After some adjusting ( we put the camera’s too close to the wall) I am quite happy with them.
2 weeks after installing these, someone came onto our property and stole from us. If we didn’t have the footage to track down our possessions then we would have never got it back. Best decision we made to buy these.
I bought 2 new HD Swann Camera’s and I find them Cristal clear and easy to adjust. Money well spent!
Easy to setup, good picture quality.
I did not have the router close by so instead I used a bridge to enable wifi access (link below). I can now use the Swann app to monitor remotely.

Wireless is easy but hackable hard wired is still the best you cant go wrong with this system. I am ruining a 16 camera system with no problem .the HD Time shocked the hell out of me if set to motion detection rec HD will last 99 years b4 it full
I have set the system up and it was easy to set up and connect together, however if you are like me and like your cables hidden now that’s the hard part. I have had the system 2 days so far and will update my review done the line when I have had it longer but for now I think it’s a great system.
Bonjour,
I am struggling with the night vision aspect particularly the cameras near a light coloured wall (Bath stone)
There are better products out there but they are more expensive and want you to subscribe .
You fit them your self, easy enough set up your phone and that’s it.Great produc
Very good picture quality and easy to set up. Like the fact you can chose to have red and blue flashing light on or off plus a very bright pencil spotlight beam as well went the camera’s are triggered.
An excellent product. This was a replacement for a damaged one in situ. Quality product.
Great day and night vision, easy to set up and great value for money
Got these for my Dad. There is certainly a visible increase in picture quality on the 720p version he had before. Good price also.
This camera set has been a god send for my mum who lives alone not only she but we can keep a watch on her from my house
Not yet set up… extra items needed to set up like a 15 pin monitor cable, as much catt 5e as you need to get from your router to your box
I love this product the night vision is great cameras are clear nothing to dislike
If you’re buying these for a specific box that you already have then fine, thats exactly what they are for.
But as a new kit for a new installation they are kind of a bit of a decade out of date technologically really. They are old analogue format with a fairly low resolution.
The flashing lights is a bit of a gimmick and I dont really see the point.
The night vision is actually pretty good for this kind of camera, although obviously no active IR so you need some light, but not much.
Overall I think a decent buy as additional cameras but if you’re in the market for a new kit, true IP cameras have so many advantages.
Although cameras are fitted with a night light,I can’t make these work.
Wires are a bit flimsy/easily get damaged but otherwise it’s a good value for money produc
Great cameras and DVR. Took help from support to find some menu functions, and they were great. Perfect response to my question.
I couldn’t be happier,it’s just what I’ve been looking for. No WiFi cameras to be jammed. No massive data uploads to a cloud server eating up my data plan.
On my phone I see what I need to see, nothing I don’t.
Had to replace an older Swann setup. This fit the bill
It does not come with a remote control or video outputs to connect an additional monitor.
I bought this for a friend and they paid someone 90 to install and there very happy with i
Found them easy to install easy to operate and fantastic coverage pictures are pin point clear colourful
Works right out of the box. All compontents were there and worked. Easy setup and programming except pulling wire in the attic. Would have given 5 stars, but the manual which was not included, explains what is what, but not how to accomplish it. Trial and error, but really simple to accomplish.
This is my 2nd system for my 2nd house. The 1st one is still going strong.
We are in the middle of installation and will let you know when completed Thank you
They do what it says on the tin but the following observations may be useful.
Colour is achieved by the camera having an inbuilt spotlight. This is bright, but obviously limited.
If you are using the cameras where there is some ambient light, a street lamp in my case, they work well, colour picture and as much coverage as with my old IR emitting cameras.
Also, if you are covering a small enclosed area, the light produced is sufficient to give effective night vision in colour.
BUT, if there is pitch black, and you are trying to cover a bigger area the camera is limited. I changed cameras back to my older cameras to regain coverage.
Also, if you are looking for a discrete camera in the dark, forget it – the automatic spotlight advertises the presence of the camera to all and sundry – (which, of course, you may desire!)
I am yet to be able to measure the longevity of the night light.

Very good product and does exactly what is described and also very good App and mobile friendly
I use the Swann CCTV System to cover my various animal enclosures, as there is a fair bit of wildlife where I live, and my pet parrots were getting attacked by pine martens it transpires. The cameras are effective but because of the amount of rain we get in the Highlands of Scotland, they are definitely not waterproof. Two cameras had to be returned and one of the replacement cameras stopped working and I didn’t want to complain again, so I got my friend who is an electronic engineer to strip it down and it was completely corroded inside!! We cleaned it up (vodka, not that I am recommending, better if it is 100% alcohol lol ) and managed to get it going again, but this time we have sealed round the joint and the remaining cameras too, with insulating tape, so I would strongly recommend that if they are outside, you do this from the onset. Better still, if you can shelter them a wee bit. They are otherwise, good cameras, just not as waterproof as described.
Didn’t find it hard to set up . Dsy csmrra is excellent . I have them in my shop . There’s no lights left on at the shop and the cameras are fine at night , often go on my app in the phone and look , even though it notifies you of each motion . The red and blue lights work ..
it’s all good , surprised at the negative comments
Love this product, feel safe in my home, only issue I have is the night time light, we can’t switch it off so my house and car are lit up..
Easy to install and setup. Very pleased with product, it’s the second one I’ve bought. Only gripe is time it takes for app to load but think that’s the same across the board. With hindsight should of got the 4K version to see number plates and faces better.
We was very happy with it. Well worth the money!!
Having read some quite negative comments about the capability of this system I nearly didn’t buy it, especially the comments about the night vision.
However I’ve found the infra-red night vision to be excellent with zero ambient light provided YOU USE THE CORRECT SETTINGS!
Having installed the system (relatively simple just as long as you can get the cables out the house) I followed the idiot proof instructions and had it up and running inside a few hours.
There is a fair bit of fine tuning to do once everything is in place to suit your own requirements, and I think it’s here that some people are finding problems.
The full colour night setting does require the led lamp to be permanently on at night, and to be honest I don’t think it’s worth it.
With this setting turned off the infrared night vision becomes active when ambient light drops and this gives a much clearer picture.
I have included three photos with this review.
1) IR night vision in complete darkness.
2) Colour vision with led in complete darkness.
3) Vision without either, to show how dark it is.
All in all I’m very happy with the product and the DVR functionality, the phone app has it’s faults and limitations but that’s a different matter.

Tried many looked at hundreds to compare and Swann out does all the others in nearly all ways. Color night vision/perfect picture day &night flood lights on cameras do a good job so dries the police lights, very affective. Smart looking cameras easy to use system with 1tb drive absolute bargain and it’s a Swann I am sticking with buying more Swann security gear.
Very clear cameras. Bought as replacements for older cameras. Night vision, sheerness and overall image quality is brilliant. Great value for money purchase.
My older swan box harddrive would not work anymore so I bought a new system with new cameras , so it was easy for me to disconnect the old camers and install the new one’s , so much better picture and with the heat sense and tracking this is so much better than my older model and the night cameras are far much better and the app works grea
I had this for about some time now more than 5 months i don’t experience any problems cameras strong and sturdy the only thing that I noticed is that if the camera is at a high point it gets foggy at nigh
Very easy to replace from older version. Very clear and night vision a bonus. Will probably swap others.
4 Stars
Model — Swann CCTV , 8 Channel 1080p 1TB DVR-4680 with 4 x Pro1080SL cameras.
This camera was a free sample sent out for review. The review has to be competed within 30 days so longevity is hard to asses.
I’ve recently had a few IP cameras to test from other manufacturers. One of the big plus points of this system is that I was able to get non Swann IP cameras to record on this DVR.
This feature is glossed over in the manual and Swann tech support were hopeless when I tried to investigate this ability. I don’t understand why the system doesn’t come with this feature (XVR mode) enabled. Once I unlocked the ability to have 4 extra channels with IP cameras this became a much better system, but not perfect. For simplicity there is a scan function and if your other cameras are on the same network (wired or Wi-Fi ) with ONIVF then they appear and you can assign them to the 4 extra channels.
I’ve not been able to get the IP camera channels to appear on the Swann App as it only shows the first 8 (wired) channels but I’ll continue to try an figure that out. Given that I can access all of the IP cameras on another app that’s not really a problem.
It also appears that the (video to cloud) Dropbox upload feature is only available for the first 8 (wired) record channels. I already pay for dropbox so this is fine for me as I get 2 TB of storage. The free dropbox only provides 2 gig of storage which may not be enough for all users.
I expect that Swann IP cameras are compatible with the recorder but the website doesn’t provide any info on that. You can add and view Swann branded IP cameras within the APP directly but then you won’t be able to record them if they’re not registered on the DVR.
This Swann does successfully record all wired / IP channels . I hoping that with future updates the IP camera functionality will be improved.
The DVR unit is the size of a small DVD player and operates quietly, bit not silently. If I was to replace the HDD with an SSD it would be silent. It can output at up to 4K resolution which is useful. The unit itself will only record at the max resolution of the cameras.
Setting up email notifications was tricky. I tried using my g-mail as the mail server but g-mail wasn’t happy about the DVR logging into my account. In the end I used a mail server from 123.reg webmail which I use for work. That worked without issue once I added the SMTP server / User name and password.
The App will notify you of triggers / alarms etc so email isn’t essential, though it is advised as an easier way to recover your password if forgotten.
The wired cameras come with apx 20 m of cable per camera each.
The DVR recorder is simple to use and the instructions are comprehensive. You can set schedules, notifications, playback etc.. all from here.
I was able to get RTSP streaming working so I could use VLC player to view the stream from individual cameras on a desktop. You can only stream one at a time but it’s a neat feature.
You can buy a WI-FI antenna for the unit to connect to your network but I just used a Cat5e cable direct to the router.
It can control cameras with PTZ (Pan / Tilt / Zoom) mode. Great for servo controlled cameras.
The supplied cameras ( PRO-1080SL) are quite small. They be adjusted vertically up/down and rotated — This means you can adjust it’s horizontal plane by undoing a couple of screws and twisting it.
The image can be adjusted for each wired camera — Hue, Brightness , Contrast , Saturation. These can’t be adjusted on the IP cameras via the DVR but can be changed in their own apps where it’s an option.
They use an LED light to illuminate at night rather than InfraRed sensors. This means you get colour in darkness but in reality the LEDS on these cameras are not bright enough. Its bright enough to illuminates a doorway but it won’t provide full garden coverage.
The daytime footage is clear but not exceptional. Given that these are only 1080p cameras it isn’t that surprising. 2k or 4k will provide a better image.
When viewing on the Swann APP the wired cameras can be viewed In full screen mode. From the App you can also activate the LED night light and the Red/Blue flashing lights.
The red/blue lights are triggered as an Alarm function but this feature needs to be activated in the Alarm settings on the DVR.
These particular Cameras don’t come with a siren function so when triggered the only alarm you get is via the App or the DVR box – neither of which are very loud.
I managed to get test record footage to playback via the App but if that failed I could look via Dropbox App.
Good –
1 TB DVR recorder.
Solid construction and long cables for adjustable cameras.
Weather proof cameras ( but no official IP rating obviously provided)
Swann has a support forum and webchat customer service.
Works with Alexa and Google home
App user friendly
Records to a DVR and uploads to Dropbox
Can use IP cameras but with limited functionallity
Bad –
The cameras don’t have weather proof boots to cover the BNC connectors or power connectors so that part of the cable will need to be behind a mounting wall or in a box.
Only 1080p record resolution on supplied cameras so picture is OK but not amazing
Red/Blue lights don’t automatically illuminate on Alarm trigger
No mics or sounders on the cameras.
No instructions on attaching IP cameras.
Couldn’t get the App to playback recorded footage so I would go into dropbox App to do this.
LEDS on supplied cameras not bright enough.
Only 1080p resolution.
These two cameras were easy to add to my existing Swann DVR system – instead of 4, I now have 6. The potential benefit of getting an extra two is wider exposure covering blind spots – so viewing a specific area from different angles. The main issue is that these cameras do not have infrared built in and so rely on an external light source to provide good night vision. Having two extra means that it might be better at picking up night footage from an angle not covered by the main cameras. Given the price of these cameras and their DVR system I’m not entirely happy with the fact that they lack infrared. I suppose this is one way (costly) of mitigating this shortcoming on Swann’s end. The build quality is excellent as expected, but the functionality at night needs improvements.
Bear in mind these two cameras come without a DVR – so unless you have an existing DVR system (whether from Swann or a compatible one) these two cameras are pretty much useless.

Excellent value for money, really good clear pictures in night visio
System lasted less than 14 months before problems and there customer service is very unhelpful i would not recommend buying swann products as there warranty means nothing all they seem to worry about is profits
Very good cctv system pritty easy to install and very good quality picturs
I have installed a number of CCTV systems for friends and family and with IP cameras becoming widely available I had assumed these analogue systems wouldn’t be able to keep up in quality or features. However, after getting the opportunity to try this kit I would say they are definitely worth considering. I will cover as much as I can in my review based on this system compared to professional and home based IP and network video cameras.
Firstly this comes in a kit with almost everything you need, just select between 1080p and 4K and how many cameras you need. I have the 1080p version with 4 cameras and you can buy additional cameras to add up to 8. I say it has almost everything because you will need a hdmi tv or vga monitor to plug into the DVR. But it comes with everything else including 4x 18m extension cables for the cameras and a hdmi and network cable to connect it to a tv. Set up is really easy, just plug it all in and connect the 4 cameras to the box. Then follow the setup on the screen to set an account password and email to prevent anyone from tampering with the system. You can also download the phone app and link the device by scanning the QR. code on the box. It’s all very easy and comes preconfigured to record each camera when motion is detected, so most people can just plug and play.
The cameras are a reasonable size, big enough to be a visible deterrent but not too big to limit your install options, they are very light and easy to adjust. I would say they are well built but not vandal resistant as they are plastic, so best placed somewhere high. Once positioned the screws hold them very tight. They can be wall or ceiling mounted and come with raw plugs and screws. The cameras have a PIR sensor which is much better at picking up movement than traditional cameras and in the settings you can choose between the camera detection, pir detection or both. In my testing it worked really well up to about 5m. Using just the pir means that swaying trees and spiders won’t trigger the record which is great in my opinion, just note that a PIR doesn’t work through glass, so you can’t install these pointing through a window. You also have a white light and blue and red lights. For night mode to work the white led will automatically come on and adjust to give you a good picture. In my opinion the night mode works extremely well but you can’t disable the white light and it has no infrared lights which is such a shame. I’d have preferred the lights were disabled unless it detected motion.
You do get the option to enable the white and/or flashing red and blue lights when it detects motion and this can be done for each camera and a time set for them to stay on. I’m glad this can be disabled because it’s a nice feature but I won’t be using it.
The quality of the cameras is exceptional for an analogue system. I will include some images and I will follow up with more once I get the system installed. You can recognise faces up to 5m away and the colour representation during the day is good, it says colour at night, but it’s very desaturated.
The app adds a lot of functionality to make this more like a network camera system. You can see live streams from anywhere in the world and the cameras load quickly. You can even access recordings on the app and it notes what triggered the recording so you can see when it’s motion. You also get push notifications for motion and errors which can be customised for when you’re home, asleep and away. You can’t configure everything from the app though so you will need access to the DVR box to adjust record schedules and quality settings.
Th DVR works very well, it has a simple but easy to use interface, you click a camera to enlarge it and can zoom in further. You can also control the quality, schedule and motion detection for each camera. The 1TB hard drive can record about 500 hours of footage apparently which is excellent, it uses H.265 which is the latest codec to maximise quality and storage space.
Compared to an IP CCTV system this is easier to install and maintain, it’s much cheaper with a similar quality and still has all the smart features to access it from anywhere. You can record up to 8 cameras if you buy more, although I don’t know if you have to use the enforcer cameras. I would assume any will work. Although an ip system can be more flexible, this pack is simple and easy. I would recommend this for anyone who wants the best quality in a budget and they need a simple install. 1080 is a great quality for finding a balance between quality and storage space, having 4K is a good step up but requires considerably more storage.
Hopefully my review has been helpful
When I took this item to review I hadn’t realised that these were just add on cameras rather than a full cctv set up. These enforcer security cameras need to be added to a compatible dvr.
I will be purchasing a starter system soon so I will update my review once I have tested properly.
It’s been an expensive month having to fork out for a home security system, however recent events in the neighbourhood have had ourselves and a couple of neighbours install these.
As pricey as it is ends up being, (remember you also need to either buy installation tools, cables, a simple TV monitor, maybe floodlights etc), it is worth it in the end.
The picture quality is great, even the night vision. We don’t need a flood light at the front because of a street lamp, only for the back.
The pictures I’ve added are from the phone app. You can see from the front garden how much it captures either side of the front garden, which is enough for us. One of our neighbours has a rotating camera which they can control from their phone.
You can set up email notifications. I’m still playing around with the sensor sensitivity levels as it picks up strong winds too I get email notifications and watch the recording to see a gust of wind so I just need to drop it down a level but that’s all in the back end set up which you can do.

Not long had this system since March 2020 and one of the cameras has left in water and is now not working
These cameras are very good for day time monitoring with good picture quality, and the lights can be disabled or enabled too depending on whether you want them on or not which is great. Night vision is up to 10m with external lights on – glad I got these for my house
Very very easy to install and very user friendly, the equipment is a good elegant design and image quality is excellent. Very good value for money.
Much better than old system and so easy to install
Don’t like that it doesn’t allow you to set up separate alerts for each camera, overall nice quality and good picture
The app you have to use on your phone is very erratic
I have a big issue with automatic recording on some of the channels. I mentioned this to SWANN company, but I don’t think that it has been resolved. Channel 4 had to be put on manual recording.
Very easy to install and work very well, good clear pictures and warnings if you want them.
Easy enough to fit and run the 10 meter cables, only had to extend 2 which was good. Good picture and sensor operatio
Very good overall.
Even better if a manual came with it and the menu of the system was easier to navigate
Easy to install and protects your property. Great image day and night. Comes with lots of storage.
To replace a previous Swann cctv kit, which I had for some years and was happy with, unfortunately electronic items don’t last forever.
Best you will buy, fitted hundred of these with no issues at all
This product is very clear at night and has amazing photography of people walking by or an object moving. The only thing that I would like in the cameras is the integration of a mic that can record sound instead of buying a separate appliance.
Excellent product cheap compare to other competitor I still have the brunt it does the job perfectly
Easy to install and work great. Night vision isn’t perfect but are better then many others.
****7 MONTH UPDATE**** SYSTEM STILL WORKS GOOD, BUT THE DVR IS VERY NOISY. I HAVE MOVED THE DVR INTO THE ATTIC AND BOUGHT A 5METRE HDMI CABLE AND USB EXTENDER SO I CAN CONNECT THE MOUSE AND TV FROM THE LIVING ROOM***
i have these installed a week now. very good picture quality. and good night vision too.
have the DVR connected to my tv. installation is as easy or as hard as you want it to be. i ran all the cables through the attic and down a spare conduit in the wall, and out to the camera through holes i drilled in the walls, and mounted the cameras over the holes so no wires are exposed anywhere..
there is alot of cable to contend with and you need 2 power sources to run the system, one for the cameras and one for the DVR, so keep that in mind.i seperated the power for the cameras and powered them from a socket in the attic so i only have the 4 cables for the camera signal coming down to the back of my tv area.
One of the easiest CCTV systems to install. Good app for your phone to view from anywhere. Good value system.
Best purchase ive made all year! Great security system, good clear picture, night vision is pretty decent, would definitely reccomend.
Great cameras and a great quality video when looking at the footage from a TV.
The quality of the app however leaves something to be desired but still very useful to have.
I have rated this as easy to install as if you are not OCD about visible wires etc this is a very easy kit to install. If like me you want to hide all wires and place this at 4 points under the eaves of a 2 storey house then this will take some amount of heartache!
I spent a good amount of time planning my install. The most important thing is where to put your DVR box. Once you know that you can decide on the distance from the box to each camera and make sure you have enough wire from dvr to the camera. You can also ensure that you can get an ethernet cable to the box(if you want remote access from a phone/pc).
You will need some DIY expertise to run wires cleanly and safely if routing through an attic space/eaves etc. I added a wired ethernet connection from the ground floor to the first floor of my house but a powerline adaptor could be used for this.
You will need some technical expertise to open ports and forward external connections to your DVR IP address on your internet router if you want remote access. Generic information on doing this is available in the manual and online, but it is vital for access remotely.
Although quite a bit of expertise is needed to install this and get it operating as you require, it is a fantastic piece of kit and the required work was expected.
In terms of picture quality it is exactly as expected and required. The alarm notifications for certain areas of each camera picture work brilliantly, as does the motion and PIR detection.
One of my favourite things about this install is the fact that there is no third party involved in connection to your DVR remotely. As long as its powered on and online, you are connecting directly to this and not to a website that then connects to your dvr. Even if the support for this model is discontinued, the previous apps will always give you access to the dvr remotely. This is fantastic when compared to subscription based services that could change or discontinue products and deny access to old equipment.

I purchased this set because it allowed me to store recordings at home and yet log in from a computer or mobile phone. Other high profile camera systems require a monthly fee to store recordings in the cloud, I didn’t want this outgoing.
I’m still getting used to playback recordings and find it difficult to read number plates in our road outside my house, though if I find how to get the full size image on the screen (rather than freeze frame) it might be a better image. I got the set at 179 on an offer and was well pleased with this price for 4 cameras and 1tb of storage.
I’d like to be able to get it to pick up a cat by changing settings so I can see what our cat’s up to wne I’m away but it doesn’t give false triggers for small animals. Still happy with the purchase
Very easy to set up out of the box and working on my phone in about 1 hr , once I had installed and run cables for cameras etc that took me 8 hours but my house was a difficult installation because of being very old a modern house should be a piece of cake
good value for money, easy to install and set up. Simple efficient playback system
Delivery was very fast, box was properly sealed and everything was included that was described in the listing. Easy to set up, just make sure you have all the tools, drills, cable clips, sealant etc. Set up was simple and easy to follow instructions. Very pleased with the picture quality.
One of my cameras stopped working a week after i bought this. Swann customer support sucks sucks sucks.!! I called they asked for all sorts of info gave it to them and still weeks later nothing. No contact.
So easy to install and set up great picture quality, a good value for money cctv system, would definitely recommend this produc
Tube dudas al adquirirlo pero fue sencillo instalarlo y configurar ,recomiendo actualmente e puesto el de 4 cmaras pero pienso instalar otras despues.
it was very easy and it work almost automatic online and the bar code ,, wow very nice i was online with the free download of homesave view ,, better and faster than swannview plus,, thank you
First set of Swann’s and extremely pleased with performance and quality of images!
Brilliant picture
The app could do with upgrade of pic quality but works alrigh
I had the Swann cctv installed professionally and this was the system the installer recommended. (He had fitted the same system for my neighbour) It gives good image quality and can be viewed on my mobile phone and tablet using the home safe view app. Just add a wireless mouse to the box to save from having to do any configuration of the control box down by the television. The image quality on my tv is fine and it’s simple to find and play back any recorded footage.
Great value for money easy to install great pictures works with my other cameras
thanks
Already caught the person and have the crime number. What else to do to catch the little bugger and have satisfied actio
I love these cameras. My brother-n-law got them set up in an afternoon. They were pretty easy to figure out and install. The picture is clear. I love the playback option and the several screens that I can look at. I haven’t got the phone part set up yet nor have I needed to use technical support. But I did order another camera to add to this package. Great price.
I recommend these cameras for INDOOR USE ONLY! Quality is great at night and during the day. I bought them to monitor outside my house end up finding when you zoom in you can’t really make out license plates. So now I have to buy another system that has more megapixel 5 to 8 MP.
The CCTV is very easy to set up, with the added benefits of being able to black out certain areas of the images for privacy. remote access from the app on the phone is excelle
I’ve used Swann Camera Systems in my restaurants for almost 10 years. They are great and if you have any do it yourself bone in your body, it’s super easy to install. Great for the price and you can add cameras if you so wish.
Having searched around for months looking at reviews I decided on this system.
Its easy enough to install and setup. I’ve no previous experience with CCTV. Me and my good lady did it over the weekend!!!, and we installed the CCTV system aswell.
Really easy to install
Great cameras
fantastic picture quality
It’s got motion /heat detection on all cameras
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this item
Easy to set up and work great. I get love notifications on the app and I get pictures sent to email. Plus you can go back and watch anything that the cameras have picked up.
Works as expected. Cameras were easy to set up and add mobile app to phone and iPad. Highly recommend. This is my second camera system from Swann. I only upgraded for thermal capability. I will continue to use the Swann brand.
Having bought a cheaper inferior system that I had multiple issues with, I reluctantly opted for this one after sending back the old one (NOT FROM THIS MAKE OR COMPANY)
My reluctance turned to joy (once i’d gone through the pain or routing the cables where I wanted them).
The set up is pain free, clear instructions guide you through every step. As a bloke who rarely looks at instructions as I feel sometimes they make things over complicated, these were short and straight to the point. I would defy anyone to go wrong with this system.
The camera images are ok, by far not the best but better than most. positioning the cameras take a bit of fiddling because of the wide angle. TIP: I have white external walls, try to aim them as far from these as possible as the IR feature reflects the white and drowns out the image. The phone app worked straight away with no fuss, I view mine from work on 4g without problems.
Compared to the older system, these HD cameras make night time viewing as clear as day time viewing. Peace of mind that they are protecting you.
Very happy with the system. It performs very well, I xan configure to what I want, and is user friendly. Also easy set up.
Really easy to set up to your phone
and set the alarms.
Picture quality excelle
Swann make excellent cctv systems. My family all use them so after moving to a house I decided it was time to invest.
Really easy to set up the cameras and dvr set up. Love that you watch live and playback on a mobile app!
Fitting the cameras can be a little tricky depending how confident you are and where you are placing them etc. You will need drill bits, ladders and a route for the wires to run back to the box.
Screen resolution is great even in the dark. My road is extremely dark and once the street lights go out at 1am it’s pitch black. These cameras work perfectly in night vision and pick up faces well
Good clear picture would buy again if i needed anothe
Camera look good but the android app is terrible. Wont connect. Crashes all the time looking for a new app
Excellent system very impressed, would recommend buying junction boxes to conceal connections externally. Great pictures and very easy to use and restore images and footage
