Once you eventually learn how the game works, it’s grand. The models are nice to look at, board is wonderfully built, and the variation to gameplay is almost endless. Only issue I have with it is the set up time and learning process. Each set up will take around 15/20 minutes even if you’ve already preshuffled the decks, and game time lasts between 2/4 hours, least it did with my mate / partner.
Overall though if you have that time spare, fantastic game!
Ich wrde das Darksouls Brettspiels Brettspiel gerne besser bewerten, aber es gibt einfach bestimmte Probleme, welche dieses eigentlich sehr schne Brettspiel hat, ber die ich bei einer Objektiven Bewertung nicht hinwegsehen kann.
Es handelt sich bei dem Brettspiel um einen Dungeon Crawler. Ein Spiel in welchem eine Gruppe von Helden (Spieler) versuchen Kooperativ den Boss eines Verlieses zu bezwingen. Das Spiel bietet dabei 4 kleine und 2 groe Bosse und auch eine ausreichende Menge kleiner Gegner. Die Spielzeit ist auf der Box mit 90-120 Minuten angegeben fr eine komplette Runde. Realistisch rechnet mit dem doppelten. Das Spiel ist ein Abendfller. Das Spiel ist schwer (von der Schwierigkeit her), und es macht richtig Spa! Aber!
(Minus 0,5 Stern) Nur mit 3, am besten mit 4 Spieler. Je weniger Spieler, desto lnger zieht sich das Spiel, und das nicht auf die Spaige weise. Der Grind” nimmt mit weniger Spielern dramatisch zu.
(Minus 0,5 Stern) Wenn ihr das Spiel das erste Mal spielt, rechnet eher mit 4-5 Stunden Spielzeit. Das Regelbuch ist leider nicht bersichtlich, und manchmal auch in den Formulierungen absolut missverstndlich. Das kann im schlimmsten Fall den ersten Abend wirklich verhageln. Ich kann nur nahelegen, dass sich vor dem Spieleabend ein Teilnehmer mit einem YouTube Guide hinsetzt und das Spiel “lernt”. (Dabei ist es gar nicht so kompelx)
Aber ich will es auch nicht zu schlecht reden. Es kann absolut viel Spa machen. Es vermittelt gut das Gefhl, einen Boss bezwungen zu haben, die Miniaturen sind wirklich schn. Wenn man die Regeln einmal verstanden hat, spielt es sich auch schn flssig. Mit 3 Freunden ein schnes Spiel. Ich werde mir vielleicht auch noch die ein oder andere Erweiterung holen.
Ovviamente sono un gran fan della trilogia Dark Souls e avere in mio possesso le bellissime miniature di questo gioco magnifico, anche il gameplay davvero accattivante e coinvolgente, ho fatto due partite a due giocatori ed stato molto molto bello e interessante, soprattutto per quello che concerne l’aspetto strategico delle partite.
Per, per il costo del prodotto, mi sarei aspettato molta pi cura, ad esempio molti giochi forniscono dei componenti aggiuntivi (e non mi sto rivolgendo assolutamente alle miniature, sia chiaro) in modo che, qualora vi fosse un problema o si danneggiasse un piccolo componente, l’utente abbia un rimpiazzo pronto.
Beh, nel mio caso la confezione arrivata con due delle “viti” che servirebbero per montare i vari dischetti (vita dei boss e fal) dello stesso tipo, quindi non “maschio-femmina” ma “maschio-maschio”, e per questo motivo non ho potuto montare il dischetto della vita di Ornstein.
Sinceramente non ho voluto mandare indietro la confezione per il semplice fatto che mi mancava una componente cos piccola come quella semi-vite dei dischi, anche perch ho da sempre un grande hype per questo gioco e non avevo voglia di aspettare il tempo necessario per una sostituzione del prodotto.
Altro problema rilevato che la confezione va benissimo quando appena comprata, ma una volta aperta la fine, non hai pi modo di rimettere tutto a posto, la scatola non prevede di avere un posto per token e carte, inoltre le miniature non stanno ben ferme al loro posto e i boss sono incastrati in maniera incredibile, insomma mi son comprato un supporto esterno in schiuma per poter chiudere con cura il prodotto, ma non ha minimamente senso il fatto che io debba investire ulteriori soldi per salvaguardare il pi possibile l’integrit del contenuto della scatola.
Possiedo una copia di Cthulhu Death May Die e l il gioco strutturato per avere un posto dove mettere ogni singolo componente, non ho mai avuto problemi a rimettere apposto niente e soprattutto le miniature sono al sicuro, n si muovono n si scontrano tra di loro. Insomma, la quinta stella, anche se molto a malincuore, non se la merita proprio.
Conclusioni
Pro:
– Miniature fantastiche
– Un sogno per i fan della saga
– Gameplay molto interessante
Contro:
– Miniature non hanno una cover sicura ma si muovono e spostano
– Miniature dei Boss incastrate inverosimilmente in poco spazio scontrandosi tra loro
– Non vi sono componenti sostitutive, se si ha un problema o si manda indietro tutto o lo si tiene
What a fantastic boads game. The miniatures are detailed, game tiles are huge and the rules are actually decently written. If you’re not used to tabletop games, there are YT videos that can better summarize how to play.
A lot of negative reviews seem to complain that this board game is “grindy”, but its obvious they haven’t played the video game.
There are some great house rules you can implement too. I don’t use the “if one dies you all respawn” rule as well as separating the upgrade deck into they’re corresponding types.
The game is great, it’s hard, it’s grindy, but it’s fun. Just like the video game.
Easy enough to learn, really cool miniatures, captures the essence of playing dark souls in a board game, but beware as the first time playing you’re expecting 6+ hr since you have to look at the rules a lot before getting the hang of it but once you got it it’s way faster. Also tons of tutorials in youtube

Mon conjoint est un trs grand fan de Dark Souls et A-D-O-R-E ce jeu! Trs belles pices travailles et normment de contenu. Le jeu est assez facile apprendre, seulement il y a beaucoup de contenu absorber avant de pouvoir jouer sans le livre d’instruction. En tant que non gameuse, j’ai aussi aime y jouer. Rservez-vous quelques heures parce que c’est un jeu assez long et stimulant. Beau cadeau de Nol offrir, j’en suis trs satisfaite.
Soy fan de los juegos y me alegra mucho jugarlo sin embargo tienes sus pros y contras.

. An que es irnico tiene poca o nula historia, si no eres fan de los juegos prcticamente entras en seco y no se te explica nada (como el videojuego) sin embargo en este tipo de juegos la narracin juega un papel importante
. Falta pulimiento en varias mecnicas, se nota que pusieron todo su empeo en el sistema de combate deja do los dems aspectos algo flojos
. Es algo difcil de aprender, para algunos y en ocasiones confuso
. Es repetitivo y te invita al farmeo, algo que en el vdeojuego est bien, pero no lo veo muy factible en un juego de mesa
CONCLUSIN:
Si eres fan ni lo dudes sobre todo si est en barata, tambin si eres fan del modelismo y miniaturas, tiene una calidad excelente, el juego es bueno pero todos esos defectos puede que te hechen para atrs, sin embargo para algo inventaron las reglas de la casa, si les llama la atencin y quieren un juego ms inmersivo o propio para este sistema de juego viciten fotos o pginas e inclusive videos para ver reglas de la casa lo cual recomiendo mucho.
The plastic wrap was broken on a whole side.. boxe is a bit damage on a corner. I had to use paper glue to put it back. But i wont return it for that… the game is amazing but can be a bit repetitive without expension… like evry other board game.. but i love it and will probably get more expension.
Achet pour du solo, Steamforged Games a vraiment respect le jeu vido et son univers.
Systme bien ficel de comportements des ennemis permettant aussi bien le jeu solo qu’en coopratif.
Le principe de Rogue Lite a lui aussi t respect, o notre personnage va devoir mourir pour pouvoir remporter le combat final ( savoir progresser, mourir et conserver ses “gains” et recommencer pour amliorer son personnage suffisamment pour dzinguer le big boss de la campagne. Ce principe peut rebuter certains joueurs car cela demande plus de temps de jeu et surtout une rptition des combats dans les diffrentes salles traverses, mais cela a le mrite d’tre un des points phare du jeu vido ponyme.
En bref, Dark Souls donne un vrai challenge au(x) joueur(s) et la qualit du matriel donne vraiment envie d’y retourner (note : les figurines plastiques mritent d’tre peintes, rien qu’une sous-couche basique leur rend nettement plus honneur).
Une trs bonne surprise en ce qui me concerne.

The miniature are wow!! Minus one star cause one of the miniature (gargoyle) came broken and one of the tile was scratch. Nothing too serious, was able to easily repair the gargoyle with super glue

The miniatures that come with it are amazing. They look beautiful and the game has a serious Dark Souls vibe. There is a lot of cool expansions out there and you will be able to spend a lot of time with this game.
However, I do believe that this is only for serious Dark Souls Fans, since this Game has the potential to seriously freak you out!
Only problem: the packaging is truly horrible and some of the miniatures arrived already damaged. (The Dancer’s arm was missing completely). Plus it’s an endless sea of plastic. That’s just not cool. This is a Problem I see with a lot of Steamforge Games (e.G. Scythe) and they do not supply spares. Therefor I’m stuck with half a Dancer now.
So yeah, the game itself is very fun, especially with a party. The dark wood expansion, one of the few I was able to get my hands on, should be your first expansion as it adds much more to the game (enemies, gear, bosses, ect). Its fantastic and it really makes you feel like you are playing in the darksouls universe and the minis… my god are the minis beautifully detailed. This is why it gets 4* from me.
The company Steamforged on the other hand doesnt even get a 1…
So, if you are looking for a great core game to play with friends and family who enjoy a dread filled fantasy and dont care too much about expansions then this is for you!
Also, you should check out a board game called Decent, it’s also brilliant.
The board-game is kind of a dungeon crawler, where players fight their way through the “dungeons” all the way to the boss. When the boss is defeated, a higher level of “dungeons” is presented and you repeat the process. Honestly the base game rules are a bit dull, because it requires you to fight the same dungeons over and over again. For someone who is new to the game this is tedious and boring.
Well the solution is of course home-brewing it, randomize each encounter so the players never fight in the same “dungeon”, throw a dice at the end of the dungeon to receive a reward (just like in the video-game you’d get random drops), skip encounters and do a boss rush, add 2 mini bosses in 1 room to create a unique main boss…
Usually the campaign takes from 4-10 hours, but with the expansions you can pump that number up to 20 hours. It also depends on how strict you are with rules and how you enforce them.

Son muchas piezas y todas son de una calidad para aplaudir ( las cartas, el cartn y las piezas de plstico son una chulada).
Juego : es un juego complejo que requiere unas horas para entenderlo.
Viene en ingls, y creo que con un nivel B1 la arman. Si no entienden nada pueden buscar tutoriales en Youtube (en espaol)
Y bueno, nada que no se resuelva con el traductor.
Su jugabilidad puede llegar a ser repetitiva,trataron de implementar el mismo sistema del videojuego al juego de mesa ( morir como idiota y repetir una y otra vez los mismos escenarios, matando a los mismos enemigos para obtener ms almas), aqui no funciona eso, pues no estas interactuando con una inteligencia artificial.
S, se puede volver tedioso y aburrido, PERO, en Internet hay unas reglas caseras que ( tengo entendido) el juego termin acomodando en sus reglas originales.
Nada como buscarlas y usarlas.
Adems puedes modificar una que otra regla para hacerlo ms dinmico, vaya, que esto no es una excusa para no comprarlo.
Conclusin : Si bien puede marear un poco la cantidad de detalles complejos que trae el juego, una vez que te familiariza con l, se vuelve increble debido a esa cantidad de detalles que tiene.
Comprenlo, vale la pena.

Al final es un muy buen juego que tiene expansiones entonces hace que sea aun mas divertido, si te gusta pintar adelante tiene muchos detalles y no estan chicas las figuras pero me hubiera gustado que tuvieran bolsas o un modo de guardar las tarjetas aparte ya que el recipiente de plastico que viene no ayuda a que no se muevan. (Tengan cuidado con la caja que viene en 2 usos se me rompio de una esquina y tuve que pegarle por dentro silcon para que no se hiciera mas feo)

Amantes de los dungeons crawlers y Dark Souls. Mi mejor juego de mesa hasta ahora.
Lo nico que no me gust del material del juego en s, es que las figuras pequeas tienen armas que se pueden doblar con facilidad, y los tokens son un poco frgiles (son piezas de cartn) y se pueden deteriorar con el tiempo.
Si como yo eres un amante de la saga dark souls, este juego te va a encantar. Las mecnicas en s evocan un poco al juego original pero tienen un gran componente de mazmorreo, es entretenido de jugar incluso para 1 sla persona, en mi caso el principal inters residia en las miniaturas, ya que tena intencin de pintarlas,tienen una calidad bastante buena, aunque hay que trabajarlas pues traen bastante marcas de molde.
Took a while to read the rules at first but a really good game and collectors piece. The figurines are great and give you the option to paint or leave as they are. I would recommend to any dark souls fan.
Oltre al gioco (in versione inglese), mi stato spedito anche il manuale in italiano e un mazzo di carte contenente quelle pi usate, sempre in italiano. Grandi! Metto 5 stelle, non potendone mettere 6. Per il prodotto in s, non c’ nulla da dire, se non ottimo! Costa tanto, ma li vale tutti quei soldi.
Das Hauptspiel besitzt einen hohen Wiederholungsfaktor aufgrund der vielen Mini- und Hauptbosse. Durch die Erweiterungen kommen noch strkere Bosse als wie im Hauptspiel hinzu, welche nach dem bezwingen der anderen 2 Bosse (1 Mini-Boss und 1 Haupt-Boss) bezwungen werden knnen. Im schnitt werden 30-45 Euro auf Internetseiten fr die Erweiterungen verlangt, jedoch lohnen sich diese nur, wenn man das Spiel erst des fteren gespielt hat und wei ob sich die Investition lohnt. Fr mich ein klares Ja
Aber aufgepasst: Das Spiel ist schwer. Manchmal etwas zu schwer, aber das ist man ja von den PC-Spielen gewohnt. Und das Regelwerk ist eventuell etwas unbersichtlich, wenn man komplett neu in das Spiel hineinsteigt. Aber dazu gibt es viele Videos auf YouTube, welche das Regelwerk Schritt fr Schritt erklren.
Die Karten haben das normale Kartenma wie zum Beispiel Yu-Gi-Oh. So knnen Kartenhllen fr diese Gre bestellt werden.
Fr Miniaturfans sind die Figuren gut designed und leicht bemalbar. Der Preis ist hier auf Amazon jedoch teilweise viel zu hoch angesetzt. Man findet die Produkte auf anderen Internetseiten um einiges gnstiger.

Il gioco bello , ma complesso, solo per i veri fans. Non mi piaciuto il fatto che i personaggi contenuti nel gioco siano in plastica e anche molto leggera. Considerato il prezzo mi aspettavo statuine da collezione, in piombo. Istruzioni in inglese. Ho cercato e trovato tutorial su internet.
The quality of the boards, tokens, models and cards is supberb. The game is great fun either alone or with friends, however the game time shown is greatly understated, games sometimes go for 6 hours. I would recommend getting some house rules in place especially when it comes to aquiring souls as it can be pretty brutal.
It’s a large investment but a lot of fun and I definitely feel the price point is worth it.

Arrivato in un giorno, prima ancora del tempo previsto per la consegna. Purtroppo il pacco non stato assicurato bene, la confezione del gioco infatti arrivata con un piccolo strappo sull’esterno. Per fortuna a chi arrivato il regalo non interessa eccessivamente quindi nessun problema.
Il gioco di per s bellissimo. Complicato e difficile (come il videogioco, si pu capire) per bello. Consigliato agli appassionati del titolo
The rules took some time to process but in the end we didn’t find them overly difficult! My advice is to just jump into the game AS you’re reading the rules. That worked well for us.
We ran into one small snag. Our box contained two copies of monsters and no heroes! But as soon as I realized the problem I contacted Steamforged and within hours they had responded and were dispatching the missing minis. I must say I am very impressed with their customer service AND their game. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another Steamforged game!
Captures the feeling of the games well with a deceptively simple combat system that favours strategy, patience and memorising enemy attacks.
Volevo prenderlo in italiano ma non era mai disponibile, ho ripiegato su questo, in inglese.
Purtroppo per me il pacco ha avuto un viaggio difficile, visto che arrivato con un angolo dello scatolo imploso verso l’interno, si piegata una confezione di cartone ed una miniatura arrivata danneggiata, col manico del martello di smough a spasso nella confezione.
Dunque, la prima volta che mi trovo davanti miniature di giochi da tavolo, non ho paragoni con altre, ma quelle di questo gioco hanno dei dettagli molto ricchi e visibili, anche il resto dei contenuti di ottima fattura (dadi, carte e plance di gioco), giustificando il prezzo abbastanza elevato.
Come scritto da molti un po’ ovunque sul web, il manuale un casino, contiene tutto, ma un po’ confuso, in una pagina ho trovato reindirizzamenti a 3 pagine diverse in 4 righe per spiegare un solo concetto del gioco.
Passando al gioco in s, lo si pu comprendere senza particolari difficolt giocando, e si percepisce il fatto che sia molto simile alla controparte videoludica, basta un errore per finire nei guai. Una singola sessione, composta da miniboss e boss lunga non meno di un paio d’ore pur avendo fortuna nel cammino, mentre le due campagne base scritte nel manuale possono durare anche 4-5 ore; ho trovato sul web delle house rule che secondo me hanno senso esser utilizzate per eliminare la parte del grinding nel caso non si peschino equipaggiamenti sufficienti per proseguire il cammino, e di conseguenza ridurre un po’ il tempo di una partita. Ho giocato con i 4 personaggi circa una dozzina di partite, tra cui le due campagne, e pur giocando da solo mi sono divertito; tra vari impegni mi riesce difficile organizzare una partita con degli amici, dovendo far coincidere il tempo libero, ho avuto modo di fare solo un miniboss con un amico, stato pi difficile che da solo, poich cambiano notevolmente le strategie da attuare per restare in partita.
Un paio di piccoli difetti: la mancanza della meccanica del vacillamento, o stagger in inglese, di cui ci sono i segnalini, ma nessun equipaggiamento n un nemico lo provoca nel gioco base, bisogna aspettare almeno l’espansione darkroot che dovrebbe uscire all’inizio d’agosto.
La limitata disponibilit di miracoli, 6 di cui solo 3 nel mazzo tesoro comune, stregonerie, 3 e 2 sole piromanzie; penso che 4 ciascuno nel tesoro comune poteva rendere pi varia la situazione.
Al momento non lo giocher ancora da solo, poich dopo la dozzina di partite fatte ho provato pi o meno tutto. Aspetto di riuscire ad organizzare con amici, e soprattutto aspetto le espansioni che aggiungono variet, alcune dovrebbero iniziare ad essere disponibili da agosto in poi. A tal riguardo, chi pu utilizzare una stampante 3D, pu andare sul sito della steamforged e scaricare il pdf con i modelli gratuiti di alcune parti di espansione, come un nuovo personaggio giocante, un nuovo miniboss ed un nuovo boss.
P.S.: quando si tolgono le miniature dal loro alloggiamento, consiglio di non prenderle solo dalla base, sono delicate e purtroppo alcune delle mie si sono leggermente piegate, inoltre le miniature stesse possono essere riposte senza incastrarle, tanto il pacchetto si richiude.
Gioco molto ben fatto, miniature dettagliatissime seconde solo alla marca GW. Regolamento un po’ confusionario ma molto comprensibile. Meccaniche di gioco intuitive e si presta benissimo alle house-rules, che se ben pensate trasformano il gioco in una perla rara… non che non lo sia gia di per se. Consigliattissimo a tutti i fan della serie di videogames ma anche agli appassionati di dungeon crawler e giochi di strategia.
Sono inoltre in uscita molteplici espansioni, tra le quali “Darkroot Expansion” con i boss “Sif Great Grey Wolf” e “Artorias the Abysswalker”, “Gaping Dragon Megaboss”, “Black Dragon Kalameet Megaboss”, “Asylum Demon Megaboss” e “Vordt of the Boreal Valley Megaboss”.
Contro :Vi consiglio solo di armarvi di pazienza e tante, tante borsette in plastica per rimettere tutto dentro la scatola una volta finito di giocare.

Nonostante il costo che pu risultare eccessivo ai pi, devo ammettere che questo prodotto veramente valido, agli occhi di un fan della saga videoludica di Dark Souls. Pi che per il gioco in s, che comunque propone un approccio ai giochi da tavolo quantomeno differente dal solito (basti pensare agli incontri con i Boss, nei quali bisogna memorizzare un pattern di attacchi per sapere dove andare a posizionarsi di volta in volta), vorrei mettere in evidenza la cura per i dettagli sia sulla confezione, che sui modellini dei personaggi e nemici derivanti dal videogioco. Molto particolareggiati, sono tanti e anche relativamente grandi.
In totale, nonostante qualche meccanica risulti un po’ macchinosa e il manuale non sia certo la chiarezza incarnata, mi sono ritrovato a giocarci bene, sia da solo (un gioco da tavolo da 1 a 4 giocatori), che con un paio di amici.
Lo consiglierei, come sottinteso prima, a chiunque voglia godersi Dark Souls anche al di fuori del mondo virtuale, comprendendo anche i collezionisti di modellini, che potranno divertirsi a colorare e personalizzare dei personaggi dal design interessante e accattivante (tranne Smough).
Per concludere, la spedizione si conclusa nei tempi previsti e la confezione ed il suo contenuto sono arrivati perfettamente intatti.

I nemici semplici seguono dei pattern predefiniti, i boss hanno un mazzo di carte da mescolare che crea il loro pattern di combattimento.
Pedine mozzafiato, tutto fatto con materiali che danno idea di durare nel tempo.
Molte carte, pedine e segnalini, praticamente impossibile da giocare in uno spazio inferiore a 1,5m quadri.
PERMETTE DI GIOCARE IN SINGLE PLAYER.
La confezione fa la sua figura, tutto ben rifinito.
Nelle foto allegate si possono vedere le 4 schede dei personaggi e le carte equipaggiamento.
Unico “problema” riscontrato:
Il corriere non ha trovato nessuno a casa e ha ben pensato di mollare il pacco sul cancello alla portata di chiunque, capite bene che con un oggetto dal valore di oltre 100 non che sia una cosa molto piacevole, per fortuna non successo nulla.
