A lot of the reviews say it’s worked loose. Mine haven’t and we have two! Bottom of the stairs and bedroom. Excellent gates, toddler is strong and they’ve been reliable and safe

Fantastic gate, Def recommend following instructions to a tee as I got a bit lazy and the sticky tabs were ever so slightly out, however, even with this, very sturdy, secure gate.
I just received this item in the post and have already assembled it, took only 5 mins and a one woman job too. Very pleased with my purchase and I’m glad i can now keep my little ones away from my kitchen as well as keep an eye on them while i cook.
I got two of these for the top and bottom if my narrow staircase. I’m extremely satisfied with them. They were simple to fit and once on very secure, despite being pressure fit. I’ve tested their resilience to a forceful shaking from me and I am confident they will stand up to my toddlers and dog and protect them from falling down the stairs.
The knack for using them is simple enough to pick up as an adult. My mature five year old son has picked up the knack from our instruction and permission. However, it requires concentration from him and a bit of determination. Which is fine with me as it slows his actions down so he doesn’t go too fast.
The mechanism and pressure pads look really well made. Strong and long lasting.
No regrets buying these.

Rather fiddly to install and even though it’s called a pressure fit to make it truly secure you need to screw things into the wall so not really what it says it is. I haven’t screwed the bits to the wall and is ok I just need to realign it every now and again and it would fall off if my little one spent too much time hanging off it which he has recently started too do!

We tried a couple of ‘narrow’ safety gates before this one but had to return them as they felt unsteady. This one is solid as a rock and a good 6 inches taller than our others. Well worth the money and would have bought these for our other doors if we’d have found this one first.

The product arrived on time and as described. Installation was relatively straightforward. If I can impart any titbits of advice for buyers it is to use common sense and have patience during installation – things will come together. In my case, it initially looked as if the gaps between lock features were not going to close and meet, but after pushing/squeezing the parts closer together and tightening the fastener on the edges of the gate were were able to get the product to work properly. The gate is now safely and securely in place and… I love it!
Good solid product which fits well once you know how to fit it! Instructions are too basic & don’t include the all-important detail that once fitted, you have to keep tightening the fixings in order for the door to close. It helps to squeeze the door & frame together as you tighten to get the ‘pressure fit’. If the instructions were better I’d give it 5

A good product – I bought it to keep my dogs out of the kitchen when I am cooking. Wish I had read the instructions re: cable tie more carefully before starting to fit – perhaps this instruction could be made bolder. Very highly recommended.

An absolute pain to fit! You can get it in the doorway and tightened easy enough, but it has to be really tight at the top if you want it to close! You have to kind of pull and hold together the top while you tighten it. Other than that, it is a nice gate. Used to keep the puppies in.

We needed a narrow gate, and this one was among a handful of models that came in the right size. You can operate it using just one hand, but you need a good deal of spinach to be able to lift it up high enough.

Solid stair gate, a lot less flimsy than the others we’ve used, and perfect for slim doorways! Little one worked out the “cot bed escape” trick, so having next day delivery with Prime was a godsend!!

Does what it says on the packaging. It’s been really hard to find one to fit in our tiny doorways, so there wasn’t a lot of choice, but happily this does the job well.
We have a super narrow stairway. After buying another narrow gate which was badly designed, we returned it and bought this one. Easy to fit and works brilliantly. We will order another one now

We needed a wider stairgate that did not need to be screwed to the wall. We used this for 2 weeks in our villa and it worked perfectly. We had complete control of our small grandson.

very good stair gate, very stable, unlike others it has ‘wall’ pieces on either side which does make the opening a little narrow but it’s a better trade off than stability for what we need.
