I bought this to add a speaker to an iMac Mini and also to use as a general mobile speaker for Apple iphone, iPad and to use for presentations. The sound quality is more than adequate for all I wanted it to do.
Ok for the money, but not much better than the mini. Graphic equaliser on app doesn’t achieve much in terms of adjusting sound quality. Still, I like Anker products in general.
I’ve had a JBL Flip 2 for the last twelve years and thought it was the best until it started to vibrate and buzz on certain notes. So I looked at buying a new one. I had paid quite a bit for it but now they are much more expensive so I looked at cheaper alternatives. After reading all the reviews I decided to go for the Anker Soundcore and I was not disappointed! The sound is excellent and everything about it is totally user friendly. I think this speaker is brilliant value for money.
This a very good sounding speaker with surprising bass for it’s price and size.
I use it while out hiking and camping the battery life is perfect as lasts longer than I need it to, an added bonus it can be used to top up my mobile in an emergency but never used this feature.

Sound quality is great for such a small device. Very portable and the battery lasts more than I need. Took it on holiday on the beach in the shower and used in the kitchen at home. Very easy to setup and use.
Carry strap is a bit like a boot lace with a knot in it, but it does the job.
Looks very robust and good quality.
This little speaker is great value for money, amazing quality. Bass and treble is really good for the size of the unit. Great for garden parties or an impromptu BBQ.

Comment that said you can adjust the equaliser by installing the app which I did and I’m glad I tried it because the sound is actually really good for such a small thing, the bass obviously is no where as good as a BOSE or Denon but for the price it’s great. I got this On a lightening deal and it was well worth the money.
For such a small speaker, the sound quality is excellent and the volume is amazing. The Bluetooth link up is fast and the range is great. So easy to use.
I bought this to replace a previous version on which I’d broken the charging port. The sound on the new version is much better and i think pretty good given the price but I’m not a complete audiophile. Battery life is very good lasting around 3-5 days of use during office hrs. Excellent value for money really.
I cannot fault the soundcore speaker. This is my second purchase. Very robust, sound quality very good and the volume range is loud enough to enjoy if you are in a party mood. I take the speaker everywhere. Ordered a second one because my daughter borrowed my other speaker.
I love it is the best I ever had big battery amazing sound very practical and water proof . My son put it under water multiple times and is working fine absolutely no issue .
This speaker is great for the price its ideal in my bedroom, bathroom and out when washing the car. Sound is rich and full with decent mid range and base for such a small speaker. Yes it’s not for a large living room or movies then you will need its larger brother. The battery lasts for a very long time had it 1 month and only charged twice so far. I would say it lasts as long as the manufacturers claims. Would recommend this little portable speaker.
I know nothing about the technical side of these kind of items but what I can say is WOW! Its a little beauty! Small but perfectly formed. I love the outside finish – kind of rubberised matt look – very stylish. The sound quality is perfect for me, I luurrrve a good bass and this is smooth & deep. I haven’t tested the full volume capacity (yet) as I use it in my crafting shed & don’t want to entertain the whole village, although Im convinced it would perform that job very efficiently Connects to bluetooth immediately and after a full charge on arrival I haven’t had to charge again yet (2weeks) so that bodes well Overall its a perfect little power house of loveliness for me. Fully recommended.
This is a really nice bit of kit. I work from home and got sick of listening to music via my computer speakers. This thing brings a whole new dimension to listening to music. Really good bass and warmth to music. Loud enough and great all round sound. Just brilliant. Charge lasts a long time. Worth the money.
Bought this as a replacement for the Sony Bluetooth speaker I bought no more than a month or so ago.
Sound quality is far superior, you can play around with the equaliser on the app:, also battery life is five times the quality of life them.
Build quality is also superb for such a smallish speaker.
The quality for the price is unmatched, just buy it, find out.
I am not an audiophile, but the sound from this is good from a small budget speaker. I used this to upgrade a Soundcore Mini speaker that I have used for many years (and is still going strong).
Some observations that might be useful:
– It did not sound good out if the box. Like some other audio products I have owned, it needs some hours of running in and then then sound, in its default settings, is much improved. I wonder whether some others who have been disappointed with the sound have not realised this.
– I was concerned about the sound effects when turning on and off being annoying/disruptive (I use the speaker in my office, so it is on and off a lot for calls). These sounds can be turned off in the app via a ‘voice prompts’ option.
– The charge and power light double up, so if the speaker is on it’s not clear if it is or isn’t charging, However, there is a charge and power indicator in the app.
Overall, good value, especially at 40 on discoount.
I suppose the only downside would be the bass reduction af full volume, but it makes sense to do that to avoid any distortion from the speaker. And don’t forget you can link this speaker to other soundcore speakers for larger gatherings.
My only disappointment is the lack of inputs. No USB, memory card or 3.5 jack inputs – so it’s Bluetooth only, but please don’t let this put you off. It really is an incredible speaker!
I bought this exact speaker after seeing one in action doing a really good job of filling a big room in a camping barn with music. Haven’t been disappointed. The bluetooth connectivity is really reliable and connects in a couple of seconds when turned on. The sound quality is great. The battery appears to go on forever (haven’t actually had to charge it yet and I’ve had it for 2 months, using several times a week). The loop is handy too for hanging it up. I waited for it to be in a deal, which happens quite regularly, and at that price it’s well worth the money.
The sound quality is perfect, how? Well, if you don’t like the way it sounds 100% you can change it and adapt it to better suit your choice of music and sound via a free app. I’ve never needed to charge it, what I mean is, it’s never told me the battery is low. I charge for an occasion like a family day out or a bbq and It’s just lasted. Usually on 75% volume none stop. It’s laud, really laud and usually at top volume a speaker can sound distorted, not this one! Highly reccomend!
The speaker connects easily to Bluetooth and has very good sound which I can hear even when I’m on a different floor in the house.
I work in construction so the ruggedness of the speaker is great for me as it is always getting bumped and sometimes dropped on site and as the speaker has a rubber casing around it I’ve never had any problems after things like that have happened.
The speaker works great just as it did when I bought it even with the amount of times it’s been dropped etc.
The battery life is also good I can have the speaker on for a full 8 hour shift and still have battery left at the end of the day.
After much research, reading reviews etc. I decided to take the plunge with the Soundcore 3 and with the current 20% deal on Amazon I purchased this fantastic speaker for 44. It seemed a no brainier and the use of titanium on the drivers made sliding the buy now bar easy.
50% cheaper than my budget, but far exceeding my expectations. I’m not going to waffle on any more, but safe to say it is well made compact and sturdy, covered in a rubber coating and is splash proof.
The sound is fantastic capable of handling everything from jazz to hip-hop, acoustic to rock and deep house. My criteria described above more than fulfilled!
There’s a handy app to control eq and connect multiple speakers and users so you can share DJ duty with a friend. Don’t faff about mired in all the choice out there. Just get one. Good Luck!

This is a lovely piece of kit. The sound from it is quite sublime. What I like about it is just a Bluetooth speaker with no other connections which is just what I wanted. Really great value and highly recommended.

The matte rubber finish on the outside looks nice, but easy to scuff and to look dirty. Also has USB-C charging!

I bought my son a pricey bluetooth portable speaker for Christmas and I was very impressed, however, budget couldn’t afford that make again, so I chose this make.

One thing I’d recommend is to install the Soundcore app on your phone so you can turn on the ‘Bass-up’ feature & tweak the EQ. Out of the box it can sound a bit flat, but once I installed the app & played around with the sound profile I was really impressed with it.

A small speaker with a big personality. Great product and excellent service.
I’ve had this great little speaker over a year now (purchased Oct 2021) and its been permanently fixed to my handlebars since. It still produces rich sound and bass and is truly weatherproof (queried the technical team at Anker extensively prior to buying as it’s purpose would be having my music on the move) having been submergeged in a bathtub for an hour to make sure it would take abuse as a truly outdoor speaker. It has withstood winter freezes snow and torrential downpours and is about to face a second winter! The battery life on a full charge gives me approximately 6 hrs with everything maxed out and just under 9hrs with bass dropped down to almost nothing. Granted its not the loudest speaker but it’s not a 100+ speaker. I’ve only had two instances of Bluetooth dropout where I’ve had to re-pair with my phone. Other than that, it’s reliable in terms of stable Bluetooth connection. For around 40 you’ll not find better without making sacrifices.
