Great affordable unit. I have an older TV and made the connection by the optical connection from the supplied lead. Easy setup and made a massive difference to the sound quality I was getting from my TV speakers.
It can be wall mounted and the screws for this are provided. I chose to just place it under my TV as per the picture.
I am now enjoying a good quality stereo sound for very little money.
Not amazing sound. I’m no audiophile, but if you’re looking to upgrade from your TV’s tinny speakers, then this little soundbar definitely something to consider. Movies sound better, music sounds clearer and overall a great way to enhance your tv audio.
Chose this soundbar because of it’s size. Good voice clarity on EQ (news) mode and overall sound quality is good. A max sound level of 32 is generally more than enough. Comes with an optical and an AUX cable which is very handy. Connecting Bluetooth was very easy. Overall a nice piece of kit for a very reasonable price. Lost a star because of the confusion with the AUX.
This soundbar is exactly what i have been looking for for the TV in my caravan I will definetly hear the TV when its raining now. Plenty of volume and sound is very good
Sounds better than my new TV, though I am only a meter or so away. You may well want something beefier if you’ re further away or are using it in a large room. My only issue is the lack of Dolby support.
Please be aware the 20in model is 7cm tall (2.77in at the front end though it tapers back) not 6cm as stated on the site.
Purchased for son to use via Bluetooth on fire stick connected to pc monitor watching the footy whilst he’s multi tasking and playing FIFA in PlayStation on the big to screen.
Sound bar also connected to to via HDMI & connected to PlayStation via Optical.
Obviously, only one sound choice can be used at a time so depending on what sound is required is the choice.

Got this as a gift for my dad for Christmas as his last sound bar kept discounting. Loved the look of the sound bar and handy buttons being on the top. Love that it shows you the volume and which setting it’s set to on the front. Very easy to install and amazing sound! Quite tempted to get myself one now too! Will be recommending this for sure.
I thought this would be really tricky to install but I just plugged it in, chose the right setting and it worked! Sound quality is pretty good
Ordered the item to add sound to a computer monitor without speakers – using optical out from a ps4. Plug and play, easy as easy. The sound quality is very good – much better than expected at the price! I read other reviews critical of the sound quality, but it seems they have unrealistic expectations. If you want amazing surround sound for home cinema, then a 1000 amp and speaker combination is the way forward. If you want good quality sound that is an improvement to standard TV sound then this is the way forward – especially at this excellent price!

Bought this as a gift for my mother-in-law to boost the sound on her TV. The range of ports meant it worked with her TV (HDMI Arc, Aux, Optical). The sound quality is great with the equaliser helping accentuate voice audio.

I am very impressed. This is a great soundbar for the money, wasn’t sure if it had enough watts to fill the living room but it does. Very easy to use and understand buttons and remote, and a good look, no distracting lights flashing when in use. Also came with a template for wall mounting which i found really useful.
Only just got product today, but so far the 20″ sound bar exceeds expectations in all respects. Far superior to the old sound bar, AND I do not have to use and optical cable to connect to the TV, I can declutter and now just use the TV remote control. Nice too to have information showing on the unit after changes are made.
This item is very easy to install and produces excellent sound. Well worth the price. Would certainly recommend.

What a surprise , a”Good” soundbar that doesn’t cost the earth . Quite easy to set up although I did have a couple of goes trying the different connections before I settled for the ” Aux” set up , I found that this enabled me to control the volume of the TV and soundbar together using the TV remote although I did use the soundbar remote to get the “Tone” I wanted. Very pleased and would recommend this for it’s neat size and good performance . Alam Marsham
Oh dear , After using the Soundbar for a very short period , I find that each time I turn it on it varies from the previous setting and it is a problem resetting it , so sadly I am returning it ,a shame because it seemed such a good bar . So I am dropping my “Star Rating” to “TWO” .
Initally I was a bit apprehensive in setting it up but there was nothing to fear as the instructions were easy to understand and within 12 minutes I was ready to enjoy the quality sound emitting from this ‘Soundbar’I am very pleased with my ‘Vmai Soundbar’ purchase;well done.

I first connected via the supplied optical cable and it sounded amazing. I also had a spare HDMI cable lying around so used that to connect which now allows full control of both TV and Soundbar via one remote control. Very happy with my purchase.

Very nice compact item. Shame Amazon didn’t package it properly though with a proper outer box I read the reviews on it first. Bought for my mum who has a small tv Overall is a good buy – just slightly disappointed volume wasn’t as loud as I thought it would be Only went to level 32 Bluetooth connects well. Good value. Not the best sound quality out there but certainly does the job. We have this in a small second lounge so ideal for our needs. Would invest more if it was for our main lounge as the EQ settings are minimal with voice movie and music the only settings available. Nice to use as a BT speaker as well and easy to connect. Small downside is the illumination on the speaker stays on too long for my liking but again a very small issue that’s easy to get over. Overall great product ideal for a small room.
My Yamaha YAS 107 stopped working and looking at a replacement found this After reading all the reviews i decided on this and I have not been disappointed its much better than the Yamaha for me easy installation sound from the TV 55″ LG with OLED is much improved I LIKE IT

I bought this item for my elderly mother-in-law as she is slightly deaf. What a difference it has made for her. She can hear all her programs on the TV now and is delighted.
Very good distortionless sound .Improvment on tv speakers making the best of normal poor transmitted sound. Very good sound from cd player,with quite good bass, again distortionless .Volume ample for normal size living room. Uisng a HMDI ARC connection cable ,THE TV REMOTE CAN BE USED TO CONTROL SOUND BOX VOLUME. Very pleased with purchase.
Great sound bar. Have been using it for around a month now and love having it on. A massive difference compared to TV speakers (from a TV known for having quality speakers).
Took a bit of getting used to, but using HDMI arc means it’s a case of set and forget. The speaker is fully controlled with the TV remote – the only time I need to touch it is to switch on Bluetooth to use it for music.
Great overall sound quality. I’m no audiophile but think it does a great job in place of suround sound. Highly recommended!
Bought this soundbar as a price reasonable option for our SONY XG95. It was so easy to install. Couple of screws in the wall and literally plug and go. Sound is fabulous during movies, great quality for its price. Also, it works brilliantly for your tunes via bluetooth. We’re very happy with this purchase.
As the Vmai soundbar cost less than the one I was replacing which was of a well-known make, I was blown away by the performance which is such an amazing improvement. I am now able to understand the actors’ speech in plays and movies which was proving a great problem in the past. Incidentally, I connected it to the sound output of my Sky box rather than the TV as the TV was lacking the necessary outputs. The Blu Ray/DVD player is also connected to the same outputs via a phono to aux lead.
Once again I have to give this speaker another fantastic review. It is so good that I brought a second one as a Christmas present for myself. Both myself and husband both have these now for our PCs and the sound quality is amazing. The best speaker I have ever brough. Would definitely recommend it to others.
Good for price, only weird thing is the max volume goes to 32 which seems strange

The item came on time, packed really well and was easy to put on the wall and looks very nice mounted beneath the Tv. The set up was easy and straight forward.
However, i’m not very tech savvy and have failed to get the voice in sync with the picture, there’s quite a delay and it spoils the whole experience.
The sound it delivers is very nice, if I can sort the other I’ll give it a 10 for value for money.

This is a great little sound bar it delivers great sounds and will not break the bank, I used this this sound bar for a lest a week now and I have fully tested all functions and I must admit, it say what it said. I give this a 5 star great price, great design easy to install actually it took me lest than 2 minutes to install. Bluetooth is a great addition pair it with your phone and it will deliver great sounds
Set up was easy as it was just a single cable and the TV detected it okay (even allowing for the age of the TV) and the advantage of connecting via hdmi/ARC is that the TV remote operates the soundbar as well.
I had done some research as, with a previous soundbar, I had not been able to access audio from Netflix or Amazon Prime Video. Blurb for this product suggested a work around and I followed the instructions as best I could but to no avail. The solution that I stumbled upon is this; I had switched the Dolby off on my TV settings and set the advanced setting to PCM. When streaming Netflix/PV however, this setting is over-ridden by the TV smart App. To get around this, start to play something on the streaming service, pause it, go into your TV settings and amend the advance setting to PCM again. Sound comes through and it remembers this setting change next time you access the app.
In summary I would recommend this product.
So easy to set up with a great sound. My TV was lacking a good sound and now it’s like being in the cinema. I love to watch ACDC on my TV and crack up the volume. Very happy with this sound experience.
I brought this for my tv in the bedroom as most TVs sound very tinny to me and I have to have it quite loud to be able to hear it. I already have a sound bar downstairs for thought I’d get this mini one for the bedroom. Brilliant little thing, great sound quality and is plenty loud enough for a bedroom. Well pleased
I recently bought a smart tv but the sound quality was poor sounding like a cheap radio so I looked at soundbars. I didn’t need top notch sound but I wanted to feel comfortable listening. This one seemed ideal for a low price too. Delivery was next day from Amazon and the soundbar gave a choice of installation options. HDMI, optical or bluetooth. Optical cable was included but not HDMI cable which was my preferred option. Forunately I found a suitable HDMI cable and began installation but after several trawls through the menus on the tv I failed in the installation not getting a sound out of the bar. I fiddled with the remote buttons and tried turning off and on a few times.
Somehow (I have no idea how) a display popped up on the sound bar in green characters which allowed me to scroll the connection options and then I chose ARC (for HDMI) and all was fine. Don’t expect super sound quality but it suits my needs. For the price I think it will be fine.
I Googled for a budget sound bar, this one came up and I was not disappointed. The sound is excellent considering the price point.
One thing to note, connection via HDMI stops this being wall mounted normally. The HDMI cable sticks to far out the back stopping you from hanging it.
There are two solutions:- use longer screw than the one’s supplied or use an articulated HDMI extension.
You will not be disappointed with this sound bar, just BUY IT!

Overall a good little device, solved the issue on most modern TV where they trade off slim TV’s with poor sound. Works well with HMDI ARC ,not easy to find on a small soundbar. Great Size for a bedroom for good purchase. Improvments could be support for dobly 5.1 mix down and a small bass unit built in and maybe a bit more power for playing rock music. Hence ideal purchase would of been all the feature of a large soundbar in a small 20″ case, but cannot get this in life, so overall , solved my problem at a good prize and compact- so 4/5 *’s

I purchased this sound bar for my new Samsung TV, however the sound from the TV was very tinny. I searched different bars and finally decided on this one, purely for the cheapness, look and no separate bass box.
Upon delivery and unpacking I attempted to connect it to the TV with the optical cable. Well that was enlightening. After several attempts to get the lead to stay in i searched on the internet and shown that I needed to remove the protective little clear end caps. Umm, after that the lead fitted and the sound was perfect.
However, Alexa could not adjust the sound, further exploration I noted that a HDMI lead would help and so i connected it with a HDMI lead and wow, so happy. Good quality sound, controlled by Alexa.
Bluetooth works excellent when connecting from my phone, watch and tablet.
Fitted to the wall, with 2 screws, however there could be a little more room behind to allow for cables, however, longer screws used, cables placed down the back have held the bar in place nicely.
Would definitely recommend to friends, family and colleagues as its expensive quality for a reasonable amount of money.
I read a lot of reviews of various sound bars, and decided that this one had the best. I was delighted with the sound and ease of connection. I have used it on my spare room TV, which is quite old, and doesn’t have any HDMI, or Optical connections, so used the ‘Aux’ connection into the headphone output. It works perfectly If you are looking for a less expensive sound bar, this, for the price is the best!.
This soundbar is excellent value for money and enhances the richness of tone on any TV. I have it connected to my smart tv and would recommend it highly. You probably won’t find better value for money.
This is a very good quality soundbar. The sound is great I have this mounted on a wall outside in a decked area. It quick and easy to Unmount disconnect and take in doors when the weather is not so good. Highly recommend!
The sound bar was easy to install, and aesthetically pleasing to look at. Used the optical input and had no problem connecting to my Sony Bravia TV. The sound quality is better than that of the TV, particularly when playing movies where there is a basic cinema sound and reasonable for the price. The remote is not that responsive and needs to be pointed directly at the speaker to make it respond. Suggest having a universal controller to avoid having to have too many to operate the whole AV system. Not tried this though.
Ordered with the idea that it would switch on and off with the TV. HDMI ARC allows the volume to be changed with the TV remote which is the soundbar input, so only use the one remote for that. To have it come on with the TV it needed to be HDMI CEC. As it doesn’t make a noise with no input I just leave it on, then when the TV is switched on it comes back to life
The sound quality is more than adequate for a bedroom.
Used this product as my TV speakers were very tinny and buzzing. Sound quality very impressive and can also be used with bluetooth from my phone. Very satisfied with the purchase and the support from VMAI was very good with easy access to sutomer services if needed
it took a bit of time to set up but once I found the correct input to match the TV Netflix and Prime the sound is much better with films, the sound is always on but you can only adjust the volume from is own controller very good value from Amazon 85
I’ve never had a sound bar before but my family have, I read the reviews on this one and researched it throughly and I am.not disappointed. The sound is so crisp and clear it is beautiful! My dad have no problem.fitting it for.me, relatively straight forward instructions.

Just bought a new Samsung T5300 television and the sound quality was not as good as our previous Panasonic so wanted to try a sound bar.
read the good reviews on this and the good price on it and thought lets give it a try.
Very pleased with it so far using the optical connection but have ordered and HDMI ARC lead so we can also use it for HD television as optical does not support this format.

We bought the sound bar for our telly in order to improve our enjoyment when we listen to music and films. The sound we get is very clear compared to the TV own speaker especially the bass on the music. The only thing we had a problem with was when we were installing it. The cable supplied was split to 2 jack plugs but our TV had a single speaker plug, so we had to buy a new cable locally in order to connect it.
Bought this to beef up my TVs sound for my man cave. Wasn’t interested in spending hundreds on a top of the range job. This was ideally priced, great reviews and arrived within two days of ordering. Doing the job very nicely
It’s loud enough to sit in the garden and hear the music 10m away. If you want really loud then you’ll probably have to spend more on a brand like Bose.
It’s easy enough to set up, I opted to use the optical cable supplied. I had to press the Mode button on the remote x3 times until OPT appeared on the display. That was it.
I also connected my phone to it via bluetooth (no issues) to listen to music.
It can be mounted on the wall but I just sit mine on a shelf under the TV.
You can’t go wrong for the 50 I paid.
I’m keeping it, so nothing more to say.

Very good for the price. Sound quality is good. It was easier to install than I had thought it would be, having no knowledge of installing anything like that before. I also ordered various cables in case I might need them but everything was included that I needed. If you are mounting on a wall Just a Pozidriv and a drill. Fixings are supplied.
I looked for a great value and excellent sound for my Panasonic 4k TV and like most sound comes from the back of TV. Now with my new sound bar it’s easily installed and up and running in a coue ofinutes with optical cable. Unit looks good and through the mesh front you can see the digital display to see settings and sound level. 5*****. Thanks
The sound is as least as good as the TV but without the unwanted noises. The different eq modes don’t seem to make a huge difference. There does seem to be a lot of harshness in the upper end at lower volumes that disappears as you turn up. It’s not a cinematic experience but it isn’t all flubby bass as I’d been told budget soundbars often are.
You can use it as a Bluetooth speaker which I’ve tried briefly just to see if it works – it does with a huge leap in volume from the TV. If I needed a new TV I’d try it against the speakers but it could have a second life as a stand alone Bluetooth speaker.

Liked this very much. Sound quality is great. I’ve used it to tether my mobile via bluetooth for music and for sterio sound when streaming movies. My TV isnt compatable to work with the audio leads or sound HDMI leads when watching Freeview. So I recommend that you check this if it’s what you want to use the sound bar for.
I needed a sound bar for the bedroom T.V and after reading the reviews for this I thought I would give it ago as it was just in my price budget. The delivery time was really good and once arrived the set up was real easy, the sound bar came with an optical lead which was really handy. Once connected I was amazed how good the sound was and having the option of Bluetooth I was able to play my music straight from my tablet as well. The sound bar is nice and slim and has a remote control that allows you to change the sound mode too, great looking. This is an excellent product and definitely would recommend it.
Installation very straightforward with the supplied optical cable, unit is well finished and has proven perfect for out TV (Samsung 6 series). I connected via bluetooth with the phone and that was trouble free and good sound quality.
Overall, it does precisely what we wanted at a price point we were happy with and would recommend.
UPDATE: Been using for a couple of weeks now, no issues at all with TV sound, very clear and has made a real difference to listening to dialogue. Also have used as bluetooth speaker (I connect to the TV via the provided optical cable) and that also worked a charm. Would recommend.
Pro: Value, build quality, ease of use
Con: Audiophiles will need to spend 4 or 5 times the this purchase price to get ‘real’ audio’ and I suppose some could quibble with the quality but we find it ideal. I would prefer the Sky remote adjusted the volume but in fairness I haven’t looked at the ArcHDMI so that’s my bad, not the soundbar.
This sound bar is an excellent product as it gives a dynamic sound with three changeable modes for music. films and news.It also has a built in super-woofer sound.
So this is a quality soundbar, I read all the reviews on this both Good and Bad and thought for the price it would be a decent choice. Firstly I was struggling to get things right, not the basic set up but what I didn’t count on was changing the settings for my TV provider the box. Soon as I did this all the issues I thought I had, some of which mentioned in some reviews went completely. The sound now booms out exclusively from the soundbar. This is real quality I can’t recommend it higher. And the customer service is very good too in assisting if there are any difficulties.
This is my third soundbar and to be honest I wasn’t expecting too much at this price but, I have to say that I was impressed. I connected it using AUX cable plugged into the headphone socket on the tv and can use the tv remote to control the volume.
Also the slim design doesn’t block the screen.
Worked well minor set up time using “Optical out” but you must make sure that you set the sound menu on the tv from “Dolby DTS” to PCM for the best performance. Really improves the sound from the TV (as you would expect) But maybe it would be better if it were a little more powerful (rated 60Watt) particularly from the point of view of bass. That said its still a good allrounder.
Absolutely love this soundbar. Sound quality great and the surround sound is so good. We have it attached to our TV stand and just had to use 2 nuts and bolts. Easy to install in this way. Perfect better than we expected for the money as we have it connected to our virgin media box and Alexa.
My new 65 inch tv doesn’t have very big speakers, so it’s perfect for watching movies, nice and loud with great surround sound. Great value for the price.
