One of the best.
Comfortable good sound quality. ANC is very good at least for me. During the jogging session they stay in I don’t have to correct them at all. In my humble opinion they are the best value for money.
Sof far the best earbuds I had!
Goods:
– you literally feel the music is playing in your head but in your ears
– the quality of music is perfect, just next level
– the bass is so deep that you feel drawing and is so heavy that you better take a seat and is pure as baby soul
– finally LOUD earbuds, I use them on my Xiaomi Mi6 (old phone) and they are very loud, I don’t struggle anymore because street noise bother me when I use earbuds, but don’t get me wrong, LOUD on these earbuds doesn’t mean the music lose quality, the sound still clear/clean/pure
– they are adjustable, 4 sizes for any ear shapes
– the equaliser in the app is more than enough, is very diversified, combined with your phone equaliser you get countless tipes of sound
– the app is simple in use, you can scan your ears like how’s your hearing and to personalize the earbuds
– etc because anyone can find many personal pluses in these earbuds
Bads:
– sometimes when opening the case one of the lights under earbud doesn’t light so you have to close and open again the case
– when playing music the connection is glitching (but it may be because of my old phone)
– you can’t turn them off until you put them in the case, I forgot once the case home so during my working hours the earbuds were on which is not very comfortable cause even they don’t play they still lose charge which is not very comfortable
– the ANC is ok, I guess on the market there are better ANC, but these are just ok on this point (can’t say that the ANC is bad)
In conclusion these earbuds worth their money +100500% and I would effectively recommend them for those people who choose them for music&bass quality and also for those who’s looking for loud earbuds.
Thank you Anker!!!
Great product, could have better ANC
Many reviewers may say similar notes on its great quality and its crisp and defined bass quality. But the reason its a 4/5 star is because the active noise cancellation still has a ways to go to but for this budget it supposedly is 90% worth it. Overall experience is decent and phenomenonal. So close, but not there yet.
My Go to buds with LDAC very hard to beat.
(Bought direct from Soundcore on an early bird deal)
These are my favourite – go to buds, With LDAC they are a 5 star – if you don’t have LDAC (Apple etc) they are still great but there are alternatives so please consider if your phone/device has that.
I am a bit of an ear bud/headphone junkie – and have had a wide variety over the years. Shure 846s, Timeless 7hz, various Kzs, Senns, Sonys, Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro, etc The Timeless 7hz with a dedicate headphone dac is probably the best ear bud quality rig I have. But the L3Ps get so close (and its in the 90%+) and none of that faff setting up +portable, case charging – and you get noise cancelling and the app for EQing…
If I was only allowed one set of buds it would the be L3P. Nothing is close in terms of value/features/quality.
I came from these from Ankers Libery Air 2 Pro which I was a bit disappointed with until they upgraded the firmware to include LDAC which improved it. Even with LDAC the LA2Ps arnt as good as the L3Ps and its noticeable – ok the LA2Ps are smaller and lighter but the sound quality – sorry not even close.
They only issue with the L3Ps is they are a little big – but thats because of the drivers = sound quality- I wouldn’t run or cycle with them but they are fine waking around/commuting. Ive even done the lawn and hedges with them on (power tools).
In case your looking there is a new one – the soundcore Space A40s. I haven’t heard them but I watch a lot of review and they seem to be small and light but limited in sound with the L3Ps considered better sound quality. So Im passing on those.
If you dont like ear buds – then the soundcore Q35s or even better the Q45 are over ear and excellent,
I just read this and realise I sound like a soundcore rep – I promise – Im not – its just they make great products at great prices and their customer service is amazing.
Fantastic sound quality, fit not so good
Firstly, and most importantly, the sound quality of these ear buds is really outstanding. They simply sound great. The “3D Surround Sound” setting (accessible through the Soundcore app) gives fantastic stereo separation for all types of modern music with no negative effects on sound quality that I can hear.
There are also plenty of options for tailoring the sound in plain stereo modes including the HearID mode which is based on an analysis of one’s hearing response, which is fascinating to check out for itself.
The main negative, which does not for me outweigh the positives, is that I just cannot get these buds to fit well and stay reliably in my ears, whichever of the tips and wings I use. I have really tried but they do not overcome the weight of the buds so I always have to be a bit careful not to lose them when I am out running or even fast walking. I also have a pair of the Liberty 2 Pro earbuds which fit really well and I never have a problem with these, but they simply don’t sound as good.
One other REAL annoyance for me is that the Soundcore app, which is a pretty good effort in general, requires you to log in when you open it. Fair enough, as this enables settings to be saved and so on, but it does not save your username and password in the Apple keychain, so you have to remember what these are. How stupid is this? I have hundreds of username/passwords for various logins – how do Anker expect me to remember what my password is for their app when I away from my home without access to my password list?
This is what the Keychain is for – even if for some ridiculous reason they don’t want these details to be automatically retrieved from the Keychain, they could at least provide for manually accessing it, but they don’t even do this. This really annoys me as it is a little thing to the developers but a really big annoyance to the user. This is not a high security situation, but the inconvenience of not having the password stored is a real hassle.
Upgrade from Liberty pro 2
I love these ear buds. I got them on an offer for 99. I already own a pair of the Liberty 2, and I do notice a difference in the noise cancelling, the clarity, and the soundstage.
I use them with an Ibasso DX 170 HiRes digital audio player, and they compliment it very well.
I also have a pair of Jabra 75t, but I prefer these.
Vs Sony mx3
I didn’t think that the winner for 2021 of headphones can be comparable or with a pair of buds, but this particularly in ear buds make me change my opinion. What can I say more… AMAZED by sound in flac mode, battery, customization of settings, comfort for long time. Well done Sound Core
UPDATE: Sadly after almost two months I had to return for a non quibble refund. The right bud developed an intermittent fault whereby the signal broke up for a second or two. Un-paired, re-paired tried everything I was asked to do but sadly I had to return these amazing sounding buds. The right one often fell out during a weight training session and I suppose that could have been part of the issue. Despite trying all buds and wings that right one often dropped out of my ear. Sitting down of an evening listening, they were fantastic and I doubt many would be disappointed with the incredible soundstage. They did appear to be very well made.
I’d started with a wonderful looking generic pair of buds that I purchased and sadly that was the only superlative, they looked good. I returned and bought a pair of Samsung Galaxy Live buds. The sound was incredible but the fit wasn’t; they just felt like lumps in my ears that I continually struggled to get them to stay in place. I gave up; very disappointed though as the sound really was excellent.
So after hours and hours reading reviews I came down to two pairs. One I bought ,the other I didn’t. I took the plunge and bought the Soundcore by Anker Liberty 3 Pro Active Noise Cancelling Earbuds and waited.
The box is very impressive with what can only be described as a full range of ear tips and wings. I felt certain there would be a combination that would fit me and they did. I downloaded the Soundcore app which I should mention is really comprehensive. First up was a full charge with buds in situ. Set up from that point with my Samsung S20FE was simplicity. Next up was get them into my ears. Insert, slightly turn them so the wing locks in place, job done. Next up after looking at the plethora of settings available was listen to some music. I hit play with Barns Courtney ‘Glitter & Gold.’ Followed by The Dead South – ‘In Hell I’ll Be In Good Company.’ Wow wow wow. I had a good fiddle with the settings getting things just right for me. I’m an old aged pensioner who once upon a time teetered on being a sudo audiophile with Audiolab hardware and Mission 753 speakers. Those days are long behind me, and now i just want to hear clear music with balanced pleasing tones. I was not disappointed with the results. One side of me thought the Samsung Galaxy buds Live were very close in quality but after several hours I can hand on heart say these Liberty 3s are another dimension.
My last on ear pair were the enchanting Plantronics Backbeats from around seven or eight years back, and they were good. These are better from Soundcore which is pretty amazing concerning the comparison from on ear to in ear. As sound quality is so subjective I’ll leave that element and move on. suffice to say for me they sound incredible.
The Fit?
Really I have to give them five stars, although energetic use is yet to be tested and I’ll update the review at that time. They are so simple to fit and do seal nicely allowing deep tones to be easily heard.
Noise Cancelling abilities?
As I say, I’ve yet to go out and try that element but at home where it is quiet I can hear the deep hiss in-between tracks or at quiet parts. Clearly that is not a test as I need to go into a noisy environment. I did turn the TV on and could not hear it even during quiet parts of any given track.
Batteries?
Really good. The app shows current charge so you know how long you have left. I had them in off and on all afternoon and they were still going, so really I imagine they’d easily last the longest gym session.
All in all I’m delighted and will not be returning these.
Outstanding ear buds
I had previously had Bose QC earbuds which had great sound but a poor fit and limited app options. These blew me away with fit, sound quality and the options in the app. Watch out big names.
Best earphones/headphones I have ever owned!
I’ll keep this review fairly short and sweet. I consider myself an audiphile so sound quality is a top priority.
These have the best sound quality I have ever heard from a set of earbuds/all headphones… By a long shot. I have owned the Sony WF-1000XM3 buds, Bose QC 35 ii and QC 45 and a number of lesser costing earphones and these blow everything I’ve ever tried out of the water.
The soundstage is very wide with clear instrument placement. Treble is very crisp however never harsh (a big fault of the QC 45). Midrange is always perfectly present, and the bass is spot on. It has that theatre low Hz bass that is hard to find on headphones but it does not use this in an overpowering way. This is the only set of headphones I’ve used where I haven’t had to tinker endlessly with the equaliser.
Max volume is also the loudest I’ve ever experienced (with absolutely no distortion at max) and the ANC is decent. Yes it’s not Bose/Sony level of ANC but on 75% volume on a train or plane you will never hear your surroundings.
Battery life is brilliant too. I did have a few connection issues early on but two software updates have completely fixed that.
Bare in mind it is PARAMOUNT to use these in LDAC mode. Not turning this on puts them in basic ACC Bluetooth quality which does not give these earphones a chance to shine. There is a clear quality increase when switching to LDAC.
Perhaps the only complaint I have is that they are slightly laggy/out of sink when watching movies/TV shows etc. However this isn’t an issue for me as I use VLC player which has an inbuilt audio sync delay feature. Also the surround and wide soundstage is fantastic on these with Dolby Atmos on my Samsung tablet.
Absolutely recommended. Don’t fall for all the marketing hype of Sony & Bose!
Great headphones at the fraction of the price of Bose
Great sounding headphones. Noise cancellation is not as good as brands like Bose and Sony but these are a lot cheaper.
You get lots of options with regards to size of buds and fittings and these fit even with my tiny little ears. Comfortable to wear for prolonged periods too.
There is an app to go with these and I highly recommend you use it to get the best out of them
Really enjoying these.
No idea what kinda Hocus Pocus is going on under the hood but these little guys are superb. I love almost everything about them.
Double connect is a wonderful thing and works flawlessly for me.
Still getting the hang of the app but so far, so good!
