Just what we needed and folds into a compact unit when not being used.. Cleans well and the variety of attachments is good. Battery needs regular charging but that’s no drama.

Well made and it perfoms very well. Battery life seems to be good. The only negative is, it’s quite heavy, but I guess this is a result of it being well made.

I knocked off a star as I didnt get all the accessories pictured. I had to buy them separately. Other than that its great. Suction and battery power are very good. I never rated these cordless vacs but seeing this one in the sale I thought I would try it. Pleased I did. The old Shark corded vac is in semi retirement now.

I’ve had this as a secondary vacuum cleaner and a Dyson V10 pet and now can compare. The Shark’s brush is easier to clean than Dyson but quite heavy and a joint has already slightly broken due to its weight and sideways maundering (don’t try to push the brush at the end sideways and rather twist the head right and left so it turns). There’s significantly less suction in Shark but still manages to pick up stuff from the floor and if you run out of juice just replace the battery to continue as opposed to Dyson which needs to recharge first.

Had it for just over a year. So much better than the Dyson we had before. Suction is excellent. Battery life is excellent plus the fact you can change the battery if needed is a great bonus as opposed to waiting for a non-detachable battery to recharge.
    Yes I would recommend

But I have issues with one of the battery packs & the pet hair head developing a fault. Fair enough, I range Shark & the items were replaced, no questions asked but it would have been less hassle if everything had worked well from the start. Great pick up, though, easy to use – MUCH better than the pet hair Dyson it replaced. Worth the money, overall I recommend i

I’ve hated vacuuming all my life but with this vacuum I do it with pleasure! No cord to get tangled up in. No heavy canister to drag around. The articulation is perfect for hard to get to places. The Anti-Hair brush roller is a dream and it is so easy to empty and stow….can only recommend

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGood product initially but very disappointed at the lack of a consistent approach by Shark’s aftersales service.

My Cordless Vacuum cleaner is just coming up to a year old and the ‘wand’/handle has failed.

I’ve tried contacting the customer services team and they just forwarded a link which just asks you to repeat what you said in your first email.

Have also contacted the CEO and no response there either.

Good product but terrible aftersales service considering how much you pay for these products.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersSimple to unpack and put together. Simple to learn to use. Easy to empty.
I managed to hoover bedroom, bathroom, hallway and stairs with a single battery. Battery using some high power setting lasted around 15-20 minutes. I would go for the two battery version to do the whole house.

I like the ease of use. The modern look. The way you can steer the head around furniture. I bought this to do the stairs as corded is awkward. This does the job perfectly.

If I had one criticism is that it’s hard on the hand and wrist due to the weight. Not heavy but does hurt after long use. Not good for someone with weak arms, hands.

I am very happy with it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is the best stick vacuum I have owned. It has very good suction and the ability to fold it down for storage is brilliant. The battery run-time is excellent, and having two, one in use and one charging, means cleaning time is doubled. When there are people in the family with long hair, the anti hair wrap is extremely useful. I would definitely recommend the Shark.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersSpent a lot of time researching this as it’s a lot of money to sink into a vacuum cleaner. Honestly, worth every penny – here’s why:

Battery life – this one was the big worry for me. It’s exceeded every expectation. Rotating two batteries in the dock is ideal and I’ve never had a situation where I’ve had to use both to hoover every room in a 4 bed house.

Suction power – I’ve been running this for nearly a year now and it’s showed no signs of slowing down. It has optional modes for hard floor or carpet which make a huge difference.

Ease of use – the design and practically of this thing is off the charts. It’s insanely comfortable to use (I’m 6’4 so quite picky) and not back breaking. It’s flexible/adjustable and makes hoovering feel less like a chore.

Attachments – every attachment has multiple uses and work perfectly. There’s one for skirts/corners, the full vacuum standard one, a smaller brush one for stairs and a couple more. They’re all perfect for their respective jobs.

Shark customer service – I’ve had one slight issue (smashed a piece of plastic off, turned out to be superficial) but the shark customer service help desk were fantastic and we had it sorted immediately with no stress.

Easy maintenance – you can pick up a pack of filters/inserts etc for around 20 and that’ll easily last you a year or two. I’ve only had to switch them once.

Switching to a cordless vac seems like a small thing but with kids and pets around the house I’d highly recommend you making the investment. It just makes keeping on top of everything so much simpler.

5.0 out of 5 stars The only vacuum cleaner worth your money

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGot this because Henry was killing my back! Used it several times so far and all good. Suction is good (even with dog hair). It’s a tad heavy in the hand but not excessively. Easy to run around and steer around things, easy to clip and unclip the attachments. Battery lasts well so far only needed to use one for whole house (4 bed) but if used on high power uses slot more. Only one gripe so far is the hinge on the main shaft feels a bit loose and weak, it works ok but worried it will give up like someone else commented. Still, I’ve registered for the 5yr warranty so that should sort i

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersGreat cleaning, lots to like — such as the dual batteries, variety of attachments, variable suction. I can compare it with our older model Dyson cordless stick vacuum: it cleans better, especially on hard floors, but it’s quite a lot heavier. Battery life means it’s possible to do a proper spring clean and the display tells you how much power is left. The headlamps are useful too for spotting what’s in dark corners and under furniture. Emptying it is a bit of a messy task sometimes but if you’re lucky the dirt slides out, albeit with the usual “cloud of dust” problem of bagless cleaners. Bottom line: I’m glad I bought it.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersI loved my Henry hoover for the wooden floors and used a dyson for the carpets. These were both over 10years old so had probably seen better days. They are both cumbersome, so researched for a new hoover to replace them.
I have animals and a large space to clean so I am expecting a lot. When I received the new shark I had already vaccumed but excited to try out my new expensive purchase I ran the shark over the recently hoovered rug and utterly amazed at the amount of animal hair it collected. I read a review that the plug in shark has more suction power than the battery operated but by the time I had finished re-vacuuming I needed to empty the container.
I need both batteries for my 5 bedroom house so pleased I went for the dual battery option.
The only negative is that I have had to unblock the pipes twice. However this was easy to do and didn’t take long.
Hope this is helpful and happy vacuuming.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEdit: the “flexology wand” hinge on one of our vaccums broke 13 months into the regular household use. Just waiting for the other one, which is used slightly less, to go now as it appears to be a very common issue. 30 to replace the part, which according to reviews, lasts anywhere between a month and a year. Great idea but poorly executed. Another design flaw causes the entrance to the waste container to get blocked with dog hair with pretty much every use even if the container is not full. Still great battery life and accessories but pain in the backside due to the design flaws

My partner and I bought one of these each for our households, after battling with hair and mud spread around the houses by our three dogs. Even though we had a one year old vacuum cleaner each (different brands), also marketed as excellent for pet hair, which coped fine with our one dog at the time, once we’ve added two big hair-shedding furballs to the mix, we started to struggle. This review is based on two of this model used daily for a couple of weeks. So far: suction seems good, battery life excellent (managed to hoover the whole of downstairs on 40% it came with initially!) and so far, only had to dismantle and unclog it once, compared to every 5 minutes with the other two brands. It’s easy to empty, the dual-battery charger is neat, and it’s not too noisy, the smaller pet-brush is great for soft furniture and stairs.
Things to be mindful of: it’s heavy, I’m yet to find a way of using it on smaller rugs/bathroom matts without sucking them in, the hypo-allergenic attachment seemed great for dusting furniture but appears to be smearing it more than removing it (again, dusts builds up quickly with the three dogs) but all in all, a great purchase. Also great: it came in paper and cardboard only packaging, not a single plastic bag inside!

I was surprised at how good this product works. The extension with the 2 rollers really takes the dirt from the floor (it even took some rubber from a toy o the way! ). The hair is smashed and cut by one of the rollers so you don’t need to take care of it.
Also, the suction power is high. It may be a bit misleading as the carpet and rugs cleaning rely on the rollers ( the suction power is strong behind the rollers and not external) but it does the trick far better than the conventional vacuum cleaner based on suction only. With the other accessories you can feel the entire strength of the suction.
Overall, I believe the product is better than a Dyson cleaner and is at a better price for the consumer.

I love this cleaner which is doing all I expect from a vacuum cleaner and cordless is just the way I like it. The lights in front are great when coming to dark spaces like under tables and beds.
    I recommend this to anyone.

Had almost a year now and today I gave it a good clean. Popped out the rollers, washed the body/head and cleaned filters. I live in a fair size 2 bedroom place with stairs, there’s me my wife and 4 year old Girl so there’s always plenty of hair to hoover up. This Hoover is bloody fantastic, just can’t see how people give it a low rating. I was reading one guy saying anything bigger then dust size particles it don’t pick up lol, that’s utter rubbish. I always have it on setting 2 never need to go to 3, I use the rug option when I need to, It’s so very versatile with how you can interlock it into different positions and how you can fold it all down to store. I have 2 batteries so one is always ready when this one go’s flat I also use it to hover the cars. Don’t let the bad reviews put you off. Batteries last a long time and I can quite easily hoover my place three or four times before needing to charge.

    Fantastic Vacuum .

Been using this for 3 months now and it is such a good vacuum cleaner. Easy to use, very light and picks up dirt well off hard floors and carpets. Easy on stairs too. Battery life is more than enough to do our 3 bed semi, external annex and garage. I’ve had massive problems in the past with rollers getting jammed with hair. In 3 months use, there is not one hair on this roller. Amazing. Highly recommend this.

Fantastic machine well made easy to use, it has really good suction. Great for a one-bedroom flat. The claim that the battery has 60 minutes run time did not prove true just using the default setting. This model Shark is not at all suitable for a house with stairs. Will reluctantly have to return it. Thought of solving the problem by getting additional batteries for each floor. plus accessories – it only came with a crevice tool and a general-purpose brush
However, This made the machine comparatively expensive when the batteries are 79 and were out of stock

I have been interested in the Shark vacuums for a while and bit the bullet with this model as it was on offer. I haven’t regretted it. The anti-hair wrap technology is great and I haven’t got/had any hair caught around the mechanics. I did look on the Shark website and they say if this does happen, to hold the power boost button for a few minutes and this should dislodge any hair caught. As yet, I haven’t experienced this. The house has never felt so clean. The hoover has fantastic suction and the lights at the front are great for showing up the dust, enabling you to pick up so much more than a conventional vacuum. The bag for the accessories is a really nice touch for storage too. I like the fact that you have a separate setting for hard or soft flooring. The battery life is excellent. I followed the first use instructions in the manual to ensure that I set the battery up properly. The five-year guarantee is very easy to set up via Shark’s website too. I am hugely impressed with Sharks offering and this model of vacuum. Shark is definitely now my choice for future appliances.

Hooray, I can vacuum the whole house on the 60 minute run time! Apart from the lounge all the other downstairs floors are wood, which doesn’t need high suction, stairs and 4 carpeted bedrooms, tiled bathroom and en-suite no problem.

As others have said, it’s not lightweight, but I’m OK with that as it’s still nowhere near as heavy as an ordinary upright vacuum.

I like how the handle folds down for storage purposes as stick vacuums don’t stand up on their own and I don’t like leave mine on display when not in use. Handy to be able to remove the battery to charge it.

I gave away my Dyson ball vacuum cleaner years ago as it was too heavy to lug upstairs and replaced it with a corded Shark stick vacuum which has been excellent and problem free so I had no hesitation buying another Shark. So glad I waited until one with a decent run time came on the market. I bought it when it was on offer and paid 1p more than the 40 minute run time one and it was half the price of the over-rated Dyson.

    Love it!

My Shark arrived yesterday and it is by far the best I have ever had. It is heavy but as amazing suction even on the low level. It came with a bag to put all the attachments in and a little brush to clean it with. It take 4 hours to fully charge. The tub for the dust is easily removed to empty into the bin. As for anit-hair , it lives up to what it said, no hair to untangle in the brush. It cave a few days before its due date. I highly recommend this product.

Arrived without pet tool, easily resolved by contacting shark customer services, sent the part the very day I provided proof of purchase. Cleaning much better than our Dyson equivalent which it replaced. It is top heavy but is meant to be stored folded down. Lights on front are a very good addition can see where need to clean. Emptying the bin much easier than dyson. Pet attachment is very good, use for stairs and furniture. Easy to adjust from solid floor to carpet, and the flexible tube to allow cleaning under tables etc is very good. It’s not as nice looking as dyson but who cares, it’s for cleaning not for looking at and is more practical.

Had a Dyson and it was always running out of battery and annoying to have to hold the trigger down all the time while you use it so I decided to try a Shark as the reviews were so good. It’s amazing, the battery lasts a good 40 mins, you only hold the trigger down fore extra power and the anti hair wrap is great, no more cutting hair from the rollers. I absolutely love the lights on it as you can see every crumb on your hard floors and it picks up grit! which the Dyson didn’t do it continuously spat the grit out so I had to use a dustpan and brush to collect. Thoroughly recommend the Shark it’s great.

I rarely write a product review but as someone who has always hated vacuum cleaning and was always convinced my Henry was the best vacuum cleaner ever, I am a complete convert in both! I actually don’t mind vacuum cleaning now and my Herny has been demoted to the garage (haven’t got the heart to get rid of him completely yet).
This vacuum cleaner is my new favourite toy! It’s so easy to use, no cord to get stuck around corners, under doors etc, it’s small and light, it goes round corners and under my bed – no more thick layer of dust that gets removed once every few years.
The only slight negative is that hairs do get tangled in it, but then my daughter does have extremely long hair, so I’m not surprised. And it’s easily sorted out. So not a big issue at all.

The only thing I would change on this is the weight…having chronic arthritis, Its about a kg heavier than my previous Vax cordless however the benefits for me, far outweigh this feature. it is so sturdy, easy to take apart to clean or to add all of the attachments which can be used with the upright or handheld section.. It glides easily, bends to go underneath furniture, has a light on the floor attachment too. Does not harbour grime and fluff on the rollers either. I received the pet attachment too, which I find very useful fitted to the handheld secion for the stairs as it deep cleans, although I do not have a pet. So easy to take apart for storage or cleaning and the fact that you can remove and charge the battery is another bonus. Another plus is that it cannot be overcharged – as switches off once done… this takes about 3 hours. Excellent buy, and would higly recommend…

Could not rate for stairs because I live in a bungalow. DysonV6 just died on me recently. Tried a new battery but that didn’t work properly, so decided to try the Shark. Very pleased so far though slightly heavier than the Dyson but that is not a bad thing. Although some reviews indicated it would not stand on its own, it does but you have to fold the handle for that to happen. Overall very pleased with this Shark.

I didn’t realise how dirty my home was, despite hoovering daily with a decent-ish Hoover. I finally treated myself to a shark and I’m glad I did. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not the BEST on the market, however it is really good! First time using it I was shocked how much hadn’t been sucked up by my previous hoover. Its quiter too which is great as it doesn’t scare my baby so I can quickly wizz round the front room and play room with baby in tow without her crying in terror. For the price I think its fantastic, I’m really happy.
