Super fast free delivery. Helmet is cool but probably needs more weathering. The sound effects were alot cooler than I thought they would be. Very comfortable to wear too although it does look silly on 35 year old man lol. Very expensive for what will be a display piece.

Great quality and I surprised how good the detail on it was, I’ve seen more expensive prop lids which aren’t half as good as this. Not 100% screen accurate but the closest you’ll get at this price.

Love this helmet! I’ve got a big head and it fits comfortably without feeling squeezed in. The detail is awesome and the sound effects are a nice little touch. Well worth a buy.
This is great, its sturdy and well made, its also been properly weathered to look used. Makes a great piece for any collector and definately reccommend these. padding is a nice touch and good quality. it is very good and great value. Black Series helmets are very good, this is one of their best.

This helmet is amazing! The quality is superb and the attention to detail is fabulous. All yhe pieces look amazing and display and the sound effects when connecting parts together are great! The vader breathing is awesome too. I would have liked some voice clips too but you cant have everything. Definitely not disappointed.
This cost less than the black series stormtrooper helmet but has FAR more detail and fits much better. My husband was very happy with it.

As others have said, this arrived without any outer ‘Amazon’ packaging so had the address label on the ‘Hasbro’ box. I guess I should have indicated it was a gift and then it would have come in a grey plastic bag !!!

First piece is the collar brace you unclip to fit round your neck, once clipped on the face mask clips on so well before finally applying the helmet which again slots on sturdy via its magnetic connection
Once completed Press the button on the collor to sound vaders breather or remove the helmet and the mask for tue collar ti sound of his injured breathing

Ever since I was a small child and first saw Return of the Jedi and the scene where look stripped back Vader’s helmet/mask, I literally dreamed of being able to own one of these.
Over the years there have been several fan made/custom builds but these were never anything close to being affordable.
And then Hasbro release this!
This is what dreams are made of.
It’s made of high quality plastic, the mould of the mask looks accurate (although it’s huge…which just makes the Vader visage seem all the more imposing)
Because it’s a mass produced product and not a prop it may not be quite movie accurate, but it’s pretty damn close.
I imagine for those that are going for real accuracy, this would make an excellent base for them to add customised paintwork and detailing, but otherwise for less ‘fussy’ fans, this should tick all of the boxes between accuracy and affordability.
This sits pride and place on display in my man cave, and every now and then it’s cool to put on – lift off the helmet, peel off the face plate and expose the neck collar just like in the movie.
This really is the stuff that geek dreams are made of and I’d buy this all over again if I could.

What can I say but excellent. The helmet is the best, accurate and comfortable. Takes a little time to put on but no issues and it looks great.
My husband loved it! Good quality, well made and with sound effects.
Came well packaged in an outer Amazon box.
I managed to get it at a heavily reduced price (I had paid 100 for a Stormtrooper Ep4-6 helmet previously) but it would have been value for money paying the full price. It is in three segments just like in Ep6 when Vader reveals himself to Luke. The neck piece fits well even though I’m a 17.5in collar. It can be fiddly dropping the face piece onto this but after a few goes it fits easily with a satisfying ‘sucking’ noise on contact (and similar noise on disconnecting). The contact is done by fairly powerful magnets.
The helmet again drops into place easily after a few goes and is connected by magnets. There’s a handy little piece of black plastic in the box (don’t throw it away!) that keeps it upright on a shelf for display purposes.
It looks fantastic next to the Stormtrooper helmet in my man cave!
Amazing product looks amazing. It’s pretty uncomfortable especially around the jaw and it gets very hot fast. However it is a great price to wear and for display would highly recommend

Used to own an oversized Vader helmet many years ago and this is by far a much better version! Better quality build, built in voice changer, and looks great on a shelf next to my Stormtrooper Black series helmet too I bought mine when there was a price drop to 59 so even more of a bargain than normal
Superb helmet for the money… not 100% accurate but as I’m using it a a wall display model, it looks great up,on the wall
Absolutely love it. Saw the exact same thing in a shop that sells TV and film items, were charging 150 . Saw it on Amazon reduced from 94 to 65. Even without the reduction was still cheaper than buying the same thing in the shop. Well worth the money, great quality and a must for any star wars fan. Want to get the stormtrooper one next. .

Very accurate representation of the iconic helmet. Excellent sound effects including the standard machine breathing and the laboured damaged breathing from ROTJ. Includes a satisfying clunk and pressurised effect when the mask is fitted.

This is fantastic and for under 60 great value and great quality. Sounds great too makes different noises when in its respective stages. My only sticking point is I’ve a quiet a large head so it was a struggle to fit but I got there in the end, it’s also very warm to wear. However it’s a fantastic item and highly recommend it.

For 60 this is an absolute bargain! The detail is superb and the finish is top qaulity and not at all flimsy. The only downside for me is I have a massive head and it is a squeeze to get on. However thats not a fault of the product and I was only ever going to display it anyway. Worth every penny and more.

We looked at the other reviews on Amazon together with regards to the packaging, what it can and cannot do, all of which was confirmed via the YouTube videos we watched also. He was still very keen and we ordered it.
The item arrived in a large Amazon box, surrounded by packaging paper, with the main product box insider, we had seen a previous review which stated it arrived in the product box with a sticker stuck to it but that wasn’t out experience. In addition, the product box was wrapped up, very well I have to add, with bubble wrap, it appeared to be wrapped with the same consideration you would perhaps apply when wrapping a gift for a loved one.
My son unwrapped and opened it all carefully and the contents of the box were equally well packaged and secure. We removed two small paper-ties and removed some of the plastic bags which surrounded the main components of the helmet. Within a few minute my son had it assembled and on his head.
We saw some reviews which mentioned about the neck component being a bit snug, perhaps for an adult this may be more of an issue, for my son there seemed to be plenty of space (he has a 15″ neck). He didn’t seem to have any issues clipping the main neck component together, although the mid-section part of the helmet, which does fasten with magnets also has two small plastic dowels which need to align with corresponding holes, with assistance this is very easy, with a bit of practice it becomes second nature. The final part of the helmet simply sat on top and the magnets (clever idea) do there work.
The magnets seem strong enough and they didn’t separate with a bit of head wobbling. My son mentioned that there was a bit of “misting” on the inside as he was breathing, but he didn’t feel it was a significant problem.
The compartment for the batteries is cleverly positioned so as to not be visible when wearing the helmet and was easy to open (one small screw) and close. Batteries were not included (as stated) and it requires 2xAAA.
The sound effects were very good, the button is responsive and really brought this product to life for my son.
As sceptical as I was, being a parent, I do have to admit that this does look to be very well made, it has a high quality and high levels of detail. It is expensive, but, if you are a Star Wars fan, or if you are shopping for one, I don’t think anyone would be disappointed with this product.
I am unable to find anything negative really to state about this product. As a minor word of warning however, if you think you will need to ever place it back in the product box it comes in – pay close attention to how the individual cardboard packaging components are placed *BEFORE* you take it all out – we have still yet to work out how to get it all back in “as it was”, but this is fairly trivial and will be resolved with some patience/time.

his first and foremost a toy and a very good one at that. it is not and is not sold as a true film replica or prop.
for most people they see a vader helmet, if thats what you see and need want, then buy it you fool. however if you want a replica of ANH,ESB OR ROTJ darth helmet this is not for you.
i got this to cosplay with a rubies vader costume, and its great, a snug fit, lots of visability and good clearance on the neck
To say Hasbro have outdone themselves with this product would be doing them a major disservice. I think the only item that could possibly outdo this would be Lenovos movie accurate wearable helmet.
Looks amazing as a display piece, looks amazing as a cosplay accessory.
One small point, however. I have cosplayed as Vader on several occasions and gone through several different iterations of the mask. In comparison to most, this one is very snug. Not to the point of being uncomfortable and in fact the field of vision this gives you is much better than most. In fact, the close fit of the mask is probably more of an advantage as it stops it from moving around on your head. I just feel that the collar piece could’ve been a little looser or you could just leave the back piece of the collar off altogether. Perhaps Hasbro could come up with adjustable clips or some kind of extender.
In conclusion, this is an absolute must have for any Star Wars fan and Vader fans especially. It’s just a bit on the snug side when you’re 6’8″ and have an eighteen and a half inch neck.

For the price this can’t be beaten. The only downside is there is no voice changer but all other sounf effect are spot on. Detail is also spot on, you’d really think you had a more exxpensive prop.

Bargain and a great helmet for the price. A must for all fans
First off right out of the box this is a fantastic collectors piece. The helmet is huge and comes in three pieces. The neck plate complete with exquisite detail. A press of the activation button on the side plays an authentic laboured breathing Vader sound effect. Then the face plate which locks in place with magnets and is adjusted with elasticated head straps. This stage can be a little tricky to lock in place and again to separate when removing. Another press of the same activation button plays a familiar Vader sound. Then comes the hood section which locks In place with the aid of magnets. All in all a fantastic collectors piece with great attention to detail

I debated buying this for a while but so glad I did eventually. The other reviewers say it all. This really is a great helmet and display piece. You wont be disapointef with this. Except trying to keep it shiny.
Probably not for the purists (unless modded) but this is awesome for someone like me. The magnetic couplings work really well though putting the thing together when wearing it requires a certain knack to join the top and bottom. Comfortable and did not seem to mist up. For a massed produced item I was very happy with the quality and detail. Even Amazon decided to take a day off from their appalling delivery service !!!!
I am not a huge Star Wars geek, but this is a great bit of kit. I bought it for me to play DV at my little boys party and it didn’t disappoint. Good quality and looks amazing, expensive, but worth the extra in my view.

Would have been good with a voice changer rather than the breathing sound effect but all physical detail is excellent.
I brought this from Amazon warehouse, and it takes a few days to get it delivered from Barcelona for some reason, but the time it takes was quite fast anyway. The helmet itself is amazing! For a helmet under 100 is a great deal, the details were so astonishing that it even got the details on the inside of the helmet, a way better experience of wearing the helmet compared to the previous ones such as the Stormtrooper one. A must-buy for a Star Wars collector/fans because the helmet is simply amazing.
Comsidering the prices Hasbro charge for some of their Star Wars items it’s incredible that this helmet comes in at under 100. A near perfect replica of Vader’s helmet and good quality build. Makes a fantastic display piece.
For the price, this really is an awesome display piece. I really would like to see it side by side with one of the alternatives costing 3 or 4 times the price so I can see just what improvements there might be. To me, there is no need to pay more. The breathing sound effect is cool, but unnecessary really as I just have this on display in my home cinema. I purchased also from Amazon a Swan paper towel holder in black and chrome which I use as a stand. It ties in perfectly and looks like a really expensive accessory.

This mask is very impressive considering the price. I really love the 3-piece design which is very true to the original movie prop yet easy to put on and off with the help of magnets. Of course it’s not completely screen accurate, but it’s not too bad either. The mask also has some cool sound effects of Vader’s breath, both wounded and normal and some adding sounds when you put the mask together. I am actually pleasantly surprised with the mask because I thought it might have been a lot worse. My only gripe is that it easily gets warm inside it. That said: it is an unusually warm summer.

Amazing product at an amazing price – I’ve got a relatively big head and it just fits – sound effects are great – detail inside and out is stunning – can’t believe how good this looks for the price. It may not be screen accurate as others are saying but it looks pretty accurate to me – if you are a Star Wars fan then this is well worth getting.

I have always wanted a Darth Vader helmet, being the most iconic thing in the entire Star wars universe you would normally need to spend several hundred for anything remotely similar. this helmet is beautiful, its imposing in its blackness and imposing in its size, the small display stand supplied is perfect for putting it on display. what makes this different from prop models or other cosplay helmets is the level of detail inside and outside. if you are a fan of classic star wars then pick this up before it becomes rare and you end up paying over the odds.
Whilst there will be many arguments on the level of ‘screen accuracy’ there is no arguing that this is a fantastic representation of Vader’s helmet. The sound effects are a nice touch, especially how they change depending on if the helmet is all together or disassembled.
For the price you will struggle to find a better Darth Vader helmet!
At the sub 100 price point this is an absolute bargain, the helmet is detailed and the adjustable strap stops the “wobbling” you get with some helmets, the different sound effects based on which parts are connected are absolutely top notch and overall it looks superb.. this is probably the best black series helmet to date and is worth every penny…
So what can I say about this new Darth Vader helmet other than WOW! This really is the Darth Vader helmet we’ve been waiting for. Whilst it’s not entirely screen accurate, it’s as close as you’re gonna get for 100. What will strike you most about it is the shear size of the helmet – this thing is a monster! It comes supplied as three bits but breaks down still further should you wish to wear it – personally I bought mine just for display. The helmet is separate from the mask and Hasbro also supply a somewhat simplistic plastic mount that can be used to lift up the back of the helmet to tip it forward when put on display. It’s very, very basic but does the job, to be fair. Assembling the helmet for display is very straight forward. You literally put the helmet on top of the mask and it then sits in place thanks to some strategically placed magnets.
As others have stated, this thing is a fingerprint and dust magnet so be prepared to give it a wipe over on a fairly regular basis – just try to avoid touching the helmet as much as you can a those finger prints really do show! Like anything, it looks its best when left as a display piece therefore reducing the amount of contact you have to make with any of the surfaces. Mine has now taken pride of place in my home cinema. It’s a real talking about and has already attracted more than its fair share of admiring glances from visitors – just be prepared to stop them from picking it up!

This is absolutly amazing and a childhood dream come true… It is hot inside the mask, but other than that it is very comfortable, much more so than the Kylo Ren helmet (which I luv too, by the way).
It might be smaller scale, but I am a smaller person than David Prowse, so that works to my advantage.

I had seen the reviews of this product, but actually having it in hand it is even more amazing than I thought it would be. This is obviously not going to be a 100% “screen accurate” prop replica, you will pay 5 times the price for that, but it does a damned good job. I was lucky enough to se the Return Of The Jedi “reveal” helmet that this is based on at the London Star Wars Identities exhibition last summer, and I think this is very very close. The level of detail on this helmet is phenomenal, their is so much of it both inside and out. The sound effects are for me an added bonus, but once again Hasbro have done a great job of replicating what we hear in the movies and especially at this price point. Often the sound “features” on these helmets can be a bit of a gimmick, but here they enhance and add to the overall product.
If you are thinking of buying one of these, then stop thinking and just order it!
This latest addition to the Black Series Helmet line is the one that everyone has been waiting for. A Darth Vader helmet for under 100 that looks and feels fantastic. While a real die hard Star Wars fan will be able to see that this is not 100% screen accurate, it still makes a great display piece, particularly if you can show off all three parts. The attention to detail is very good and I challenge you to find a better ‘reveal’ Vader helmet at this price point.

Is it screen accurate? Of course not.. but for under 100 you won’t finde a better Darth Vader helmet.. I build myself a custom stand so that i can display all 3 pieces seperately..
