My 8yr old son loves this! Keeps him busy for ages and is a fun interactive way of learning about circuits too.
My son quickly bwcame familiar with building circuts. They have good set of projects/circuts to explore. I would totally recomend for chidren who are interested in science.

Brought it to help my daughter as she’s learning cicuits in science at school. It’s a fabulous kit. I brought the 300 version. It’s great value for money. The components are good and robust. The instructions are clear and easy to follow even for my 9 year old daughter on her own now we’ve been through the basics.
The only down side, is I would like to see more about how and why the components work in each experiment, but that’s all.
Otherwise it’s a great little buy, that keeps us both occupied for hours.
A lot of bits to assemble to make quirky items light light sensor or lie detector. Full instructions given. Ideal for the budding electronic engineer. Even the adults couldn’t resist joining in.
The item met all the requirements for our grandson and he was taken with the item that he did not want to do anything else. Will progress to the next level for him.

My 7 year old and I enjoyed all the projects in this kit. Great fun and educational at the same time. The fan blade broke in it but easily found a replacement online.
My daughter aged 10 years and her cousin aged 12 years, had endless fun putting this circuit together and changing the variations on the circuits. A brilliant toy.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my science loving 8 year old daughter. She (and her dad!) have had so much fun building the circuits. The booklet is easy to follow with clear diagrams, although my daughter prefers experimenting with her own creations.
Amazing little kit. Potential for some pieces to be snapped by over excited hands but most are very sturdy. Easy to use and the step by step projects are an easy guide into learning about circuits.

I bought this as an additional set for work. The children (5-12yrs) love experimenting with the kit, following instructions and making their own circuits.
The set is easy to use, the instructions are easy to follow and it brings hours of enjoyment, excitement and discovery to our children’s learning.

She likes the easy to follow directions in the book and although she’s not that into ready why and how things are happening I am hoping she might over time! This set is brilliant and I really enjoy spending time doing this with my son some of the diagrams are a bit hard for my son to follow without my help but most of it he can do alone if he wants to we really enjoyed putting different circumstances together and watching them work some of them are a bit tedious or just different variations of things but overall very happy with this se
Not for the very young. Need to be at an age where they follow instructions. This is not Lego. Guidance required if using with the young.
My 6 year old daughter loves this we sent most of Christmas day doing different projects. She said it was her favourite gift. Its educational and very well set up to teach step by step without being to difficult can’t fault it.

I’m a (retired) pro developer & rate this little kit very highly for getting (grand)kids interested in electronics.
It all snaps together in a simple but reliable way. It holds their interest & focus.
The instructions are great – very easy to read & the examples they give all work.

My sons love it. After a long time I have seen them play with a toy because most of the time they play video games or are on the iPad.
This is such a wonderful product! I was sceptical from the pixilated product image, but honestly, what arrived was next level. An easy popper system, clip circuit set, with plenty of items to choose from, and a booklet detailing loads of different circuits to build. The whole set is great quality and really sturdy. This makes science so accessible for kids and my 6yo loves it!

This is a great starter kit, it’s really well made and the parts are really durable.
The only thing I am slightly critical of is that most of the 100 projects repeat themselves, for example, you might get a project where the fan spins and then another project might be where the fan spins a bit slower. I get the education value of resistance but the kids arn’t necessarily going to find that engaging. All in all I’m pleased with it and there are a few interesting projects.

This is a great product. Much better than the one I had when I was a kid. Snap Circuits makes it less fiddly to construct the circuits and also includes snap wires to help it still resemble home electronics.
Worked well for almost exactly 9 months before it failed. Not worth the landfill.

We did a couple with him to start with but now he’s off making his own. He absolutely loves it. All of the components are perfectly sized for small hands and are nowhere near as fiddly as the old style circuits. Would definitely recommend for young, inquisitive children.

A robust, well documented, colourful and engaging set with over 80 parts. Although marketed for children primarily, it is a voyage of discovery for former physics phobics of all ages.
Bought it for my grandson who loves taking things apart to see how they work,he was over the moon with it has not put it down. It is well made and really good at making learning fun would deffo recomend

We love the kit, granddaughter has just started using it and the Motor Fan 6SCM1 6SCM1F has stopped working; can you replace this piece? Happy to pay.
Just make sure that the components are fitted together properly, otherwise you then have to find the “fault” if it doesn’t work.
