Step 1.
Remove the back plate from the lamp, and then you will get the bracket.
Step 2.
Fix the plate onto the ceiling wall by screws(as provided)
Step 3.
Connect the power cord to the cable clip, where the L is the fire wire and the N is the zero line.
Step 4.
Rotate the lamp clockwise and install onto base plate, then finish installation.

Nice and bright looks great and its just what I wanted
Gorgeous light lights up our new loo with seldom natural light. Its flush to the ceiling so no one bashes their head on it. Lovely to clean, no dust build up either!! Only thing is you have to remove it to paint the ceiling.

As you can see it is very bright. We have installed it in our bathroom. A little awkward to install, but that is because of the wire’s from our old light. It’s made of plastic, it doesn’t look like much but it kicks off some serious light. Hopefully it will last along time. I would recommend.

It’s bright and very smart, would 100% recommend. We didn’t install the fitting ourselves, we got our bathroom fitter to do it for us, he did say it was alittle fiddly.
This light is used in my bathroom which is 5×8 foot, very bright and really good overall, instalation was a pain and would recommend professional fitting if your not competent with electrics

eally like these, but beware they are awkward if the surface is not flat and you need to rotate the light onto the base, so need a bit of clearance around it. i put one in our conservatory and it is fantastic, but bought another to try in a couple of other rooms and found that because of the lower ceiling height, and the light being flat,the light does not radiate well, pity

Received the light yesterday and it took all off 10 minutes to install, no screws required for the wires with install clips (nice touch). Very light (yes plastic) but we knew that and fully enclosed. Bright during the day and night. Well worth the money and would highly recommend
Great value and if you want light these give it, I have 2 in my new bathroom and so bright in the bath I have to put mirror light on; would but again for any room they would suit in the future. I had electricians install but they said straight forward so believe I could have done if not having bathroom done so all in the job.

Brought for my bathroom and after seeing how bright it was – like daylight. Brought another for the kitchen. It’s a simple sleek design so goes unnoticed on the ceiling which is what we were looking for. Really pleased and don’t think I’ll need to install spot lights now, which was the original plan! With the installation, it was simple enough in the bathroom but think there was a bit of fiddling about for the kitchen installation. I’d love to tell you what was the issue, but my husband did it and I wasn’t listening to what he said! Sorry

Great value ! Purchased for our Bathroom. Gives a great light in the room. Puzzled that other purchasers said it was difficult to install. My husband did it with no problems whatsoever- and he is no expert ! Will be ordering again for our Utility Room.
Fine for a Kitchen, but perhaps a little too harsh and unflattering for use in a Bathroom?
It’s IP44 rating means it will withstand low pressure water droplets falling on it, which when mounted on a Kitchen ceiling, (or Bathroom), it is unlikely, (Unless you do something in the Kitchen that I don’t?).
It cannot defy the laws of electromagnetic radiation, (light!) however, and if you cast a shadow over your workspace in your kitchen, because of the position of your existing light fitting, there will still be some shadow, however, for me, the shadow is greatly reduced.
It is very easy to install, (without having to resort to secondary connecting blocks), the sprung, press action connectors included, secure your wires absolutely securely.
For those commenters that mention that it has no earth connection the casing, the body, the frame and the lens, are all plastic. It doesn’t need to be earthed, as other than fixing the wiring in place, (for which hopefully you turned the electricity off), there is nothing that you can touch that will conduct electricity.
I will say that after fixing the ceiling mounted plate on the ceiling, fastening the light fitting to the fixing plate wasn’t exactly easy to do with only one pair of hands, but it wasn’t impossible.
Also, I wanted to secure the fixing plate to a ceiling joist, with two of the screws (It’s fixed with three screws in total), which meant my light is not square to the room. A fixing template is supplied, but making sure the light fitting was securely fixed to a lath and plaster ceiling, was more important to me.
Can’t say the connections were up to much I changed them for something better. However it was an easy install.

Really impressed with this light. A bit of a mare to fit but hook on inside to hang while doing the wires was most helpful. A nice lighting vibe for a bathroom. Would buy again.
Alignment instructions, as supplied, are incorrect, misleading and time consuming. Very tight space provided for electrical connection(s). Connection may be very difficult and tricky especially if ‘connectors’ have to be used. Otherwise the light finally ‘in situ’ is as advertised.
I was unsure when I ordered this but once it was installed I LOVE it! It gives off a good light and doesn’t bulk out from the ceiling. I have lots of good comments from friends and family. Highly recommend

Brilliant very happy with this light and very bright but most of all very easy to fit I brought it for my bathroom which I’m in the middle of decorating…i read in the reviews that an electrician of 30 years found it hard to fit and had put it in the bin which made me sceptical about buying..but I’m not an electrician just your average DIY’er and found it easy to fit .. overall very happy with it…

This is a very good product overall, it looks good, and produces a very bright light. However, as other reviewers have observed, it is definitely not easy to install. This is especially true in any ceiling where it is intended to replace a lamp attached to a ceiling rose. The instructions assume that you will only be dealing with two wires coming from the ceiling, if this is the case everything is relatively straightforward. If there are more than two, as is the case if you’re replacing a light served by a ceiling rose, you need to be able to deal with the extra wires correctly, or leave installation to a professional. It’s also not that easy to attach the base to the ceiling such that the light is aligned correctly. Once installed, however, it’s really good.

Replaces bathroom ceiling light, simple enough to wire and attach. If you have a lot of wires to connect you may want to place a junction box in the cavity as there is not a lot of room (it is super-thin).
Wanted a replacement foe a dated 3 spot centre light. Does the job very well, good spread of light all over kitchen. Just what we wanted, not warm white but not harsh white either. Very good for domestic use.

Love this light. It is so elegant and yet cool and really lights up my bathroom
The light is good and adequate for our fairly large (3m x4m) bathroom.
Electrical connection is easy with the supplied connectors that you just put your mains wire into and clamp down.
The only fault is the final stage of trying to get the light into position onto the bracket on the ceiling. Could have been engineered to be much easier but was very fiddly.

Not sure why some people mainly tradesmen found this difficult to install or line up I just made a template
Biggest downside is installation – the light is square so, in theory, can be aligned with ceiling, but as base that fits to ceiling is round it is very difficult to fix this in the right position to keep the visible part of the light square. I cheated and glued everything in correct position so hope the LED’s never need changing.
Of course, round lights would avoid the problem.
The issues I had with instillation was partly the wiring issues with my house (More Wires Than Episodes On The Series On Sky 1) and secondly the connection blocks.
Because of the wiring within my house, the pinch connectors where next to useless, I found that as I also have the earth wire within my house I needed and extra connector so I dismantled the fitted connectors and used my own 3 point connection block, trouble was that the covers for the screws meant that their was no room for the block, covers removed and wired correctly and is now in place and looking great.
Overall, some issues with fitting but being a veteran, my mentality is that I don’t have problems, I have solutions and that was found. Packaging and the quality of the product is well worth the 20 so I’d give them a 7/10, lose the pinch connectors and you’ve got a winner guys.
