As a fixed part of the garden inventory, the bench can be combined with a table and chair or the bench can be placed in a suitable place in the garden on its own. Elegant teak wood
Teak is by far the best wood for your garden furniture. Garden furniture made of teak wood is insensitive, durable and impresses with its stylish appearance due to its high oil and resin content. The slightly oily surface provides a natural resistance to fungal and insect infestation. Even weather influences such as sun, rain or cold can not harm the wood. Teak is a very light wood but has similar properties to oak in its hardness and density. The wood has a golden brown colour and a pronounced dark brown grain. Each piece of furniture is unique thanks to the different grains and colours. Only solid teak wood from sustainable plantations and high quality is used for our furniture.
Patina look – what is it?
A “patina look effect” is created by teak furniture that remains untreated. It forms on the surface over time a thin, silver grey layer, also called “patina”. It is then recommended to clean this furniture with the rough side of a scourer and some warm water, as well as a little household detergent. This removes various impurities, which make the patina look dark grey and creates an elegant, shimmering silver tone, which is very popular.
Care instructions for the wood look effect
If you prefer to maintain the original “wood-look effect” than wood colour, a treatment with a suitable teak oil is recommended. This is available in various specialist stores or DIY stores. However, before applying, the wood should be dry and, if necessary, free of dust and dirt. Then apply the teak oil evenly with a cloth or sponge (no brush!) applied. As the furniture darkens slightly during each passage, the whole thing can be repeated daily if necessary until the piece of furniture has the desired colour. This process should be carried out at least once a year.

Wir haben diese Bank zwischen zwei Bumen aufgehngt und sind insgesamt sehr zufrieden damit.
Pro:
– hervorragendes, hochwertiges Holz
– extrem passgenaue Verarbeitung
– farbliche Sortierung sehr ansprechend
– super einfache Montage
Contra:
– Die Schrauben an der vorderen Aufhngung stehen nach innen zur Sitzflche ber. Das ist nicht nur ein optisches Problem, sondern man kann auch beim Aufstehen daran hngen bleiben. Wir haben sie einfach eingekrzt, sodass sie bndig enden. Das Gewinde schneidet sich selbst in das Holz. Alternativ knnte man eine Hutmutter (M10 passt trotz zllischem Gewinde) verwenden.
Die Aufhngung sieht etwas windig aus, erfllt aber voll ihren Zweck. Die sen haben wir etwas nach oben umgebogen, sodass weniger Biegemoment entsteht.
Insgesamt absolute Kaufempfehlung – wir haben die Bank fr 186 hier gekauft und htten unmglich etwas von vergleichbarer Qualitt zu dem Preis selbst bauen knnen.
Sehr zufrieden mit der massiven Konstruktion und das leicht nostalgische Gefhl beim sitzen und in die Landschaft schaukeln.
Leider passt die Polsteraufkage garnicht.
