I loved this oven being large, but it has some major problems that needs a lot of getting used to.
Main problem is, it is not heating as displayed. I used to bake cupcakes at 180, now I use 200-210 on this oven. Pizzas used to be baked at 200, now I push it all the way up to 230.
Second one is the fan. The fan does not work effectively, when cooking bread the top and bottom crisps well but the sides never get as crispy. Also you will have to switch in the middle if you are baking two pizzas at the same time.
Other than these I love the inner light- it is really bright, the door never gets misted, it comes with a cute pizza stone. Also the quality of the tray and rack is very good. The timer is a bit annoying, if you need a quick heat up, you will struggle adjusting the timer, it doesn’t show between 0-20 minutes.
I wouldn’t buy this oven again but still happy with it. While it is a 4 star to me, 3 stars for the misinformation.
Ideal for quick oven tasks. Our built-in oven is now only used for large family meals. My wife and I do everything else in this counter top oven.

I am in love with this oven. It’s bigger than I expected and since I live by myself it’s perfect.. i’ve only had it a couple of weeks, cooked a chicken and I’ve had a pizza all turned out wonderful I’m serious this is a great gadget.
Heats up quickly, very proficient cooking however, there is no indication when oven reaches the required temperature, so there is some guesswork required as to when oven is “temperature ready” but it is quickly.
My old cooker oven takes 15 mins to be ready at 200C and then 20 mins cook time. What I have learned is that this Severin 2058 oven completes the prep + cook time in a TOTAL of 20 mins. Much much quicker and proficient. But, as I say, some initial guesswork until you get to know the oven.
It works well.I wanted it because it has a larger capacity than most of this type of oven.The temperature was okay,and there are no concerns in that area.You can usually see when food is properly cooked.And I always test meat.It is very convenient as my larger baking trays fit easily.
This oven is amazing I love using it, I don’t bother using my main oven anymore definitely recommend this
The oven is very easy to use. My normal oven gave up on me after many years of use and I needed a replacement until I can get another oven. The oven is doing the job of a normal size oven and I am happy.
Great combination of grill, oven and rotissary. It heats up quickly, maintains temperature and the dial selectors for function and temperature are easy to use. It has a timer function, or can just be switched on. Unsurprisingly it does need space, the casing does get hot, but the door handle remains cool to the touch. It cools down quite quickly once it’s switched off. Easy to clean interior and well finished exterior. The pizza stone is a nice addition too. All in all great value for money.

I just love everything about it. I read some negative reviews before I bought it. But since I’ve had it I don’t know what people were on about. It cooks everything I’ve put in there perfect without burning. I love it.
Plenty of variable heat settings plus accessories. Removable spit roaster is clever. The door could be a better fit but generally pleased with this ove
My main oven karked it and I needed something to use. I had a look on Amazon as I needed something that would be a quick delivery. I am so pleased with this oven. I can cook almost as much in this as I could in my old oven…I like it so much I’m not going to buy another main oven. This is great to use and uses less electricity. I just need a twin hob and I’ll be set.

This is a great oven which is easy to use and keep clean. Warms up quickly and has several useful accessories. Reasonable price and good size too. Arrived two days earlier than anticipated which was a bonus.

Does everything it says on the tin. Delivered on a Tuesday, On the Wednesday I baked two full sized loaves of bread. and a big egg custard tart. Using the Severin oven it cooked to perfection.
Bought for my elderly mother who has some visual impairment – delighted with it and worktop placement gives great ease of access
She has resumed baking & cooking with added confidence for me that timer function ensures automatic cutoff & safety

Arrived on time, really happy with this little oven does everything I need an oven for, made a lovely carrot cake also roast beef and roast potatoes in it, seems to be working efficiently so far, havnt had it very long so time will tell, so far happy.
We have a cavernous 90cm gas oven as our main cooker which is great for a large roast but not economical for cooking small amounts/heating up pizzas etc so we bought this little oven for these jobs. We have had it since October and it has been a great piece of kit. It heats up quickly and we have had no issues with the temperatures; I have checked with an oven thermometer a couple of times and the temperatures were correct with the setting. The large glass door and interior light give great visibility as you cook and you can fit an astonishing amount into this oven. It works like a dream and has cooked everything we have thrown at it really well. I have also done some baking in it (biscuits) and it cooked these perfectly. The exterior does get warm while in use but I use the top as a plate warmer which works really well. I am not sure if you are meant to do this but it has caused no problems so far. My only niggle is that I really wish the grill pan came with a rack/grid. I did should have clocked this when I bought the cooker so it’s my own fault. The problem is that trying to buy a compatible one is almost impossible and I have not had much joy contacting Severin – my email bounced back as undeliverable. Apart from this I am delighted with the oven and I would buy it again even without the grill rack.

I use to cook and grill it’s realy great easy to use and big enough for several items at a time
So far we have had a good experience from this oven. It’s simple to use and has lots of room inside. As other reviews have said the wire shelf is a bit flimsy so it will drop if you put a full lecruset casserole on it.
I have used this product for general baking/roasting while my cooker has been out of action and I would recommend. It has an inner light which is great for keeping an eye on things.

Very easy to use, heats up really quickly and I think it cooks quicker than a conventional oven, so you may need to adjust timings in recipes. I’m really happy with this, but be aware you definitely need a good amount of clearance above as it gets really hot. Otherwise I’m a very happy custome

I haven’t personally used it as I got it as a present for my grandson’s birthday. He’s very pleased with it, how quickly it heats up in comparison with an oven and how nice the food is. It does get very hot apparently and it would be sensible not to use it underneath a wall cupboard for instance. On the other hand, you can warm the plates on top of it as it cooks..

Unfortunately, she can’t use it, so she just returned it to me today.
It has never been used, back in it’s box.

I really like this product. It is a decent size and heats up quickly. The heat is distributed evenly and it is so easy to see what is happening inside the oven. The timer function is very accurate and convenient. Just be warned that the exterior gets very hot so don’t keep it near any cupboards

I bought this as my main cooker is a noisy fan assisted, second hand piece of rubbish! Wasn’t expecting such a fantastic, easy to use, straight out of the box oven. I bought the convection oven and the only sound I heard was the “ping” when finished. I recommend this product!
I like it cos very handy, use it just for making cakes .
Also did this weekend an amazing chicken roast came perfectly!

This oven literally rocks , I have a 9,000 Rayburn range ( or at least did have before a House flood) and this oven is only slightly smaller than the oven in the Rayburn and works so much better , it is virtually silent even in fan or rotisserie mode , it looks great and and cooks even better , and cost 1.54% the cost of replacing my Rayburn , Severin is a Quality brand that I’d never heard of but I’m glad I have now

We’ve been using this oven for a good couple of months now and I am really pleased with it. I’ve baked cakes, biscuits and cupcakes in it and they have all come out pretty good. I’ve roasted meats and they were fine. Even better the inclusion in the package of a pizza stone has led to us making our own pizzas at home and they come out of this oven so well with wonderfully crisp bases.
The downside is that setting the temperature is a bit hit and miss as it is only graducated on the dial for certain temperatures. I am considering purchasing an oven thermometer as I am pretty sure it is not hitting the pre-set temperature when selected on the thermostat and is running a little cooler. However, I use this on fan setting all the time and have found that if I deduct only 10 degrees from a standard oven temperature (usually I would take 20 off for a fan oven) it pretty much hits those recommended cooking times.
Fits well on the work surface in the kitchen under the cabinets. Has a good bright light in the oven cavity so you can see your cakes rise and your biscuits brown without opening the door and letting all the heat out. Not used the timer function yet, because I tend to be making several things in a row I just turn the dial to the left for permanent on and crack on.
Great unit and large enough to easily cook for a family of three. Just a shame about the temperature issues.
Does the job. A bit slow but useful when you have a lot of cooking.
I am using it for absolutely everything, baking, roasting, grilling. Safe my life when my build in oven broke down.

a great oven thermostat very accurate sides don’t get too hot, surprisingly quiet. only minus, the rods are not the best way to grill, but most small ovens use this system these days but great vaue for money and buying extras is easy as it’s a standar”d size 15″x 12cooks pizza perfectly,joints to perfection, and has cooked last two xmas dinners with no problems, and NO shattered glass!!
The oven is bigger than my last. It is very smart in appearance and easy to use and clean. Very good value.

Update: We have been in contact with Severin in Germany and is more than possible that this is a counterfeit product made in china. Now under investigation by the company.
RESOLVED : It was a Severin oven and the company have been first rate at owning responsibility – Sending me a replacement door and seal. The issue apparently was that some packaging provided around the product, did not protect the door successfully and if the product got a sideways blow or pressure, it could affect the integrity the door. The oven works beautifully now and doing its job well. Thank you for your help.

This is the best one I have bought for size and usability
The only down side is the fan, it goes through a whistling faze as the unit heats, which may mean a problem with the bearings in the future, but this should present itself more obviously with the guarantee period.
One small snag: the handbook supplied is of small print; not helpful to the sight impaired. My wife required a magnifier to read it easily. But I was able to visit the Severin website and download the manual. It is in pdf format so I was able to print off the five ‘English’ pages, magnified to suit A4 paper.
After experience of using the oven for a few weeks, it gets top marks. The ergonomice are superb; both I and Mrs A find it a joy to use, even with arthritis in the hands. Although more expensive than the rest, you get value for money.
14Jan16 > Since my purchase, several kind questions have been about capacity. It might help to know that a lidded roasting tin, of o’all length 36cm by 23cm wide and 15cm high fits easily if angled (plenty of depth). See pictures. Replacement oven light bulbs are easily obtained but a bit fiddly to fit. Problem solved by holding the bulb in a cardboard tube stuffed with tissue paper; don’t force it.
Heats up well, holds a steady temperature. Easy to use.

Cooked a large roast chicken well, although I couldnt use the rotisserie function as there wasnt enough room for the chicken to rotate without catching on the drip tray. That may just be because it was a large bird. I will try it again with other meat joints, but all the other features work perfectly.
