This is one of the best things I’ve ever bought! I can now reprimand my monster dogs from afar to stop them from destroying my house. The app sometimes take a few times to load, but other than that all of the functions work perfectly.
This is amazing for the [2021] price.
I didn’t expect much, yet bought two hoping that I could at least partially use it.
I continue to find additional unexpected quality features, some not even mentioned in depiction.
I had the first one up and running in literally minutes!!! So much so that I tore in to the second one and set it up as fast and it was SEAMLESSLY added to the first without a challenge of conflict, which had been a second minor fear.
Camera quality is decent, I can see my dog just fine and I like that it turns so it’s not set on one spot only.
You have the option of recording your voice when setting the machine to throw treats which is cool.
The camera is quite light so if you have a nosy dog looking for more treats they will knock the camera off so it does need to be put at a certain height so they can’t reach.
Overall the camera is very good if you’re travelling and you wanna see your baby. I left my bichon at home for 30 mins to run to the shop and I tried talking thought the camera so he calms down from barking and howling, this agitated him even more hearing my voice and not seeing me. So it’s not for all dogs and depends the purpose you get it for.
If you’re travelling and leave your dog with family/friends and you wanna see them during the day then the camera is good.
The camera works well and I can hear from my phone but if I try to speak into my phone to relay over the device it doesn’t work
Works great but there’s only one thing the voice doesn’t work very well. When you speak keeps on cutting
Our pups absolutely love this! We set up a schedule to send treats to my girls automatically at specific times while we are usually working we also manually send them at random when we walk through the room just as a little snack. I love being able to check in on my pets and send them a treat when I’m away from home. As soon as I send treats they come running to the treat machine and wait patiently for their snack. Only complaint is the 24/7 recording with a SD card is hard to navigate so we just don’t use that feature and the motion detection doesn’t work as my other cameras in the house and hard to navigate in the app for both of those things. But its not intended for security use, being able to send my dogs treats and peek in on them this surpasses my expectations on those aspects.
I bought this for my cat, I was leaving him for a couple days & wanted to make sure his spoiled butt got his treats! Worked perfect! Would recommend!!
El producto es estupendo y tiene mucho potencial. Tengo ganas de probarlo con mi gato cuando est fuera de casa. Lo que no est muy bien hecha es la aplicacin, las traducciones son bastante malas, de repente se mezclan idiomas, va lenta… Deberan subsanar esto y mejorarlo, porque el producto cuesta bastante dinero y qu menos que la app sea decente. Pero bueno, es funcional, que es de lo que se trata. De momento todo bien!
This product is practical and lots of fun. The quality of the picture when I’m viewing using the app is excellent (see first photo). I absolutely love the fact that I can check on my dogs when I’m not at home. I can take photos of and/or record video of their antics to show friends and family. Dispensing the treats at scheduled times as well as adhoc is a source of enrichment for the dogs. They get excited when they hear the bark immediately before the treats come flying out. We went to visit friends on the weekend and took it with us. It is just so easy to set up in different locations. The dogs had so much fun. As did the humans watching. I tend to get anxious if I’ve been away from home longer than planned. I miss my dogs and with a senior dog at home, I need reassurance that he’s ok. I’ve sometimes wished the dogs could use a telephone so that I can let them know I’ll be home soon. This SKYMEE dog camera automatic treat dispenser relieves me of the anxiety of being away from home for too long and the dilemma of how to teach my hounds to use a telephone! I can see, hear and feed them treats, remotely. Now how to teach them to clean the house?
Everything has been great so far with the only exception of the speaker. Whenever we try to talk to our dog through it the speaker is all broken up and crackly sounding.
The other reason why this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the wifi, it won’t connect to 5G and I did not see that anywhere before purchasing.
We purchased this product and have used it to monitor our young puppy who we needed to start leaving at home, after returning to working in the office post-covid. The picture quality was good as it also had night vision which was very useful and I would say is a must in any pet camera. The rotation of the device is also a must as we found that an extremely useful feature. Being able to throw kibble at our puppy was also a great feature, especially if he was barking when we left (as we could throw the kibble to distract him, which often worked). There is also the option to schedule kibble to be thrown at a certain time, which is great if you dog is used to eating three times a day (like ours), but needs to stay home the whole day by themselves. We would recommend this device to others.
Great, I love the treat function and being able to pan the camera to see what my cat is doing. I have to take a star off for the fact that after a power outage, when power is restored, the treat hopper spontaneously spits out every single treat in succession – really annoying at 4 am!

I had researched all the dog treat dispensers for a while and finally took the plunge to the the SKYMEE dog treat dispenser. I didn’t want a feeder, just a treat dispenser.. so that i can check in on my dog and reassure him, give him a little fun while i was at work.
The delivery was fast and the setup was pretty easy. The instructions are minimal and i can see that some people may feel confused or unsure, but realistically it is setup the same as all other small home security cameras these days so shouldn’t be too much of a surprise or difficulty for most. I did do as others suggested, removed the auto feeding schedule and i did change the sound it makes when the treat is dispensed from a dog barking (not good for my reactive dog).. to me saying my high pitched YES!! which is the ‘mark’ word i use for my dog when he does something correct AND is also what I am using at the moment to let him know he is allowed to eat something (as opposed to eating everything he finds and having a trip to the vet).. so it is now also a training tool for us which is great!
The best feature i think is the panning option, being able to scan the room is the key feature for me.. rather than being stuck in a fixed position. The picture quality can be set at different levels depending on what you want and for me, the quality is great and very clear. Night vision is also great, very clear.
I agree that the microphone feature in the app, to talk to your dog while I am out, is intermittent at best.. possibly something that needs to be fixed in with software/firmware upgrades in time.. my other security cams have this feature working fine, so not a network or internet issue. This was not a key feature for my requirements so it is not a major concern for myself.
It does have the wireless phone charger on top too, which is different and not really a feature i look for but it is additional handy item as i positioned the camera in my main living area, so now i have another charger there too.
I am happy that i finally got myself a treat dispenser and very happy with the decision of the Skymee.
For six months straight I had no issues, cameras great quality. Sound recently stopped working, however manufacturers stood by warranty and is sending another. Customer service is excelle
If you have pets and you ever leave the house, it’s easy to imagine the troubles they are getting into when you aren’t around. That’s one of the benefits of a good pet camera. The Petalk AI II is so much more than just a camera though. Yes, it’s an HD cam that you can not only pan 180 degrees, switch into night vision mode, and record pics and videos on, it is also a communication device. You can talk to your pet from your phone, through the app, and they can hear you and speak back through the 2-way microphone. Then there’s the part that gets the most fun, you can launch treats around three feet through the air to them. This not only gives them a little something special in the middle of the day, but it gives you a fun game to play when you should be working. Then, when you get home, you can even use the top of the Petalk AI II as a wireless charger for your phone. This isn’t even something it needs, but it is a nice little bonus. Set up for the camera was simple, it took maybe 2 minutes and I was up and running, shooting off little treats and panning around the room. Every pet owner should have a good pet camera, and Skymee’s Petalk AI II is a great one to have.
Does exactly what it says on the tin and I found it very easy to set up. Works perfectly. I found it a little complicated to set up the facility for multiple users to view on their own phones, but their help desk responded within 24 hours and resolved the issue. In fact, what you do is set up one user and then simply allow others to use your user details. Great to keep an eye on the puppy while I’m out and also allows me to comfort and treat him if he’s distressed. Brilliant!
This is a very high quality device, which had worked reliably. It was very easy to set up, and has been used daily for a month with no problems. The app is stable and responsive, with all features working well. Video quality is great, but the speaker is a little quiet and the mic also (hence not 5*). Have not used the wireless charging yet, it’s a good feature but the device is not in a location where I would leave my phone. Overall, a great purchase that has allowed contact with a bribed pet.
UPDATE – It ends up that my cat accidently constant reset the setting of this machine that puts the machine offline. The reset button is located at the top of the machine, my cat always sit on top of it and for the treat and triggered the reset button. I had to place a hard plastic to cover the reset button. works well now, but definitely a design flaw. The reset button should place at the back of the machine.
So it was not easy getting it connected to the internet. My treat wouldn’t shoot out bc it was sticking to the compartment However, once I got it connect it was neat…going to work with it and see how to get the non stickiness of the treats to work.

The wireless charging pad is a bonus.
I do notice that often times the machine will dispense a treat whenever it feels like it without being prompted to. I haven’t set up any specific times for feedings or treats but it does it randomly throughout the day.
There is a bit of feedback but not too bad. My sister in law and brother have a Furbo and it’s about the same quality for sound.
I don’t like that you can only have one person connected to it, it seems. But I read in another comment that it may be fixed with future software updates so I do hope that is fixed. Otherwise this seems to be a good fit and value for the money!
Absolutely love this product. What a peace of mind to be able to watch my dog while I’m away. I can hear her and she can hear me back. I can feed her her favorite treats. The camera is also a cellphone charger. Good product that together with the Skymee app makes a great buy!
This dog camera is great. We are out of the house a lot so it’s great to be able to check in on the dogs and talk to them. They’re not really sure what’s going on when they hear our voices through the device but it’s so cute to watch, The treat dispenser works great., The only thing I can think to say is that the microphone feature on the app is hit or miss. It doesn’t always come through. Other than that I love it!
This device is relatively easy to set up. However, I cannot stand the dog barking before the treat comes out because it causes my dog to start barking. That is obnoxious. Someone said they changed it to a cat sound in settings. I am still looking but am frustrated and gave up.
The price is a bit lower than the Furbo, which is Amazon’s Favorite. This one seems pretty good though. I was trying to use treats, but they must have been the wrong size, so I am sticking with round kibble dog food. The instruction book is in English only on pages 1-3. The next 17 pages are in about 5 more languages. English is poorly written. If someone knows how to set it to a Meow, please tell me. If we could pick other sounds, that would be better. I don’t like to encourage barking with a dog.
When this detects motion or when the time rolls around that you have set for tossing out some treats. the device barks about a half dozen times and then tosses out a few treats. There are two interchangeable wheels that can handle large or small treats. We use it for our cats who aren’t all that thrilled at hearing the barking sound, but they do like the treats. There is probably a way to turn off the sound, but I haven’t looked for it, yet. Camera resolution is very good and the motion detection is excellent. This is a great device, especially for a dog owner so the dog can hear its owner’s voice and get treats even when you are at work. Cats — well, they are just obnoxious and pretend to ignore it and the owners’ voices, but that’s part of why I love them.

I am using this for cats, and they are quickly learning that the “bark bark bark” noise means that a treat is coming. **update- I learned that you can change it to a cat sound in the settings!**
This thing really launches the treats- it’s really outstanding! I’ve only used it twice and my cats are waiting near it for more treats to come out.
The camera can rotate back and forth and you can control it from your phone- this is a gamechanger! We have an older model camera from a much more expensive company that doesn’t move- so when we are away from our pets – unless they are within view of wherever we pointed the camera, we can’t see them!
The only reason I removed a star is because it was a little glitchy to get it to stop automatically throwing treats. The settings were configured for 4 different automatic feedings, and I had to go in and out of the app multiple times turning them off until it finally “stuck” but my cats got a ton of treats until I could get it to turn off!
Also, the camera quality is not outstanding and could definitely be better for the price point, but I can see our cats and that’s what matters.
All in all, this camera will give us so much peace of mind while we are away, with the extra fun ability to be able to treat our pets!
