Very pleased with these lights, much brighter than I expected as tried a number of solar lights over the years and most have been disappointing, these lights are an exceptio
The brightness is really impressive, providing ample illumination for pathways around the side of the house which doesn’t get much sun but doesn’t seem to matter.
The eco-friendly aspect is also a plus and they’ve definitely proven to be cost-effective.
The durability is excellent, as they’ve endured various weather conditions without any issues. Overall, a smart investment for both functionality and sustainability.
Unless there is practically no sun all day these lights are amazing!!
We have South facing garden and the are on the fence each side of the patio. At night they are set to come on at a low setting but if there is movement they are soooo bright.

Very impressed with these lights. They are very efficient and, provided that there is enough sunlight during the day, they will stay on all night. We have bought quite a few of these for our garden.
I’ll start off by saying I don’t think it’s clear from the description that you get a pack of 2 solar lights for 18.91.
These lights are brilliant. I’ve bought 2 packs as we have our bins at the back of our garage and it’s pitch black back there at night. You honestly can see a thing. It’s a long narrow area and I’ve positioned the lights so that as you start walking they come on individually. As you can see from my photo, they really do illuminate the space.
You can set them to motion sensor or always on by simply pressing the button on the front of the light.
They’re very easy to install as the screw holes are at the top / front of the light and the fixings are included in the box. I can’t recommend these lights enough.
These were good for the price. Do have to make sure they are in direct light during winter months but work really well. Attached early to outside rail with some ties. Well worth the money.
The only issue I have is the fixings, screws are bit small and my previous lights I could take them off fence and place them in a sunnier part of the garden to charge up . I have had neighbours come and admire them ,Good Job!!!!!!!!
Put one in the back garden which is brilliant. The one over my front door lights up every time a car goes past from dusk, but after an hour no longer works until the following day, also doesn’t come on when you walk towards it.
I bought a few of these lights. We don’t use them for security, although they do have decent brightness when fully charged, instead we use them to see where the hound is at night as he blends in and annoys the local hedgehogs if left to his own devices. These things, when fitted to fence posts, provide a pathway through the garden and activate whenever he gets near, which means we can see him and can call him in if he gets a bit yampy with Mrs Tiggy-Winkle.
If you need them for security then I’d politely suggest you buy something with a bit more oomph, but if yours is a similar need to ours, go for it!
Bought these for our the front as street lighting has changed very dark in my corner. So bought them so I can find the keyhole. When it stops raining I will put them up.
I have used these to help when my dogs go into the garden at night. As soon as they walk past on they come. They stay on for a couple of minutes. Then light up again as the dogs move around.
Although they have a sticky pad provided they do need screwing in when used outside.
The light is not as intrusive as an electronic security light but is enough for my needs and doesn’t affect my neighbours.
As yet they seem to be charging ok. I do have a South facing garden so this helps with the amount of sun I get.
I am very pleased with them and plan to purchase more.
Bought these. The one in the back garden gets daylight/sunlight all day and works perfectly. The one in the front doesn’t get decent daylight/ sunlight until early afternoon, and as a result doesn’t always charge enough to work for very long, but works well when it gets full sun, rather than just daylight.
They are always fully charged, even on dull days. I have added two more. Very easy to install and several settings including dim and bright (which is surprisingly bright). Mine are strategically placed around the garden. I no longer put a light on when the dog goes into the garden, she triggers a light wherever she goes. We also have the same benefit at night. Quite a security feature and they are good value for money.
Solar lights seem pretty pointless in the UK. They don’t get enough charge in the winter for the dark nights. This is not the fault of the seller or manufacturer. I thought I’d give them a go, but I will install a mains powered option instead.
These solar outdoor lights are well made, very bright and detect motion from a useful distance. They come with more screws and rawlplugs than you strictly need and are easy to install. It would be good to see a somewhat thicker top rail where the screws go through but other than that they are well put together and have four screws on the back to allow for the possibility of future maintenance.
Couple of things to consider: 1) Do not place the unit close to a security camera, as these use infra-red illuminators at night and this solar light will interpret that as daylight and not switch on, do some night tests before screwing to the wall, and 2) If you have a tree in front of the solar light, then moving branches during windy weather may trigger the light and reduce the battery charge.
Overall a good value, good quality and recommended unit.
Bought to replace a mains powered unit that developed a fault. Easy to fit and provides a decent amount of light provided the area isn’t too big. I use it to light up an area roughly 5m x 3m. The sensors work well.
Bought these before, so good I ordered more. They are dull till it senses motion then very bright. I find them useful feeding my animals when it’s dark. One is above my shed door so I can see into the shed when it’s on bright. I have hedgehogs in my garden and the motion sensor picks their movement so I can see them feeding and moving around. My first set are still going strong and even on dull days they seem to still work very well.
Not as bright as they advertise. But good enough for the money!!

Does a fantastic job! They work perfectly. Had them a while now. Easy to fix to the fence and set up so they come on when someone walks up or down the pathway. Worked straightaway and charge you during the day.

These are really easy to fit and work well. I have them all around my garden and as security lights at front of house
This was smaller than I thought it would be but the lighting is very good. I am using it as motion detection to light the area of our bins and it has only been there a few days but shines a good light on the garden, long enough to get the job done. There are 3 settings, motion detection, on all the time or on low then brighter when it detects motion, just push the button on the front until you find the setting that works for you.

I’ve turned the small switch to the ‘motion sensor’ mode. It picks up from about three metres away and the lights offer a bright, white light that stays on for about 20 seconds. Very pleased with the pair of lights.

Although the units could benefit from a third fixing point or hidden attachment points, I am quite pleased with the lights. I opted to have a low continuous light that increases with activity. At this intensity, it is bright enough to walk under and won’t upset your neighbours.

Didn’t have high hopes for 25 quid. Really bright and come on just long enough and no more. The sensitivity is a bit weak but that’s not entirely negative as you don’t want them going off all the time. I put mine up at 2.4m high and sometimes I need to be almost directly under them to trigger. Other than that really good
