Good. Cars hold the road well. Lap counter handy. Dongle to connect to phone for control work well if you get them for this. Track pulls apart to easily prefer the old style track.
This is a good set for children (and grandparents!) to start. A large enough course for interest with two relatively robust cars. Good value.

A number of good tracks including a bridge. It was quick and easy to put together and the lap counter is useful. Kids just glued to it and enjoying the large enough track.
Still the same great fun I remember as a boy. Same build quality as the old sets. Quick to assemble and easy to use.

Set is good..but the original Scalextric sets of long ago were better made. Still ok product to buy.
Really good set, bought for my 2 grandsons who are 3 and 4 and using the limiters are able to enjoy racung without coming off the track, and also there is a useful lap-counter. The joins are so much better than they were years ago, really Impressed.

Bought as a Christmas for our grandson. He loves it and we’ve already had great value out of it.
In hindsight, maybe it was a bit too advanced for a 5 year old (he finds the car flying off the track and crashing somewhere infinitely amusing).
Thankfully there is a power limiter on the remotes (and it throttles the car speed) and now the cars safely stay on the track and I am not afraid he will fling a car to himself anymore (or worse, damage the car!)
The build quality is pretty good and you can make/design your own tracks, it even includes a bridge. When using the bridge, the track does work but bends in a way that didn’t make me feel super comfortable (and I avoid using the bridge now), plus sometimes the cars will get stuck on a raisin bend if it goes slow enough (looses contacts with the rail)
Bought it at Christmas for grown up sons as a fun nostalgia present, have to say with grandson age 11 & grandaughter age 7 a good time was had by all, without a phone, laptop or any screen etc really pleased!!
Also the cars seem to stay on the track better than the last time I played with Scalextric which was 20+ years ago. I thought that maybe the cars had magnets to keep them on the track better now, but I may not be right about that bit.
