I already possess these bone-conduction headphones and have been using them for the past year. I was so impressed by them I bought this second set for my son’s Christmas. Brilliant headphones.
Got this for my dad who used to be a wrestler and has ears that don’t suit most earphones but this has been an absolute game changer! He loves it! Would definitely recommend.
I am elderly and not a runner! However, I wanted wireless earphones for when I do the garden and walk my dog, This product is ideal I can tuck it all under my woollen hat! I am very pleased …. Recommend

These headphones are truly fantastic. So easily worn and so very comfortable. The sounds are fantastic, truly the best set of headphones I have ever had, yet they allow you to hear what is going on around you. Love them.
Seems good quality, nice sound and it being open rather than in ear you can cycle or run and still hear important sounds (like angry driver horns!).
Very lightweight and stays on the ear nicely.
Only thing I’d say is max volume isn’t very high so I’d recommend deactivating any volume limiters on whatever device you’re connecting it to.

Sound quality is not fantastic so wouldn’t used them at home or on a train. But for cycling and I guess other forms of exercise they are perfectly acceptable. Waterproof and stay in place.
Really good for exercise. Also really good for listening to content in an office environment where you don’t want to be completely isolated from other people speaking. Takes a little bit of getting used to to listen for extended periods of time though
I had wanted to try these headphones for ages and I took a chance during Prime day to get them. The size I got was based on the size guide on Shokz website but they’re actually a bit too big on me which does have a bit of an effect on the sound volume you can hear but they are still comfortable on the aul ear drums and work really well.
So light to wear and sound is fantastic compared to my last pair. The only concern is there is no cover on the magnetic charger. I am a little concerned that sweat could cause issues charging but time will tell. Really easy and quick to charge with the new magnetic charger.
My only complaint is over the yrs the quality of the carry case has dramatically changed, from a hard case to a soft case to now a draw string bag. When you paying that sort of money for a pair of aftershokz a decent case is need to keep them safe when in your gym bag etc.

I love them. The sound is fantastic for bone conduction headphones and I love that I don’t have to pause my music when I’m crossing the road because I can still hear everything around me. The battery is very good and they are very lightweight but secure so they won’t fall off, even when bending over to pick up dog poo. Very happy!
Sound quality quite good (for bone transmission ) and build excellent.

The noise cancellation ain’t great and the sound quality is a bit m’eh, but that’s why I bought it. When I run the sound quality is crystal clear and well-defined, maybe a wee bit thin for my tastes. The sound is dynamic with plenty of punch. They are super light and I forget I’m wearing them – better than specs which cloud up with sweat/rain. I love this, they let me run like the wind, so well deigned.
I bought these as a gift to a runner. Their feedback follows: There’s no negatives, all positives. The best element is safety – you can hear traffic whereas with in-ear or over ear headphones you may not. They don’t move on your head, they won’t fall off so you won’t loose them unlike in ear wireless types. There’s no wires and since they’re Bluetooth to your phone you can listen to spoken word or music or both. The battery gives about 8 hrs. They look good.
Very easy to link to my phone but gave up trying to link to more than one device – seemed more trouble than it was worth.
I have not tested them while running, and I am not looking for musical sound quality so can not comment on these features.
The sound clarity is excellent, particularly on incoming calls. I would suggest that potentil buyers measure temselves _ I didn’t and have the larger size so have found that they stick out the back little. Not an issue but may be to some.
The only niggle i can point to is the size of the band at the back. Its one size and non adjustable so if you have a small head, like me, youll find the the band sometimes sit perfectly and will press against walls etc Its a minor point and hasnt made be change my mind in using this device.

These were a gift for my husband and he is very happy with these.
Comfortable and sound quality is good – looking forward to hearing my fav toones in the gym without having to wear ear buds which irritate my ears – seems like the perfect solution so far.
So what prompted me to write this review after a year? Well they’ve just been through a full wash cycle at 30 and survived ! Amazing brilliant product that I would recommend to anyone whose conscious out in the community and needs to be aware of their surroundings when our running, cycling etc.

I love these as I wear hearing aids and find I can listen to the music without having to take them out . Good quality sound as well.
I love those headphones. I use while I am driving and I still have a great awareness of the surrounding. The arch at the back it might be too big and it might be annoying but generally they are quite comfortable. Easy to use with both IOS and Android
I bought the headphones to wear for off road running and dog walking. The sound quality is excellent, particularly away from traffic and they are lightweight and secure. They were very easy to link to my mobile.
I accidentally put them into the washing machine with the dog towels on a 50 degree cotton wash and they still work perfectly!

I love these. I can walk around the house listening to my audiobooks but still hear if someone in th house calls for me. That was the biggest problem with traditional earphones. I also love the fact that if I switch them on they automatically connect to the Audible app on my iPhone rather than me having to fiddle around connecting them every time. They are comfortable but do come in different sizes, so be aware of that and choose a size that will suit you.
Love them but I’d you wear them with your hair down they can be a little awkward. Brilliant product.
sick of headphones popping out my ears and bought these. Really good that you can hear the surrounding sound as well as music etc. I use them when cycling and just so good. Battery life seems to be impressive so far.

Quite surprised how good these are, sound wise no problem. On a walk you’ll have to turn up the volume if your on a main road, cars the main culprit. I found them comfortable to wear.
When my latest model (this one) developed a problem, I contacted shokz customer service via email and within a week they had replaced my headphones. Really appreciate a company who is this efficient and not trying to fob you off or make you wait until you give up (yes I’m looking at you Lufthansa). Thank you to Crystal who dealt with my request.
I will definitely buy from Shokz again when the tech gets even better, confident in the knowledge that they will help if anything goes wrong.

Great sound and very light to wear. I don’t like ear buds and find them very uncomfortable but these are brilliant and I love the fact that so can still hear what is going on around me whilst still listening to music. Very good whilst your cycling
The sound is good, and the best bit is if you don’t turn them up too loud, is that you can hear someone talking to you, or the traffic around you, but if you want to be totally immersed in your music, and want to have hearing problems in your old age, then ear-buds may be for you.. You can turn the volume of the music up and down via the headphones, and you can do this very easily whilst running.
I am 62 and over the years I have had/tried so many headphones in the past, which when you got sweaty always fell out of your ears, or you had to always put them back in place, so I thought I would give these Shokz Openrun headphones a go.
I am also a regular gym goer and the only exercise where I have to move the headphones a bit is a bench press, as of course you put your head on the bench and the headphones go behind you head, so in effect you coule be lying on your headphones.
I got so fed up with all my other headphones, ear-buds etc, that I always used to run without headphones and music, even when I was training for my last mararthon.
If I ever lose these headphones I would certainly buy another pair straight away.
The biggest bug bear by far, is that its virtually impossible – think that I managed it once, to get the correct rhythm when using the button 3 times to select the previous track, pause and selecting next track is ok. But dam it was impossible to select previous track.
So, as per the sellers advice, I now use my phone to select the previous track.
That is the only reason why it didn’t receive 5 stars.
These are a lot more comfortable and clear than i expected them to be. They don’t cancel out the sound, which is good, but they are loud enough that you cant hear people talking much if you do want to drown out other sounds. The only 2 things that annoy me is that i wish the head loop was smaller (to fit smaller heads, not just a mans head) or changed sizes, as it gets in the way on the odd occasion with extension of the head. I also wish that it was able to connect to two devices at once, such as my watch and my phone, in case i got a call come through. Overall i am very happy and would buy agai
They stay on great when running and often I forget I have them on after.
Overall a good product, not sure that 90 is a fair price for them, I hope they last for at least 4 years to get the value from them.
Very good for working/being around other people. You can be listening to something but still hear what’s going on when people come up and talk to you. Also very good for being out running/walking/cycling and still know a vehicle is coming up behind you. However, the loud noises of buses for example will drown out what you’re listening to completely.
Comfort is great, they can be on for hours, and battery seems to last me at least a day.
Sound quality is passable but obviously not the best for bass and serious music listening. Works best for spoken word content for me.
The other main negative for me are the playback controls, to skip back it’s a triple click of the button which never seems to register for me. Double click to skip forwards works most of the time.
Overall I would not be without these now.
