Really happy with this purchase! You just have to make sure when you assemble it that the item folds away from the bed.
Oh and measure the height upwards as well as when it’s folded downwards! I forgot and when we fold it down it’s too long for the height of the bed and is like a ramp! But that’s my error not theirs!

Perfect for what we needed. I warned husband that reviews had said was difficult to put together and instructions weren’t great but he had it done in 10mins and couldn’t understand what was so difficult about it? Works great as well, just what we needed. No issues at all
This is brilliant on our deep mattress. It easily folds down. It gives me a lot of comfort knowing she can’t just roll out of bed.
I wasn’t sure that this would withstand my 2 and 4 year old grandsons – but it has. Despite fun and games at night pushing and pulling it (as witnessed on the camera in the room) it stays exactly where it should be. Definitely recommend this.
I got this for my elderly mum who suffers from dementia, she kept getting out the wrong side of the bed and getting confused in the dark, since fitted she hasn’t and says she feels much more secure in bed
Got this for our granddaughter. Didn’t want to change the mattress cos it’s a good one but very deep so found this tall guard on Amazon. Very good height. Easy to assemble. Definitely recommend
Instructions not the best but once constructed decent product so far so good our granddaughter was safe in bed
This is perfect I don’t have to worry about my child rolling around and going further away in the bed in her sleep and having the fear she’s going to drop! The length is long enough and I can sleep peacefully, so this is definitely a winner for me, folds downwards easily for temporary and just bring it back up when you feel like. It is a little flimsy but not enough to break. It’s a winner for me.
Bit fiddly to put up but managed it on my own, have to be careful bits are up the right way though!
If you have a bedside table you have to put it in, and up, further down the bed then drag it up to the pillow (although I suppose if your child isn’t little, fidgety and does not tend to sleep on the pillow like a cat it wouldn’t be a problem!!
I have this permanently in my king size bed as my granddaughter refused to sleep in the other room so when she comes it’s ready to go. Doesn’t cause any day to day problems.
I purchased this as I sometimes Co-sleep with my 9 month old if I he’s struggling to settle and I need to be up for work in the morning. It fits perfectly on our double bed with recessed mattress. I got the tall one as my LO like to try and climb over things and so far, so good! It feels sturdy and is easy to fold down. I haven’t used it for travel yet but it packs up very small and comes with a carry bag. Putting it together was simple too.
I love this bedrail so much, this is my second time buying it. I’ve recommended it to family and friends and to mothers who practice safe co-sleeping.
Some people left reviews saying it was difficult to assemble but I don’t think it is. I assembled it by myself with my toddler and 4 year old running around beside me. It’s a little bit like putting in the rods when putting up a tent.
It’s sturdy and reliable, good quality and very safe! The mesh material is breathable, safe for your child to sleep beside and it leaves no gaps between it and the mattress (unlike a cheaper portable alternative that I had bought previously)
I say buy it, you won’t regret it!
Despite having some concern over reviews saying it was difficult to build and the instructions being poor, I didn’t have any difficulty making this. It took about 15 minutes to make from taking the pieces out of the box to completion and then maybe another 5-10 to fit to the bed. We have only been using it a couple of days, but it seems sturdy enough and the 180 degree fold mechanism works fine. The bed I put it on has slats so I just had to be careful where I aligned the poles when fitting it.
Could be a foot longer and a little taller. That being said we use ours for cosleeping baby. Good for peace of mind.

Took 5 minutes to assemble once parts were put in order. Do not read the instructions watch the assembly video on youtube. Perfect rail, very tall as I have a deep mattress on grandsons bed. Would recommend but you should watch the video to make it SO much easier.
A quality item, the bedrail is well made, strong and sturdy. The instructions for assembly are clear and I assembled it in 30 minutes, no problem. The measurements were spot on and the height is sufficient to provide peace of mind. Just what we needed for our 18 month old granddaughter. I recommend this item.
A bit hard to put together but very good quality.
We got this rail since our son decided to demand to sleep in our king size bed instead of his room…We are generally happy with it although it could be bit more sturdy although I wouldn’t worry about it as long as the toddler doesn’t jump on it. Assembly process was absolutely painful so be prepared to swear a lot…especially that the manual doesn’t help (better to use YT). But once it got assembled – the rest was fine and the product is used until today…
I was unsure whether to purchase this after reading some of the negative reviews but I’m very pleased I did. The picture instructions show you what you need to do and I think with a bit of patience and common sense this went together perfectly, the right way round, the first time. I found that you just need to trust the sturdiness of the frame and tautness of the fabric will all come together beautifully at the end, when you’ve got the last joint slotted together.
I would definitely recommend this product. Its been vital in helping my toddler and the rest of the house get a good nights sleep.
1st tip-On the very first stage doing the top L shaped bars, don’t pull the fabric over the corners until you’ve connected the bar first.
2nd tip- the big round folding mechanism needs to be facing away from the mattress, so on the outside of the bed, not towards the baby/child.
3rd tip- if the fabric is really stiff to get on and you are pulling it a lot to make the bars fit, somethings wrong (I did this the first time)
4th tip- make sure the fabric is the right way round, there’s 2 holes, one for the bending mechanism thing and another slightly above, where the side bars click together, these should be facing on the outside of the guard, away from the mattress.
5th tip- when you are building it and you get to the stage of the bottom middle bar, you will be building the guard facing the wrong way for the mechanism to work (I hope this makes sense) so when you are attaching the short bars with the two ends on (letter A in instructions, the ones with the straps screwed into them) put them on backwards so they are sticking out away from you and not towards you.

I have now put it on the bed and the attachment is just a few mm short of fixing to my super king bed so I’m going to use something else to fix. It comes up really high on my really thick mattress so would 100% recommend.

We’ve been using this for months and are really happy with it. When our 2 year old stands up on the (single) bed she will shake it however it does not dislodge. She also does not try to climb over it. Will purchase another one for Granny’s house.

I have an ottoman bed frame and a mattress with a mattress topper and the frame height is the perfect height still high . I don’t use the fold down bit so can’t comment on that.
I know I can use this item again really strong , happy it came with a bag aswell to put away for future uses.
Currently using this on a king-size bed to stop my daughter rolling out if she ends up in with me. I made the strap too loose to pull it under the mattress but I feel confident just having this on the bed and knowing she won’t roll out whilst she’s there. The bed is an ottoman bed, extra deep mattress with topper so it works really well.
The instructions weren’t quite easy to understand but we managed anyway to assemble it. It fits perfectly with our bed, it’s quite easy to fold down and it comes with a bag to easily store it. It doesn’t feel too sturdy though and baby can quite easily shake it. But at least no more rolling off!
Good height against a deep mattress. Just have to watch baby always as mine likes to try and lean over the rail. Also likes to lie against it when sleeping but the mesh fabric means it is breathable so no worries there.
Once put together and secured to the bed it’s a great device to stop my toddler from rolling out. The barrier folds down 180 degrees when not in use just by pressing 2 release buttons and pulling it down. It’s taller and longer than most other similar devices here which I personally think is important just in case the little ones gets adventurous.
After a couple of months’ of use I’m very happy with it and would gladly recommend it to other families.
I purchased the taller bed guard to fit onto a new mid height cabin bed for my 4yr old son. It fits perfectly and provides the security along the exposed side of the bed, to give me peace of mind that he can’t now accidentally topple off.
Excellent bed rail, straightforward to put together and fits my super king bed which has a sunken mattress. I’m using it for cosleeping and it does the job really well, plus the travel bag will come in very handy.
I was skeptical after reading reviews but mine came with updated assembly instructions that were easy to follow. I’m glad I’d seen someone’s comment about making sure the hinges are the right way round to be able to get full 180 fold down. Fits my double divan bed with deep mattress for those co-sleeps when little one is ill and fits the single slatted base at my parents. Handy travel/storage bag. Does the job. Like it.

We purchased the guard for a new bed we bought for our Grandson when he comes to stay. The bed has a very deep mattrass and we worried about him falling out .
After reading the reviews I decided to ignore the instructions and follow a You Tube video .
This went quite well I thought, though it took me a good hour of frustration , putting it together.
When my Husband came home I was dismayed to discover after all that that I’d put the bed guard together incorrectly, and like others have said it wouldn’t fold down !
So had to start again and took it all apart. It was easier the second time, but not much!
I had got the buttons on the inside, they must be on the outside. Get it right and it’s great ,folds down easily then clicks back into position when you lift it up and best if all keeps our Grandson safe.
The bed is a small single so the safety straps were long. To solve this we hooked the strap under the base of the bed not the mattrass. You can’t see them as the bed is against the wall .
As for taking it on holidays? Not if we have to take it apart again!
Great bed guard, sturdy, good height, terrible instructions, stops toddlers from falling out of our bed. For those claiming it doesn’t fold 180 to be out of the way, they have the hinges the wrong way round (I did the same to begin with). Folds to 90 degrees one way, 180 when flipped. Good luck.

Estupendo producto el nico que va bien con camas nido ya que si usas uno normal no puedes bascular la barrera, lleva unos meses usandose y esta como el primer dia, se limpia con un pao humedo o una toallita y listo.

There are lots of reviews saying it doesn’t fold all the way down but it does. I can only imagine they did not assemble properly. At first I did put two parts the wrong way round so it didn’t fold properly but I simply switched them over and it worked perfectly.

Wonted one to go all the way to the steps on bunk beds …..this one is great …it’s more to stop the boy from getting out of bed.
Not the easiest to assemble the instructions well none existent you have to guess what goes were! I made it up back to front so check when you first do it that it’s the right way. Shame because it’s actually a great product and high enough no one will try climb over.

This was ideal for our King bed, once assembled (with the help of online videos) it was easy to put onto the bed and prevented our toddler falling off the bed many times!
Perfect item – exactly what we needed for our thicker mattress to prevent our baby from falling out of bed. Instructions were very hard to see & follow so I ended up having it the wrong way round meaning the guard didn’t collapse down to the floor so had to change it round.
Great for double beds if the grandchildren come over. Really deep and safe. Button on the ends to fold down. Only grouse would be it’s complicated to put together first time. Need better markings on each pole. Other than that it was great.

This is used on my bed for bed sharing with my 8 month old so they don’t roll out! Does what it should and is discreet when folded down. Easy to assemble and disassemble, have taken on holiday so we can continue to bed share when away from home.

The bed rail looks great and fitted well to the grandparents’ double divan bed with a 30cm deep mattress. The only negative was that it didn’t come assembled. It was quite tricky to figure out how to assemble and the instructions didn’t have enough images. Would have liked each component to be labelled rather than try to figure out what each bit was. In fairness, I am not great with flat pack and self assembling either. Got grandpa to assemble it in the end and he also didn’t find it straight forward. Hopefully the more times we assemble, the easier it will get.
This barrier works great with my bed, which is a kingsize with a very very thick mattress. I bought two, one for each side, and they are tall enough to provide proper protection over my already high mattress.
The assembly instructions that come with it are rubbish. Instead I searched for a youtube instructional video and with that I got it assembled in less than ten minutes. It is quite easy to assemble with the right video.
Once it’s built this is a great safety rail. We use it on a king size bed to keep our bedsharing baby safe. It’s a bit tricky to build though…..mainly because the instructions are absolutely appalling!!!
Am happy with this as the extra height was ideal for my toddler. Would recommend. Putting it up wasn’t as easy as I thought though.

Mi ha dato molta tranquillit in pi averlo fissato al letto. Sono per molto scomode le istruzioni,in inglese e con immagini piccole in bianco e nero su un foglietto.noi abbiamo dovuto un po’ andare a intuito pur conoscendo l’inglese.dopo aver perso un po’ di tempo x montarlo il tempo e la tranquillit sono stati guadagnati perch posso lasciarla al letto,restando o sul letto con lei o al lato senza sponda,senza doverla rincorrere ogni secondo per evitare cadute. Consiglio l’acquisto ai genitori che hanno bimbi piccoli che gattonano sul letto,ovviamente sempre controllati a vista in ogni istante.
Really good and solid and i like the fact that its really long. However it does NOT go down all the way as they have made it to look in the picture. A big minus point but its good for now.

Taille idale, toutes les barrires plus classiques sont trop petites pour notre matelas de 26cm. Mode d’emploi pas super clair, on a un peu galr au montage. Mais nous sommes satisfaits du rsultat.
Great product. The extra bit of height makes a lot of difference and more proportional for a bigger bed.mgreat if you have a baby that wants to sleep with you all the time but likes rolling.

Top tip, once you have put the middle poles together and are having trouble getting the sliding end thing on, it just requires brut strength.. I struggled but turned it on it’s end and used gravity to push it on… (lost one star purely due to assembly)
I have this on my bed so when hubby is away and I have to share my bed with two toddlers his takes up a lot less room than a pillow!!
Bed rail is brillaint. As per other reviews, instructions are useless and you are better off not looking at them and guessing how to do it yourself!
As others have said, product seems good quality, but the instructions to put it together are awful – referring to pieces that don’t exist etc. I’ve emailed the company to let them know. Hopefully they’ll resolve it.
Got this rail for a double bed with a very deep mattress. The rail comes well above the mattress unlike other rails which were too short. Only reason not given 5 stars is that the instructions were completely useless (I am pretty sure they were for a different rail altogether) so I had to guess how to put it together.
Brilliant rails. Using on a cot bed for now (140cm long) and work just fine. I’ll then transfer to full single bed once new bedroom is finished. Worth every penny though not cheap. Good quality.
