Decent microwave
It’s a great buy for the price as it’s stainless steel this is the third microwave in five years I’ve had as the other two where enamelled inside and the enamel kept coming of making them useless glad I’ve got this one now it’s great best one yet.

Basically is very durable model of SHARP brand. Particularly inside stainless steel frame and static glass platform.
Just there was some scratches on the control panel. But it works functionally well so I didnt return it.
I suggest this sharp model to those ones who ate looking for a durable multi functional powerfull Macrowave oven.
Good product marred by poor interior lighting.
A good purchase but the interior light is not fit for purpose making it difficult to see the interior when operating requiring much door opening to review progress.

Not uniform hea
The microwave has to be repeatedly paused so that you can reposition the food. I wish I had bought one with a turntable.
This is a good product, Ive used it for 6 months so far. I preferred the previous incarnation with the pull down door which meant you could access the interior from either side, but this is as good functionally. It works well as a convection oven but I suspect the temperature is much lower than that indicated and takes longer to cook stuff than in a normal convection oven in face when cooking stuff that’s supposed to go in at 180 degrees I cook at 220. That’s a huge difference, otherwise your food is still raw or you need to double cooking time. The issue appears to be that the convection oven isn’t really a convection oven, it’s a grill with a blower. The upside is that it uses much less energy and only takes 3mins to heat to temperature, but to be honest I’ve all but stopped using the convection oven for cooking oven chips since they need high temperature. I’d buy it again if I was looking for a decent microwave but beware of its limitations.
Easy to use no turntable .
Like that I can cook anything in it like that it has a flat bottom and no turntable.
Useful, versatile and easy to use.
We haven’t made great use of this so far, but we have been satisfied so far.
It's black and the buttons are hard to read
The buttons are difficult to read, you need to press more of them than previous microwaves, and the clock zeros if/when you turn the power off. Annoying 5 loud bleeps when it’s done, previous microwave gave only 3 and they weren’t as piercing!

Really solid and powerful Microwave
This was required just before Christmas when our old unit broke down. The power is noticeable and the easy to clean ceramic inside is a real boon. The unit is quite large but that is ok as it is also larger inside and that just makes it more versatile. The touch buttons work fine and are responsive and the display is clear and bright. This is a capable Microwave and its performance has been noticeable compared to the unit it replaced which was from a leading brand. This Sharp unit is just better in every way. Impressed.

No clunky turn table
Microwaves well and looks the part,haven’t tried the other functions yet, but can’t set the clock and the control panel could be a bit easier to read
Simple no frills microwave
My 14 years cheap Tesco bought microwave had started to go rusty inside so time for a replacement. Bought this one as I don’t need a fancy all singing and dancing microwave. So far it has proved easy to use and keep clean.
Only downside is if you open the door halfway through cooking it cancels what’s left of the time to cook and you have to start again in effect. It also has a fan that runs on after you have finished – so the noise can be annoying.

It’s a good microwave but why have to press the microwave button every time you want to set timer. I know it has a grill but surely that is a distant second use. Other than that it’s decent for the price.

Much better than expected
Some reviews about this microwave were quite negative and I wasn’t too sure, especially about the grill and the noise. However, the beeps are normal – the same as in my previous microwave. No smoke has appeared from the grill – I did follow the instructions about preparing the grill before using it.
It is easy to use, works perfectly well and I am very pleased with it. I have been using it for a week now. No problem.
Sharp Microwave
Staying loyal to Sharp.
Last microwave was a Sharp and lasted over 10 years.
So decided to stay loyal and buy another Sharp.
This model was on offer at a very good price and we are very pleased with it.
Looks good, very simple to use. Excellent display, very clear and easy to see.
Reassuringly very heavy and sturdy.

Simple and effective microwave
I’m very happy with this microwave, which I’ve now had for nearly 2 months.
It’s very easy to use, no fuss. I mostly use the high microwave setting, or the grill. The grill function is a great addition for some quick fixes, and to avoid heating up the full oven for something small. It’s cheaper than most combi models that I found online.
The only negative is the beeping when it finishes, which all microwaves seems to have. It beeps 5 times if you don’t open the door before it reaches the specified time. It’s not a very loud beep, but still annoying. I’d love to be able to switch this off.
Simple to use and strong grill
Compact and surprisingly strong grill. Microwave function very good. If available space is an issue can only recommend. Does not have an oven function, if this is needed then have to choose larger devices.

Bought this to replace my second Russell Hobbs microwave, both of which rusted irreparably on the inside (have found RH to be inferior in all small appliances I’ve bought from them and shan’t be buying any more).
Paid a tad more for this, but needed something to fit a particularly small space, and in black. Turns out it’s actually a little shorter, has no vents on the top, heats far better than my previous microwave so heating times have been reduced, and is rather good all round.
Haven’t tried the grill option yet.
Only caveat would be if you’re not housing it in a well lit area (mine’s below the counter), you will need to memorise the relevant button positions that you use most often.

This was purchased to replaced an ageing 750w microwave/grill. Rated at 900w this microwave is far more powerful than that it replaced, although the grill doesn’t seem to be quite as effective. The design is almost identical to a Panasonic microwave that we had 20 years ago, but which lasted very well. The oven itself is cavernous, and will accommodate the largest of dinner plates on the turntable.
The Achilles heel of this machine is the control panel. Front mounted it features a pressure membrane which is less than sensitive and the control buttons themselves are extremely difficult to read, particularly in poor light. You can use either Microwave mode, Grill mode, or a combination of both.
Whilst there are a number of options, most require a number of key presses – although there is a leftover from our old Panasonic which isn’t publicised too well – press the start button without making any other selections and it will activate the microwave on full power for 30 seconds. Press it, say, 4 times in quick succession and it will run for 2 minutes (4×30 seconds), and so on. That does save a bit of time!
I am 77 so found it a bit complex at first (1 Day) but once I mastered its multi-functionality I was cooking on high speed my old micro seemed like something found in a medieval cave.

This is a very good Microwave at a very reasonable price, it is a Combi Microwave so roast and grill as well as Microwave,, I think it,s excellent value for money
Not having an internal light let’s it down.
Great microwave but not being able to see how your food is cooking is a disappointment. Not that I like to watch my the microwave for entertainment, but more so to check if food is overcooking/burning/overflowing etc.
Bought as a stand in and OMG I LOVE it!
We have had to move into a rental property, whilst we are having work done at home, only after we moved in we realised no microwave as ours is built in at home. As we are not going to need this item forever, it seems a good price and multi function. I am amazed how quick this little beauty is! It knocks spots off our built in one at home, I found the operation of the microwave a little tricky at first, but just keep the instructions next to the oven, love the grill function. A excellent priced item with excellent functionality!

Good functionality small microwave
I had my last Panasonic microwave for 17 years, sadly it started playing up, so chose this one as it similarly has a lot of the same functions, it is small compared to my last one, but so far it’s performed well.
