Looks great with a prestige label.
Efficient working with a small ice box that can be handy in summer. Quite good capacity for my office use to keep the occasional lunch and snacks.
Usually quite except the occasional whirring of every fridge.

I love this fridge is so quiet and spacious inside, even has a little freezer box which is ideal for ice cubes as I bought this as a beer and drinks fridge for my bedroom. For the price can’t really go wrong and it’s almost silent while running.

I bought this fridge to replace a small fridge I bought for my daughter when she was in a shared house at university. It’s good to have a spare fridge upstairs for cold drinks and spillover at Christmas when my main fridge is always bursting at the seems!
It’s quiet and spacious and really fitted my use.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Userswe use this in our studio for mixers we use for visitors. Takes up little space, runs queit – and for the price i’d say does an excellent job. has a small ice compartment up top too which might not create ice all that quickly but keeps ice frozen if you source from elsewhere. not sure that scientifically makes sense but it’s a solid product and would buy again.

Perfect size only down fall is the built in mini freezer compartment. If you have it switched on it has a tendency to freeze some of your fridge food.

I love this table top fridge. The design is sleek. The inside looks small but the amount of items you can get in side is amazing.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis mini-fridge can meet my need for refrigeration for one week’s supply of food. It has a small ice compartment. It is very quiet – just a very slight sound when the refrigeration cycle starts again if you’ve had the door open a while. Best to de-frost about once a month so that ice doesn’t build up on the ice compartment. With appropriately -sized storage containers I’ve been surprised how much I can fit in it.
Personally I’ve been entirely satisfied with it.

Bought this to replace a faulty fridge in my static holiday caravan in France so not in full use yet. Looks about the right size and works well on test at home. One star held back until we use it for real.

Overall delighted with the purchase and its value-for-money, in my view. Easy to follow instructions and set-up. If you are not fit enough and or unsteady on your feet to lift cumbersome boxes, get someone to help, otherwise it could be a struggle, particularly up stairs. I have put mine in a spare room so its accessible from bedroom and from home office. Its spacious enough and cool enough. Themo-setting is recommended at “2” but it could be set higher- I haven’t risked it yet! Standard wine bottles don’t fit. If I have niggle: there isn’t a light inside….really!

I’m quite satisfied with the functions of the fridge, but one downside is that there is no light in the fridge.

Got next day delivery on this fridge. Brought as extra space needed . Was concerned when sides got very hot so switched of and left off over night Seemed to settle down sides just warm and then cold My only complait is door shelve doesnt hold bottles and cans in place so when you open the door they full forward and you have to push them back so you can shut the door.

Perfect for us. A table top fridge for drinks and snacks. Swapped the door around to fit a space, easy to do but don’t lose the plastic washer. We only have the temp control on low as it tends to freeze anything that is in the top of the fridge, not just the ice box. Certainly looks good and is very good value.

I found the fridge to be quiet, and on a low settiong comes on only occasionally. It holds 30 1-litre cartons at 5 deg.C on that low setting with ice inside the freezer compartment.

There was a small dent in the side of the fridge by the place where you would switch the hinge when I unpacked it, in spite of all the protective packaging and no external damage to the box. Looks like it was sent out with a fault – disappointing. But I couldn’t bear the hassle of sending it back so kept it because it’s hidden behind a door. It works and does a job.

Bought this in a rush when our fridge failed and engineer couldn’t attend for two weeks!! Worked well. The only downside was the icebox. Didn’t need that as we had a freezer but the icebox took up room we could have utilised better.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWorks well not a great deal of space internally but ideal for prescription drugs.
The temperature control needs turning quite low to get the temperature low enough but once set perfect.
Finish excellent and ideal size for work tops. Ideal for drinks and snacks but limited as the door inner sections encroaches on fridge space.
    Would buy again.

I like to have a few bottles/cans of beer chilled at the ready for my weekly Friday night session or the odd sunny day in Scotland which can be quite unpredictable. Had researched quite a few fridges online. There are such a variety of sizes, styles and prices it took a while for me to go for this fridge. I wasn’t bothered about the look as it was going to sit in a spare room anyway and I do like the Russell Hobbs brand for other small electrical appliances e.g. irons, steam mops etc. Had the fridge for around 10 months now and really pleased with my purchase. I like my beer very cold and this fridge does the business. Setting goes to 5 but 3 is good enough for me. Doesn’t take long to chill – can put the bottles/cans in before work and they will be ready for me on my return, but even better if you have them chilled for a day or two. The size and capacity was a big plus for me. I tend to buy 330ml cans/bottles and it holds loads, however, it easily takes larger bottles and cans if you move the shelf to the top of the fridge and build them up horizontally from the bottom. The only issue I have had is that I’m not sure whether the door hinge is tightened properly. The door closes/seals the fridge fine but I sometimes have to lift it a little to stop the inner part of the door hitting the wall inside the fridge, particularly if I have anything stored on the fridge door. It clicks on and off, usually after the door has been opened, but is otherwise quiet. Haven’t used the wee freezer compartment but it needs defrosted around every 6 months with infrequent use. In summary, I love this wee fridge. Great capacity, been reliable so far and serves my purpose well.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA great little fridge that can hold your food essentials with ease. Brought this as a temporary solution while waiting for our new fridge to arrive (the old one broke down). The setup is straightforward, and it uses surprisingly little electricity despite its not-so-great energy rating, just remember to wait three hours after delivery before plugging it in (explained in the manual). In a quiet room, it can seem a bit loud, but if it’s in your kitchen or den etc. I wouldn’t worry. For the size, it’s quite powerful, even on its mid-setting you won’t worry on a hot day. Also liked that you can switch the door hinges to suit where you’re placing the fridge.

Currently being used by my dad as his beer fridge in his workshop 🙂

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI got this fridge to replace a slowly-failing mini-fridge I got for almost the exact same price a year before. That one was also Russel Hobbs branded, but was more like a box with a fgan in it. It was loud, not mega cold, and only became less and less effective over time.

They processed my refund when it stopped working and I used that money to buy this. It’s quite a fair bit bigger, so be mindful of that, but the main thing is: it is actually a fridge. With an ice box, too. It’s been an absolute godsend, it keeps things very very cool and fits quite a lot of stuff in it. It doesn’t seem meaningfully less effective when quite full, either.

I got it on sale for around 90, but if you’re looking at this at full price I’d recommend it fully.

Needed a fridge, bigger than a “table top” fridge but not as tall as a normal fridge. This was perfect, just the right size and holds a surprisingly large amount.
Very quiet and holds temperature very well.
Came with a slight dint in the rear panel but it is not visible and has no impact on the functionality so didn’t bother remarking on it. Delivery was spot on to the time stated and quick.
All in all can’t fault the product or the company.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this fridge because I wanted to try and cut down on energy costs, didn’t see the point in having a large fridge with a few items.

I like it so far, milk is ice cold even though its on lowest setting,
I’m a single parent with two teenage boys,so it’s a sufficent size for my needs to hold basic items. can hold 2×4 pints milk cartons, 1kg cheese in door, bottle wine, chicken and ham slices etc, I usually decant my meals into containers so I’d say could hold 4 circular containers at the bottom or 6 of the plastic rectangular ones I reckon.

It’s very quiet, a lot quieter than my bigger fridge.
At the moment I have switched off the larger fridge, I leave the door open at night. I only intend to use it if I do a really big shop if I’m entertaining eg Christmas, so will need more fridge space.

I only have ice cubes in the freezer part at the moment, not tried anything else will update when I do.

I place a drip tray below the freezer part, not as much water as others have complained about, but you will get icicle partials below the ice box which I suggest you just wipe off weekly.

I assume the longer the door I open it may create more vapour?! Who know, I’m not a fridge expert, but I’m sure my bill will have been reduced as a result of using a smaller, energy efficient fridge, makes sense.
NB: energy efficiency labels have changed, I didn’t realise this until I queried the ratings so I suggest you Google for more information.

Overall I’m pleased with my purchase so far.

Honestly, the negative reviews are totally unfounded. The fridge makes the noise of a small fridge. It isn’t loud at all, if they want something cold without noise I recommend a cool box. I have a fairly small room and sleep with this in close proximity. it is not “overly noisy’ what so ever, great little fridge that I highly recommend (particularly if you have housemates with light fingers!)

I gave the energy rating 3 only because of what the manufacturer stated about it. I bought it to take camping and it actually works very well off campsite electric hook-ups. After having it plugged in for the first night of camping we realised we had set the temperature setting too high as the milk had frozen solid. Soon sorted that out and it worked perfectly all week. It will now take position as my beer cooler until we go out on our next camping trip.
Great bit of kit – really impressed.

Seems to be a really good fridge. Looks good, easy to reverse the door and it runs silent as far as i can tell (fridges are always noisy the first time you use them until they reach temp) Fits cans of drink and full size milk cartons in the door. Plenty of space on the shelf for lunch and snacks. Icebox a bonus for summer months!

It is exactly as i expected, however it does have some cosmetic damage – the top corners are dented and theres a dent in the side, but as i am using under a counter with other objects next to it, i will accept it. Might not be idea if you have it on a worktop on display.

This is the second of this model I have now. Purchased to use in an outdoor garden room c/w cold beverage facility. Neat / compact and well designed for its intended use. I have reversed the door to suit my needs and this is well within the scope of most people. My first one is still operational after 5 years of use so this one should serve its purpose.

Ideal for teenage sons bedroom, plenty of room to keep his snacks and drinks and fits nicely on a counter top in his room. Only issue is the noise it randomly makes which can be heard in other rooms too but only last 20-30 seconds at a time.

Warning: this is a short term review based on only a few weeks of use.

I bought this because I rent, and the installed fitted kitchen fridge consumes energy like a blast furnace, and is less insulated than a naked cross Atlantic swimmer. So I decided to get a small fridge for under 100 instead of haemorrhaging money and causing an argument with the landlord (who would no doubt just replace the old fridge with another energy inefficient fridge, then put the rent up)

I am VERY happy. It is very cold, very efficient and well insulated. Ive used a laser thermometre on the outside “white” part on all sides and barely find a +/- 1c difference. It uses very little electricity and its very quite. I literally put this in my bedroom and when the TV is on I barely even hear it when it fires up.

My only slight reservation is the thermostat, not that it causes me particular problems. Even on the lowest setting its still VERY cold. Maybe because its new, and its in a cold room which is optimal, but I already have it turned to the lowest setting, and tbh I would happily have it slightly warmer if it meant using less electricity, but it wont go down further.

I have seen some complaints that water “pools” in the fridge. True but not the whole picture. Basically the cooler box IS the internal cooling element, and its metal. The fridge is very insulated, so when it turns on to cool, the metal element gets suddenly VERY cold and any moisture vapour condenses and freezes on it. If your room is humid this will be a problem, if not, it wont. Personally this happens to me only when I am drying laundry in my bedroom. Humidity = condensation.
The simple fix is to keep an eye on it, and if you see drops of frozen water on the underside of the chiller tray, turn the fridge off for ten minutes, then just as it starts to thaw, wipe the underside with a cloth and all the ice drops separate immediately onto the cloth. Job done. Like I said though, its only ever happened to me when Im drying lots of laundry in a coldish room.

I would also note that when I used a power metre plug, my old fridge was costing more to run, than the value of the food I was preserving. This fridge is so efficient Ive turned it down to level 1, and stopped monitoring it.

    Pros
    Cheap to buy
    Very quiet
    VERY energy efficient.
    Surprisingly spacious considering its size
    Very very cold
You can pack it to the gills and it will keep things cool

    Cons
If there is damp or humidity, it will condense and freeze on the cooling element.

I got this fridge to save money, its paid for itself. Energy efficiency is advancing very quickly these days and this thing is cheap, effective and efficient.

It’s relatively quiet most of the time with an occasional stir but it’s perfect holds a lot of drinks and the ice cube compartment was a welcome surprise the temperature gage is pretty much keep it on number two but that still very cold and keeps my drinks cold

The reviews seem all over the place but I’ve been happy with this fridge. Followed the instructions on leaving it to settle and so on and now it works perfectly – keeps stuff cold and is very quiet.
It is very small but apart from that its well recommended.

Bought to replace a previous mini fridge for my son’s bedroom, hums a little when the compressor’s running but once it’s down to a working temperature, falls silent and works nicely as a fridge, with it’s little ice box for cubes and the occasional ice cream bar.

As far as fridges go this is a very good one, from other reviews there have been noise complaints and also general keeping things cool complaints however after having this in my bedroom for a few months I have not ran into any negatives. It would be nice for the freezer part to be a little bigger but it does it’s job greatly and doesn’t make much noise at all!

My fridge broke down and it was going to be at least 5 days before I could get a replacement. Purchased this as a back up, it arrived next door and was great. Held more than expected. It will come in very handy at Christmas.

I do like it and use it as a beer/wine fridge but be aware that only one normal size bottle of wine can fit in the door. Also note that the base of the door slopes so that cans and bottles lean forward into the flexible retaining bar causing slight resistance when closing. Very quiet.

Bought for the spare bedroom to save having to run up and down stairs for drinks in the middle of the night. Fridge is big enough to carry several bottles, and the occasional snacks and is so quiet that it does not disturb us sleeping in the next bedroom. Great bargain.

It’s a much better size than others I’ve had and as it’s just for pet need it’s more than big enough!
Excellent price and the delivery was quicker than expected 5* product which I highly recommend for an add-on fridge!!!

This fridge is deceptively roomy. No more discovering out of date items due to using a family size fridge in a single person home! Wish I had bought earlier as this purchase allowed me to free up needed space in my cottage. It also has a lovely finish. I bought a three drawer Electra freezer also. I would recommend.

Bought this mini fridge to replace an even smaller one. Used to store insulin at between 2 – 7 degrees C. Old fridge used the Peltier system so fan running all the time and in warm weather will not keep contents cool This one has small compressor which is excellent and very quiet Uses the casing to dissipate heat so leave space around fridge. Have had to turn temperature setting down to 2.5 to get desired setting Well worth the money

A really great little fridge. I only use the it for holding bits and bobs for making sandwiches for work and for that purpose it is excellent. I would take the advice of other reviewers when using it for the first few days and keep an eye on the temperature as it gets really cold at the setting as recommended in the manual. Also, if you place items under the ice box, make sure that they are not tall enough to come close to the unit as this area of the fridge is probably the coldest and I have had food freeze up. Just store some flat packets of food here.

Other reviewers have said that fridge can be too noisy but I haven’t found it so (although obviously it does make a noise when the pump is operating) and my kitchen is open planned at the back of my lounge.

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to buy a small fridge.

I’m using it as a beer fridge in the utility room. Sits on a worktop above a freezer. Holds quite a lot really. I’ve got 16 x 440ml cans, 4 x 330ml bottles of beer, 2 bottles of wine & a 2 ltr bottle of water in it. I could probably get a little bit more in but didn’t want to overfill it.

At the edge of practical size… Ices up too easily and requires defrosting regularly, or you turn it down to prevent icing and the food and milk doesn’t last long enough.

Heat dissipation through the sides not the back… Weird!

Works really well, keeps things cold and ice cold in the ice tray.
I’ve seen people complaining in these reviews that ice forms on this compartment apparently not realising that it’s designed for that purpose.
The fridge is pretty noisy though. In a bedroom at night it could be disturbing if you’re a light sleeper.
If you’re only storing drinks and it doesn’t matter if they’re not kept completely chilled at all times then you could do what I’ve done and put it on a timed plug socket so that it only operates before 11pm and after 6am so they’re cold again when I wake up but the fridge doesn’t keep me awake

I bought this whilst living in a houseshare as I didn’t want the hassle of sharing a fridge. It is only noisy on occasion , but this is hardly noise, it is more a slight gurgling noise. It is good for capacity and can fit a lot of various foods/ drinks in there. I am really pleased with it. The only thing I need to get use to is the lack of light but the temperature is really good. Would highly recommend .

Most of reviews how bad this fridge is is totally true.. Please do not believe one of the Female reviewers on here with the name S****.. I think she works for ur Russell Hobbs!! It’s true the freezer cannot freeze your ice cream or other things you want freezing. And freezer builds up of so much ice but cannot freeze your items..
What a waste of money, not even worth a freebie!!
Its now being sent back to Amazon for a full refund..
Very very disappointed, especially when it’s a branded produc

This was a panic buy when our fitted fridge broke down a few days before Christmas. It was delivered so promptly that we had to throw away very little perishable food. Although capacity is quite small, it tided us over the Christmas period perfectly until John Lewis came to our rescue with a new fitted fridge. We continue to use the Russell Hobbs mainly for dairy products and drinks – useful extra capacity which takes up relatively little space. Recommended.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWanted a smaller fridge for storing some things that need to be kept refrigerated for a day or so that is used for work purposes. I did read reports of noisy motors in these units but I think that this may apply to the smaller units (43 litre capacity?) units. I have not found this unit to have a noisier motor than is standard and in fact is very quiet in use. In hindsight and this is my fault, I should have got a slightly bigger unit of about 100? Litres as space in these is limited by where part of the internal motor is. That is purely to meet my own particular needs. Would be good as a counter top fridge for extra capacity to top up that of your normal fridge.

As far as price goes this is definitely great value for money. It’s relatively spacious and has a mini fridge. I would say it is harder to fit larger bottles such 1.5/2 litre bottles, mainly because of the length, I’d you have them in the door you can only fit one and if you have them not top they will most likely freeze, however you can fit a lot of other stuff in there, I practically fit a whole weekly shop sans any longer items.

As for temperature control, the fridge and the freezer share the same settings so you can’t change either one, the freezer is very strong and any products near or under the freezer will freeze, I tried to put the temp lower to avoid that, however that then the temp for the entire fridge down and something I had in there went off.

Despite all this I would highly recommend, as it’s not for general use, it definitely meets its purpose. I am able to store cans, bottles and juices in my room like I need and in the summer the freezer was full. It can fit one Ben and Jerry’s tube and 12 single lollies.

Works well keeps products cold as required. Only a couple of small points preventing overall 5 stars is :
    1. no interior light.
2 slightly noisy when the compressor switches on.
Was bought as an emergency when our main fridge freezer stopped working and we had to wait several weeks for it to be fixed. It served its purpose.

Happy with the fridge. Good size and looks good in daughter’s uni room. One down side is that the freezer isn’t really a freezer. We had thought it would be good for keeping ice cream and freezing ice cubes – but it isn’t cold enough for either of those functions.

Great little fridge. Bought for our caravan and just a perfect size. Once switched on it cools really quickly and I was able to make ice cubes in the tray provided, put two frozen baked potatoes and a half bag of frozen chips all in the little ice box! I was able to keep, in the fridge itself, a bottle of lemonade, some cans of coke and a few other food items. Just perfect for my needs. The fridge is quiet which I was delighted with as most times small fridges like this are noisy. Would certainly recommend.

Stupendous! I kept 30 plastic bottles of B-Fresh Green Guru smoothies in this little fridge and I still have extra space to keep 30 plastic bottles of Ginger Fix (extreme defence) in the same tiny fridge. It helps to control the required temperature for my monthly supply of supper green smoothies.

The fridge is super quite, keeps my smoothies cool at the right temperature and it has it’s own temperature control dial.

It doesn’t calibrate like my printer does!
