So far I haven’t found anything
    to complain about this product
It didn’t take long to arrive.
Have used it for changing my car radiator and this was invaluable for getting into spaces where some of my other tools couldn’t reach. So I can’t say anything but good about it.

Sealey 3/8″ drive battery ratchet wrench is so much better than I expected, its sturdy yet light weight, the trigger is so responsive and you can operate the ratchet at really low speed. The battery life is very good and the battery indicator is a good touch too along with the led light. It all comes in the very handy strong material carry case too, its awesome.

This thing is so handy as the old saying goes “How did I manage without it” lol I already have the Light which takes the same Battery so I thought I’d give it a go, Brilliant Tool added to my collection, Now Looking at the Mop if a nice supplier would send me one I’d be really grateful.

Absolutely brilliant! As a car mechanic this makes life a lot simpler, and speeds the job up! Especially in those hard to reach areas! Great valve for money and as good as top end brands 10/10. I have used this on a daily basis for a good few months now and it hasn’t let me down.

Great tools, very handy in a workshop. Sadly the ratchet started skipping after a few months use

Surprisingly powerful and feels nice in the hand. Battery lasts rather well also. Doesn’t look like it could take many drops tho but all in all im very pleased with this purchase

Feels a bit cheap but works very well. You may have to nip bolts over M6 with a spanner but useful tool to have

Arrived quickly, it feels quite well made, nice weight to it and it’s sturdy, powerful enough for a small tool, it is a bit rough sounding when operated but that doesn’t bother me, great value considering you get the tool, 2 batteries with a charger and a large canvas bag that has extra space so you can put your socket set and extensions for the tool in there with it.

Really pleased with this. The battery life seems to be excellent and the torque available seems adequate. Saves time particularly where the back and forward motion of a regular wrench is restricted. Not a ‘must have’ item but certainly worth having.

Bought for husband, it makes his life so much easier when he’s out working on the car. Charges quickly, good battery life and he’s chuffed to bits with it, it was a good value and excellent tool to have.

I know nothing about this, but my husband mentioned wanting one so I bought it as a gift. He was over the moon with it and has used it multiple times without any complaints.

Done several jobs in tight working areas and it saved me lots of time and arm vatigue , well worth the cost just on the jobs I’ve used it on so far. Have not had to charge as yet .

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a great piece of kit for the price, I’ve done so many jobs with it, from taking apart my car dashboard, trim bolts, car lights and light engine work, even household door locks. It has saved me so much time, I wouldn’t want to do a job without it. Note that this tool is no good for cracking bolts, you should always use a small breaker bar and you should also be careful to lower the speed of the tool when winding bolts back in, in order to minimise strain on the gearbox. I gave 4 stars for this tool as unfortunately the gearbox in mine packed in after about 6 months of moderate use. But it does come with a 1 year warranty so I simply had it returned without fuss. I loved the convenience of this tool so much that I went ahead and ordered another one. If yours breaks outside of warranty, you can actually buy gearbox repair kits on the Sealey website and if you’re lucky, it’ll just be one of the small/cheap aluminium gears that needs replacing. I recommend it for any DIYer.

Been looking at one of these for a long time, and finally bought one as I am doing an engine rebuild. I was a little sceptical as to it’s benefit but as soon as I started to use it, it quickly became clear that it was way more useful than I though.
It’s a tough built bit of kit, that doesn’t feel like its going to let you down. It also makes taking out difficult to access bolts etc a lot easier as the tool does the work so you can just hold it on the best position and pull the trigger! It also cuts down on fatigue too.
This is my No.1 go-to now and wish I had bought one sooner.

    Good battery life
    I like the led torch
It has an impact action which helps shift stubborn nuts and bolts. Doesn’t need impact sockets though.
It won’t shift really stubborn bolts so you’ll need to start these of with easing oil and a lot of effort. Once started though this driver will get it off.
    Great product.

This tool has saved so much time and effort, even for me as a hobbyist i couldn’t imagine how much time it would save a professional mechanic. of course, you can’t expect to be using it to rattle off tight bolts or anything like that its not designed for that its meant to be used like a traditional ratchet then you use the drive to run the nut or bolt the rest of the way off the thread.
i would 100% recommend this tool to anyone, i would be lost without it now as it saves so much time especially on jobs where you are removing something like an under tray with loads of screws for example.

Hard to beat value for money this package gives! Third of a price compared to M brand.
Feel solid and strong, well built!
Amazing delivery from Amazon, UK to Sweden in 4 days, door to door!
Very happy with the whole buying experience, very highly recommended!

Very good product, used this for a diy project and speeded the job right up. Really good value for money and I will be getting other products from the 12v range. Only problem I ran into was it managed to snap a thermostat bolt, however that was partly my fault. Don’t expect it to undo high torqued bolts but great for most, sometimes if you’re able to crack it loose using it as a normal ratchet then using the trigger to remove the rest of the bolt.

Since buying this I’ve used it several times and I can’t fault and it cuts time in half especially in the very hard to reach places which is the reason I bought in the first place it maybe a little more expensive than the cheap Chinese ones but definitely worth the little extra because the torque is better and is what it says it is and battery lasts alot longer so if you’re going to buy a cordless ratchet make sure it’s one of these because you won’t be disappointed

I wasn’t expecting much of this product as used to other big brand big priced tools but so far this product is working very well for what I need.
It’s not going to undo tight bolts but perfect for under trays, inner wheel arches and things with lot of screws or bolts.
    This speeds things up.
As for the battery once again so far it is lasting a whole days work before a charge.

Impressively cheap ratchet, tightens to around 39nm, has variable power control when used, a bright work light and looks similar to Milwaukee. I work in a garage so it’s had a lot of use, and the only downside is battery life. But with 2 batteries and a quick charge you’ll never be out of power. Well worth the money.

I had this for about 6 months and is still as good as new. Very usefull for tight spaces and on screws/nuts where you don’t want the impact, just rotation. Battery life is good enough, anyway it comes with 2 batteries. I have used it as diy on occasions , not professionally every day. I also have at work a 1/4 inch milwaukee electric ratchet and as a comparison the Sealey rotates slower although on paper they have similar rpm you can see/hear the difference. Anyway worth the price

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersThis tool was purchased on the 17th of December 2019 & has had dvery light use now has a dead battery due to the following outcome
Used first battery then came to charge it up & the charger is faulty showing green lights & red both lights flashing together after the battery is inserted & will not Charge I contacted Sealey who did reply but they said it was either the Battery or Charger & said as its consumables I will need new batteries !!
Useless company to deal with & their customer care is a shambles I have been a loyal customer over the years but that is about to end after their sheer bloody ignorance of a problem of their own making !!!

Great little addition, helps with some of the interior trim and engine rebuilding tasks, makes jobs alot easier and quicker, I reccomend you crack off with a ratchet or bar first tighter items, and the same with doing up you want to to nip up with a bar, ratchet or torque wrench, but for that time of stood there ratcheting a ratchet backwards and forwards it can help same time substantially.

Great bit of kit, well made from a trusted brand. Got it as a kit with 2 batteries and carry bag and as a special discounted offer so a real bargain. Wish i had got one years ago. A useful addition to any mechanics toolkit and saves time and effort. Makes awkward space restricted jobs so much more easy and doable, recommend to all. Buy it, use it, love it. Hopefully will last.time will tell, but looks like it will.

I have been using this item to help restore an old car. I wanted something that I could use along side my impact wrench but not as harsh. The item has been amazing with things like sumps taking no time at all. Battery life has been better then expected.
Makes those long labour intensive fixes quick and simple.

Waited till it had done a bit of work before reviewing. Must say I am impressed used in a harsh environment working on large Diesel engines. Surprised at how much torque it has even on tight fittings you can use it like a manual ratchet and then just press the lever and spin them off saves a lot of time and great when space is tight, battery last ages and having 2 always one available charged and ready, price wise can’t fault it as it is just as good as my mates 250+ Mac Tools one.

Bought this because I’m starting to suffer wrist problems and using a manual ratchet can be painful. Just use as a speed tool though. It’s not strong enough to be used like an impact gun.

I do all my own work on the car and I’m very happy with this. I’ve seen the odd review criticising lack of power (torque) but it’s not designed to undo torqued up nuts (or nip up) – it’s designed to take the effort out of undo nuts once free or do them up to the point at which you’ll get the torque wrench out. That said it none the less has adequate torque for nuts that are offering some resistance due to dirty threads etc. This is not an impact wrench!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersBrilliant tool, don’t be fooled by its 12v battery, it has plenty of power. Used it to remove gearbox and saved me loads of time, as others have said gearbox bolts need cracking off first but more than capable on rocker covers, battery clamps etc. The light is very well positioned to light up area you are working in.
Wish I brought it years ago!. No more air lines getting in the way when working in tight spots.
    Quality feels good too.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is excellent for brake servicing, where the bolt access is tricky. Far easier putting the caliper sliders back in with this. Even when access is no problem, like fitting the coilover top mount, it’s faster than a standard ratchet. It doesn’t over-tighten, which means you can use the torque wrench after with confidence. The bag is too big, though and I prefer a moulded case for my power tools, for neater storage. Now I have the charger and two batteries, I may buy the impact wrench body.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersVery well made ratchet, I bought it to slacken and tighten hard to reach bracket nuts and bolts while working at engines etc, I use it for all small fixings now. It has knocked a considerable amout of time off doing clutch and gearbox jobs, eg- clutch plate bolts, bellhousing bolts and such. Not massively powerful but decent enough for removing and refitting 8mm to 17mm nuts and bolts quickly.
Been using for a month now in a professional setting and its going strong, usually only have to charge the battery once every 2 days but because theres 2 battery packs, I’ve always got a fresh on on standby.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersBrilliant for less than 100 !!
Very noisy out of the box, but put a couple of drops of a good quality engine oil and wipe it like mad and it stops sounding like a m@chine gun ! It’s only rated at 33 Lb/ft – but for sumps / rocker boxes / all the M6 bolts that hold Engine under trays on it’s worth it’s weigh in gold ! (Don’t use a zip gun – air or battery else you will be drilling threads out for days ! This is powerful enough for these repetitive jobs – give it a go !!)

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersFirst off, this kit / tool isn’t designed to loosen or tighten a nut or bolt like an impact gun would. If that’s what you need, then buy the appropriate tool. It only has 45Nm / 33lb.ft or torque, no it’s not a lot, but the whole point of this great tool, given it has a ratchet built into the head, is to firstly crack the nut / bolt loose, then pull the trigger to wind it out the rest of the way, saving you the time on your manual ratchet doing it yourself. Don’t expect this to loosen & remove stubborn rusty suspension bolts & the like, the tool isn’t designed to do that & there’s no way it ever could.

It’s a cracking price, both my batteries came almost fully charged, the charger is a 1hr quick charger, the ratchet head where you put the socket is nice & narrow, allowing you to get into confined spaces, it also has an LED pointing directly at what your socket is on, the batteries are also fairly small, so making access to difficult to reach spaces even better. You get a canvas back too which is way bigger than the kit, but will no doubt come in useful at some point.

Golden Review Award: 72 From Our UsersIf you like working on cars, you’ll love a ratchet wrench and wonder how you managed without one. If you don’t know (forgive me if you do), the big difference between a ratchet wrench and an impact wrench is the action:

An impact wrench uses a hammer action to hit the nut or bolt loose. You must always use impact sockets to avoid them shattering and those sockets will be 6 point as 12 point will ruin the nut or bolt head. Impact wrenches are great for undoing stubborn fittings, but next to useless for tightening them as they will never be at the right torque. A 450nm impact wrench will easily remove wheel nuts, but will put them back on at 4 times their torque value!

A ratchet wrench, however, doesn’t use a hammer action at all, just a simple turning action, just like a normal socket set wrench. Therefore you put much less damaging hammering action on the nut/bolt and can use 12 point non-impact sockets AND when tightening, you put much less damaging torque so won’t strip the threads.

In use, just like a normal socket set wrench, you use hand force to loosen the bolt. Once it starts to turn by hand, you then press the button and the head spins and undoes the bolt completely.

The reverse is true: Press the button until the bolt is fully tightened and the wrench stops turning and then finish it off by manually applying force just as you would with a hand ratchet.

Because you don’t have to manually make the ratchet motion, it is also great for confined spaces. As long as you can fit it over the bolt, that is the only space you need. Press the button and the bolt undoes. No need for lots of space either side whilst you try and undo something. It will breeze through engine covers or undertrays – anything where there are a load of nuts or bolts. They just fly off. You really will wonder how you managed without one. It’s probably my favourite tool and certainly the most useful

The lithium battery holds it charge even when stored so it’s always ready and you get a spare battery anyway.

It’s well made and a great accessory for any mechanic.
