These ear buds are great with one problem! First off, I love the overall design – very well thought out and stylish. They come in a really nice case that also charges them as well. This charges using USB-C which is great and they do include a cable in the box. The overall quality feels very premium.

The sound quality is very good and they have a good bit of bass to them, too. They really immerse you into your movie, game, or music. I used these to make a few calls and the people on the other end said they were able to hear me just fine.

Charging is simple and once charged, I averaged quite a few days of use with them being recharged in the case (keep in mind I didn’t use them all day). Battery life will differ depending on how much or how little you use them. They do have quite a long standby time.

Once fully charged they are very easy to setup and pair. No worrying about them unpairing each other and then doing some complicated hold this and that button to pair. Put them in the case and pull them back out, it’s that simple.

The noise reduction works pretty well, but just like everything else, it’s not perfect. It does, however, still allow me to really enjoy what I am listening to.

They are very comfortable in the ear and easy to wear for an extended period of time. They do have replaceable tips so be sure to use the right size for your ear. They are very easy to change as needed.

I’ve used these running, walking, gaming, and working out and didn’t have an issue with sweat or with them falling out during any of those activities.

All things considered, these are a nice set of ear buds that work well, however, at this price point, I feel like you can get others out there a little cheaper without sacrificing quality. I can fully recommend these if the price comes down to about $70 – $80.

Appearance: Great-looking earbuds! Nicely colored with a matching case.

Assembly: Pull these out of the box and charge them fully. Pair them with your device and you’re ready to put them to the test.

Thoughts: I like these headphones. The fit is good and they are quite comfortable. They start pairing as soon as you pull them out of the case. The sound is good and so far, the battery life has been great. The controls are simple to use and have been very easy to learn. 5/5

    Overall: Good Earbuds

Admittedly, I’m not an audiophile. I might not be the right person to write a detailed review on any ear buds but as a normal music lover I can tell the difference between good and bad sound.
I compared these against my LG tone 5’s , a quality set of headphones by my standards. I gotta say, these blow them out of the water. Solid reproduction and near the boomy overly boosted bass. I was very impressed. I don’t posess the words to describe the difference except to say “fuller” not as in a lot of mids, but they just sound balanced like I was listening live.
I don’t think they are quite as comfortable as the LG earbuds however. With my tone 5’s I can go all day, even shower without feeling like they are going to fall out. these just don’t feel quite as secure, although I don’t remember actually losing one. I will probably check back into what this company is producing next time I am in the market for more. I’m that impressed.

On one hand I prefer balanced/neutral sound signatures, but on the other hand, I do like having a variety of different headphones/buds/IEMs for listening to different types of music, as I enjoy a very wide genres of music.

Nearly all my listening devices are tuned to sound somewhat to fully neutral sounding. That’s because I’d either sell, give away, or throw away the ones with heavy “V-shaped” signatures. I absolutely hate it, as it’s pretty repulsive to me, not matter the genre of music.

That’s why it’s strange that I like these so much. Out of all the “V-shaped” buds I’ve listened to just these past two years (I’ve lost count on how many), these sound unique to me. While the others were boomy and “bassy”, they sounded like 8″-10″ subs with the lower frequencies of an EQ jacked all the way up while never really being able to hit the low sub frequencies and just sounded boomy and muddy while drowning out everything else – absolute garbage.

These remind me of my 12″ JL Audio W6 in a sealed enclosure powered by a Phoenix Gold mono block way back in the day. Boy, those were the days, but I digress. These T2s go really low while sounding clean and tight, and the crazy thing is that the mids and treble aren’t cannibalized by the bass. What’s even crazier is that these are using the SBC codec – no aptx, not even AAC. But I still find myself enjoying these. The T2 has an exciting sound signature that I haven’t gotten from bass heavy tuned buds before. The treble sparkles without fatiguing the ears. The mids are there right behind the bass. For dance, electronic, synthwave/chillwave, these sound fantastic and immersive. I mean, they sound great for other genres too, but obviously these are going to sound the best with upbeat, bassy tracks.

Now, I’m a pretty old school type of guy who prefers wired everything over wireless/bluetooth (I say this while staring at my ridiculous collection of bluetooth buds and headphones/headsets), but my point is, I was never a fan of ANC. I really don’t care how ‘good’ it is, as I don’t like how it affects the sound signature. Stuff always sound better with that garbage turned off. So, I didn’t rate that category. Sue me.

For me sound always comes first. Next importantly is fit – and these are really comfortable in my ears. Obviously, this is going to be entirely subjective, but they’re light and provide a great seal. I can listen to these for hours without any discomfort.

The egg-shaped charging case is compact and clean. I like that they can fit into pretty much any pocket. And the smooth rubbery texture feels nice in the hand. The attached lanyard is a nice touch.

So, in the categories I find important, these are a winner. It’s crazy, but lately I’ve been listening to these more than I have been listening to any of my high-end Jabras, or even my MW08s. Don’t get me wrong, I still like those better overall by a large margin, but these sound more exciting with particular genres. In the end, I’m glad that the T2 has joined the ranks of my earbud army. Needless to say, I won’t be giving these away.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWhen I got these, they were $129. They are $96.75 today, possibly discounted for the Christmas sales. I usually review budget (meaning under $50) earbuds, but I’ve branched out a little to explore some of the higher end ones.

Pairing – these paired easily, however I got two different Sudio items pop up in my list. I clicked on both of them, but only one selection connected. They are working though. (I wonder what else I connected to.)

Instructions – all pictures, no words, so it helps if you’ve already used other earbuds before to figure out what the pictures mean. For the most part, I knew what they meant. I think the last page is about resetting the buds, which is not a thing all earbuds have.

Controls – sensitive enough, but triple tap was supposed to be volume control, and it only paused. Single tap is play/pause (as it SHOULD be!), double tap will change the track, and triple tap is supposed to change the volume, but it play/pauses. Long press will cycle between noise canceling modes. Most buds will have a voice say something like, “ANC on”, but there are no voices here. They are sound effects, and the only way I can tell if it’s ANC on, off, or transparency mode is to pause whatever I’m listening to and see if I can hear the TV.

Battery/case – looks fine & feels fine. The case comes with a strap, which is really kind of nice. The battery life is good compared to the average with a possible 35 hours total, and 7-ish hours on a single charge.

Comfort – not bad. These are HUGE buds, but the part that actually goes into your ear isn’t too huge. There are 4 sets of silicon tips to play with.

Latency – I didn’t notice any, and I tend to watch lips move when I watch videos. There wasn’t a lag between mouths moving and voices.

Sound quality – not as good as my really expensive buds, but decent. I don’t think the sound quality is great for hundred dollar buds – I have some under $50 that sound better, but it’s decent. I think these might be better for gaming or streaming video than true audiophile sound experiences, but music sounded just fine.

TL;DR: If these were $50, I would have given them 5 stars. At a hundred dollars, they are solidly decent. The instructions were a little weird, but understandable if these aren’t your first true wireless buds. The controls work except for changing volume, at least for the set I got. These are very good, but not great.

These ear buds worked fine. We were able to use them without a problem. They fit in the ear okay. The sounds came out just fine. It met our needs. It was as described. They were discreet and not easily noticed. It made it a lot easier to use them. They were fairly comfortable. We didn’t have any problems.

I liked that they were wireless. It is so convenient not to have to worry about cords.

Fabrikation erfolgt natrlich in China.

These are one of the better quality and best pair and brand of earbuds that I’ve ever worn and used. I’ve used AirPods and these are very high quality and an equalivent to AirPods. I can see why a lot of friends and others have recommended these earbuds.
The Sudio T2 Wireless Earbuds have very good ANC and good connection. These have a really good, clear, and quality sound for listening to audiobooks, music, shows, and everything. They come partially charged and are easy to fully charge and the battery life is also very good quality.
I also like their choices of colors and especially like these jade color earphones. I love the feel of them too. I usually can’t wear earphones very much or for too long because I have sensitive ears and a lot of earbuds hurt and are very uncomfortable for me, but these are one of the few pairs I’ve found that are quite comfortable for me to wear for longer periods of time that I actually like wearing and work well for me. It’s very nice that these have 4 different sizes of earbud tips to use and try out to find the best, most comfortable size for you to wear and use. I would highly recommend these!

I love these ear buds my ears don’t get tired allowing the buds to slip out I love that part they are nice and loud like I like it my only complaint is that your voice comes across muffled to callers which isn’t good for business conversations I would only use for music listening only

I’ve been running through wireless earbuds over the last couple of years. I have a pair of old LG buds, JBL, Hyphen and a few of the Chinese pairs from Amazon. I recently got a pair of Google Pixel buds which I really like. But before getting those, I got these Sudio buds.

The overall soundstage is very good. There is a good separation of sound. The EQ is pretty balanced. Highs are crisp and clean. Bass is tight and punchy.

I used these buds for the gym and for runs. I found they stayed in place quite well considering there isn’t much holding it in place. The rubbery coating is comfortable and probably helps to hold it in place. The sound isolation isn’t amazing but it’s fine for my needs. Music sounds rich and full, voices on podcasts sound present and crisp. Calls sound clear and people on the other end have had no complaints in how I sound. I’ve even recorded myself on my phone to hear how they would hear me. It sounds very good. Awkward listening back to my voice, of course, but still very good. No complaints there.

Battery life is pretty true to the description. I’m able to go over 2 weeks without charging it. I typically hit the gym for about an hour or two, 3-4 times a week. And when I do charge it, it usually isn’t completely dead. So it’s doing what it’s supposed to do. The first two weeks or so that I had these, they were my everyday pair, so I was taking calls and commuting to work and using them way more than I do now. During that time, I had to charge it probably every 3 days. Solid battery life.

One gripe I do have is that setup took a little longer than I expected. I have so far connected this to 4 different phones just to check if ther was an issue with my first attempt. I had the same issue each time. The left bud seemed to connect fine but the right kept searching. On one of the attempts it fixed itself by removing the buds from the case and putting them back in. But in the other 3 attempts, I had to completely forget the device and reconnect. It works fine after the initial setup and I am able to use one bud at a time if I need to. But that first time around a few extra steps. Not a huge issue, but just something to keep in mind. If you’re having trouble setting it up, try doing that.

All in all, a great item. It’s a handsome pair of earbuds. I love the color (I got the green ones). Matches one of my phone cases almost perfectly. They sound great. They last a long time. They stay put. Exactly what you’d need in an earbud.

    Wassergeschtzt
    Qualitatives Case
    Super Verarbeitung
    berragender Sound
    Gute Ohrpolster-Gren
    Fallen relativ leicht heraus
    Status-LED auf der Rckseite

    Lieferumfang:

Somit sollte fr jeden was dabei sein.

I lost my airpods pros and I needed a new pair of headphones, but I have not really liked the fit of the airpod pros, even though I liked the sound. Fit is a very personal thing and some will find one that fits them great and another it won’t fit.

But for me, these fit me really well once I changed the tips to the smallest size. My airpod pros I tened to the medium or large size, but these fit me best when I put them pretty far into my ears, which meant the smallest size.

And I think the sound was decent. I am not an audiophile and most of what I am listening to is audiobooks and podcasts, but I could hear well. I don’t think the active noise cancelation is quite as good as the airpod pros and part of that is the seal. While these fit into my ears well and were comfortable, they didn’t seal tight like the airpod pros. So there was some sound leaking in.

My other complaint is the mic quality. Other people thought I was very faint and multiple times I just switched to talking directly on the phone or plugged in wired headphones to my computer. Because my main two uses are long conversations on zoom and listening to podcasts via my apple watch as I walk, the lack of a good mic is a problem since, one of the two main uses was not good.

But I am still using them regularly to walk. They stick in my ears well and do not fall out as I am moving as my airpod pros did.

The SUDIO T2 (ASIN-B09CZ8MK41) WIRELESS EARBUDS have built-in microphone, individual controls are rechargeable with included travel/storage case. The charge cable IS included but NO AC Power Module. Additional accessories include cleaning cloth and User Manual. Manuel is graphics only with no text.

In my usage the fit and comfort are good. There are several different size silicone domes ( tips ) included with one factory installed fitting me well. I did not experiment with other sizes. These tips( domes ) are soft and long term usage created no discomfort issues.

SOUND. Overall in my opinion has good dynamic range. There is some Bass response but not with any depth. The mid and high range has depth with clear distinct notes and voice. Breaks of silence were without intruding extraneous hiss or crackle. The music in stereo provided surround sound with overall fullness, not tinny or thin. Outside noise is blocked but still voices surrounded are heard.

Initially.. the Ear Bud system was charged overnight even though received with partial factory charge. The connection is VIA Bluetooth with the earbuds in the Charge/Storage case. When the case top is opened the ear buds are active with Bluetooth signal available. The interface is without issue. Placing Buds back in case and closing top turns them Off.

Usage after Bluetooth connection, was a slight problem. Each Ear Bud has a control. In handling I inadvertently pressed a control that placed one side in OFF condition. Experiment with controls had both sides working in stereo music response. The provided User Manual Is graphics only. There is no text. A quick look at manufacturer site I found no expanded User Manual. The control is as large as the Ear Bud so convenient to access. There is “beep” response to alert of changes. Recommended- Four Star

A set of wireless Earbuds that come with a decent charging case that has a lanyard attached to it (Which is quite unusual, but quite welcome, although I’d prefer it to be removable.) At 100 pounds these are fairly pricey, but in the league of the AirPods or offerings from Sony.

Build quality is excellent and does give the impression of a premium product. There’s sadly no application integration, which is fairly common amongst Earbuds of this price. The controls are touch controls, which I hate as I’m always pressing the unintentionally and these were no exception. There’s no ‘ear detection’ so if you take the out you won’t get automatic pausing. At this price range I’d expect a few features like this. There is ANC, which is triggered by a long 2 seconds presson the right hand side Earbud and a whoosing sound to indicate it’s changed. ANC was OK at drowning out persistent traffic noise when using then out and about and I didn’t notice any degredation of sound.

Sound quality is very good. Listening to some YES (Prog rock) I found the sound clear with all the music’s smaller details clear, although I did find the louder percussion sometimes sounded a little clipped. Vocals were clear and Chris Squire’s bass was thumpingly loud! However, for the the price range the sound quality is pretty decent. I’d recommend these for the sound quality, but the ANC was average and I’d like to see some app integration and the removal of those touch controls!

If you’ve got 100 pounds to spend these are good, but I think brands like 1More offer better quality and app integration for a similar price.

    Good, but a little expensive

I really like these Sudio T2 earbuds. They sound good and were easy to set up and the touch controls are nice, they took a bit to get used to but work good. Noise cancelation seems good however I have never used noise canceling anything so I have nothing to base this on.

The fit on the other hand is So So. I feel like they could go 1/8th of an inch deeper for a more secure fit. My husband and I both tried them with the different ear pad sizes and the seem just a tad too short for us.

I do like them and will use them but for us I think they could fit better. For what its worth, I have small ear canals and he has what I would consider normal ear canals.

I still gave them 5 stars because I feel they deserve all 5 of them.

  19. Julie Vadnal says:

The list price is definitely more than I would typically spend on earbuds, but these are an absolutely solid 4 stars.

    Pros:
    – Very good sound: good rumble from the bass, with very clear mids and highs
    – Good ambient mode: not really something I use, but it sounds ok/good
    – Very good ANC: these are the best earbuds I have tried so far with respect to minimal wind noise when biking. This doesn’t mean wind noise is gone, but it’s definitely a lower volume level than any other earbuds I have tried.
    – Small case: not super small, but small enough to fit in my pocket. I like the nylon loop on it as well, though I will probably never actually hang it from anything.
    – Good battery life: about 2hrs at 60% volume with ANC used 30% of the earbud battery, so battery life of the earbuds is in the 6-7hr range
    – Easy to open the case, but I don’t expect it to accidentally open (if I drop it for instance).
    – Easy to remove the earbuds from the case, and easy to insert them back into the case.
    – They fit me quite well, I get a good seal in my ears and they feel secure. Again, no problems biking.
    – The eartips themselves are a little different from typical: they are not open in the middle, there is actually some silicone in the middle (with little holes in it, like a strainer) that actually covers the “speaker tip” of the earbuds. I really like this, I think it will do a good job of keeping stuff (earwax primarily) out of the earbuds.
    – The earbuds themselves are average to slightly larger than average, but not large. This turns out to be a plus because it gives you a nice, large flat area for the touch controls that’s easy to find/touch.
    – The touch controls themselves are quite good, around 90% accurate (so far, after only a few hours of use. I expect better when I have a little more muscle memory of where the touch sensor is) and simple: single tap is play/pause, double tap is skip backward/forward, triple tap is volume down/up, and long press cycle through the sound mode (ANC on, ambient on, ANC and ambient off).

The only negatives in my mind aren’t really cons, they are just features these lack:
    – No app, to allow customizing the sound quality or the touch controls
    – No wireless charging, which I always find odd in $100+ earbuds

At this time, these are my favorite wireless earbuds, good for just about any situation.

I like these, the sound quality is pretty good and they fit in my ears, they don’t want to fall out constantly.
I have buds that range from 20 bucks up to 200 and in my opinion, these are a great option for the price.
In regard to the audio quality, for music I do need an equalizer especially for dimming the treble.
    Phone calls sound really good.
    No connectivity issues at all.
    Great for gifting.

Innen dann der Slogan ‘ Shape Life Through Immersive Sound ‘.

Beim Klang sollten diese Hrer also liefern!

    ANC

Dann muss man nachjustieren.

I love these Sudio T2 active noise cancelling earphones.
I found them very comfortable, even for the prolonged use.
The sound quality is excellent and the noise cancelling works great. I often use them on a busy train, on the underground, in the busy city centre and noise is blocked out very well, not entirely, but sufficiently to make it possible to listen to the music quieter and still being able to hear it clearly.
There is also an option to hear the surrounding sounds, which is useful if you want to talk to someone without pulling the earphones out of your ears.
The sound is very nice and reach in bass and treble, especially with the noise cancelling on.
The batteries last me two to three days of a couple of hours of commute daily. They probably would last longer, but I just charge them twice a week, just in case.
They are much easier to control than my previous touch controlled earphones. I always had problems before with earphones not sensing properly and doing something I didn’t wanted them to do. With Sudio T2 earphones I just don’t have these issues, perhaps the sensitivity is well adjusted.
The built-in mic works well and allows having a comfortable phone conversation as long as the environment is not too noisy. When I had to use them for a phone call in a car travelling 70mph on a busy motorway, the person I was speaking to had difficulties with hearing me, like I was talking from far away, and I needed to be pretty loud. This was not an issue in almost all other situations I used them for calling.
Overall, these are the best earphones I had so far and I have quite a few pairs to compare them to. The only thing I would like to be improved is the mic sensitivity in the noisy environment, but I just don’t know if it is possible at all, so for me this is definitely a five stars product.

    Very comfortable, amazing sound quality.

The attention to detail and craftsmanship are superb. From the packaging to the the actual pods. Feature ANC, BT 5.2 long playback /runtime, and good fit. The instructions were not as helpful or detailed as the actual attention to detail on the packaging materials and unit design. The units pair quickly and offer excellent frequency response throughout the sonic range. Also solid Signal to Noise, and the ANC works well once I figured out how to activate the feature. Swedish engineering (company), made in china. A solid pod option for the modern audiophile/enthusiast. Moisture proof design is perfect for active users or gym fanatics.

    *** Tagekomfort ***

    Ich spre sie nicht. Punkt.

Klarer Pluspunkt!

Sudio T2 - Die sind mal so richtig gut!

These headphones sit in a middle price bracket in some ways, sitting below the premium buds from audiophile brands like B&O or Sony etc., but above the sometimes very decent imitation models from brands you’ve not heard of. But in terms of quality, sound and design, they definitely look upwards to the premium brands rather than down to the cheap ones.

The sound is really quite lovely. It’s quite a bright sound, with a balanced quality throughout the EQ range, especially notable in the bass where brighter higher basses roll comfortably with a really deep sub-bass capability. Coupled with the effective noise cancelling (not the best I’ve heard but very good), it’s a really immersive, lose-yourself-in-the-music sound quality that only the most extreme audiophiles would be able to find any criticisms about.

As a footnote to that, I’m told by people I spoke to through them that the microphone quality is incredibly clear too, though they mentioned that the background noise as well as the voice were clear- which could be a plus or minus depending on circumstances.

Another really positive point for me is the feel and shape of them. They are a very sensible shape for my ears. They tuck in nicely, and don’t require wedging to feel like they’re going to stay put. The blurb about being “tested on over 400 ears” does seem to have paid off.

I tried jogging in them as well, but my minor reservations about that were because of how lightweight these buds feel- rather than being weighted down to the bottom of the ear, they do feel light enough that they could be bounced out. But then I’m usually over-cautious about these things.

The plastic of both the buds and the case has a soft feel to it that feels smart and a little rubbery. The fabric loop on the charging case is an unusual touch, but a welcome one, allowing you to hook it onto clothing (again for jogging etc.) or even as a keyring accessory.

Pairing and charging is elegantly simple. Remember to peel the plastic protectors off the charging connector spots and fully charge them before first use! They relink to my phone via Bluetooth quickly and with no fuss.

These headphones aren’t a sonic revelation and there are certain features that top-end brands can offer that these don’t. But for something under the hundred quid mark (just), the sound quality, build quality and general feel of them warrants five stars I reckon.

I was so confused and stunned at the same time when I initially put these headphones into my ears and turned on the same songs that I know by heart and listen to 10 to 15 times a month. So here I am, listening to a song, and I’m like, when did they put cymbals into this song?”I’ve never heard cymbals in this song before, so it was odd. So I switched to another song, and as I was listening to it not only could I hear the singer’s voice, but I heard another guitar in the song that I have never heard before either. The more and more I listened to songs that I know every word of and beat, I realized that these headphones allow me to:

    * Hear new instruments that I never knew existed in the song.
    * Isolate the instruments in my head from the vocals and other instruments and just enjoy each one as if I were singing the song and playing the instrument myself.
    * Hear the vocals in songs with great clarity. The vocals are so clear in fact, that the volume doesn’t have to be turned up that much in order to understand words. I prefer less volume in my ears as much as possible, but I don’t like to sacrifice missing out on vocals.

Comfort is another big thing for me when it comes to headphones. If headphones that I own are not comfortable, then I’m only going to wear them for as long as necessary, which usually ends up being about an hour or less at a time due to sensitive ear canals which cases my ears start to itching and or sweating so badly that the headphones fall out. I’m happy to report that these headphones didn’t cause any ear itching or discomfort. They also stay in my ears really well, even when I shook my head back and forth like a dog does after it gets a bath, and I still couldn’t get the headphones to fall out. I figured I’d rather test and see if these would fall out on the clean floor in my home, instead of having them accidentally fall out on a germ filled bathroom floor, or somewhere in the dirt outside.

So, one last thing I really like about these before I tell you about what I dislike is, I love the sensitivity of the touch controls. The touch controls are so sensitive in fact, that I barely even have to touch then with the lightest touch, and smallest little amountof my finger to pause the music.

The next part of the review is what I dislike about the headphones.

    * The instructions are very difficult to decifer on some features, and nearly impossible on others.
There is one page of very brief page if instructions with pictures and almost no words, and I feel like a lot of people will be very confused do the lack
specific instructions. I consider myself to be extremely tech savy and they still confused me and left me with questions, especially when it comes to the three different modes of active noise cancellation. Allow me to explain more below.

The three different modes of active noise cancellation can be switched by holding down my finger on one of the earbuds for 2 seconds according to the instructions. I hold my finger down for 2 seconds, and I hear a distinct tone indicating that I’ve switched the active noise cancellation mode. I can hold my finger for another 2 seconds and here a different distinct tone indicating that I’ve switched it again. I can do the same thing a third time and here another distinct tone into getting that I’ve switched to the third active noise cancellation mode. Here’s where the problem lies.

    * The tones I hear are a swirling noise, noise with 2 beeps, and a single beep.

I tried to look at the instructions to to see determine which ANC(active noise cancellation )mode I was on according to the beep or noise I heard and it shows pictures of a car and someone holding their hands near their ears. I think a more specific indication of the ANC mode is absolutely necessary! My best guess after using the 3 ANC modes is that most likely noises and beeps are this:

    1. 2 beeps is sounds like an ambient mode.
    2. 1 beep sounds like a (medium) noise cancellation of outside sounds.
    3. Swirling noise sounds like a (high) cancellation) of outside noise.

I’ll also summarize this review below.
    PROS:
    * Incredible sound that allows me to hear new instruments in songs.
    * Great sharpness and clarity.
    * Excellent bass, but not too much.
    * Comfortable and don’t make my ears itch.
    * Active noise cancellation.
    * Rechargeable with case.

    CONS:
    * Very confusing instructions.
    * No app

If you’re looking for headphones that have an amazing instrumental and vocal capability and don’t mind confusing instructions then you should definitely give these a try because the sound along with the comfort does not disappoint one bit.

These are designed in Sweden and manufactured in China with impeccable precision.

Sounds like a concert hall with deep authentic bass while rendering crisp mids and highs.

They pair quickly and easily and the little case is well made and perfectly sized to fit in the pocket.

    The sound is completely impressive!!

    UPDATE!!!!

I figured out how to get the ANC to work and it works awesomely! It works when you have both ear buds in, which makes total sense!!! My recommendation is that the company re do their manual to be more clear.

The packaging is very nice. The charge LED lights is a little dim. The manual is pretty bad. It is basically just a bunch of pictures with just a few words. It came fully charged so I was looking for pairing instructions. Well, there is none. I just paired to my phone instantly without needing any codes. All of the functions are done with the one button on each earbud. Long hold for 10s to turn it on or off. For music, Long hold for 3s to cycle through the noise cancellation modes. Quick tap once to play and pause the music. Quick tap twice on the left to go back, and go forward on the right. Quick tap three times on the left to lower the volume, and raise the volume on the right.

When the phone rings, quick tap once to answer, and long hold 3s to ignore. During a call, long holding 3s hangs up the call. The noise cancellation does not work during a call as far as I can tell.

The earbuds are comfortable when you have the right tips on. As shown in the picture, the earbuds are not the smallest, but definitely not huge. The size does help the bass reproduction. My first impression of the sound was not that great. Having been an audio equipment repair tech many years ago, and owning wide variety of audio equipment including studio monitors, I was able to quickly fix the sound quality problem. The fix is fairly simple, I just tweaked the EQ to boost the mids with the following settings

    +2db @250hz
    +5db @500hz
    +5db @1khz
    +5db @2khz
    +2db @4khz

“Wrapped around my finger” from the Certifiable album now sound a lot more like the studio monitors. “Sultan of Swing” from the “Dire Straight” album sound really good too. Well, this settings are my personal preference after only a few minutes of listening. You may not like my settings, but it should give you a starting point to get it to sound right for you. Anyways, for the asking price, I shouldn’t have to tweak the EQ to boost the mids as much. For that and the poor manual, I knocked one star off.

As for the noise cancellation, it nearly completely cancelled the noise from the AC at full blast sitting on the front seat on my car. It is on par with the high end headphones. While the music still sounds decent, it does cause some distortions, probably not enough to bother an average user.

I can honestly recommend this product with a reminder that you will probably need to tweak the EQ to get the best sound.

    Much Better With EQ Tweaks.

A couple of days ordered, my SO ordered a pair of LG Tone ANC in-ear, now AKA earbuds for $129.99, then i expressed how i felt that earbuds would never match fidelity and balance of full sized earphones, mainly because you know, driver size.

I know there are plenty of +$1000 wired in-ear monitors that would blow high-end headsets out of the water, but i’m talking about consumer level headsets, not studio or even high-end audiophile tiers, but coming back to the story, i was blown away on the quality, separation, depth, ANC, battery life, and of course portability, the first day i used those more than my SO by far, amazed on how good those sounded, i kept switching between the LG Tone and my full sized- over the ear House of Marley’s Exodus ANC ($249) and found out they were not “better”, but had strengths on par to each other, and if you take the portability into account, it’s just a no brainer on how close they were on sound quality, but enough of HoM and LG…

Being the broke audiophile i am, i can’t afford the $500+ headphones available out there, but these Sudio T2 ($129) came into my Amazon results as i was now looking for some 2021 technology earbuds, and i ordered these and the 1More Colorbuds 2 ($79) intending to just keep one based on the information that was available online for them, but to make the story short i’m wearing the Colorbuds 2 as i write this review while the Sudio T2 are back in their box.

Unfortunately out of the 3 earbuds, although these have strengths (probably the best for EDM, Hip-Hop), those strengths were not enough to overcome their weaknesses and i found these to be at the bottom of the ranking.

    Sound (3/5):
I found the sound excessively boomy out of the box, YOU CAN FIX THIS USING AN EQUALIZER, the problem i have with that is that then every time you switch bluetooth devices you have to come back to the EQ and set it back because the EQ values that make these pair sound good would make every other device sound terrible.

These are a strong “V” tuned pair of earbuds, and with strong i mean the valley on the “V” is a deep abyss.
I am not entirely sure on why they tuned these like this, i mean, with HEAVY Equalization they sound pretty good, but they went all thunderous with the bass where low-frequencies overcome the mids and to compensate for that amount of bass they had to rise the highs to the point they are sibilant.

    Comfort 5/5:
Very comfortable fit. These come with several tips to adjust to your ear canal but the default ones fit great on my ears, your mileage may vary but has been a comfortable experience to me. The ANC level

    Features & Build Quality (4/5):
The ANC on these is decent, but i disliked that there is not a lot of perceivable difference between the three modes (ANC, Ambient Passthrough, OFF) and the confirmation on the mode switch is a weird sound instead of say “ANC-Ambient-Off” but i understand they may be targeting a wider language selection with this choice.

THE CASE IS OVAL SHAPED WITH NO FLAT ANGLES TO STAND. Enough said about that but putting that aside it has nice feeling and it’s compact, branded very discreetly and with a USB-C port on the back to recharge the case and the buds, the LED charging indicator is in the back next to the connector and it indicates when the charge is in progress and when they are fully charged.

These are BT 5.2, so they’ll offer the best battery life the current technology can offer.

    Overall (3.5/5):
At $129 and considering how flooded the market is with alternatives for sometimes a lower price tag i have a hard time recommending these for the average user that would listen to more than a few genres genre, but if you’re a hard basshead these come with the latest 5.2 BT technology in that will give you an outstanding battery life, discreet, comfortable, lightweight, and have bass rumble for days.

I’ve tried many Bluetooth earbuds although all budget earbuds of sufficient value. At this price point, I was looking for something much more in terms of quality compared to my budget earbuds but not expecting AirPod quality.
Overall, these earbuds are high quality in terms of the look, battery life, ease of use with the touch controls. I would say that the quality is good but not necessarily at the almost 100 price point.
To be fair, my needs for earbuds are largely around listening to podcasts, ambient music when working sometimes, and taking calls in quiet enough locations. I do not usually notice the depths of music quality. The sound was crisper than my budget earbuds but again, I’m unsure about whether the quality was that much higher than say a 30, 40 quid earbuds.
Given my needs, I’m not looking for the best quality earbuds in terms of sound quality. These earbuds have though exceeded my expectations of an earbud headset at this price: good sound quality for all of my listening needs, comfortable in my ears for a few hours, battery life, and the look is much sleeker than most budget earbuds.
After easily pairing, the earbuds fit comfortably in my ear and just in case, there are other sizes to adjust if needed. The battery lasts for at least a few days of intermittent use on my commute which is great so I don’t need to charge often. The touch controls are decent enough for noise cancelling which works relatively well.
I use my earbuds for calls and I had no issues taking calls in a quiet location and while walking outside.Overall, I would recommend assuming these wireless Bluetooth earbuds are priced competitively.

    Comfortable, good quality earbuds

I’ve just been using the Sudio T2 Wireless Earbuds for a short while now and it sits comfortably without me experiencing any wearing fatigue.
These earbuds are stated to be sweat and splash proof but no IPX rating is available therefore I’m in two minds, if I go jogging or cycling and it suddenly rains, do I put them away or not?

The Sudio T2 Wireless Earbuds comes with the latest tech such as Bluetooth 5.2 and a USB C charger. Oddly enough the case isn’t wireless charging which is a shame as wireless charging is the way forward.

The sound quality on these Sudio T2 Wireless Earbuds are very good, the audio sound quality is crisp and clear and it will handle most genres without much fuss. For earbuds that cost under 100, there isn’t that much to complain about. But, rather applaud what has been achieved from an affordable pair of earbuds.

Lastly the battery life; on one single charge, the quoted figure was 7.5 hours playtime, this heavy dependent on whether ANC is active and how loud you play your music. if however, you find that you’re running out of juice then 10 minutes charge will give you about two hours of playtime.
The case offers a few recharges. In theory, there is a maximum of 35 hours of playtime but in fact, you will get about 7.5 hours in one sitting before it needs to be recharged.

All in all, these Sudio T2 Wireless Earbuds are very good sounding earbuds that you can wear all day.

Ah so many TWS buds with ANC and feature this and feature that now, quite a few around the 100 mark as these are so what’s what?

These are decent — there are better and there are worse in the same price range, I really quite like them but the controls are a bit iffy and without some of the customisation to sound afforded by other models from other brands — they do fall down a bit where it comes to competition.

My favourite part of these is the fit — they fit extremely well, securely, blocking out ambient noise really well and very effortlessly go in with absolutely minimal adjustment, which is rare, the blurb says they researched thousands of ear shapes and types and I think that’s a perfectly reasonable claim.

The sound is good, crisp and clear with a bass punch and a sub bass thump — they’re not overly bassy, quite well rounded and suite most genres, from hip hop to thrash metal, which is good as there are no sound customisation options.

The ANC is reasonable — to be fair the fit itself is really good at blocking ambient noise and the ANC adds a little bit to it. It’s not revolutionary but it’s perfectly ample for this set up so no complaints. You can cycle through ANC on/off and ambient modes by holding down either bud, this is effective and the change is notified by a different sound for each mode.

The controls are ok but very temperamental — tap to play/pause, double tap for track control and triple for volume. Sometimes they just didn’t register and sometimes they registered on delay which was a bit infuriating. Touch controls can be iffy, and I do accept a certain amount of misfires but the frequency on these was just a bit too much.

Overall, then — yeah, they’re decent, ANC ok (fit does most of the work), sound is good but not customisable — battery average 8 hours per charge, the best thing is the effortless and secure fit. There’re loads on the market and it’s very competitive out there — If you’re looking for a really good fit and no-nonsense sound (no app or customisation) that’s decent then these are your bag. If you want endless customisation then somewhere else is where you’ll want to be — have a look at some of my other reviews for help.

First the good stuff. Great look. Modern and rather minimalist. Excellent workmanship too

The packaging is fairly minimal too – apparently no plastic was used at all. But despite that the appearance is very good.

The headphones themselves are small and well made. You get 4 extra plug sets too, so getting them to stay in your ear shouldn’t be too hard. As you’d expect, these come inside a very neat, egg shaped case, thru which you charge the headphones.

Now on to the less great aspects – the sound is good but not spectacular. Bass especially could be deeper and the top end a bit brighter. The noise cancelling works well and is a bonus at this price point.

    Pairing work as you’d expect.

My real problem is the controls are very sensitive – it’s hard to reposition the phones in your ears without doing something you didn’t mean to do, such as skipping a track.

Other users may not have this problem and these are good enough to warrant at least an audition.

First of all I cannot fault the presentation of this item it’s absolutely lovely it makes you feel like you’ve really ordered a quality item, as you can see from the photos. The attention to detail is really good, down to the little boxes for the cable and the ear buds. The case itself is smooth and sturdy good protection for the earbuds and the earbuds themselves look nice and modern. I did struggle a bit to fit them in my ear and for long periods of time they aren’t as comfortable compared to my wired headphones, due to difference in style. But the sound quality far outweighs my other headphones, made me want to keep listening to my favourite songs to see how they sounded! I would say it’s quite base heavy so if you aren’t into that you might not like the sound. I also knocked a star off for the function touch sensors (I.e. one/two/three presses for different functions, really not very responsive so I ended up just controlling from my phone. Easy to charge and overall good quality if not slightly expensive.

    Sound is excelle

These came in a nice box containing the earbuds, charging/storage case, 3 addition size of ear tips, a short USB-A to USB-C charging cable and a rather perplexing instruction book with no words, just pictures. Luckily the website is more descriptive and easier to follow.
To pair the buds, you just need to take them out of the case initially when they will be in pairing mode.
Once you’re connected, the buds fit in your ear by placing them in and twisting slightly. There’s a touch button on each bud for which a single click plays/pauses, a double click goes back a track (left) or forward a track (right) and a triple click either lowers the volume (left) or raises the volume (right). Touching the button for 2 seconds switches the ANC mode from Off (default when buds are turned on) to Noise Cancellation to Transparent mode (which amplifies the outside sound). On each mode change there is a different sound played which may not be obvious at first. Touching the button for 5 seconds turns the buds on or off, although putting the buds in their case also turns them off, and taking them out of the case turns them on.
The noise cancellation is ok, but not on a par with a set of AirPods Pro. There is less difference with the three modes than you may expect, but it does cancel some noise.
The actual audio sound seemed good with a fair bass, although I’m not a audiophile.
All in all, they were a comfortable fit and worked well as intended. They are less obvious in your ear than AirPods would be.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAt almost 100 a set, these fall into the “upper midrange” category of wireless earbuds, so although you can easily pay twice as much or more for a set you can equally pay around 20 less and still get yourself a decent piece of kit. So do these warrant the extra expense? Yes…and no. It depends what is most important to you.

The manufacturers make quite a big deal about having designed these from the ground up for the ultimate in comfort, and having worn them for shifts at work and also whilst out walking I can confirm that they’ve done a good job. The earbuds were secure at all times and they didn’t cause any discomfort even after an extended period. (I am lucky that whenever I test these things the fitted ear tips are nearly always right for my ears, but you do get alternative sizes in the box.) They also look the part, reminding me a bit of another manufacturers model (I suppose I’d better not say which one) while coming in at about half the price. The case and the buds themselves really do feel like quality items.

Charging is only by cable and while it is at least USB-C it would have been nice to get a wireless option. Wireless charging seems to be available on an increasing number of items these days so this feels like a backward step. Still, how hard is it to plug in a wire? Plus, I realised yesterday that wired charging uses considerably less electricity, which is worth knowing at a time when energy prices are rocketing. It’s only a few watts, but they all add up.

Pairing is simple and I didn’t have the problem that some have had whereby the name appears twice in the list on the phone. This is mentioned by Sudio as being something which can happen, and all you do is ignore the one which has the letters BLE next to it. Funnily enough I had the exact same problem with another set of buds made by a different company, and I never did get to the bottom of that. At least Sudio have acknowledged the issue. Once paired I had no dropouts, and in my view the sound was very good. If I want audio excellence I’ll listen on headphones plugged into an amplifier, but if I’m pottering about at work or going for a walk then these are more than good enough and as good as you can expect at this price.

Speaking of going for a walk, I went out along the main road near where I live. It’s a busy dual carriageway and I have some buds which can cope with the traffic noise to the point where you don’t even know there are cars racing past. Not these, which didn’t seem to make an awful lot of difference to anything. That was disappointing because it’s one of the things which I had hoped they’d get right seeing as they are verging on being a premium product. Having said that, walking along a dual carriageway at rush hour is perhaps a test too far, and when I am at work (I don’t have people around, it’s mainly equipment noises) they are perfectly adequate. But if high quality noise cancelling is a deal breaker for you, look elsewhere.

Where these excel is in the battery life. It’s claimed that they will last for over seven hours on a single charge, and thirty five hours in total with the charging case. That’s very difficult to prove because I don’t wear earbuds for seven hours at a time (three or four would be the most) and as soon as they go back in the case they begin to recharge themselves, but I don’t think Sudio would make such a bold claim if it was wildly inaccurate.

Overall, these are a very good set of earbuds, let down only by the noise cancelling. If you like good looks, great comfort, great sound and a long battery life then I seriously doubt whether you would be disappointed.

Unboxing revealed a very nice pebble style case in a white satin feeling plastic finish that feels very premium, there are black, sand and jade colours. The case is branded at front, and has a USC-C socket for charging at rear with a charging light. The flip open & close lid at the top is nice and solid with good magnetic grip, whilst the design is for the case to lay flat on the rear not what would be considered the bottom, a lanyard completes the external look and feel. A charging cable and selection of earpieces along with the usual user manual and other documentation completes the unboxing.

Opening the case reveals two very attractive looking and premium feeling earbuds, made of the same material as the case but have a contrasting metal touchpad finish. Each earbud having a light which indicates charging status and a recessed hole housing the mic at the front, and the branding and an L or R for the ear it is intended for along with the copper-coloured charging contacts. When removing and re-inserting the earbuds into the case there is a very satisfying magnetic grip which would not easily allow them to come free accidentally. The earbuds are quite short from the speaker to the body of the unit, though the body is fairly bulky and for those with smaller ears and might need adjustment frequently if used in an active context.

Technically the earphones are fairly standard, Bluetooth 5.2, beam-forming mics, SBC codec (so no AAC or APTX capability), Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), up to 7.5 hours for the earbuds on a single charge with 35 hours including case recharges is reported. A useful 2 hours is available from a 10-minute charge so quite fast to get a decent amount of playtime, whilst a full charge is available in around 1 hour. No wireless charging capability is included. They are also sweat and splashproof though I cannot find any rating for this on the Sudio website or in the supplied literature.

Selecting an appropriately sized pair of tips (those supplied fitted to the earbuds were fine for me) and then putting the earbuds in for the first time revealed a perfect fit for my ear cavity. Pairing was very straightforward as the earbuds are ready to be paired on first use, after which I was up and running.

I tried a selection of music to gauge the initial sound signature from the earbuds using a range of musical genres from ‘The Lord of the Rings’ soundtrack, through jazz from Kamasi Washington, a pop mix from Ed Sheeran, Abba and Billie Eilish, folk from Jake Bugg and Katherine Priddy, indie from Idles and Wolf Alice and a couple of rock tracks from Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones. My impression of the sound is that of a warm good low end with punchy bass, it does push into but not drown out the mids which are clean, the treble is crisp and engaging — I did detect a hint of shrillness when pushed hard with poorer recordings. Sound separation and imaging was pretty good. The ANC modes are up to 70—75% effective with low end noises but lesser so with higher frequencies – which is not too bad for a budget earbud. Microphones are clear and do benefit from good background noise cancellation when in calls. One thing I noted was that the volume level upper limit falls short of that for most earbuds I have tested, another notch up would have been preferred but the rather lush sound is still very enjoyable.

Comfort was spot on; I rarely have to adjust these even in longer listening sessions. Touch controls were a little hit and miss for me once I had deciphered the rather cryptic instructions provided by Sudio! No problem with single touch action such as play/pause and long presses for ANC, but the three tap volume up and down was missed more than hit — I would get the track skipped more often than a volume increment or decrement — worse when my hands were cold as the chillier autumn nights prevail. One of the reasons I’m still a fan of the tactile press button. Call controls were pretty good with the longer presses required for them when in a call.

Overall, a comfortable, premium looking, immersive sounding earbud from Sudio with a decent feature set and good battery life. At the price I think they represent good value as long as you are not looking for audiophile class earbuds.

The Sudio T2 wireless earbuds come in a nicely designed box, upon opening you are greeted with the beautifully designed docking case, the case is made from polycarbonate and has a rubber texture to the outside that feels good to hold and is grippy, the case has a fabric loop also.
Inside the case is the earbuds that feel and look really well made, they have a protective sticker to cover the contacts on the back and you must remove the stickers and place them back into the dock and they will start blinking before use.
To connect them to your device remove them and insert them correctly into the correct ear and search for them via the Bluetooth settings on your device.

Once done you’re good to go, the sound is very good in all the ranges, the lows are surprisingly punchy with the base being very noticeable, sometimes a little too much but base fans would be happy with this I’m sure, the mid-range has a lot of body but sometimes feels like it’s missing a bit of heft from those fundamental frequencies, the high treble frequencies make a good impact adding a great layer of texture and adding character to each track you listen to that comes through clear and doesn’t sound too tinny, there is no app to use with the buds for controlling settings that I’m aware of and that would have been a nice addition to these.
The box comes with a range of tip sizes and they can be easily swapped over to suit the size that suits you the most, there are a set of 4 included.
The buds feel comfortable when in and are ergonomic, they feel secure once in position but they must be positioned in the ear and turned slightly so the pointier section sits in the bottom of the ear.

Battery usage is up to 7.5 hours on a single charge, and around 6.5 hours with ANC turned on, the charging case can last up to 35 hours which means you can fully charge the case and the earbuds after you use them for a long period of time, charging both the earphones and the charging case takes about 1 hour before it’s fully charged via the USB-C at the rear, a small charging cable is included.

To operate the buds using the touch sensitive round section….

1 Touch on either earbud — Play/ Pause/ Answer Call
2 Touch on left — Previous Track
2 Touch on Right — Next Track
3 Clicks on Right Earbud — Volume down
3 Clicks on Left Earbud — Volume up
Hold for 2 seconds on either bud — Reject / Answer Call or ANC off/on/enhanced

The touch settings are supper responsive and a feedback tone/voice activates when using, I would have preferred a voice feedback for the ANC mode as its hard to know what one is in use….
The active noise cancelling is okay and the difference can be noticed once it’s turned off but it’s pretty average, the environmental effects are very effective though but the ANC could be a bit stronger.

The whole case and bud weight is 46g and the case is very transportable so you hardly know it’s on you.

Overall, a great pair of ANC earbuds with punchy base and crisp trebles but the average ANC and lack of app control just falls short of 5 stars for me but is very close, thank you.

When it comes to earbuds, there’s a hugeeeeeeee selection available on Amazon and it’s hard to know which to pick. For under 100, these seem like a fair choice and I’ll give you a review on: sound, comfort/looks and features to let you know why I feel that way.

Sound: So, for the price range, the sound on these is great. I’ve tried all kinds of music and everything I threw at them was sharp and crisp. Unlike some earbuds, they didn’t have that synthetic powerful, bass-like sound, but instead music felt very authentic and all the levels were easily distinguishable and where I’d like and expect them to be. Voices were very clear and separated themselves seamlessly from the music. Even challenging music such as dance or rock performed very well. In addition to music, I ran some movies and video games through them along with some podcasts and found they all performed great! Explosions on Call of Duty through to fight scenes on Avengers to interviews on the Joe Rogan podcast were all enjoyable.

Comfort/looks: The earbuds are not the smallest I’ve seen or the prettiest, but they fit well in your ears and are comfortable. Cheaper earbuds, such as these, tend to have that ‘boxy’ look to them – I’d assume due to having to use slightly less expensive and larger parts compared to, for example, the Apple Airpods. Still, they aren’t ugly or large and do a good job of sitting comfortably in your ears. The outer box grips onto the inner part of your ear, to help hold them in. This box, unlike some brands I’ve used is well-rounded (rather than square), which helps with both the comfort and looks.

Within a few moments of putting them in, I’d forget they are there and looking in the mirror they aren’t too noticeable. To make sure you get the best possible fit, Studio have included 4 sets of ear tips from small to large to ensure they fit snug in your ear.

Features: ANC on under 100 headphones is never going to be industry leading, but what you get here is very good. To turn it on you hold your finger on the left bud for about 2 seconds and you will hear a chime letting you know it’s on (you do the same to turn it off). It does a good job of shutting out the outside world, using the built-in microphones to judge the amount of background noise it needs to cover. However, it certainly doesn’t block out ‘everything’ and I found most things were still detectable if I listened closely, but certainly reduced significantly.

The touch controls are nice and easy to use. Simple gestures such as 3 quick taps to adjust volume or a single tap to pause/play make them easy to use and learn. The instruction manual goes over how to use them all and I found them the perfect sensitivity.

The battery life is great at up to 35 hours (although this does drop a bit if using the ANC). To get the full 35 hours you will want to charge the earbuds in the case with the included USB C cable. The earbuds will then have 7.5 hours of charge in them and each time you finish using them, you simply drop them into the case and they will automatically charge back up until the whole 35 hours is used up. With just a 10 minute charge of the case, you’ll get 2 hours from them – which is great if you’re about to leave somewhere and realise you didn’t charge your case.

Connection is fantastic. I was able to walk about large rooms and the gym (with my phone in my bag) without any distortion or connection-loss. Setup was similarly seamless, I just took them out of the case and went into the bluetooth settings on my phone and they were listed ready to pair. There is even a little voice telling you to do this the first time you pull the headphones out of the box.

There’s no app included, which is a shame as it means you can’t play around with sound profiles. However, this disappointment is lessened slightly by the fact I think they are well ‘tuned’ (to my tastes at least) by default.

Overall, these may not be the smallest or prettiest headphones I’ve ever seen, but they are nice enough and offer you a great, comfortable listening experience with good active noise cancellation.

    Comfortable, good sounding headphones

The Sudio T2 Earbuds are aiming at being the creme de la creme for these small in-ear devices which, personally, I love. I have a few different ones, from the bargain basement Chinese X11s to, well, these which are easily the most expensive I possess.

The T2 buds are entirely in-ear buds – there is no over-ear loop, they do not have bits that dangle down – but there is no fear of them falling out. They stay solidly in the ear. I ran a 5k with them in and they didn’t budge. And they are very comfortable and if you have a small or large ear there is a range of different sized “eartips”.

The two buds link to each other by bluetooth and the paid then link to the device by the same method – and this works very well. The buds actually talk you through the connection, which is quite neat.

When connected the stereo is pretty good and apparently includes sound cancelling technology. I say apparently because … it’s not great. The “ANC” is turned on by touching either bud for two seconds, at which point there is a noise and… well, there isn’t that much difference. I turned the ANC on and off and I think I worked out what “on” was, but the best that can be said for the difference is that it’s … subtle. I have another older set of in-ear wireless headphones where noise cancellation and, frankly, they leave the T2’s ANC for dead. If you are hoping that the T2 will – for example – cancel out the TV then you will be severely disappointed. Which is why this loses a star.

Various combinations of taps will also pause, turn the sound up or down, or jump forward or back a track. To have all three built in is great. It takes a bit of getting used to as if you get the timings of your taps wrong you will jump forward instead of turning up the volume, or make the playback pause, but that is just a question of practice and given that there are very few buds that include volume and rewind alongside pause its very hard to quibble on this.

Finally the buds work can be used to answer the phone and talk hands-free.

Finally I ordered the sand coloured buds and to be honest they are much more pink than “sand”.

Overall if the buds had not made such a big thing about their unimpressive noise cancellation I’d be giving a five star, but it’s hard to do that when the big selling point is so disappointing. But everything else about these buds is impressive.

Based in Sweden, Sudio makes a range of earbuds and headphones of which the T2 is the latest model. I unpacked the smart box to find a small pebble-style charging case containing two elegant earbuds, which fit your ear with a simple push and slight twist. You also get a generous set of three additional sizes of silicone earsleeves and a short USB-C charging cable. Oh yes, and a leaflet with perplexing diagrams, at least when it comes to the automatic noise cancelling (ANC) functions.

Operation is not hard to figure out though; the earbuds are in pairing mode automatically when removed from the case and a voice instruction asks you to pair them in your device. One caution though: what seems to happen initially is that two devices called Sudio T2 BLE show up. Do not connect to them! After a while a single Sudio T2 headphone device appears, and that is the one with which to pair, otherwise it does not work.

I felt these earbuds were promising from a sonic point of view, with 8mm drivers (larger than average) as well as the ANC functions. In fact, while OK, the audio is the weakest aspect of them. Of course this is a matter of taste. What I noticed is that the bass is exceptionally well extended. I got an impressive thrum from Death of a Bachelor by Panic at the Disco, for example, and deep percussion on Taylor Swift’s Wildest Dreams. The vocals though were not so good, sounding somehow more distant than usual, which I think is a sign of a slightly recessed mid-range. Treble is fine though not exceptional.

Despite talk of “immersive sound” in the blurb for these earbuds, they don’t seem to be designed with the very best sound quality in mind. A sign of that is the only codec advertised as supported is SBC, the most basic of Bluetooth codecs. That said, they sound fine, great if deep bass is your priority, and still enjoyable for the rest of us.

Sudio says it has worked hard on the microphones, with dual microphones in each earbud and active processing to optimize voice clarity and reduce background noise on calls. I think there is something in it. My voice seemed very clear in a Zoom conference for example.

Controls are the touchpad type, not my favourite. It is the usual thing of multiple permutations, such as touch once for pause, twice for forward (right earbud) or back (left earbud); three taps for volume control. Nice to have the functions but fiddly and easy to get wrong. Press and hold for 2 seconds to cycle through the ANC modes, which are off, on, and transparent, the last of these aimed to let in external sounds for awareness of what is going on around you. It is somewhat effective but I’ve heard much better earbuds for ANC. One simple test I use is how loud are the computer servers in my office when the full ANC is engaged, and the answer in this case is that they are still easily audible.

I am willing to cut these earbuds a bit of slack though for the good performance on calls, and the fact that they look good and are comfortable to wear. They also tend not to fall out; I did my regular run while wearing them and they stayed securely in place, unlike many other sets I have tried. Battery life is a decent 7.5 hours or 35 hours with recharges in the case.

Conclusion: I like most things about these earbuds other than the rather ordinary sound and ANC. Design, comfort, and voice performance is very good.
