Received the product, put it together and put in some kindling and logs and it burned for two hours. The flames were huge and there was very little smoke. Worked as Advertised. very happy with the purchase
Best purchase we have ever made!! We love it and highly recommend. We bought the backyard bundle and it was worth it. If your on the fense, take the plunge and buy it! You won’t be disappointed.
Well constructed with stainless steel, burns efficiently with minimal smoke. The optional ring allows you to use the stove on various surfaces but if I use it on my wood deck I would probably use a fireproof mat.
The videos don’t lie. The bonfire is well built, easy to move and assemble, and as a fire pit, it’s sensational. I replaced an old, rusted out fire cauldron that was dirty and never worked as well as this. Excellent purchase, excellent product, excellent company. You won’t be disappointed, especially when you can get it on sale.
I like my new Solo, and although it’s a little pricey, it’s the perfect contained fire pit for areas where One needs a contained fire. Easy assembly and easy set up. The package with the cover and grate are worth it.

This is an excellent product. I like everything about it. It’s built like a tank. It is very easy to get a fire going. And it’s easy to clean it out. The cover is also well made and keeps the rain out. The only issue I found was that when the stand is underneath it is a little hard to see the flames unless you have a pretty big fire going. Overall Solo Stove made a great product. I love it.
My first fire was 4 hours long, and we were smoked out 3.5 of those hours. I contacted Solo about this and they told me not to cover air holes (I didn’t) and to use hardwood (I was burning oak). It appears that the fire pit doesn’t burn smokeless unless you have a large, hot fire going. Our moderate sized fire rarely got to the conditions needed for smokeless fires. We are going to end up burning 3-4x the amount wood that we originally thought. None of this is mentioned in instructions or promotional materials.
In our experience, the fire pit does not generate much heat to the sides. We were seated within 12 inches of the fire pit in 31 degree weather and felt no heat. Do not buy this if you are hoping it will keep you warm. It is all about aesthetics
In retrospect, I wish that I had bought the smallest fire pit rather than the medium sized fire pit. It would have been far easier to keep fully fueled. Keep this issue in mind when making your purchase.
Getting the bundle of accessories with the Bonfire was best shopping I’ve done in a long time. It is attractive, delivers on it’s promised low smoke, and kept a group nice and toasty. Love the weather shelter and will employ the carry case at some point, I’m sure.

I love this fire pit. We use this fire pit on our wooden deck with no problems. It’s small but yet powerful gives off hot heat. Easy clean up !!! I can see this lasting for a long time.

But at 45 lbs it’s not easy to pick up and flip the unit in order to shake out the ashes.
It takes two people. It should have an ash drawer(pullouts)
