Our dorm did not have an easy way to connect a VR headset to our gaming PC wirelessly. However, this cable worked perfectly and we were able to play PC VR games on my Oculus Quest 2. The computer detected the headset immediately and without issue, and having a longer cable is great for an extended play area.
Works great for my Quest2. It does lose about 25% charge per hour, but I’m not sure if the one from Oculus keeps the battery from draining during use either and it’s 1/4 the price. I think it’d be pretty difficult to run out of battery. Closest I’ve gotten is down to ~20% and I was dying to get my headset off after that long…
Genutzt habe ich das Kabel mit meiner Oculus/Meta Quest 2 und meinem Computer. Das Kabel ist mit seinen 5m Lnge absolut ausreichend. An der Bildqualitt der bertragung gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Durch den abgewinkelten USB-C Stecker und die Dicke des Kabels wirkt es sehr hochwertig. Das Kabel kann durch ein kleines Klettband komfortabel am Headset befestigt werden, wodurch weniger Belastung fr die USB-C-Buchse vermindert wird.
Fazit:
Das Kabel kann ich definitiv weiterempfehlen, es funktioniert super mit der der Oculus/Meta Quest 2. Auch die Datenbertragungsrate ist mehr als ausreichend. Gutes Produkt!
If you can’t completely upgrade your internet and router and tinker with your internet settings or buy a d link device for 100 dollars just to have a better but still not as good experience as linked by cable then this is defintely for you.

Il cavo nel complesso si presenta discretamente valido, anche nella qualit dei materiali,
provandolo non sembra abbia problemi di disconnessioni o bassa velocit di trasferimento, dunque niente lag o visuale sgranata/sfocata.
L’unico neo e che a primo impatto mi sembrato frutto di un reso di qualche altro cliente, senza dubbio il cavo funziona e non risulta danneggiato per quello che ho potuto constatare ma, sono indeciso se effettuare il reso/sostituzione.
Necesitaba un cable para jugar juegos PCVR, este viene perfecto.
Este cable es bastante bonito estticamente, y combina con el quest 2, no he tenido problemas con el cable, solo que ahora comenz a cargar un poco menos mientras juego, pero imagino que es constante movimiento que uno hace, pero considerando el precio es bastante bueno, la batera del quest dura unas 2 horas y media, y conectado duran como 6 a 7.
Recomendacin: si quieren jugar conectado al PC asegrense de desactivar el Airlink que impide conectarse por Rift (PC-Quest)
Il cavo robusto, spesso e tenace. Se questo vuol dire che impaccia lievemente quando inserito, tutto a beneficio della sicurezza del cavo e della sua longevit. Il PC l’ha riconosciuto subito e non ho ancora avuto nessun problema di collegamento
Was soll ich sagen, solange ich den Kopf still halte passt alles. Bisschen Bewegung und die Verbindung ist weg, wieder verbinden und das aller 5 min. Da kann man sichs auch sparen. Keine Empfehlung von mir.

Spent some time looking for an alternative to the Meta Quest link cable which is far too expensive in my opinion. Come across this cable which is a fraction of this price and so far I have had no issues with the cable. It is a good length which makes using it easy when walking around with the headset, it is also sturdy and I have not noticed any visible deterioration in the 6 months I have been using it. Would defiantly recommend this as an alternative to the official Quest link cable.

This is the fourth and best set of headphones that I have purchased. They function perfectly well and are
sturdier than the previous sets which in comparison were fragile. Good value for money and they look cool.
Now, let’s address the consistent reviews re speed — Motherboard USB ports are not all created equal! Only those tied directly to the chipset on the back of the board will offer the best performance, this cable passes with 2.4gbps on my USB on the back of my PC — it will fail in a lot of front usb ports (including mine on a Lian Li dynamic evo case) and can have issues with those other ports controlled by (for example) ASmedia — these are not native to the chipset and are controlled separately. These problems will be made much worse as you extend the cable length, as these USB cables will see degradation (without additional power in the line) beyond ~3 metres. I have also tested a 3m cable which will work in my front usb ports, so this needs to be considered when buying such a long (unpowered) able. I would imagine this will also become more complicated if you connect to a laptop instead of desktop, especially in terms of power balancing if on battery (I don’t really have one to test).
This cable works well but seems to have an issue at the 120Hz setting in the oculus quest 2, when significant screen tearing starts to occur. This also on a 3m cable, and I think may relate to bugs with the oculus or the need to buy a very specific cable for this setting. It seems to go through periods of being ok and then being more flickery, hence I deducted a star, in all fairness I think 4.5stars is fairer score. However, at 90Hz, with max scaling, it works perfectly and I have listed my pc specs below. The cable feels robust and is prob the best you will get for this price range, I also feel it should be clearly stated (which it is the ad for the cable, but somewhat lost with all the reviews) this will not charge the headset but will make the headset last longer when plugged in (I’d say maybe somewhere between twice and three times as long as the standard battery lasts).

Amazing quality cable for the price. Transfer speeds of 2.8Gbps when tested through the headset into a USB 3.1 port. Cable is flexible enough to not get in the way when playing, extremely durable feeling and stays connected into the headset without any issues. A must buy and a extremely viable alternative to the Oculus Link Cables if you have a motherboard with a 3.1 header.
Note that you will not achieve the same transfer speeds in a USB 3.0 port which will result in a lot of stuttering.
Cable works good and for everyone who wrote that it doesn’t, please make sure to use USB3 port on your PC. It is not comfortable to use a cable, many have recommended using WIFI6 routers as an alternative, and I am looking into that right now.
Never used the official one, it will give you higher speeds due to being Fiber optic (reason for being expensive). But you don’t need that, the official one is overkill, and this one is perfectly fine. The 2.8 gbps I got was from a USB-A 3.2 port on motherboard, USB-A 3.2 has a bandwidth of 10 Gbps (Double) so not sure if that helped with the speed or not.
I did run into some issues at the start but that was due to Windows 11, unbelievable that Oculus hasn’t bothered to officially support it yet after 7 months of release.
I bought a new Asus ROG Strix G17 laptop and was having real trouble getting the USB-C to route the traffic through to the RTX Graphics card but this cable works great and I can now play all my PCVR games on my Qeust 2 with out any issue.
The length is perfect too.

Having recently purchased a VR headset abs wanting to use it for when I’m on my spin bike this allows me to leave the bike on the other side of the room abs still not worry about it needing change as I leave this plugged in .

This is used to connect an oculos quest 2 to a pc or laptop, really amazing price, a fraction of the price of the official product, 10 out of 10 guys.
I’ve got mine hooked up with a pulley system. I had originally been a little worried about the 5-meter length, however, it’s plenty enough to go from my PC, up my wall, halfway across my ceiling and then even with some excess for comfort.
I’ve not had a single issue with the link, no latency or anything and running a test using oculuses official cable test app stated that it was a perfectly compatible cable that ran at 2.8gbps.
The cable is also nice and thick so there’s no reason to worry about it’s durability, so far I’ve easily logged about 40+ hours in vr using this during several long sessions in a large manner of games with absolutely no issues.
There is absolutely no reason to go to oculuses official branded cable when this does the exact same at a fraction of the cost. Not only that, you can rest assured with this brand as they’re so confident in their product that they give you quite a long warentee for it, with even the choice of freely upgrading it for even longer.
I’ve also noticed my battery lasts a lot longer whilst playing wired, it does certainly still loose charge but I can play for 4-6 hours easily now which has made vr a lot more enjoyable for me.

I do recommend that if you buy this product you buy some pulley cable management as it makes using a wire so much more fluid and easy, you’ll rarely, if ever snag on anything and risk breaking your cable with a pulley system.

Nachdem die Bewertungen von USB Kabeln fr VR Gerte sehr unterschiedlich ausfallen, schreib ich meine Erfahrung dazu.
Ich habe den throughput nicht explizit getestet. Stattdessen das Kabel einfach am Motherboard, an einem der USB 3 Gen 2 kompatiblen Ports angeschlossen und die Brille wurde sofort erkannt. Laut anderer Erfahrungen kann es mit Front USB Ports Probleme geben (Interferenzen innerhalb des PC Gehuses), also habe ich die Ports von vornerein auen vor gelassen.
Inzwischen habe ich mit dem Kabel etwa 3h gespielt und die Brille auch mehrfach verbunden und getrennt. Der USB-C Stecker wurde nicht locker, wie andere es beschreiben und der Klettverschluss passt gut um den Strap der Brille herum. Da das Kabel relativ schwer ist, sollte der Klettverschluss auf jedenfall verwendet werden. Nach wenigen Tagen bin ich komplett auf Wifi umgestiegen und verwende das Kabel nur noch zum sideloaden von Android Apps (was zur Not auch ber Wifi ginge).
Fazit:
Ein sehr gutes Kabel, das mit der Quest 2 perfekt funktioniert. Wenn man aber einen Wifi AC Access Point hat, ist es nicht ntig. Preis/Leistung ist top.

when i first plugged it in, i saw my quest recognized by my pc, but there was no video feed. i panicked a little, but the problem was that you have to disable oculus air link on your quest, and then link cable works.

I was hoping this would actually charge the quest 2 while playing but it extends the playtime instead, basically Yes it charges as you play but the output is still greater than the input of power so you will eventually drain low however you can get more time than the standard 1-2 hours wireless!
I was able to play some intense demanding games and played roughly 3 hours maybe a little more before the headset hits 57%, this included downloading some too! I got the shorter cable and it is enough but forgetting im tethered as the cable is not heavy unlike some others I kinda unplugged myself from the USB wall charger a few times when I walked over a little for a drink and it still works!
I use it mostly for PCVR linking and use the small silly cable to charge when im away but I tested this cable and let it charge the headset over a few nights and it fully charges the headset properly without overheating.
Pros:
-Cheaper than official and it freely “bends” so breaks are reduced and able to loosely wrap the cable to fit into the quest box after use without risk of breaking it. (loosely wrap all wires never tight)
-Get lifetime if you register on their website (I need to do this still)
– Neatly connects firmly into the headset without sticking out with a velcro tab to connect the able to the headset strap to keep cable behind you and in place.
-matches the headset in colour so it looks like the actual cable.
-Charges the headset when not in use
-extends the battery when in use.
Con: at a stretch
-Does not fully charge the headset in use but I am going to assume this is the nature of the headset and amount of power a USB can transfer to charge it and send over information.
I was going to get the original one for oculus quest 2, but I didn’t want to pay the price they are asking for, so I looked for alternatives on amazon, with the knowledge that if it didn’t work I would get my money back, well it worked, it looks better as colour is the same as the hardware, and it’s only a fraction of the price, and the quality of the cable is excellent.

Il est vraiment trs long 5m et adapt pour une utilisation du casque reli au PC et donc pour se servir du casque avec des jeux VR sur PC.
En ce qui concerne son utilisation elle est videmment trs simple, connecter sur un port USB 3.0 idalement sur l’oculus et le PC et profiter de la puissance du PC pour jouer aux jeux avec des graphismes plus jolis que ceux de l’oculus.
Assurment on perd en mobilit puisque cette fois-ci on est “cbl”, cependant avec des astuces systme D on peut trs bien ne pas s’emmler les pieds dans le fil (pour ma part j’utilise du scotch sur le mur… 😉
noter que le cble est plutt rigide ce qui montre qui est un gage de qualit, sans entrer dans les dtails les cbles les plus rigides sont ceux ayant le plus de fils de transfert et sont ainsi les plus performants.
Le moins c’est videmment le prix que je trouve plutt cher (et qui se rajoute : l’oculus 400, la sangle qu’il faut changer parce que celle de base est mauvaise donc 50 , ce cble, +/- house de protection…)

You need a Blue 3.0 Port for this to work ( The cable does charge the unit as your playing but the unit uses more than it can give so you will have to take it of after about 3 hours and recharge it again.

Se ve de buena calidad, tiene una velocidad de transferencia de 2.5gbps segn el test de oculus, va fluido y sin tirones a 120hz con 1.4 desolucin. No le pongo 5 estrellas porque solo consigue suministrar hasta 0.8A reales, comprobado con un medidor USB en un puerto 3.2, insuficiente para mantener la carga de la batera, pero suficiente para alargar la autonoma de esta.
Die Qualitt ist wie von Syntech gewohnt perfekt. Das Kabel ist extra dicker als andere Kabel, sodass es bei der Lnge nicht direkt kaputt geht. Mit 5m kommt man auch zu entfernteren Steckdosen was angenehm ist. Insgesamt sehr zufrieden.
Fijne soepele kabel voor de Oculus 2. Past qua kleur mooi bij de bril en het stekkertje onder een hoekje werkt perfect. Klitteband gebruik ik vervolgens om de kabel langs de hoofd strap te geleiden.
Lengte is voor mij voldoende.

Wasn’t sure what to expect given the price and was a bit worried my quest 2 would struggle to connect. To my amazement it connected immediately and vr games from my pc run extremely smooth. The lead is 15ft so it’s more than enough cable to spare. Comes with the velcro strap to tie it to the headset also. My only complaint is and I’m being really picky is the cable is a tough and not as flexible as I would of hoped but I’m sure that will wear in. Gets 5 stars purely on price at 25 ( as oppose to the official cable which retails at 80+) is a bargain. Cheap and works……what more do you want.

Nicht alles geht heutzutage kabellos und das Syntech Link Kable 5M ist fr manche Dinge sehr ntzlich. Der Versand war schnell, die Verarbeitung ist wertig und die Stecker sind gut verarbeitet und halten fest.
Durchsatz ist schnell und es gibt keine Verzgerung an den angeschlossenen Gerten.

Das Kabel ist aufgrund seiner Lnge uerst praktisch. Das Klettband zum Zusammenhalten des zusammengerollten Kabels ist an diesem befestigt. Es verrutscht daher nicht so leicht und kann weder abfliegen noch verloren gehen. Ich finde das sehr angenehm, weil ich es von anderen Kabeln kenne, dass dieses Ding oft das ganze Kabel runterrutscht und ich es stndig suchen muss. Nur eine Kleinigkeit, die mir aber positiv auffiel!
Das Kabel selbst ist weich und flexibel – vermutlich, weil es ja speziell fr den Gaming Bereich ist und eine Robustheit trotz viel Bewegung da sehr wichtig ist. Ich wollte es als lngere Kabel haben fr mein Macbook, falls ich mal weiter weg von dem Netzteil arbeite. Dazu braucht man noch einen USB-C auf USB Adapter, den ich vom gleichen Hersteller (Syntech) verwende. Das klappt bisher ganz gut.

Vor einigen Tagen habe ich das Kabel bestellt und es zgig geliefert bekommen. An dieser Stelle muss ich zugeben, dass es sich nicht um ein erstes Kabel von dieser Firma handelt. Wie in der Vergangenheit, als auch jetzt, stechen die Kabel mit einer hervorragenden Qualitt als auch Technik heraus. Oftmals, leisten Kabel anderer Hersteller lediglich nur ihren Dienst. Fr Kunden aber die auf die Optik als auch Haptik einen besonderen Wert legen, sollten meiner Meinung nach dieses Kabel kaufen.

The Cable worked perfectly fine on my Oculus Quest 2 to play PCVR games. It seems very sturdy but not too stiff and includes a Nice little Velcro strap attached to the cable itself which keeps the cable more secure and out of the way. all this with the added bonus of being exceptionally cheaper than the Official cable! would definitely recommend!

After setting up and testing cable i was getting 3.6gb/s the oculus cable gets about 2.6gb/s

The wire itself is slightly heavy, enough to were its noticible when draped on you, however, with what this cable allows for that is a little price to pay, its not stiff so will flex and move easily for when its needed, no clue why amazon asks me to rate adhesion so Ill go with how well it sits in the usb c and usb ports, and it essentially clicks into place meaning that paired with the almost reinforced connectors its not going to come out casually when using it with the quest or so on, when I tested it the cable itself transferred at around 2.2gbps which is both solid and more than enough to use the quest or any such headset with it, so, with the quest you can get charging and fast speeds for pc gameplay or fast charging using a good power block for just a quick power top up on any device, again, its just all around a brilliant cable.

Does the job as a replacement of the original produc
Works as expected, 5M USB3.0 A-C cable, using for my Logitech Brio 4K Pro 8MP webcam, getting sufficient bandwidth to support 4K video through this cable and now can install camera much farther (got as replacement to original short data cable)
Excellent value for money and cheaper than the oculus link cable

Looks great and the quality is brilliant very happy and it’s the same colour of the gopro
It does what it’s supposed to do. Wasn’t going to buy a oculus branded cable at that price
The connection quality is great and stable, the colour also matched my Quest 2 which is brilliant! I compared it to a friend’s official link cable and the quality was indistinguishable.
The build quality feels good too as the cable feels sturdy. I would recommend using the cable tie ot comes with and maybe an extra one of your own to secure the cable to the quest head strap also.
