant complain. I just know that if I am cooking something in a gas oven of say 5 or 6 for 12 mins, that i would cook on 190 for say 17 mins instead using this. This does get a bit of getting used to but all combination microwaves seem to do this. And as I said the fan over is better than most I’ve used. The microware and defrost functions are also good. I don’t use much of the pre-set settings (other than I’ve tried a preset cooking of a potato and that came out well so no complaints there).
If I had to give a con, it is on the large size and very heavy. And be careful of touching the front glass or you’ll have fingerprints all over it and its not that easy to wipe off. I went over with a damp cloth and the whole thing looked one giant smear! So best to use a soft dry cloth.

I love this combination microwave: it is all my husband and I use. Arrived promptly.
A versatile machine that is easy to operate. It’s my first combi oven so it’s taken me a while to adjust cooking times for the convection oven. The grill is not designed to have the same power as a conventional cooker and is best used for browning and ‘finishing’ dishes with microwave/convection/grill settings. It’s easy to clean inside and my only real (tiny) gripe is the impractical mirror door which constantly gets splashed and needs polishing all the time.

This is a monster of a microwave. It’s great that you can get a full size plate in it. It does take up a lot of room on the work surface, coming almost to the front edge as it has quite a bit at the back that you cannot see in the image. I have only used the convection oven once and it was quick to heat up and worked well. Will be a real help at Christmas.
This microwave was a major upgrade from the previous one we got from a supermarket. We had our doubts at first, but in the end it was worth it and I don’t think we could do without it! The extra power and features, combined with the extra space for larger plates makes this worthwhile.
