Very impressed with soundbar ,I wanted one but hubby didn’t think we needed one , now we have got it set up we are now planning on getting another one for our other TV ! easy to install and the sound quality is amazing ,sound fills the room ,you could almost be part of whatever you are watching , recently streamed live lockdown music to the TV which was very impressive with the soundbar as was YouTube , remote very simple to use , didnt know what to expect for the price so pleasently surprised ,well worth purchasing.
I had a sound bar from another well known make but was not impressed and sent in back, ordered this one from VMAI and so far i am satisfied connection leads came with it but sadly no batteries which they apologized in an e-mail with instructions and a thankyou for purchasing good service and sounds good

Very pleased with this sound bar. Reasonable price and good sound quality for the money. Looks good up on the wall in my outside bar area and Bluetooth very easy to connect.
Great value for money. Installation was logical – having to disconnect the sound coming through the TV speakers and then reconnect the sound to the sound box. Very impressed with the sound after having had a problem with the sound coming only through the TV speakers, which was limited. Would highly recommend to others who wish to buy a straight forward sound bar to boost their TV.
I like it. I’m a novice sound bar owner, I am not a techy. I have a smart tv. I connected it up. Works a treat, noticeable sound difference, very clear sound and pretty impressive.
Was in need of a soundbar for the living room. First impressions once pulled out of the box, nice and sleek style. Its a good soundbar if you dont want to spend too much, but offers great sound quality. The sound is crisp and strong. Being used and loved by the whole family.
My wife and I are elderly and find this Soundbar makes a big difference to our ‘hearing experience’ with our television. It also fits in well on the shelf above our television. I did not find it very easy to install, as I am not at all ‘teccy’, but a good support service was available by email (from Susan) to help me to do so.
Much improved sound quality than my TV. Easy to set up, remote is good and i can play music from my mobile via remote including pause which is handy. Recommended !!

This is a great product, we expected the quality to be low since the price range was quite shocking but we loved it. It’s easy to install and arrives quickly. Your not going to get a better price and quality speaker after this.
Superb sound, excellent balance, base is just right, not overpowering and it’s easy to set up. Be patient if you have a skybox and can’t hear some channels, you simply have to turn off the Dolby in the settings on your sky box.
Sound is great on this sound bar, the only disappointing thing for me and I should have done my research first is that it does not connect to sky controller. It is a lot easier if you only need to use one controller to control sound, programmes etc, but there is no code for this with sky, so have to use separate controllers!

I thought the TV sound was not the best but good enough. When I saw the price I changed my mind and bought.

This is a fantastic sound bar. Love the different modes, you can tell a real difference between them all. It was easy to set up, and is very easy to use. Sound bars tend to be quite big items, but this is unobtrusive and you don’t really notice it there. Fantastic item and would recommend.

Couldn’t resist this soundbar , price was great and since I’ve set it up with the included optical cable I haven’t been disappointed with it.
Sound quality is very good. No distortion at high volume. I would definitely recommend this sound bar. Only thing against was finding that it would only work properly once I was able to disable the dolby stereo in my TV menu and youview. Still a great buy though.

Overall, I must say that I am extremely satisfied with both the product and the customer service. The Vmai soundbar is a product packed with useful features such as great sound quality, bluetooth 5.0 and many other features which allow it to be a great product.
I got this for my man-shed, didn’t want anything with a separate sub due to space issues.
The wall bracket is built-in, so basically you put 2 screws into your wall and slot it in.
I set this up with the optic cable as my tv is old and didn’t support HDMi sound.
The sound is really good at this price point, you turn it up and people WILL complain (in my case; it was my girlfriend). I went through all the Dolby sound check videos on youtube with it and I was impressed.
Recommended for small rooms.
This sound bar looks nice and sounds even better. The price is just right and it makes watching movies a joy again (afterr the speakers on my TV broke). The remote is small but effective up to 6-8 ft away. I should also note that the after sales care and product support is excellent!
Great soundbar at a very good price! Am actually impressed-was a bit worried about some of the reviews, but the sound is great and I love the simple remote and the fact that it came with a digital optical cable, making the plugging a piece of cake!
Got this for tv in bedroom and it sounds great. They ARE easy to install as it connects via Bluetooth- but because im not very technologically minded tried all the various inputs first without success- forgot things work by magic nowadays! Gave 4 stars for ‘easy to install’ as it wasn’t clear that it was so easy to install!
The sound bar is brilliant and excellent value for money. We have a LG TV and so easy to connect with the optical cable. Sound is theatre quality with built in subwoofer. Absolutely delighted with the product.

I bought this for my partner who is a bit hard of hearing. Very pleased with the sound quality. The sound is so much clearer so he can hear it without having the volume unbearably loud for everyone else. It looks good with the tv and it was very easy to install. I like the easy to use ‘one press’ settings to make it better for music/news/film. When set on film or news you can hear voices much more clearly and they don’t get drowned out by the background music. All in all I am very pleased with this product and I would highly recommend.
Looking for one of these for my partner for Xmas.
After reading the reviews i opted for this one and im so glad i did. Very good soundbar. Great bass and sound. Easy to set up. Just plug n play. Nice design looks great. Also has its own wall mountings built in. Even comes with a toslink/optical cable which is a bonus.
So after reveiwing this for a month im really impressed with this soundbar my only floor with this is that depending on the sound quality of the dvd you wont get a lot of bass but you can hear everything that they are saying though and if your watching a more recent dvd you can really feel the bass ive also used this to play on my xbox 360 and the sound is mind blowing aswell as watching films on netflix so for the price i got mine for 63 pounds on offer which is really good if your on a budget all in all great soundbar… So a quick update on this I’ve had it a year now and I’ve started to use the optical port on this I’ve used all the ports and the optical is the best if you want that cinema experience I’m using bluray and it is alot louder then It was using hdmi and there’s more of a punchy sound through optical so for a budget speaker this is really good I gave it an average review a year ago but now I say it’s so much better then I thought after using optical

Purchased his sound bar because the sound on my TV varied so much from programme to programme and I was constantly having to adjust the sound. I am very pleased to say that this has made a huge difference to the quality of sound and the consistency in sound levels between programmes.
I own 4 sound bars of varying different price ranges for use in different rooms. I saw this one, and given it was very reasonably priced and had good reviews i ordered one. This performs similarly to a roughly 150 sound bar I use for my TV and a lot lot better than one’s I’ve got at a similar price to this which are mainly in spare bedrooms for guests to use. I’m not an audiophile or sound expert, but this is the first soundbar without a dedicated bass unit which still seems to give a “punch” and not sound kind of flat if that makes sense. Well worth it for the price, and the customer support is amongst the best I’ve had with queries.
I was debating whether to get a more expensive, well known sound bar but could not justify the price tag. My TV speakers are not great, and so I thought I’d opt for this entry level soundbar.
For the price, this is fantastic. It’s very easy to install (plug into the back of your TV and that’s it), and the sound quality is amazing. I have it set below “10” and it is clear as a bell.
Very happy I didn’t waste over 200 and went with this option instead.
Easy set up, sound quality good, easy to use remote. Fitted mine beneath the tv and having the connections in the centre means cable can be hidden. The price for this bar is the best bit.
Bought for the bedroom and, admittedly a little skeptical in view of the price.
Set up in five minutes, and tested with a heavy bass number from YouTube. Very impressed. As it’s in the bedroom I’ll never go to full volume but it’s perfect for my needs, (watching and listening to music whilst on an exercise bike.

Very good sound quality and more volume that you will need in a regular living room (which is great). The sound is clear and you have different modes depending on for what you want to use it. Another advantage is that you can control the volume directly with the TV remote if you connect it via HDMI.
Moreover, the remote that came with the soundbar didn’t work, so I reached out to the seller and they sent a new one for free overnight (arrived in less than 24 hours), which worked perfectly.
Overall, very satisfied with the purchase. This is a nice soundbar that offers great quality for the price.

Good quality sound and easy to install! Only downside is due to me having an older tv and as I use the Xbox on hdmi sound cannot be put through the hdmi but still great sound! Also I recently messaged them because I had lost my remote and wanted to know if I could purchase a new one within an hour they responded and are sending me a new one free of charge! Which I wasn’t expecting. Amazing customer service!
Very easy to set up. The manual was good plus you get a courtesy email from Vmai explaining the pitfalls of Dolby – which would have been useful to know for our previous Logik soundbar.

Have used soundbars in the past with varying results but this one does the job. I use it in front of a 52 inch smart tv. connecting with the supplied optical lead. When I get more hdmi leads will try ARC as tv supports it.
Sound is powerful and clear without booming base. First foray into the world of sound bars, after years of coveting one. Didn’t want to spend hundreds of pounds, so wanted something that would strike the right balance between cost and quality. After reading a few reviews, this one seemed ideal: and so it proved! The sound quality was immediately obvious and I am absolutely delighted with this item. So easy to install and with a very handy and intuitive remote control! Couldn’t ask for more really – highly recommended if you’re looking for a good, cost effective sound bar. The Bluetooth feature alone is worth the cost, given it allows me to play music direct from my phone.
Bought this sound bar to use with my commercial screen as it doesn’t have in-built speakers. Bought a separate aux to twin mono lead so it would fit the connection on the screen and it works perfectly. Easy to set up, literally plug in and go. I spent two weeks trying to decide on a sound bar and so pleased i went for this one.
I purchased this to replace an old and failing AV amplifier and did not expect to be blown away, but I was not disappointed after all it is a budget soundbar. The connections give you plenty of scope, I chose HDMI ARC although Optical is passable and BT works well with connections from both my phone and tablet, forget RCA. It’s very easy to operate using the supplied remote although I use a Harmony remote that connects to this VMAI S5 bar.
Now that fifth star, this is not wall mountable with HDMI as any quality cable protrudes just too far. The budget Optical/Toslink supplied cable just about allows mounting. In the end after contacting the seller, who replied very quickly with advice and suggested a 90 degree HDMI cable, which I had and tried but would not fit due to the soundbar connections set too deep. In the end I purchased an articulated HDMI connector and some spacers it was then mounted on the wall just under the TV.
It actually sounds a little better wall mounted and thanks to the sellers contact and support I will not be returning this soundbar as I originally intended. In fact although I’ve only had it a few days I’m quite happy with this sound bar and agree with the many positive reviews.
Really pleased with this. Took two minutes to set up and it’s a great sound bar – a steal at the price. Completed my home cinema perfectly just in time for October horror marathons!!

This soundbar is great, very easy to install, all necessarily cables with it. Sound is perfect in the High and lows, 3D . My friend ordered same day one after hearing the sound of it. Will probably by one more for in the bedroom.
My TV is approx 9 yrs old, couldn’t set up from instructions so did live chat with amazon & very friendly helpful guy went through set up step by step for my TV ports & we got it working. Very happy with sound. Makes a huge difference to volume quality
Have been using it for a few weeks now and I’m very impressed with the performance so far.
I have wall mounted the unit and connected the soundbar to my TV using the HDMI ARC option (HDMI cable not supplied) and this works well for me as the soundbar just comes on and off as I switch on my TV. An optical cable and AV cables are provided as part of the package so there are various options to connect to the device
The Bluetooth option also works very well and very easy to stream music from my phone.
The remote control works very well and the same functions are also available on top of the bar
Should you misplace the controller. The sound is excellent and it comes with various preset sound modes to suit the type of content being viewed or listened to.
Would highly recommend if you are looking for a compact, superior sound system in comparison to your standard TV output, and at an affordable price.
Arrived before I’d expected, so delighted with the speed of delivery. Well packaged. The product itself is unobtrusive and fits on the TV stand well with no overhang etc.
The installation, setup and operation was so easy. It was precisely the sort of ‘plug and play’ product that I like. I used the optical connection using the cable supplied and was pleased with the sound which was good for the price of the sounder. Just wanted better sound than the sound coming from the TV and from that point of view it did the job. Extremely pleased overall.
My family are rewatching all our favourite films as the soundbar adds a new experience to watching films and TV! You can hear sounds that were previously buried, especially in high end films like Lord of the Rings. Very easy to install – the sound sync lag via bluetooth was too big (to be fair this could be the TV and the option is more for connecting your phone for music or the radio), but there’s an optical cable which provided perfectly synced audio/video. (there’s a wired option too which would also provide perfectly synced sound). All in all a worthwile purchase as it’s vastly improves TV sound and for a very reasonable price.

I was a little worried about how the sound quality would be for such a low price. It is excellent. Easy to set up with supplied optical cable. I can’t fault it for the price.
This item cannot be controlled by any remote other than the one that is supplied with the sound bar.
Arrived promptly. Soundbar was well packed. Connected it too my Sony Bravia tv via the hdmi arc connection and turned it on. Worked straight away. Connected my iPhone via Bluetooth.
It sits in front of the tv and looks great. The sound is good as well.
After it arrived received an email from the supplier via Amazon with helpful tips and contacts which is good customer service
Have only had it a couple of days but very pleased so far.
Very easy to connect and the simple controls make it simplicity itself to get the best experience. I mounted it on the wall in seconds and sits great beneath my 50″.
Set it up with a HDMI pretty easy. Kinda plug and play.
Sound quality is good you can really feel the difference from bog standard TV speakers.

Arrived well packed, excellent build quality. Set up was easy into the TV, can bluetooth my music from my phone or mini jack from my apple hi-pod. Also plays your music from a u.s.b stick, all these functions , plus the remote .

Ordered this to use occasionally for TV sound and bluetooth music. Connectivity was straightforward for optical and bluetooth, haven’t tried ARC HDMI yet but intend to use this good feature shortly. TV sound was much improved. The early 20-somethings in the house also approved. Volume is good but this is not a super loud product and bass is limited but adequate. It’s unfair to compare this against similar products with much higher price points. If you want something with the potential performance of 300+ then consider spending that but for the price this is a 5 star product.
bought the soundbar to hook up to my tv,using the optical input and have paired it with my fire tv stick via bluetooth.First impression on hearing it were a bit dubious but once its run in for a few hours it really comes to life musically,one little niggle for me personally is that it could do with more choice in the equalizer selection to get the perfect sound but overall good value for money

The sound bar isn’t too big and fits perfectly between the feet of my TV. The remote works very well and is very responsive. There is no lag on the TV, and the sound is very clear. The bass isn’t thumping, which may disappoint some people, but there is no distortion, which is the sole reason I bought a sound bar! The sound bar comes with an optical cable, which is very useful, but I have opted to use HDMI-ARC, for which I had to buy a separate cable. The settings are fairly basic however, and I would’ve like to have seen more choices other than 3 presets. The sound won’t go any louder than your TV – it isn’t an amplifier, but the clarity make the sound much better than flat screen TV speakers. All in all, good value for money and a very adequate sound bar for under 100.00.
Easy to set-up and connect, slim and compact, and wall mountable (Brackets supplied!). All these are what we were looking for in this product. Supplied with all the cables and supplies you need to get started. This is simple to use and very straight forward with instructions.

This is my first soundbar so difficult to compare it with anything else.
Everything was quite easy to set up. The sound is slightly better when watching tv and dvds.
For some reason when watching Amazon Prime via my Firestick the sound quality is excellent even at a low volume, much better when watching tv or dvd.
The company are very quick to respond to any queries.
Overall I am happy with this soundbar and you can’t go wrong at this price. It also looks good next to the tv.
I have since tweaked the settings on my tv which has improved the sound.

Great basic sound bar for everyday use. For the price it’s really good quality and sound. My previous sound bar was way more expensive but I can barely tell the difference. Arrived next day and was nicely packaged. Easy to follow instruction manual.
Set-up is effortless with little logistical issue as there’s no reason to keep the soundbar far from the TV / audio device. Connecting to Bluetooth is also very straightforward. The sound quality is amazing for the price paid. The cables provided are also relatively long allowing for flexibility in how you set up.
I cannot outline any faults as I have no experienced any. It is a very reliable product. The instruction manual comes with troubleshooting which is a bonus.
Overall, phenomenal product.
