This is a lovely microwave from Russell Hobbs. I ordered mine in White and it looks fantastic. The handles are smooth to the touch and overall it has a high end well made feel to it. Replaces an ageing microwave I had got from another brand. Super happy
Just what I needed

Like the look,style & colour of this product. It gives you a variety of cooking options & and has good clear instructions. Love everything about this. Exceptionally good value for money
Does the job
Arrived quicker than expected. Very easy to set up and does the job.
Only negative I find is the first use tends to take longer like if I’m heating up soup for example, first bowl would take 5 minutes but next one 3,as if it needs to heat up.

Good value and stylish looking item. Works well. Great price. Only criticism would be the sensitivity of timing. If you want 1, 2 , 3 minutes etc thats easily managed with the dial but if you need to do shorter bursts of say 10 seconds or 30 seconds for say scrambled eggs – that’s trickier to manage accurately

I love the colour – which matches the green in my kitchen (much better than the standard type of MW oven). I especially like the fact that it does not display how long to cook meat, fish, etc.
Just the heat setting and a timer switch. Simple but effective – I couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended.

I was surprised to see the terrible light inside the microwave considering how well Russel Hobbs looked after the rest of the aesthetics.
Overall an attractive microwave, and decent quality for the price. Mine arrived with a superficial defect – rubber poking out from the glass on the front of the microwave. Additionally, when opening the microwave, you can feel a seam where the faux wood film must join on the back of the handle.
Despite these small imperfections I decided to keep the microwave to prevent the whole return and new order debacle. and I was able to remove the issue on the edge of the glass.
A mention regarding functionality, I was really pleased that like on my old microwave, you are able to simply press ‘start’ to begin cooking, it sets the timer to 1 minute, and you can rotate the knob to adjust the time up or down.

My previous microwave was also a Russell Hobbs, and it has lasted over 7 years, it’s still working but getting a little tatty, so I went for another Russell Hobbs but with basic controls. I have had microwaves with all the fancy buttons, displays, timers, menus, etc and all I ever do is press start!
So, I purposely shopped for something with basic controls, a timer and power. This one is ideal; it is as basic as they get but looks good in the kitchen. It was well packed which is lucky as there were a few bits of damage to the box, but the microwave was fine. The timer only goes up to 35 minutes and as its not digital, it’s not accurate to the second or anything like that and of course there is no clock. There are 5 power levels, but I will probably only use defrost and high anyway.
The microwave works perfectly, is as basic as they come but very stylish.

I love the scans I design of this micro. A lovely shade of muted green, looks great alongside my marble tilesg.
This product appealed to me as it doesn’t look like your bog standard microwave. Easy to clean. I use fresh lemons in water to clean it, this leaves a lovely fresh scent after cooking. Russell Hobbs is a brand you can trust, well made and sleek looking.
I’ve been using my microwave for several months now and I find it super easy and quick.Great product, I’d definitely recommend it.
Stylish and simple
Great little micro. Nice styling for what is a basic 700w microwave but it does the job. Only tiny picky drawback is the label on the front which won’t come off and when you do peel a little back leaves a residue which I think might come off with acetone but don’t want to risk damaging the colour. Why not use a tag instead that can be removed easily and recycled! Like I say…tiny little thing but spoils the look a little…
Great microwave does the job
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the door doesn’t close completely the first time it needs bit of a nudge. Apart from that that its a good microwave, heats food up well, defrost works nicely too and colour is true to picture and wood finishing on the knob and microwave handle are a nice finish

Nice looking microwave, am pleased so far. We shall see how well it functions in the coming year. Perhaps the manual dial lacks accuracy but I don’t think that is a major negative and I knew and chose manual ,so….

Not too big, not too small. The blue colour is lovely against the wood effect handle. Thought since it was only 700watts it wouldn’t be the greatest but its just as good as an 800watt that I previously had by Russell hobbs. Would buy again and would recommend
Great little microwave
A great little microwave, looks really nice on the kitchen side because of the vintage look of it in terms of shape, a nice shade of blue and the wood effect handle is a nice stylish additional. The front of it is in a tinted mirror effect which is handy. Easy to use. I don’t tend to make the most of the different settings so can’t comment on that. I’d recommend as good value for money.

This is a lovely looking microwave and it really suits my kitchen and I am very pleased with it. It would have had 5 stars, other than the sticker on the front of the machine. I did read this in another review, however I kid you not I must have spent a good 40 mins gentle teasing off the sticker and the glue residue. Olive oil in the end did the trick!
Ideal size
We bought this microwave for camping. It is an ideal size and worked well. It’s appearance is pleasing to the eye.

I love the handlel with the wooden effect and the colour looks very modern. However the functionality is basic and fairly hard to use if you want to use the more advanced features. Also I LOVE how it has a handle that opens easily and doesn’t have the stupid button to open it that other microwaves have.

Not bad for the price
A good, compact, simple to use machine, just what I wanted. It was strangely wonky, the two front rubber feet were not the same thickness, so I had to put additional on one to stop the microwave from rocking.

Great microwave, a little low powered, but not an issue.
Love that the handle has the wood effect so doesn’t look like just another glass and metal kitchen appliance.

Microwave is small and stylish, and works great. There’s only one drawback so far… The labels. I’ve no idea what glue they used to haphazardly attach the warning labels to the thing, but cleaning it off is a nightmare – engraving would have been easier to remove!

Love this microwave, the colour looks very mint green but it is more sage – the wooden effects really make the microwave pop and it looks very sophisticated and sleek! Digital timer, and functions are very easy to use, all great so far!

Great microwave…BUT….why oh why do you put stickers on the front of the microwave that will not peel off and then leave sticky paper after removal? Just stupid to put stickers on the front that don’t remove. Truly annoying.

Lovely microwave, works beautifully. Looks gorgeous in my kitchen and no issues this far. Only little qualm I have is the height of the inside, could just have done with 5cm taller in the middle.
Even my children went ‘Oo!’ when they first saw it. It looks fun and quaint. Easy to use – I can’t abide digital ones with loads of cooking modes.
It lost one star because of an annoying red sticker that took a hairdryer and patience to remove.
Otherwise, a great addition to a kitchen.

Arrived with a big scratch at the top of the door. This is very disappointing as apart from that is a great microwave, looks good and works easily. A shame that either in transit or at manufactory it has been damaged in this way.

The microwave is intuitive to use and takes a standard dinner plate, coffee cup or bowl of soup without issue and that’s all I generally use it for. Cooks evenly when using the menu programs or just setting power and time manually.

I also love the way it looks, the grey and wood are so much nicer than the black plastic you normally get on microwaves. What’s not to like? Well the three notification buzzes it makes every time the timer’s up are perhaps too loud and red light telling you you’re on the clock setting seems unnecessary but those are minor gripes. All in all I would definitely recommend it.
