This single mattress is approx. 9 inches deep and combines Airstream Memory Fibre with a 13.5 gauge European engineered open coil spring unit. This is a great choice for your bed.
Also featuring a quilted jersey knit fabric for ultimate comfort and a plain grey border for style.
We use a revolutionary Airstream Memory Fibre which has the memory foam feel without the associated heat discomfort.
Single Mattress = 3ft x 6ft3 (90cm x 190cm) and 21cm deep approximately.
Our inhouse compression technology allows our single mattresses to be efficiently compressed, rolled and boxed. Your new mattress will take approximately 2 hours to expand fully once opened, however we do advise to leave longer if possible.

Softer than I expected, I read the reviews after buying the mattress and it scared me. I was also sceptical due to price. I had nothing to worry about. I left it 24 hours before using but it’s so comfortable and molds to me. Honestly a life saver. It helps relieve my hip pains and even makes me able to sleep on my bad side. However I just don’t sit on the ends as they go really thin when squashed then spring back up.

I have purchased three of these so far, and they’re brilliant! Very comfy and soft once allowed to expand, for an hour. I spent 130 on a single mattress from Argos, for my son and the springs were visable and were digging into him, less than 4 months after purchase. I was shocked at the quality of this mattress, considering the price.
I bought this bed back in January and have been using it for 7 months. I have had no issues whatsoever. The bed itself is very comfortable. It has springs and a layer of foam on the top. So if you’re looking for a bed where you sink into a cloud of foam, this bed isn’t for you. This bed is somewhat sturdy, not too ridged but still very soft. It’s a nice balance of soft, comfort and studiness. No more back problems or pain.
Delivery came way faster than expect. I recommended this to my brother who got the memory foam version without the springs.
Would Recommend to anyone.
I read all the reviews before I bought this and they were quite mixed. So I want to answer questions for people like me:
It arrived very quickly and took no time at all to take shape once opened.
It’s very bouncy but also really comfy.
I don’t quite know why it’s advertised as memory foam. It is not a memory foam mattress… It is a sprung mattress with a quilted top. Because of this you can’t turn it. But for the money, I would definitely buy again.
Just to give some reference, because this is what I wanted when reading the mixed reviews about comfort and sturdiness…
I am 9 stone wet through, I find it very comfy and sturdy. My housemate is much larger, he didn’t feel quite as secure near the edge, but still said it was comfy in the middle.

So overall this is a pretty good matress for your money. I am a smallish woman who bought a double for my bedroom and an happy with it, however if you were two people or slightly heavier I would not recommend it as it sinks a lot when you sit on it.
I’m sleeping really well on this matress and am super happy with how comfortable it is!

I was surprised by this mattress! I am a 6’7″ and just under 20 stone n when I opened this bed and let it spring out it felt a bit too soft. However, when you lay on it it spreads the weight very evenly and it is just the right level of softness for me. My previous mattress was a very expensive orthopedic mattress which made my feet sore when I would go to bed. With this mattress my feet kind of snuggle into the mattress and get better support, granted my previous mattress was a double and a bit too short for me but the difference is amazing! I look forward to going to bed now. Having read many of the mixed reviews I wasn’t sure about this mattress but am so glad I bought it now! Seriously good bang for your buck!
When this first arrived it was rolled flat, and I thought I’d been sent the wrong mattress! However on the advice of the seller I opened it and straight away it popped up perfectly. This is for my daughter and her fiance, and is very comfortable, they love it. I will be buying another for our spare room. I’m not sure why there are bad reviews on here, maybe people received a faulty one? But ours is great. It’s good quality for the money, and the seller offered a refund if I wasn’t happy. As a cheaper mattress I’m not sure how long it will last, but so far no complaints here!
Came in rather a small box but once out of the box surprised at how comfortable it was .good value for money.
Happy with my purchase, I have not slept on it though as it is on a spare bed which will be used infrequently.

Great mattress, even buying another two for myself and my daughter. Couldn’t fault the service either.
The mattress isn’t quite as firm as I would have liked. However, I do not have the same pressure aches in my joints in the morning and it is better than the one I had. I have bought it as a temporary measure and it is worth the money as my sleep has improved.

Quality mattress for the price. Did have a chemical smell when first arrived, but we stood it outdoors for a couple of days (during the daytime) which helped lessened the smell, so was barely noticable.

Memory foam layer thickness very questionable as can’t feel any if I’m honest!
Sides are very week as will squash very easy when near the edge, bit not so you will fall out of bed.
Gone from waking up with a bad back to not having back ache at all so it’s can’t be too shabby.
For the price it’s better than a budget mattress from dreams fromy experience.

I bought this for my teenage daughter. I was at first dubious as it came packed in a box but upon opening it sprang into shape. It’s a lovely thick mattress and my daughter and I couldn’t help diving on it – it’s so comfortable and she is so happy with it. I am very happy to recommend and delivery was prompt.
We bought when on offer. Mattress was for my son, was amazed at the quality for the price. Nice deep size Fairly firm, was sceptical because I purchased a terrible mattress from Wowcher Only last year (different company) which I’m needing to replace already, so hoping will be on offer again soon..would recommend as kids beds or guest/student, I have a spinal injury so no good for myself so can’t comment any more..
Ordered for my son and he really likes it, very comfortable.
So I had a bit of trouble with the delivery of this product, it took several weeks after the original due date for the mattress to arrive. However, I put this down to the current situation with C-19 and the courier (Hermes) managing to lose the mattress in transit the first time around and seemed to struggle with it during the second attempt, however it did eventually arrive.
The delivery is the only reason I gave this mattress 4 stars – customer service was excellent and attentive with trying to gather delivery information from Hermes, I couldn’t fault Starlight Beds in the slightest. The mattress is incredible for the price, I always thought mattresses (especially memory foam) were supposed to be at least 200, but this price seemed like a steal!
The mattress is comfier than many other memory foams I’ve tried (which were also far more expensive), I just can’t believe the price. Overall I’d say if you’re in the market for a memory foam mattress of high quality, look no further otherwise you’ll likely miss out. Couldn’t recommend enough!
I was a little worried when it arrived and the box was all torn but it was fine. It is a little softer than I expected and the memory foam is thin. I put my own memory foam mattress topper on. OMG slept like a log. I got a king size and for the price it’s great value. Good quality, fits my bed perfectly and gives a bit more height. Would definitely recommend.

Great mattress for the price. I ordered with mixed expectations due to the variable reviews however i am pleasantly surprised. Arrived earlier than expected which was good. Ordered it as a replacement for our old mattress which was causing myself and my husband back ache and so far we have both woke up every morning ache free since buying this mattress. Unsure of how long the mattress will last compared to others on the market however for the price if we get 12months use out of it then its still good value for money
This matress is good value for money. It is memory foam so you are guaranteed comfort. It arrives rolled up, leave it for 24 hours to expand and then it is sweet dreams. It replaced a free matress I got with the bed. I know why it was free.

Amazing….I bought 2 for my girls. Arrived a few days after ordering witch was amazing as I didnt expect it until 22nd April. Arrived vacuum packed in boxes. But got to size pretty much as soon as packaging was taken off. I am very very impressed. Extremely soft top layer and surprising thick. Fits both my girls bed to a tee and are very comfortable.even my other 2 are now wanting one each. For the money it is an extremely good mattress and worth every single penny. I would deff to anyone who is looking for a new mattress.

After having to ring up to say i hadnt received it when id got a message to say it was delivered, it finally lt arrived two days after it said it had been delivered. Then the next day another turned up which i sent back with the driver. All sorted. The mattress is very comfortable.

Ok so I don’t normally write reviews but considering this product had mixed reviews I thought I should.
It’s amazing, I’m actually going to buy a few more to replace other mattresses.
When I first opened it I did feel a little disappointed as it was in a box, wrapped tightly and looked super thin. When we opened it it pinged out and slowly got thicker, my son is so chuffed, Definitely worth buying and highly recommend!

Great alternative to the horrible and uncomfortable sprung mattresses which you normally find around this price range.

So decided to buy new one. Checked out all the reviews and this one stuck out. We have a memory foam mattress and love it so had to do the same for my daughter. She loves it. I don’t think she’s moved since sleeping in it. ( 2 days she’s had it) .
This is not a negative, but all I say is it’s deep. And her bed is a cabin bed so quite high anyway. I had to step onto a step to sit on it to read her a story.
All in all I would highly recommend this mattress.

The mattress arrived vacuum packed and rolled in a cardboard box which was easy to carry upstairs, once unpacked the mattress immediately sprang into shape and the thinner memory foam layer started to expand.
It has a good finish and looks well made, once placed on my sons bed it was a fair bit thicker than his previous mattress but fit perfectly into a standard single bed.
I would say that it is a medium firm mattress and feels very comfortable, he has not had one complaint about it.
