Housed within a curvaceous stainless steel structure, the Smeg kettle reflects both interior and exterior beauty. Its 3kW concealed heating element and removable stainless steel limescale filter reduces the risk of limescale build-up forming and affecting the unrivalled performance.

I love this mini kettle as I was finding it hard to fill and hold my bigger kettle. It has a great ‘pourer’ spout. No splashes. Perfect. Holds 1 to 3 cups. I picked the black Smeg but I could have had it in loads of bright colours. Delighted.
An original SMEG bought from small trader through Amazon – the way to go ! We had another well known top of the range kettle for 8 years which eventually gave up – I went to replace like for like when I saw this and took a chance – I am glad I did as it is not so heavy easier to fill and just as fast and quiet – delivery speedy ,well packaged in original box and altogether a good buy

We had been looking at kettles for a couple of months and non of the cheaper models seemed to meet our requirements. To flimsy. We had discounted Smeg because of the price but decided (as our kettle had sprung a leak) to wait no longer. We love it. It is sturdy but not too heavy. It pours extremely well so wet surfaces are a thing of the past and it looks great. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone unsure of getting one.
We have had this kettle in blue for 3 years. It looks great, boils quickly and quietly and we haven’t had any issues with the seal or base being loose. My only criticism is that if you live in a hard water area you face the issue that you can’t remove the line scale easily without destroying the paintwork. I found this to my cost that limescale built up around the lid and I descaled the kettle and put some around the edge to remove it and it stained the paintwork. I had to stop descaling the edge (inside is fine) but it now looks crusty on top of the damaged paintwork.

Very stylish Smeg kettle. Smooth operation. The filter needs to be washed and the kettle boiled several times for the slightly chlorinated taste to go. Very expensive for what it is. Time will tell whether it lasts longer than others I’ve had. I’m pleased with it so far.

I am very pleased with this kettle. It looks gorgeous. It has a flip open lid which allows very easy access to refill with water. The lead can be wrapped around a cord holder under the base if you need to shorten the grey cable. It is noisier than my previous kettle when boiling but it doesn’t bother me. It will keep looking nice as not like a stainless steel finish where it can have streak marks. It has a nice sturdy handle for pouring and the spout doesn’t drip.
Really nice looking kettle. Feels great, poor’s well and is a fast boiler. Little but worth it I think !! 🙂

I purchased the silver Smeg kettle and I love it. It’s so shiny but easy to keep clean with dettol spray and a green minky cloth.
The switch is lovely to turn on and lights up a white light when the kettle is boiling.
The filter is removable from the spout for ease of cleaning.
Amazon was the cheapest online store I found it too.
Not cheap but after the last two De Longhi’s gave up after 3 years we went for a change of brand. Boils quick, boils quiet, what’s not to like?
There have been given a hard time due to cost but this is a great Kettle and looks like you invested in a high quality boiler!
I order a lot from Amazon and rarely leave reviews as my time is precious. I’m making an exception this time as I was so impressed. The Smeg kettle I ordered was in mint condition although a lot cheaper than a new one. Everything works fine and it looks stunning in my kitchen. This is obviously an honest company and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

Just one small thing the rubber on the legs of the tray the kettle sits on have marked my wood work top but sure I can remove them but otherwise very happy with it.
My wife has been after this kettle for years, so I took the plunge and bought it. It did not disappoint. A quality product at a premium price worth paying. It is quite heavy, as one would expect, from this brand. Everything operates with ease. Highly recommended.

This is a real quality item but I have a criticism. The level indicator is almost impossible to read but, otherwise, it looks and performs very well. I would have given it 4.5 if I could but felt the level indicator just prevented me from giving it 5
My new red SMEG kettle arrived in good time. The letters are raised letters. The brand ‘SMEG’ emblazoned on the kettle are solid and look as if they will not fall off (not printed letters like some of the reviewers have described based on their purchase). Also the lid being plastic makes sense, otherwise you could burn yourself, so I’m happy it’s made of good quality solid plastic. Further, the list has a rubber seal preventing steam and/or water leaking out when you poor water out of the spout. The main kettle body is metal and painted and does get hot, so be aware of this point. Having said that, the head is no different to other kettles out there on the market. I read a couple of reviewers have blistering paint, but I’ve not seen this porblem (yet). Time will tell I guess. Overall, I really like this kettle. Yes it’s expensive, and yes some parts are plastic, but it’s all solid and well made based on first impressions.
I purchased this product ignoring all the negative reviews in the knowledge that had they been right, then I could always return the product for a refund. So far I’m not expecting to be one of those disappointed customers. Your mileage may vary.
I love this kettle – it is quiet, quick, and looks super chic in my kitchen. i love the fact that it has anti-limescale properties built into it, as i don’t have to it as often as one might expect.

Use this kettle as a replacement for another top-branded one. This Smeg is far superior in looks and efficiency, So it may save money on electricity in the long run.
This is the the second smeg kettle I’ve bought, the first one only lasted about 18 months, I bought a second because I like the look and it matched my smeg toaster I hope this one lasts longer or I will not be buying smeg again, the only thing I don’t like about it I think it’s very heavy to lift when water is in it.
Life too short to use a cheap and rubbish kettle. Just think of how many times you boil a kettle in it’s life time. Spend the money, you won’t be sorry!

Yes it’s reassuringly heavy, but you don’t need to be a weight-lifter to pick it up. It also looks great. Recommended if you can afford it.
If you want to boil water, there are cheaper ways to do it, but this kettle is a nice looking, well put-together piece of furniture / ornament too.
Much quieter than my previous kettle and such a fab colour pop in the kitchen. Excellent capacity. The spout doesn’t dribble or spit boiling water at you…wonderfully tranquil sound as it pours! If I had to pick something out it would be that the chrome coloured handled and especially the base, look a bit plasticy. Great kettle though
UPDATE May2020; as the kettle boils, steam travels down the handle. Needed oven gloves to pick it up as hot steam coming out. If you wait for the steam to stop, the water is off the boil…not ideal for tea-making. Contacted the Seller who was brilliant and got it replaced. However, same happened again. The brilliant Seller replaced it yet again; couldn’t fault their CS in any way. However, the issue of steam down the handle is the same. I’m assuming therefore it’s a build issue. Have tried a hack by placing a bumper made of Sugru in the crease where the handle connects to the body of the kettle. Still a problem so will add another ‘bumper’ alongside the first to see if that helps. Wouldn’t want this model if you’ve got youngsters/elderly or you have arthritis or other disability. Shame…handsome kettle
Beautiful kettle, arrived with no damage. It was not late. Item works very well. Very happy.
A lovely shape and colour of course. The boiling time is fine, and the main chamber has a concealed element and is lined with stainless steel. However the lid is made from flimsy plastic. The base is made of black plastic which is trimmed with silver painted plastic and seems very flimsy. Mine was a customer return where the lid release had been fixed and it was one third of the price. Theres no way on earth I would have paid anywhere near the RRP, as the build quality is nowhere near good enough. I don’t know if the version with the 3d letters would be better quality.
So far so good and the letters haven’t fallen off yet. Looks nice and boils ok too.
