This was a Birthday gift for my 2 year old Granddaughter who is many miles away unfortunately so I cannot comment on whether it was easy to assemble, easy to fold or sturdiness but I can say that it has been a great hit with her 5 year old brother.

My daughter aged 2 loves this! It does seem slightly small for her to ride properly outside though, would say its suited more to 1+ but she gets plenty use inside the house.

My almost 2 year old loves this scuttlebug, easy to fold down and lightweight so easy to take with us, the rubber wheels means she can also ride it indoors really great product.

2 year old absolutely loves it, wheels are quiet on wooden floors and leave no scratches (they’re also easy to clean after being over to the park!) Handle bars are a little low and seem non adjustable, though my son is a bit taller than the average 2 year old and it doesn’t seem to cause him any issues when zooming about the place. Overall quiet pleased.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersThe quality of this product for 20 is absolutely outstanding! My 16 month old loves this and immediately knew how to climb on and push it along with his feet.. Outside he prefers to stand up and push it along which is funny to see! He’s 40lbs and 3′ tall and this ride on is a good size for his age/abilities. I think once he’s too big for this we’ll get the next size up.
The wheels are silent so can use this indoors without a racket.

    Bargain of 2020!

It’s a bit smaller than I expected but my 3 year old absolutely loves it. She’s spent hours running over our feet, into the back of our ankles… The walls.

Very easy to fold so can take to the parks with us. Will even fit under the Yoyo buggy. Smooth ride on grass and pavement. For 20 it’s a real bargain!

It also has rubber wheels, which has a better grip on the ground, and its not noisy

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersSuch a great ride on. I think they are a great introduction to riding bikes or scooters. Small enough to ride around the kitchen table and to start quite little kids on but also sturdy enough for big kids to sit on when they visit. My favourite thing about them is that you can collapse the wheels in and fold them up small enough to pop under the pram and take them out to the park. My kids loved riding them around the local park and it meant that when we got scooters 6 mnths later, they already knew how to steer and push with their feet. They pict up scooters and balance bikes really fast and I’m sure it’s because they loved their scuttlebugs and ride them every day.

I bought this as a birthday present for a 1 year old. It’s the perfect size and seemed sturdy and well made. That said my 3 year old had a turn and he enjoyed it too, so I can see it having longevity.

I was impressed that it folds up, so handy to put in the boot of the car or to carry to the park. I’d even imagine due to the compact size it would fit in many pram baskets. They are obviously very popular as I see kids on them all the time.

    Would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis was a present sent via Amazon UK to my 3 year old grandson in Switzerland. He was totally enthralled with the ‘trike’, had no problems with quickly finding how to ride it and has spent many hours in their house and level garden ‘driving’ the trike everywhere. Highly recommend the toy for its fun level and also the exercise that results from the extensive use! And under adult surveillance it’s safe to use.

Very sturdy and in my opinion well built. Its light too

This is smart built, fun and great quality. You can hardly hear the wheels and though built for up to 3 years, my 9 year old climbed on it to show her sibling how to use it and it held her without problems. I love the way it folds so you can carry it in your backpack for great fun anywhere. My 1 year old hasn’t yet figured out how to ride it frontwards but seems to have mastered it backwards from the first day. Great purchase, not to mention delivery was faster than expected.

And the best thing is that it folds, so can take it with you anywhere and doesn’t take a lot of space. Love the variety of colours, yellow is the best one in my opinion! Even thinking to get a second one for outside, as I’m sure it would be a great fun in the park. Would definitely recommend.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWe have these scuttlebugs for each of our sons 1, 2 and 4 and they all love them. They are so sturdy my husband has rode it (wish i’d got a picture to share!) Easy to fold and store and lightweight. A big hit with us

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersMy little girl loves this bike. However if you have only carpets in the house it might be not as easy to ride on as on the wooden floor. That is one of the better birthday present she was given and it’s easy to fold it so we take it with us when we go for a play day etc.
She was given it for her first birthday but to be honest she started using it when she was maybe 14 months.

I bought this for my 20 month old son. He absolutely loves going on it. It’s easy to fold and carry around when he decides that he wants to do something else. Would easily fit into a small suitcase as well.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWhen my grandson received it in the post he screamed with happiness. It goes everywhere with him. It folds so it easy to carry. For a 2 year old it’s just perfect as a first tricycle. He finds it easy to control and is getting very fast on it. The bug is very stable.
I have one for him here too.

very nice little ride on scooter at a good price. The kids see to enjoy it and can whizz around very fast on it. Haven’t used outside yet. A major selling point of this for me is that it folds almost flat so really easy to carry or chuck in the back of the car. Cute design and the quality seems good so far.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersMy one year old loved this as his 1st birthday present. He can’t reach the floor yet, but he has worked out that if he lifts his legs out in front of him, his mummy and daddy can push him up and down until he’s fed up/we’re fed up! The trike is made really well and it’s really useful that you can fold it up, so it’s easily portable (we even put it in the pushchair basket when we go to the park). Once he’s bigger, it’ll be a great trike for him to let off steam on, so it’ll last for a few years.

We are still using this 3 summers after we bought it and long after sun exposure turned it pink! It’s quite slow as the wheels are rather small and the mechanism for the back two legs can be quite stiff – both an advantage as kids can’t easily do it so you know an adult had made sure it’s up correctly, and a disadvantage if you are not so strong (guilty). Could be greatly improved by adding a ring to the front bar for kids who need pulling along to get them started, adding a ring to the back so it could be carried like a bag would also be great. Quite disappointed how quickly it lost it’s colour.

My nephew loves this. I bought it for Christmas and we have been out on it loads. He turned 2.5 years in February half term and is now 98cm. He is probably just in the edge of being too tall for it but he likes it so much that I doubt I’ll be explain that to him! Love how small it folds so I can keep it permanently in my car.

Highly recommended…I bought this 2 years ago when my son was 1, and this is the one toy that I can honestly say he’s got our monies worth. We even took it on holiday abroad as it folds down small, didn’t take much room in the suitcase, and was a life saver on holiday, kept him occupied for hours. He absolutely loves this, and although we’ve bought him a balance bike since he’s got bigger, he still goes back to this. It’s definitely his favourite toy ever. The biggest plus is that we got it on offer at half price!!!

My son loves this, he is 15 months and at the moment can only go backwards but he does like to sit on it and be pushed around. It will take practice to steer though. I purposely bought this one instead of the scramblebug as i want him to get used to the single wheel at the front to get him ready to ride a trike then a bike. It is really lightweight and when folded down is so compact, it can go in the bottom of my pram. A good sturdy toy which i’m sure my son will get lots of use from. A good purchase.

My daughter got this when she was 18 months old and she loves it. She is now 2 and still insists on being taken everywhere on it. I use a piece of rope on the front of it to help tow her along some of the steeper inclines, but otherwise, she is fairly self-propelled. It can be a little unsteady and she has gained a few grazed knees, but then I think grazed knees are hard to avoid if you’re a child! She at least learnt to slow down around the corners.

The construction is sturdy yet light. I can easily carry it with one hand when she gets tired of scuttling around. It packs flat in a matter of about 1 minute, to make it easily stored in the car or in a buggy.

I would recommend this product and I think it is a good lead to a 2 wheel device!

I was looking for something for my little boys 2nd birthday. He loves ride on toys but struggled to steal stuff to find which direction he could go to. I saw this and the reviews looked great so thought I’d give it a go. I was a bit short notice with buying this to his birthday so was hoping for a fast delivery! Well… I had an instant dispatch email! And the next morning his bike had arrived!!!

I opened it up and LOVE the size. It’s big enough for my two year old but it’s small enough to nicely put to the side when it’s put up but something that’s even better is that the legs fold down and it goes tiny so u can store away or u can pack it up to take on holiday easily or to take out with you!

Well we wrapped it up and on his birthday he LOVED IT. It’s been a few weeks now and he still rides it every day around my house and garden. Round shops. To the park etc!

I would definitely recommend this bike!

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersI bought this in May, and my daughter was only 14 months old. She wasn’t too interested in it at the time, never went to it on her own and if I sat her on it she would stay there a few seconds then get off and toddle off to do something else. She only began walking in may too, so when this arrived she wasn’t very steady on her feet yet and I think this may have had an impact on her confidence. She didn’t feel very secure perched up on the seat.
However, around 18 months old, the scuttlebug seemed to become far more interesting. She started sitting on it herself, and couldn’t quite figure out how to make it move forwards, so would either go backwards, or would stand on the floor, holding the handlebars, and just sort of walk along with it between her legs!
She’s now 20 months old and has got the jist. She’ll jump onto it, yell ‘zoom zoom!’ and speed off around the house. I’m forever finding it in whatever room she’s abandoned it in, or being rammed in the back of the legs by it!
Occasionally it will topple over, I think this is just when she gets too excited and tried to go faster than her legs are capable of holding her steady.

It is a fantastic size, it folds up so small you can take it anywhere, and it’s not very heavy.

We’ve had no problems with it being too small for her. Saying that, she’s very small for her age, however I do think it’s going to be perfectly useable for a while. I’m expecting it to get a lot of use in the garden and on walks next summer.

I would say that it’s better when they’re at an age where they’re steady on their feet and confident with walking, it requires leg power and coordination for them to move.

ordered one these in red for my son on Sunday and although it said it would be delivered on Friday it came Tuesday! Which I was really pleased about, my son is 2 and it’s perfect for him, he loves it!
The fact that it folds into a small compact shape is great, it means he can take it everywhere!
I would definitely recommend this product, for the price it’s fab and is definitely going to get a lot of use out of it!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy 18 month old loves this, we take it in the car with us if we are going out to a park or walks (it’s a hassle getting the thing off her, meltdown!) Wasn’t sure after reading some comments about it being too small for some people’s kids but I don’t have that problem and my girl is quite tall for her age. Would definitely recommend this and the price is great, folds down so can be taken easily anywhere. Every little girl should have a scuttlebug!!
