These tools are the best on the market they never fail to do the job I have 6 different ones now and my mate has started to buy them as he loves them too
Very easy to use glides over the surface no problem excellent product.Happy
I love this. Only tiny improvement I could imagine, would be to make it a little lighter. If you are working at height, upside down, it eventually feels heavy, even though it’s fine for most things.

This a very good labour saving device and enables one to cover a much larger area than if one had to work purely by hand. I recommend this device it enables one to do a boring job quickly.
Great little sander. Effortless and satisfying. I already have Ryobi’s drill, so this makes use of the spare battery. It does eat through the battery quickly though, so may have to invest in a larger battery if I use it often enough.
The sanding discs are brilliantly simple to install. Highly recommend.

I wanted a battery sander for ease of use outside. I am generally a DeWalt fan but for a tool I use infrequently, the price difference was a lot so I decided to try Ryobi. I have a battery adapter so I can use my DeWalt charger and batteries.
After a couple of hours use I’m pretty impressed. It seems as effective as my mains powered Bosch sander and battery life is great.
The included dust catcher is really appreciated.
You do notice the extra weight and bulk of a battery tool but that isn’t specific to Ryobi it’s just physics. It isn’t a major issue for me.
The only feature it doesn’t have is variable speed but I can’t really say I found this to be a problem.
This sander however is just so efficient, you can cover a lot of area very fast with only one pass and get the finish you desire. Wish that I had this years ago as I would have saved many hours sanding. Being battery powered it’s really easy to maneuver and there’s no power cable to worry about connected to extension leads etc.
I hooked this up to a shop vacuum and the dust is minimal.
You need a decent battery, the 5ah battery gets around 40 minutes of run time.
Great value for money and a great tool for your collection!

Only used for small projects but is a great sander, so much nicer to use without the cable of a 240v one and my battery lasts well with i
4 days of stripping decades of paint, to bare wood on our 1938 house, that has the original porch,
Sands through the paint (4 layers) , can’t reach certain areas, ie right angle corners, the only snag is you do need a spare battery, as continued use does drain the battery

Easy to handle and gives a good finish. Another good tool from Ryobi and no trailing wires.
Works very well! You will need to buy other sanding pads as it only comes with a few!
Does go through the batteries however, so make sure you have a few fully charged!

Easy to use, very effective and the dust catcher is very efficient. It is not excessively heavy which is useful as I was too lazy to take a half-height door off its hinges so was working with the sander’s full weight in my hands, arms, etc. – no problem 🙂
As part of the Ryobi ONE+ system this tool is invaluable (with the correct sanding discs) to achieve a good finish for woodwork. Recommend the 5ah battery for long periods of use though.
Would give it 5 but it sometimes feels a bit under powered. The flexibility that no cable dragging behind affords cannot be underestimated

Much better than I thought it would be. Extremely useful not having wires. Make sure to have a vacuum attached.

I was in need of a new sander as my Black and Decker one was giving up the ghost. I opted for a Ryobi +one as I already have several other tools so have the batteries already. I was pleasantly surprised at just how good this Ryobi one is!
It’s much better than the Black and Decker one (even when it was working properly!) is lightly and easy to use especially as it has no cord. The dust collection works really well, a lot less dust.
Would highly recommend this sander if you already have the +one batteries!

Alles schnell geliefert. Gert funktioniert ohne Bearbeitung von Werkstoff erstmal. Ohne Baumarkt dauert der reale Test aber noch.

I don’t understand sheerness …! Its a sander, it sands. VFM is subjective but my view is the Ryobi range is expensive.

Der Exzenterschleifer liegt sehr gut in der Hand. Es ist sehr gut mit ihm zu Arbeiten da die Vibrationen nicht zu stark sind. Er trgt ordentlich Material ab und ist fr diesen Preis eine klare Empfehlung. Wer bereits Akku und Ladegert besitzt kann bedenkenlos zuschlagen.
This product was bought to enable me to prepare door frames/skirting to repaint. Easy to use but becomes heavy with a 5AH battery attached. I have a growing number of Ryobi tools and the ability to use the same batteries on all of them is the main selling point. Not cheap to buy, but should last a diy enthusiast like me for many years to com.

It is a fantastic orbital sander which gets a fantastic finish on the first project I’ve worked with it ( a wooden pallet planter).
Likes:
– ease of use, such as sticking the sand paper down onto the Velcro, attaching battery and getting a great finish
– feels very sturdy
– did a surprisingly excellent job at collecting the dust in the bag
– looks professional
Dislikes:
– battery life was only 15 minutes on the 1.5ah battery but I understand I should invest in a larger capacity battery so not really a product fault
