A: This is a seamless installation and replacement for the Nintendo Switch docking station that came with the Switch device. Provides the same functionality and charging capabilities as the Nintendo Dock, except this one works!
2. Q: How does Switch TV docking work?
A: Right out of the box I noticed that it was lightweight which is great for portability, it has an HDMI port, a USB C port (for charging) and two USB ports. One cool thing is that it has a button to toggle between showing on the TV and changing the screen. One problem I had was putting the switch on the dock. There is the part of the dongle that goes into the USB port on the switch and a small raised part that fits into the slot on the back of the switch. Maybe it was the lighting, but it took me a few tries to line up the slot on the back of the switch with the part on the dock. There’s also a slight lag with the picture on the TV when engaging the switch, but it’s not too bad.
3. Q: What is the key point of the switcher docking station for television?
A: Obviously this is smaller and more portable than the Nintendo Switch Docking Station for TV, which is only two-fifths of Nintendo. And it is easy to carry everywhere. Such as outdoor activities, travel, etc.

A: It is a good product. It shows a concise appearance, which protects the Switch device from abrasion. Meanwhile, it is equipped with a smart chip system.

My official dock had become faulty, the picture would sporadically cut out and the audio started cackling too. I decided to take a risk buying a 3rd party product to save paying for the expensive official dock.
Needless to say I was a little apprehensive.
However, my mind was quickly put at ease. I used an official Switch power adapter and a 3rd party HDMI cable, and it worked instantly once I docked the Switch. And here’s the bonus ball…it even accepted the USB to ethernet adapter, to have a wired online connection. I really wasn’t expecting that at all.
The dock is tiny and could fit in my pocket. It is more open and the Switch could be knocked off if careless, so those with kids may want to consider that.
The official dock, to be blunt, is a massively inflated price because of the brand.

Well packaged and presented — this would make an ideal gift for friends or family with a Nintendo switch wanting to use on a second TV without disconnecting the main dock from main TV; or for travelling as this is smaller and lighter than the original dock.
Very easy set up but worth noting that it doesn’t come with power cable or HDMI cable. It’s also won’t work with the official doc power adapter. Instead it uses a USB C cable and a USB plug adapter (neither are provided).
Fits switch perfectly. It’s easy to seat and remove the Switch except for when you have thicker cases on to protect your Switch.
No material difference as compared to official docking station. Though it’s worth noting that we are using a decent HDMI cable.
We definitely recommend this switch docking station. It is far more portable than official docking station and ideal for travel. It’s an easy five stars for us the only thing we would’ve changed is that we would’ve liked a small storage pouch to have been included to protect it whilst travelling.

This has proved to be a good replacement to the original docking station we had that recently broke.
This is cheaper at the current price of 19.79, but performs all the same tasks to the same high standard.
Easy to set up and use and it’s doing a good job.
A great little 3rd party nintendo switch dock that is half the size of the original and is compact and great for travelling having multiple docks set up in different rooms in the house for ease of play, without spending a ton of money on having that ideal ready to play set up.
Whilst lightweight this is well built and sturdy, i’ve had no issues with it tipping over from the weight of the switch being placed into it and the overall quality is really good for the price.
It does require you to have a power cable for it already, but I just used my phone charger USB type-C and this worked great and had a strong enough power output to provide good quality video with no flickering or lag.
I do have both the original nintendo switch and the new OLED model in our household and i’ve definately found this to be best suited to the older model as it’s quite difficult to fit the newer model into this properly as it’s just too large and it makes it top heavy.
Because of this i’d recommend the dock for the older model only, hopefully they bring out something more upto date for the newer model in the future.

This works well in my Nintendo switch, it’s perfect for travelling because is small and lightweight, it’s value for money and looks durable
Good dock, seems well made.
Needs power from USB C which i used a standard phone charger and it worked just fine.
The switch is a little exposed as it kind of balances in the middle but that is a worthwhile trade off for the smaller size
This is a TV switch dock made especially for Nintendo Switch.
The device looks robust and solid. With this product, I can connect my Nintendo Switch to my TV.
I found this simple to use. It’s lightweight and smaller in size than my previous one plus easy to carry around.
Moreover, the dock has a port for charging. Also, keeps my Nintendo from short-circuiting and overheating.
Well-made and handy. HDMI cable and AC adapter are not included. Recommended and satisfied.
Which is RJ45 slot built in, this is ethernet cable and there is no slot for it, this means you have to buy a usb one to get it to work with this or suffer the rubbish internet speeds. That is the only problem I found.
The rest works fine, plug in switch I used it with O-LED Switch, plugged in hdmi in the docking station usb cable for power was easy to use has some usb slots too but no RJ45 ethernet slot, my favourite slot that is on the Switch OLED docking station but not this. It comes in handy though for switching rooms without moving every single thing from one to the next you can have it docked in another room so ready to just move the switch from one to the next should the need arise.
If you can find one with RJ45 slot I would recommend that one instead, I used this with my TV and didn’t notice any quality problems the visuals and sound are all there as far as I can tell.
This was a good replacement or extra docking station for the switch. It was useful for the switch console and the switch light.
This is great for on the go! If you are going to a hotel or for in a caravan, this little stand is perfect to hook up quickly to the TV. Nice and small for packing away. Only negative comment is that it didn’t come with spare cables so you do have to take the ones from your TV at home – unless you have spares.

– it’s difficult to fit Switch OLED onto it (with or without a case)
Smaller than the original, but seems to function just as well, and takes up less space so ideal for travelling. Use the original Nintendo power cord to make sure you provide enough power. It has two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port and a HDMI port for the TV/monitor. It has a switch on it that turns off the HDMI output. Works well and supports the Switch securely, whilst still being able to see the Switch screen.
A lot of these cheap switch docks don’t work properly, either only running at 720p or not allowing you to charge the switch without the official adapter.
I had none of these issues with this unit, it instantly switched to TV mode and checking the TV’s hidden menu it was running at 1080p@60Hz.
It allowed me to charge the switch using a basic USB C power supply and has loads of USC sockets as well to keep things charged.
Overall this is a fully working switch dock for a fraction of the price!
