C’est la premire fois que j’ai utiliser ce type de produit sur mon MBP M1.
Et j’en suis trs content, a fait exactement ce qu’on en attend.
Il a tendance chauffer un peu surtout quand le chargeur y est connect.
Je l’utilise avec cet adaptateur magntique et c’est parfait.

Se ve elegante, de calidad y se siente bien en la manos. La transferencia de archivos y el reconocimiento es rpido, a lo mucho 10 segundos. Sin embargo, con las entradas de USD es difcil introducir algo al puerto, es duro y parece que si lo forzas mucho se puede descomponer.
Veamos cunto dura, ojal mucho, por lo pronto me gust.
Had to have this for a new MacBook Air which has two small ports. The Adaptor enables me to use older style equipment like chargers for. my iPhone and Apple Watch, and connect my screen using HDMI.
Parfait pour mon iPad Air 4. Je m’en sers pour rpliquer l’cran pour faire du Zoom pour certaines occasions. Aucun problme rencontr et dtect automatiquement. J’ai aussi essay avec un portable et fonctionne galement. noter qu’il faut un port USB-C sur l’appareil.

I won’t lie, I chose this product over others because I liked its aesthetics. I use it to connect my wireless mouse and keyboard to my Macbook Pro and so far have not run into any technical issues. It is worth noting for those with wired accessories that the ports are indeed upside down, so you’ll likely either have to flip the adapter or twist the wires to use it. It’s a truly odd detail for the company to miss.
This product would be greatly improved if it had a Lightning connection USB. There is no need for the Thunderbolt connection, as one could connecting Thunderbolt USB directly to the PC/laptop.

Needed to connect laptop to tv for zoom classes for our business so it is used daily and so far has held up very well.
It works well, does what it needs to do and has great build quality. You will not regret it.
Ziert den WFH Schreibtisch, falls nun doch das ein oder andere USB-Gert mehr an das MacBook angeschlossen werden muss. Kleiner Kritikpunkt ist die blaue LED-Leuchte. Die tut was sie soll und leuchtet. Tagsber kein Problem, im Dunkeln natrlich ein Lichtfleck mehr, der nicht sein msste. Zumal sie auch im Ruhezustand des Laptops munter weiter strahlt. Allerdings machen das alle diese Adapter gleich – egal von welchem Hersteller.

A really great adapter to my new Macbook, I can’t live without it. Perfect for printer, for TV for pen USB sticks, for everything. Looks nice, and there were no problem with it in the last months.
First saw this at school and I decided to purchase and it’s working well so far…Let’s see how long it lasts.

el adaptador funciona muy bien, es compacto para poderlo trasportar sin ningn problema, el material se siente resistente y lo he probado conectando 2 usb y trasfiriendo datos al mimo tiempo en los 2 puertos y se calienta muy poco a mi parecer lo normal.
Like the compactness of this adapter. Note: only 1 of 2 the USB ports can charge a phone. If you need to connect to a projector, consider getting the larger adapter if HDMI is not available.

Everything works well, the power passthrough is fairly weak but it works.
It works great and as intended, I use for Macbook Pro, however it is somehow made backwards or upside down compared to the images shown. Whenever I insert a usb or it has to go in upside down to fit, which isn’t terrible unless it is a large stick or attached to something that can’t be flipped.
Device performed as expected, tested all the ports and they all work. Did not get particularly hot under load (all ports plugged in), was slightly warm but less warm than my USB thumb drive.

I’ve bought 2 other usb c hubs before this, all of them died on me (stopped being detected by my computer), I’ve had this one for nearly 11 months now and it’s still working perfectly like the first day it arrived. I suggest putting in the money for the quality and not having to worry about buying a replacement ever agai
A very good port hub for USB C indeed, especially for the 2016 MacBook Pro. The space gray color matches exactly the color of the MacBook and the ports work great. I didn’t need the memory card reader slots, so I bought this version.
This is a must buy for anyone with a new macbook pro and is still a student. The hdmi port is very useful when it comes to presentations!
I just got a new Mac and am super frustrated at the additional items required. This has been a very handy tool as I plug my computer into a screen and I can use my old USB’s and power charger at the same time. When everything is being used, it can get hot but so far I’ve been happy with the product.
Everything about this I like, bought for my new MacBook to provide extra ports, plus the ability plug my usb hard drives in. Fantastic.
The product has a beautiful apple like feel, with the burnished aluminium. It isn’t heavy and can slip in a pocket or bag.
It will complement your Macbook/Air and add greater functionality, as we all find the single USB c port frustrating.
We use it to charge a Macbook pro, whilst supporting a 1TB USB3 HDD to do back ups and transfer files. The HDMI also works perfectly, connecting to a large Samsung TV acting as 2nd monitor. No drivers or set up necessary, just plug n play.
Note; It does need to be fully pushed in to work properly, otherwise you can get IOS looping (the HDD eject)

Habe mir diesen Adapter zu meinem 12″ MacBook (2017) gekauft. Das MacBook und der Adapter sind farblich sehr gut auf einander abgestimmt, sodass es gar nicht auffllt, dass es sich nicht um ein Originalteil von Apple handelt. Alle Ports funktionieren einwandfrei und ermglichen damit das gleichzeitige Aufladen und Anschlieen von USB-Speichermedien sowie der Bildschirmbertragung via HDMI. Ich kann das Produkt, auch wenn es vielleicht etwas teuer ist, wirklich nur empfehlen!
I ordered this at the recommendation of someone who works for Apple, as an adapter for my MacBook Pro. It’s nice to have a multi-function adapter–USB, HDMI, and Thunderbolt C. That being said, I sometimes find it doesn’t connect properly. I either have to disconnect the USB and re-connect, blow on the USB port (like 80’s style Nintendo games), or push in if it’s not absolutely snug in the female end on the laptop. …A little annoying.
I ordered this product about year ago, and i love it. I bought it because of HDMI and usb type B ports and they work perfectly.
Sadly about 1 month ago the adapter started to fail to deliver video and eventually stopped working. I contacted Satechi support and (Tyra) was very helpful they asked me to ship the adapter to the US, and after they checked that was malfunction they sent me a new one. I guess this happens but the costumer support was all i could ask for.
If anything, i would like to not have payed for shipment costs to US (from Portugal) this raised the “price” of the adapter.
I bought this to replace a “flush mount” connector that kept falling out. I opted for this based on reviews and the fact that it has a dongle connector. I knew I would have no worries about it just sliding out and disconnecting.
The space gray matches my MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017) perfectly!! I also appreciate how the connector is long enough that I can hide the hub behind my screen but short enough to not be in the way when I’m toting it around in my bag. I also appreciate the little blue indicator light that is beside the outermost USB port. It’s just bright enough to let you know it’s on but not so bright to be distracting in low-light conditions.
I have it hooked up to a 34″ widescreen LG monitor and it’s been working perfectly! I’ve also had no issues using it with any of my USB devices: mouse, keyboard, USB stick, portable HDDs, etc.
I will be purchasing another!
Compact, feels well-made and seems to work well so far. HDMI out works, including with an HDMI-to-VGA converter. USB ports and USB C power pass-through also work fine. It gets warm but I haven’t had serious heat issues. I’m using mine with a Google Pixelbook and one significant down side seems to be that it interferes with Bluetooth audio, although I don’t yet know if that’s a problem with this hub or with the Pixelbook.
The only disadvantage of tis device is that the power cable for USB-C isn’t at the end of the device but plugs in 90 degrees which is a bit awkward.

A gem waiting to be discovered. Works flawlessly with my 2017 MPB/TB. Highly Recommend: nicely built and high quality HDMI output with no flickering or disconnection errors as I’ve read in reviews for other hubs. I haven’t tested out the power through socket yet but by the quality of the product it seems like it shouldn’t have a problem.
My only complaint is I wished these came in Space Grey versions (EDIT: They do! The color was unavailable when I first purchased it and now I wish I had the Space Grey one instead). It looks sleek and modern. The HDMI part works fabulously (some similar hubs have HDMI video output instability problems, this one is amazingly stable). The USB-C port doubles as a charging port for my new MacBook Pro 2017 and keeps everything clean and organized. I LOVE IT!
Useful bit of kit for my new MacBook Pro 2016 for plugging in to our tv. The HDMI is a firm fit and so far well pleased with the purchase.
Ho acquistato questo hub perche’ sono spesso in viaggio da clienti e devo collegarmi con tipi diversi di proiettore, monitor, mouse, e tastiere ma voglio ridurre il pi possibile dimensioni e pesi degli accessori che mi porto dietro insieme al laptop, in questo caso un HP Spectre, che ha 1 solo USB normale e 2 ingressi/uscite USB-C. Ora uso l’adattatore da un mesetto, insieme a un piccolo VicTsing HDMI-VGA che attacco e stacco alla bisogna, e sono molto soddisfatto: meccanicamente tutto si innesta e disinnesta bene, senza gioco, inoltre si abbina bene col colore del laptop (silver praticamente identico) ed veramente molto compatto e leggero. Ho notato che scalda un pochino ma credo sia normale e in un mesetto di uso intensivo non ho mai avuto problemi. Spedizione rapidissima.
My only concern is the cable twisting and getting damaged in time, but I really don’t see how they could improve on that.
This was recommended to me by a friend who claimed it work this way for him for quite a while so far, and out of the package it certainly did for me. I hope it continues to work this well and hassle free, and if not I will revisit this review. But for the moment, this is the best one out of 5 or 6 ones I have purchased. It does get slightly warm though, but not problematically so.
Very nice quality aluminium body, no power required just plug in and done. Plug in the HDMI cable and 2nd monitor works without any configuration, USB both work as expected and of course a port for power.
I read an earlier review that suggested it was not charging very quickly, may be a fault with the unit, no issues here, charges fast, this morning it covered from 75 -> 100% in less than an hour whilst I working away on it.
Yes, it’s not cheap, they could have made it much cheaper by reducing the quality but I am glad they did not. The perfect companion for my laptop and allows me to use my device as a desktop.
It does heat up but not excessively and depends on what you are doing at the time.
Highly recommended, not bulky and because it’s USB-C and all the ports are on one side of the device you control where cables all go to best function or keep them out of the way.
Nach Jahren des Warten hatte ich das neue MacBook Pro vorbestellt und wollte nicht von Tag 1 an das gesamte Zubehr mit austauschen. In der Euphorie habe ich mich fr diesen Multi-Port entschieden. Tut was er soll gut und zuverlssig – und sieht dabei besser aus als alles andere Port-Replikatoren am Markt. Wegen dem unverhltnismig hohen Preis ein halber Stern Abzug.
Not much I can say about function except that it does what it’s supposed to do by allowing me to interface other devices with my laptop. Could maybe have done with an extra USB socket as I often need to connect more than two devices
In terms of style it looks good and matches my laptop well, but that will depend on what laptop you have
Perfect companion to the MacBook Pro 2016. It does heat up a little, but this seems to be a USB-C issue, rather than the adapter. Provides all the ports you need and although it is the same price as the Apple equivalent, you get an extra USB type A socket. Colour is more like the iPhone 6S Space Grey rather than the MacBook Pro Space Grey, but it’s a very useful bit of kit to use existing accessories
Como siempre Satechi nos ofrece un producto de gran calidad y cumple con su promesa. Parece un producto de Apple con su diseo depurado, su carcasa de aluminio y queda muy bonito al lado del Macbook Pro. Funciona perfectamente, tiene puerto de carga y buena tasa de transferencia. Solo quiero aclarar una cosa a los que queris conectar un monitor 4K a un Macbook Pro 2016: este producto trae una salida HDMI pero por desgracia la tasa de refresco est limitada a 30Hz. En realidad no es culpa del adaptador sino de Apple que limita la salidad HDMI del Mac a 30Hz. Aun as, es ideal para conectar una televisin por ejemplo donde no necesitamos ms velocidad. Si queris conectar un monitor 4K al Macbook Pro, os recomiendo un cable USB-C a DisplayPort como el de Startech. Lo he comprado y funciona perfectamente a 60Hz.
As for the adapter itself, it is very well finished and looks extremely sleek. The 2 USB ports are tight and any device connected using these ports won’t fall off or disconnect because of a shake or movement of the adapter or laptop. The USB-C port is a pass-through part and that makes it very useful indeed.
No doubt the product is a little expensive but what you get fully justifies the cost. No doubt there are other adapters at a lower price point but whether they work as well and are built to last is questionable. After all there is usually a reason similar functionality products are priced differently and that reason is quality of components and longevity.
In terms of built quality its just great, all aluminium and with a really low profile that can look really good on our set-up.
In terms of usage its pretty easy, i just connected it to the macbook Early 2016, then connected the USB-C charging adapter to the Multi Port Adapter for charging, 1x HDMI cable to my wives 4K display (LG 27UD68-W) and i still have 2 free USB typa A ports available to use with thumb drives and so on.
Now on the last pictures we may see that i used some Velcro to keep it in place on a laptop stand so that my wife can just plug in the usb cable when she is at the office and if needed to use any usb A ports they are handy and steady.
Really happy with these multi port adapters. I did try the Silver and Space Gray versions
