These Ryobi’s are a healthy addiction, from which there is no cure…my collection is growing as if seeded in my man cave….This one a powerful, compact, well made tool that works like hell! So surprised at this small impact wrench; Tyre rotation, no problem. Install a trailor hitch, no problem…don’t have to use cheater bars ever again. So many DIY uses, so little time…
Owned it for 2 years now it’s been hard working and never let me down. 5amp battery works the best with this aswell.
Nice looking, well balanced and quick but I’ve tried it now on several cars and it hasn’t managed to undo a single wheel nut, once released with a breaker bar they didn’t seem overly tight, so a little disappointing, maybe time to move forward to a Milwaukee.
Love it, changed a gearbox in a rusty old zafira, was skeptical at first with varied reviews, but there was not a nut or bolt it wouldn’t take off, so glad I didn’t pay 300 plus for one

Rusted absolutely solid? Your fault and most cordless units will struggle. Need a breaker bar or air tool but for normal use absolutely fine.
Use a 4.0 or 5.0Ah battery (decent aftermarket unit is fine) as the extra current really helps.

Ich habe den Schlagschrauber gekauft um, wie viele, die Reifen an meinen Autos zu wechseln.
Vorher immer mit einem langen Knebel und Ratsche und jetzt Fahrzeug hoch, Schlagschrauber angesetzt und los.
Super Gert fr den Preis. Ob er wirklich 400 Nm schafft kann ich nicht sagen hat aber bis jetzt jede Radmutter/ Radbolzen losbekommen (nicht wie ein gnstiges Produkt welches ich vorher hatte).
Bin super zufrieden. In Kombination mit 5Ah Akku 10 Autos gemacht und der Akku zeigte immer noch 1/2 voll an.

Ich habe den Schlagschrauber jetzt seit ca. einem Jahr und bin voll und ganz von ihm begeistert.Ich repariere in meiner Freizeit zusammen mit meinem Vater oft Autos und ich kann nur sagen Der Schlagschrauber ist einfach geil.Wir haben damit schon ganze Motoren getauscht und zusammen mit dem 5ah Akku geht der Schlagschrauber praktisch nie leer.Wie andere schreiben das der Schlagschrauber keine Leistung htte, kann ich nicht untersttzen ich finde er hat fr einen Akku Schlagschrauber mehr als genug Kraft zum Groteil haben wir bis jetzt alles damit ab bekommen sogar Antriebswellen Mutter.Wer viel schraubt sollte nicht lange berlegen sondern sich den Schlagschrauber am besten in kombination mit schnellladegert und 5Ah Akku kaufen.
Bought this to undo the notorious screws that hold the brake disks to the hub on my Civic. It came with a collet for 1/4 hex bits and using a PZ2 impact duty bit had the screws out in a few seconds. Previously this job has ended in broken screwdrivers and the eventual drilling out of the offending screws. Not a tool I will use often but still a valuable ‘secret weapon’ when jobs that should have been straightforward go awry. Just my opinion but I think this will do its best work with one of the larger batteries, I have a 4.0 and a 5.0 already for my Ryobi brushless drill.
Habe lange damit gerungen welcher Akkuschlagschrauber es werden soll und habe ea nicht bereut.
1. Die Beleuchtung ist endlich mal wirklich sinnvoll und wirft keinen doofen schatten und ist Hell genug.
2. Rderwechsel, Reparaturen an der Vorderachse, Stodmpfer etc. das alles hat er schon sehr gut bewltigt.
3. Er ist sehr robust
4. Habe den Akkuschlagschrauber mit dem Makita eines bekannten direkt verglichen, der Makita Akkuschlagschrauber konnte nicht ansatzweise mithalten und dieser kostet deutlich mehr als der Ryobi.
KAUFEN und freuen! Mit den Flagpower 5Ah Akkus geht das auch gut ab.

Achete 98 a prix idem de LxxxxY MxxxxN mais dispo et livre rapidement par AMAZON. Achat pour dpose / repose de mes roues t / hiver sur mes vhicules, je l’utilise au niveau de puissance 2 sur 3. La machine est ergonomique, il n’y a aucun retour de couple et la puissance est lev par rapport a beaucoup d’autres machines d’autres marques pour un usage non professionnel. J’ai mis dessus la batterie 2,5 Ah de mon coupe bordure et l’ensemble est lger. Aucune baisse de puissance aprs le remplacement de 12 roues. Un bon achat a prix raisonnable

This thing is fantastic. I already have the 400mAH batteries and this 400NM version is very strong. Makes wheel nuts and old rusty bolts a simple task. I expect this will last a fair while like the drill I bought a few years ago.
Really good value for money, body is very light fit an impact gun, works best with the 5 amp battery.
Own ryobi tools already they are reliable & really are a pro tool ! This one is no exception!
I bought this for a specific job on the car which it completed with ease where hand tools had failed. I chose this make as I already had two of their larger batteries which go with a drill. The drill has given no problems although the charger failed twice while under warranty. So initial impressions are good but I will have to wait and see if it is up to long term use. I don’t believe that this tool is rated for professional use only domestic.
A great piece of kit that I wish I’d bought sooner.
Ideal for those jobs where you’d probably damage the nut or Allen bolt. I bought mine for stripping Mx bikes and it works very well especially on engine internals where it prevents you needing special tools to hold clutches etc to get them undone.
For the really big stuff I still turn to my breaker bar though as this does have its limitations
I bought this expressly to use on wheelnuts, but even on ‘3’ I sometimes have to ‘crack’ them with a bar.
Putting wheelnuts on at setting ‘2’ takes them to around 90lb/ft so it’s just 1 or 2 grunts with the torque wrench to get to my required 95lb/ft.
Good value and works well enough, but it won’t flip your car over!
Does exactly what I wanted it to do, won’t budge wheel bearing sized nuts, but anything around wheel nut size no problem, good value for money.
Combined with the One+ high pressure inflator makes a great emergency wheel change set. Bag easily fits both tools and a battery.

This piece of equpment has exceeded my expectations: I’ve had no difficulty undoing a variety of bolts and nuts on my car. I was quite impressed when the wheel hub retaining nut, which I had tightened up to 320Nm the previous time I worked on my car, just came flying off the driveshaft. However, as some reviewers have said, a crank shaft pulley bolt may be too much for this impact wrench, but then again, it’s not something that an average DIYer has to deal with on a regular basis.
I always try to think in the long term, so my only concern is: Will I still be using my Ryobi in, say, five years’ time? Had I bought a Makita, I wouldn’t have to think about that question 🙂
A great product, removed wheel nuts without any issues from 120nm, I’m returning mine for a replacement as one of the three LED lights is not working which is disappointing for a brand new product.

Cracking bit of kit comes with all the basics to get you going. Saved me a lot of hassle with stubborn nuts.. Little bit on the noisey side in an enclosed space but that’s to be expected from this type of tool..
I read a few poor reviews on this product saying that it didn’t have enough power to remove a wheel nut etc. In the end I trusted my own opinion of the brand and figured, “ryobi wouldn’t make a product that isn’t fit for purpose”. Trust me on this one, this is an excellent piece of kit and will spin out the tightest fastener with ease, like a knife through butter. Quality construction and simple to use. I use original ryobi batteries and don’t have any problems or criticisms at all. It’s a no brainie
I have used this once to change a set of alloys and it worked fine – and based on other Ryobi tools I have used, I am going to assume this will be reliable and will last reasonably. The issue with any tool like this is does it do what it claims. Initially, it failed to undo any bolts, but that was down to my stupidity. I used an extension and a converter to 3/8 – I think this introduced too many losses in the hammer action. With a socket fitted directly, this was able to loosen all the bolts I tried. As a test I tightened one bolt to 200 lb ft and this gun was able to spin it off almost immediately on setting 3. So I will give it is benefit and assume it could do a fair bit more. For the occasional use I have in mind, this will be fine.
Very impressed with this so far, has easily removed the nuts on all 4 wheels of my son’s car. I had been concerned after reading some of the reviews but more than happy with the performance. Time will tell with more use but appears up to the job.
In short, I’m well happy with this tool and recommend it for any home garage..
Great impact wrench, without the expense of other brands. Ok its no Milli or Walt but for the home mechanic, it should do most things. But definitely needs a 4/5ah battery to get the most out of it.
Had this impact wrench a while now and was just used for removing car wheels etc., but just completed an entire brake and suspension swap on my MX5 and this thing had no trouble even with a few of the rusty nuts. The battery life is great too as a single charge of the 4 amp battery enabled me to complete all four corners of the car which I did not expect. It’s a great compact size too which helped to get around the back of the hubs in tight areas.
Superb tool. Made light work of bolts that’d been on a motorcycle for 15 years.
I like it its noisy doesn’t take long to charge comes with 3long reach sockets in popular sizes which made it possible for me to remove the wheels of my car in record time which at my age I’m getting a bit long in the tooth for the usual wheel brace just get it jacked up and wheels off in under a minute calipers off discs off new discs on switch the pads calipers back on wheels on car down give or take a few details job done this tool made the job so much easier than just spanners and ratchets alone
Needed an impact wrench for work, as I already have other Ryobi tools (which are great) I went for this impact wrench as I already have the batteries for it. The 3 speed function is great as I can use it on jobs I wouldn’t normally use an impact wrench on due to the possibility of shearing smaller bolts. It’s very powerful on its max setting and am overall very happy with it.
Took apart a turbo housing that has been left out in the rain for 3 years. Undid bottom arm bolts that i was certain it would struggle with.
Take my advice and pair it with a 6ah battery, takes hours off jobs
La prise en main est bonne, le bouton viss /dviss tombe parfaitement sous le pouce et l’index.
Sur la vitesse 1 impossible de dvisser le moindre boulon de roues.
En vitesse 2 quelques boulons de roues ont t dviss.
Sur la vitesse 3 a dmnage mais a ne tord pas le poignet pour autant, on la tien une main sans problme.
Le poids est est bien quilibr et n’est pas excessif.
Dieser Schlagschrauber ist definitiv mein Lieblingswerkzeug geworden. Ich habe selbst mit kleinem Akku noch keine Schraube getroffen die er nicht hat lsen knnen, Rderwechsel, Koppelstangen, Quer- und Lngslenker, Stabilisatoren, sogar Antriebswellenmuttern lst er in Sekunden. Die ber 600NM Lsemoment sind definitiv kein Mrchen. Ich liebe das Teil, ein muss fr jeden Schrauber in der Halle oder Dank Akku auch auf Schrottplatztour, nie wieder ohne.

I already had a few batteries so I bought it as a bare unit. The swivel bit you see I bought elsewhere and it is a great addition.
Plenty of power and impact kick and would be more than happy to use this in a professional environment. 4ah battery gives far more lifespan than I expected and easily lasts a full day of work.
So far I’ve only use it at home for DIY on car – wheels, brakes etc. Speed control really useful. full power to remove, and lowest power to speed up the initial tightening&seating wheel nuts.
claims to hit 400NM torque. hard to test for the home gamer, but i can definitely believe it’s over 300.
also came with a hex adapter so if you have this tool you wont need the ryobi impact driver gun. This tool with hex adapter had no problems for disc screws or brake backplate screws.
Great bit of kit. Shame the tighten stuff isn’t as good though. Still 5* as I don’t have to use breaker bar. 4AH battery has lasted 2 days on a full brake shake down on a Focus and still showing 50% left …

Used this to free up and remove a corroded in swingarm bolt on a motorbike. Couldn’t budge it by other methods, this freed it up within seconds. Excellent bit of kit, wish I’d bought one soone

Little skeptical seeing as some impact guns aren’t up to the challenge to undo a wheel nut.
I’m using the 4.0h battery and it will undo most things I’ve tried it on. Even a drive shaft!
I should’ve bought this a long time ago. Comes in very handy when doing maintenance on my car and with the 3 speed adjustment means I don’t over tighten bolts before torquing them up.

The only advise I would give is use a 4amp battery minimum as it helps deliver the power it needs, I tried my 1.5amp and it’s not man enough.
Amazing driver, I alway subscribed to the fact that good dads had power tools and great dads had air tools but not any more. This has more torque than any home mechanic would need and is the battery is fully interchangeable…….amazing!

Worked a treat on the sprocket retaining nut of my motorcycle that I had been unable to budge with a long torque wrench.
Works ok but struggled a little to remove some wheel nuts from a 1 year old Fiesta .. these nuts are only (in theory) tighten to 110 NM so undoing those should have been a breeze .. as said it did the job but let me feeling that rusted on nuts and bolts may be too much for this in spite of a high torque rating
Wow this is fantastic should have had one years ago. Tried it on front wheel of our track car no problem. Tried it on the trailer wheel nuts off they came no problem. Great tool recommend it .
Zuerst habe ich mir einen Billigen fr den Netzbetrieb gekauft, (ATU) leider war das ein absoluter Fehlkauf.
Nun habe ich mehr Geld in die Hand genommen und wurde belohnt.
Der Akkuschrauber, wenn auch Ohne Akku geliefert, ist Krftig und liegt sehr gut in der Hand.
PKW als auch Traktor Radschrauben habe ich damit bisher jedes Mal problemlos auf bekommen!
Man muss dem Werkzeug nur die notwendige Zeit geben seine Arbeit zu verrichten.
4 X Reifenwechsel am PKW sowie 1 x Rad Demontage an einem alten Deutz hat das Gert mit einer Akkuladung
bisher erfolgreich bewerkstelligt und hat noch immer Saft im Akku!
Fhrt inzwischen als stndiger Begleiter in meinem PKW mit, so berzeugt hat mich dieser Schlagschrauber!
Good piece of kit – not quite as powerful as I had expected, but that is probably my lack of understanding of torques. Still very helpful for lots of jobs.

Why pay 700+? Ample torque for most things. Great ryobi quality. Just don’t expect miracles at this price point.
Then I tried my longest breaker bar, and bent the locking tool.
The difficulty with this job is that everything just spins freely.
This did the trick. It took a while, but I could see the nut edging round with every clonk. And then suddenly it all came free.
This got 5 out of 6 bolts off without breaking a sweat. The 6 came half way out then lodged solid.
My guess as a non mechanic is that this is fantastic for most jobs that a hobbiest will do, but it won’t get absolutely everything… For wheel nuts etc that are removed more often than every few years this is just the job. For those really tough engine/suspension ones, you might get lucky.
Good item but would have been 5 star if the chuck had a more flexible locking system to allow for larger variety of additional bits to be attached

ich habe mich fr Ryobi entschieden,weil ich mein Werkzeug ausbauen wollte und mir ein Freund sagte,Ryobi ist eine gute Marke.
Nun….Ich habe von Ryobi schon einen Akkubohrer,bin damit sehr zufrieden.Da jetzt die Frhlingssaison anstand und somit auch der damit verbundene Reifenwechsel musste auch ein Schlagbohrer her.Da bei mir 3 Autos auf dem Hof stehen und ich da nicht von Hand aufdrehen wollte also ein Schlagschrauber.Der schlagschrauber wurde ber Amazon Prime bestellt und kam pnktlich am nchsten Tag.Die Nsse wurden woanders bestell(Firma Hesselink).Der Akku(4 aH) kam einen Tag spter,auch Amazon,aber wie das dann so ist.Aufgeladen und am darauffolgenden Wochenende getestet.Am Akku ist praktischerweise eine Akkustandsanzeige.
Zuallerst:Alle Schrauben gingen los mit den Stufen 2-3.Stufe 1 geht bist 90NM.
Reifen runter,Schlagbohrer auf Stufe 1 und gib ihm.Den Rest habe ich dann mit dem Drehmomentschlssel gemacht.Das an den anderen 3 Reifen wiederholt.Alles super,Akku war immer noch voll(40 Schrauben).
Vorne sind 3 Lampen dran(fr Nachts warscheinlich 🙂 ),welche auch gut hell sind.
Ansonsten…..Rechts/Links-Lauf(klar).
Das Gert liegt sehr gut in der Hand,wiegt aber auch ein bisschen,es muss ja auch arbeiten.
Ich bin sehr zufrieden und werde mein Werkzeug weiter mit Ryobi aufstocken.
Ich wrde ihn wieder kaufen,hoffe aber das meiner noch lange hlt.

Wheels nuts – Come off loose in a second. 2 seconds at the most. Didn’t use it on the locking nut for an obvious reason.
Brake slider pins & bolts – My car slider pin and bolts are completely seized. this comes off without a problem.
Brake Caliper Carrier bolts – This known to be quite tight one, but Ryobi 400nM (as advertised here) breakaway torque took it off in +/- 3 seconds.
The jobs above are being done to a 13 years old car, in Scotland, so it is lots of seized and rust from the salty road. With that, everything come off without a glitch. Battery being used was a fully charged 5 amp 18v lithium battery. the indicator from battery level meter still says full after all of that. Very impressive, a 4 amp battery maybe the min. capacity you might want to use for a big job. A big test for this i reckon would be trying to take a (crankshaft) pulley bolt. If i am being fussy, I would say, the bright green colour won’t last as grease will got on it and you will get weird green shades. I have bought the impact wrench (bare unit) when it was 94 inc. delivery…I say it was a bargain, especially if you already have battery and charger already! Not looking back and one of the best purchase I have done in Amazon. Last note, you can get an extension of 3 years warranty FOR FREE if registering the product in Ryobi-UK website.

One of the best tools I have bought. It paid off itself in one day. Changed brake pads and discs. Very fast and easy to work with. Very good quality. Happy with nearly all Ryobi tools. This one tot exception.
It feels solid and well built as you would expect if you've ever owned any other Ryobi products. The bright colour makes it easy to spot on the garage floor – even if sometimes it can be confused for the drill – and it really feels like a premium product. One crtiticism that applies to all Ryobi tools and not just this impact wrench is that it can be difficult to clean, and dirties very easily, but ultimately it is a tool and that's always going to be the case.
Working in dark areas is a lot easier now too; I was sceptical when just trying the LEDs out in the open in the middle of the day, but once I was underneath the car removing bolts I realised the sheer brilliance of these lights, they're perfectly adequate for seeing what you're doing.
This is the perfect choice when you consider the batteries will work with any of the Ryobi range (and there's a tool for everything in the ONE+ Range!). I'd really recommend buying this item, it's very powerful and matches/outperforms some of it's more expensive competitors. What's not to love?

Verarbeitungsqualitt und erster Eindruck
Das Gert macht einen wertigen Eindruck, ist auf die unterschiedlichen Akkugren gut ausbalanciert und arbeitet relativ leise. Leider wird – wie bei den meisten Ryobigerten kein Aufbewahrungs- / Transportkoffer mitgeliefert.
Funktionalitt und Bedienung
– Beleuchtung: Die 3 LEDs an der Front schalten sich beim Bettigen des Griffschalters an und leuchten eine Zeit lang nach.
– Drehmomentvorwahl: 3 Stufen ber einen Schiebeschalter oben auf der Maschine
– Arbeitsrichtung per “Durchschiebe”-Schalter vorne ber dem Handgriff
– An / Ausschalter vorne am Handgriff – bauartbedingt keine variable elektronische Drehzahleinstellung
Fazit
Ich kann diesen Artikel ruhigen Gewissens empfehlen. Haptik und Verarbeitung sind gut. Die Radbolzen (mit 130 Nm angezogen) meines Fahrzeugs lst der Schlagschrauber, als wenn sie gar nicht festgezogen wren – absolut erstaunlich fr ein Akku-Gert! Ich empfehle zum Wechseln von Alurdern eine passende schutzummantelte Schlagschrauber-Nuss von Hazet.

Das Gert hat 3 Stufen fr die Schlagkraft, Stufe 1 nehme ich fr die Montage aber nur ganz kurz dann mit dem Drehmomentschlssel festziehen. Und Stufe 3 zum lsen.
Vom Akku bin ich total begeistert im Oktober geladen und etwas rumgespielt wegen Testen usw. jetzt Anfang Mrz ein Reserverad gewechselt und es sind immer noch 3 von 4 Balken vorhanden, nicht schlecht. Die Selbstentladung ist extrem gering.
Akku ist ein 4 Ampere Akku.
Mich hat das Gert wie eigentlich vieles von Ryobi berzeugt, hier stimmt das Preis/Leistung verhltnis! Daher kann ich Ryobi mit guten gewissen Empfehlen!

Nach 4 Jahren bin ich noch immer von diesem Werkzeug berzeugt und wrde ihn sofort wieder kaufen, er hat einfach eine tolle Leistung!
Fantastic impact wrench.it will undo wheel nuts with ease.used to replace both front shock absorbers on Nissan xtrail.the job took a quarter of the time with the help of this wrench.

Superb wrench, well built and feels solid enough to tackle must jobs however not used it in anger so to speak. Half inch drive, 3 speed with three led lights which come on when you press the trigger. Real test will be removing the wheel nuts from a large SUV!?
I haven’t been able to fully test the abilities of this wrench yet. I have a non oem battery which cuts out when the wrench is on its highest setting. At first thought I had a faulty wrench but Amazon quickly replaced it and the new one did the same. Setting 2 would not loosen my wheel bolts which had been correctly torqued up. Quite noisy but its an impact wrench. Probably great with a Ryobi battery.
Very good worked well on morning when I had a flat tyre.the led lights helped in the dark…
Very powerful tool, ideal for removing those nuts and bolts that don’t seem to want to budge.
My husband has used this tool now and is most impressed.
The other thing I used it on was 2 exhaust nuts which a garage had put on, probably with an air wrench. Previous attempts I had a 2ft bar and used the handle from my wheel jack to extend the bar further to get it off but the nuts wouldn’t budge, not helped by the car being low to the ground, but I was putting some serious torque on it.
I used the impact wrench for about 2-3 seconds on each nut and it seemed to not want to budge. They came off on the second attempt after another second or so of impacting. I was impressed.
worth every penny and saved me a few pounds on garage bills
