Installation wasn’t too difficult. Just make sure to drill into studs. It’s been working great for my three bikes over the past 6 months. It can sometimes be tricky removing a bike if it’s not on an open end, but that’s to be expected in a small apartment. The shelf storage is a nice add on but I recommend putting stuff up there that doesn’t require frequent access since it’s not easy to reach when loaded with bikes.
This is the best space saver item we purchased for our garage. The bikes were constantly falling over like dominoes or the kids could care less about using the kickstand. It makes my garage look clean and neat, and I could even use the blower to clean the garage without having to move any type of bikes or equipment.
I’m so glad I got this, but I probably could’ve used it without the shelf. That shelf was more of a nuisance to install than the whole entire thing. My studs were the maximum distance away, and it wasn’t fitting the maximum distance of the holes in the metal on the shelf. They need to make those holes on top wider. It is extremely high to store on the top shelf, but if you have something to pull on like the straps it’s not too bad, as long as you’re tall enough! Otherwise you should use a stool to get anything down.
Five bikes fit perfectly if you alternate them on the evenly spaced hooks, which is not very hard to do when you set them up to the max width of the bar. It’s not that easy for a little kids to take the bikes down, but it’s perfect to check the tires and pump them up before going on a ride while it’s up on the rack! My picture show three kid bikes with it, but adult bikes will be just perfectly fine too. It will be wonderful when my kids grow up so we’ll see how sturdy it is in a few years!
It is such an amazing space saver, and I could even pull in a vehicle still with these bikes on the side of it in my garage. Just measure the height of your tallest bike and that should tell you how far away from the wall it will be when it’s mounted, to determine how much space you’ll have for a car moving in.
Only thing I wish I did was buy it sooner! If you’re looking at the reviews to see if you should, do it. You won’t regret it.

The only downside was that the screws that attach the shelf pieces to the bracket were painted (or the thread holes were?), so it took quite a lot of force (more than I could exert with a screwdriver- I resorted to pliers) to turn the screws enough to insert them. Once they “broke through”, everything went smoothly.

The shelves are a great addition and allows us to store helmets, tire pumps, repair kits, etc. Overall a great product which allows versatility on how you want to store your bikes!

It’s a stretch to put 5 bikes on here. 4 is no problem. 5 if one or 2 of them are childrens bikes. Over all great compact way to store your bikes on the wall. The added shelf is nice for some helmets and such. Possible to mount 2 side by side and have a continuous shelf and room for 8+ bikes if you need it.
Nice bike rack which helped me cleared up some garage space. Fitting 5 bikes is possible but it will be very tight. I put full size 4 bikes. The way to put bikes on this rack (or any other similar type racks) is to alternatively keep bikes facing opposite to each other. Meaning, put one bike front wheel up followed by next bike’s rear wheel up. That will help with more bikes. Installation page supplied with the box was no good but I followed video here (on product description page) which was really good and easy to follow. Overall it’s a very decent bike rack.
I have a few bikes and figuring out how to store them is always a challenge. This rack and shelf combo was really helpful for the design of my new garage! I had to mount it a little higher than I would have liked to accommodate my really long mountain bike, but I’ll just store things I don’t need very often on the shelf since I need a step stool to access it.
I had some parts missing from the shipment, but an email to StoreYourBoard explaining the situation led to them shipping me the replacements parts in a few days. Excellent customer service!
I didn’t have any issues with installation, and found the instructions and videos to be useful in planning where to place it. My studs were around 16″ apart, and I used the provided bolts without issue. I did need an impact drill to get the bolts into the studs. I had a helper, but believe this would be an easy one-person install especially if you have the right tools.
Remember that the height of your tallest bike from the ground to the top of your handlebars is the minimum clearance you’ll need to walk around the bikes when they are mounted. My tallest bike is 40 inches, so the bikes require almost 4 feet of distance from the wall to walk in front of the bikes. If you have the space, it’s no big deal!

Excellent bike rack overall. Very easy to install (once I found the studs through a plaster wall). Four bikes is really tight and five would be absurd in this thing as an FYI. Super sturdy and well designed. Installed by myself in about 25 minutes in the garage in front cars.
Easy to assemble, very sturdy and versatile. We were able to hang 3 mountain bikes and 3 sets of skis (ordered the extra ski attachments). The shelf holds our helmets. Really helps organize our sporting gear. Good quality product, but was a little tricky figuring out how to hang it. We could only attach to one stud in the garage and had to use wall anchors for other side. Would recommend.

The box it comes in leads you to believe it is for snowboards. However once you unpack the contents you realize it’s not, it’s for bikes which we wanted. A bit misleading.

I had a small issue with one of the hooks and I contacted the company to get a replacement and they were very easy to talk to. I highly recommend this company. If I had seen their products earlier I might have a different storage system in my garage for my tools

Purchased the bike rack + shelf wall mount to go along with garden tool organizers from the same manufacturer to clean up my garage a little bit before winter. Easy to assemble with good directions. Great look assembled and installed on the wall. Feels pretty sturdy. Looks nice with the other wall mounts installed near by.
My only complaints would be I wish it was American made, difficult to pull the mounting bar through the holes in the support arms, and the plastic covers on the tire hooks tore/cracked immediately after placing bikes on the rack. I plan to remove the stock plastic covers and wrap with cloth tape.

Always the most important part is that I get what I expected. I have 4 bikes now hanging on the wall and cleared the space I needed for a generator. Worked out great!

This has been such a great space saver for my garage! I have two adult mountain bikes and a child’s bike on it with room to spare. The assembly instructions aren’t great, but when you see how it’s supposed to look when it’s assembled, it’s pretty easy to figure out. I would highly recommend this item.
Installed in garage CMU wall instead of studs and worked beautifully. Didn’t use the screws provided and bought ones just for masonry. Had been skeptical about fitting 5 bicycles but they all fit when inverted every other one.

This bike rack is definitely worth the purchase. Sturdy as can be. Assembly is very easy, but definitely make sure you measure before drilling holes, especially for the height of your bike. It was easy to put up evenly on the studs and make level. Once it was bolted in, felt extremely solid. Bikes look great on it and I was able to clear up some space in the garage! I went out and get a clear painter plastic sheet and cut to attach to the wall. Trust me, you’ll want to do this because otherwise you will have tired marks in the wall. You may be able to see the sheet in my photo.
Bottom line, I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend for anybody. Worth the price tag, easy assembly, sturdy design, looks great. One recommendation I would make to the seller is to maybe add a variety of colors to the metal. And perhaps a wider selection of hooks.
This bike rack is easy to install, sturdy. I had an issue with one of the lag screws being faulty from the factory and the company promptly resolved my issue.
Easy and quick to install – only drawback is that we had to alternate the bikes (front tire up, then front tire down) to fit the bikes so the handle bars don’t hit. Great space saver, which is what we needed over our old rack that took up too much garage space.

It’s a very sturdy bicycle rack, and perfect to organise your garage. The only downside (Not a big deal if you have a hammer), is that the hook holes where the pin has to pass through are not perfectly aligned, and you might find it a bit difficult to assemble it.
Holds the bike firmly in place, my walls aren’t the best (Taylor Wimpey are the worst) so I used some 24mm MDF backboard to enable me to drill multiple holes and spread the load as the first time I tried it the top two just pulled out, this i stress was due to the wall quality not the fixtures or fittings… other than that hiccup it’s still up and holding the bikes out the way.
This rack lived up to the reviews. Very sturdy and was able to fit 5 bikes. You do have to alternate handle bars to make them all fit, but that is not a big deal. Install was easy with decent graphics on the instructions to help guide you along. I would recommend and buy again!
I didn’t want to spend an enormous amount of money but the rack is worth every dollar spent. It was so compact in the box and I questioned the ability to hang 3 adult size bikes and a child’s bike. But after I opened it and found the studs(which I need to say was the hardest part), the installation was easy, drill and level was all I needed. I would recommend this bike rack for those in need of proper storage in a home. I like the extra shelf to store the helmets too. Overall a great buy.

This product was received on time. It was very easy to assemble. Not one problem except my own fault. I put the bar with the holes facing me. It was in a corner so I had to take one bracket down to turn the bar. Very sturdy product would buy again in a heart beat.
Absolutely love this bike rack! Huge space saver in my garage and the shelf is a plus!! Can store out bike helmets, bike pump and bike locks in the same space as the bikes. Only 4 stars because we got the rack that was supposed to fit 5 bikes and it is a stretch to hang mine, my husband’s and our toddlers bike on it. No way would this hold 5, especially if you expect to get them up and down easily to use them! Maybe 5 kids bikes? Otherwise, amazing bike rack!
A well thought out simple design, which whilst a little pricey, has tidied up my garage previously strewn with bikes. Hook pegs a little tight but nothing a quick knock with a hammer won’t solve.

Robust bike rack and came exactly as described. It does include fittings but as my bikes are valuable, I purchased a radiator hanging kit for a small sum. This was my preference and I would advise everyone buying it to consider appropriate fixings for the structure it is being hung on. (You cannot expect a supplier to provide multiple fixings for every eventuality). Installation was easy, 45mins. I did it on my own, but probably a two man job to reduce DIY profanity emanating from my garage…
The first thing I want to say about this product is wow! The package was a lot smaller than what I was thinking. And when I saw how light it was, I was kinda wondering if this would be a great product for the cost. My husband and I had already mapped out the area that were had to work with, so I was able to get right to work. The hardest part about this whole assembly was finding the studs. Everything else was a breeze. Even being able to drill holes into the drywall and studs I was able to do myself. As of right now we have 4 bikes on the rack. Just be sure to invert the bikes when you store them. I highly recommend this product.

I’ve done a LOT of bike rack research, and all of them either look terrible, aren’t structurally sound or don’t treat the bike well. I’m genuinely so happy with this one. Note that you’d struggle to fit 4 full-sized mountain bikes, but for my 2 + a road bike it’s AMAZING. I get so many compliments on it.

I only fit 3 bikes, 1 20″ bmx, 1 24″cruiser & 1 24″ mountain bike. I wanted to space them out so they do not touch

I think the product is good – but it could be about 6 – 12′ bigger. The handle bars on the bikes still get caught on each other.

This helped me clean up my garage. The bikes are asses able and easy to get down.
Great rack & easy to install. Best part is the free space that I now have in my garage. The photo was taken right after I had installed it, so I actually have more things on the top shelf now & it’s holding strong.
This has been such a great space saver for my garage! I have two adult mountain bikes and a child’s bike on it with room to spare. The assembly instructions aren’t great, but when you see how it’s supposed to look when it’s assembled, it’s pretty easy to figure out. I would highly recommend this item.
Installed in garage CMU wall instead of studs and worked beautifully. Didn’t use the screws provided and bought ones just for masonry. Had been skeptical about fitting 5 bicycles but they all fit when inverted every other one.

Sturdy and functional, shelf is a great added feature. Setting height wasn’t obvious but video on website helped.

Bottom line, I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend for anybody. Worth the price tag, easy assembly, sturdy design, looks great. One recommendation I would make to the seller is to maybe add a variety of colors to the metal. And perhaps a wider selection of hooks.
This bike rack is easy to install, sturdy. I had an issue with one of the lag screws being faulty from the factory and the company promptly resolved my issue.
Easy and quick to install – only drawback is that we had to alternate the bikes (front tire up, then front tire down) to fit the bikes so the handle bars don’t hit. Great space saver, which is what we needed over our old rack that took up too much garage space.
This is exactly what we needed! It is sturdy, more convenient than our old style bike racks, and easy to install! We didn’t have an issue at all. I’m not tall so we just mounted it with the tires off the ground about 3″ and it’s easy to get the bikes off the rack!
Pretty easy to install, took about an hour. Holds all 6 bikes, love the shelf for extra storage. Make sure you have studs to drill into
It’s a very sturdy bicycle rack, and perfect to organise your garage. The only downside (Not a big deal if you have a hammer), is that the hook holes where the pin has to pass through are not perfectly aligned, and you might find it a bit difficult to assemble it.
Holds the bike firmly in place, my walls aren’t the best (Taylor Wimpey are the worst) so I used some 24mm MDF backboard to enable me to drill multiple holes and spread the load as the first time I tried it the top two just pulled out, this i stress was due to the wall quality not the fixtures or fittings… other than that hiccup it’s still up and holding the bikes out the way.
Just took a few minutes to install. Can hold 3 large mountain bikes and 2 kid bikes just fine. The shelf is a nice addition.
This rack lived up to the reviews. Very sturdy and was able to fit 5 bikes. You do have to alternate handle bars to make them all fit, but that is not a big deal. Install was easy with decent graphics on the instructions to help guide you along. I would recommend and buy again!
I didn’t want to spend an enormous amount of money but the rack is worth every dollar spent. It was so compact in the box and I questioned the ability to hang 3 adult size bikes and a child’s bike. But after I opened it and found the studs(which I need to say was the hardest part), the installation was easy, drill and level was all I needed. I would recommend this bike rack for those in need of proper storage in a home. I like the extra shelf to store the helmets too. Overall a great buy.

We were able to fit 5 mountain bikes perfectly! 3 are 20 inch for kids but I think could do 5 regular..

This product was received on time. It was very easy to assemble. Not one problem except my own fault. I put the bar with the holes facing me. It was in a corner so I had to take one bracket down to turn the bar. Very sturdy product would buy again in a heart beat.
Its huge and sturdy and lots of space for toddler toys…..I recommended it.

A well thought out simple design, which whilst a little pricey, has tidied up my garage previously strewn with bikes. Hook pegs a little tight but nothing a quick knock with a hammer won’t solve.
Really nice bike rack. Easy to assemble and mount to the wall, very sturdy, and it looks nice. Only negative would be the size. I’m using it for 4 bikes and they fit fine but it would be a tight squeeze with 5.
