My previous microwave was also a Russell Hobbs, and it has lasted over 7 years, it’s still working but getting a little tatty, so I went for another Russell Hobbs but with basic controls. I have had microwaves with all the fancy buttons, displays, timers, menus, etc and all I ever do is press start!
So, I purposely shopped for something with basic controls, a timer and power. This one is ideal; it is as basic as they get but looks good in the kitchen. It was well packed which is lucky as there were a few bits of damage to the box, but the microwave was fine. The timer only goes up to 35 minutes and as its not digital, it’s not accurate to the second or anything like that and of course there is no clock. There are 5 power levels, but I will probably only use defrost and high anyway.
The microwave works perfectly, is as basic as they come but very stylish.
I love the scans I design of this micro. A lovely shade of muted green, looks great alongside my marble tilesg.
This product appealed to me as it doesn’t look like your bog standard microwave. Easy to clean. I use fresh lemons in water to clean it, this leaves a lovely fresh scent after cooking. Russell Hobbs is a brand you can trust, well made and sleek looking.

Great little micro. Nice styling for what is a basic 700w microwave but it does the job. Only tiny picky drawback is the label on the front which won’t come off and when you do peel a little back leaves a residue which I think might come off with acetone but don’t want to risk damaging the colour. Why not use a tag instead that can be removed easily and recycled! Like I say…tiny little thing but spoils the look a little…
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the door doesn’t close completely the first time it needs bit of a nudge. Apart from that that its a good microwave, heats food up well, defrost works nicely too and colour is true to picture and wood finishing on the knob and microwave handle are a nice finish
Nice looking microwave, am pleased so far. We shall see how well it functions in the coming year. Perhaps the manual dial lacks accuracy but I don’t think that is a major negative and I knew and chose manual ,so….
Not too big, not too small. The blue colour is lovely against the wood effect handle. Thought since it was only 700watts it wouldn’t be the greatest but its just as good as an 800watt that I previously had by Russell hobbs. Would buy again and would recommend
A great little microwave, looks really nice on the kitchen side because of the vintage look of it in terms of shape, a nice shade of blue and the wood effect handle is a nice stylish additional. The front of it is in a tinted mirror effect which is handy. Easy to use. I don’t tend to make the most of the different settings so can’t comment on that. I’d recommend as good value for money.

This is a lovely looking microwave and it really suits my kitchen and I am very pleased with it. It would have had 5 stars, other than the sticker on the front of the machine. I did read this in another review, however I kid you not I must have spent a good 40 mins gentle teasing off the sticker and the glue residue. Olive oil in the end did the trick!
We bought this microwave for camping. It is an ideal size and worked well. It’s appearance is pleasing to the eye.

A good, compact, simple to use machine, just what I wanted. It was strangely wonky, the two front rubber feet were not the same thickness, so I had to put additional on one to stop the microwave from rocking.
Microwave is small and stylish, and works great. There’s only one drawback so far… The labels. I’ve no idea what glue they used to haphazardly attach the warning labels to the thing, but cleaning it off is a nightmare – engraving would have been easier to remove!
Love this microwave, the colour looks very mint green but it is more sage – the wooden effects really make the microwave pop and it looks very sophisticated and sleek! Digital timer, and functions are very easy to use, all great so far!
Lovely microwave, works beautifully. Looks gorgeous in my kitchen and no issues this far. Only little qualm I have is the height of the inside, could just have done with 5cm taller in the middle.
It lost one star because of an annoying red sticker that took a hairdryer and patience to remove.
Otherwise, a great addition to a kitchen.

I bought a microwave 3 months ago, it doesn’t work anymore, it just stopped heating, I can’t understand the reason for a week now, I rarely leave reviews, but this is exactly the moment when I don’t want people to meet the same problem as me, this product is not worth it their money

Using it for a couple of weeks and everything is working as expected. Looks nice and it’s simple to use. I paid 90 euro.
I like the look of this microwave as well as the easy to use controls. The handle is much easier to clean than the push button microwave I had previously.

Arrived with a big scratch at the top of the door. This is very disappointing as apart from that is a great microwave, looks good and works easily. A shame that either in transit or at manufactory it has been damaged in this way.
Bought for elderly dementia person . They can’t work it but it is a simple easy to use microwave with no unnecessary features . Looks stylish also

However, this is just 17L, and it seems small for our usage.

The microwave is intuitive to use and takes a standard dinner plate, coffee cup or bowl of soup without issue and that’s all I generally use it for. Cooks evenly when using the menu programs or just setting power and time manually.
