Great mouse. Love the shape and feel of it because my last mouse was not very well designed and caused problems in my hand. This mouse seems to be correcting those.
The lights on it are awesome. The main breathing light can have it’s colour and speed of fading in and out changed. The DPI is brilliant and I’ve not noticed any lag at all from the mouse.
The cable is also fantastic. It’s not tangled at all, even after many trips in various bags. The feel of it is very strong but still flexible. The USB is also very nice – it doesn’t feel like it would ever fall out. The only problem is that the USB is quite large, with the casing of the connector sticking out just under two inches from my computer. That’s nothing major though.
The weights that come with the mouse come with a little pot to keep them in to stop them getting lost and it works well with my ocd because there are holes to put each one in, rather than just chucking them in and hearing them rattle around.
Overall a really nice product and DEFINITELY good value for money.
Just want to start by saying I bought this mouse purely because I needed a gaming mouse and this was going at a good price for what it was. I’m not a fan of major brands as you often pay for a logo more than anything so if you’re set on a major brand, you may find this useful.
At first, the mouse was amazing. I found it was easier to pull off trick shots and aim and generally felt good in my hand. Had to tinker with the weights a little to find what was ideal for me but didn’t take long.
After around 2 weeks, the calibration seemed to be off and it was obvious that there was something wrong with the wire. I sent an email to TeckNet and had a reply within no time. All I had to do was send them the current mouse and I would be sent a brand new one in return.
Several months later now and can honestly say I’m still truly happy.
Great quality, great price and great fun.
A great mouse for the price, the DPI is so high that I only use level 1 and 2, great smooth feel as you move the mouse around because of the quality of the Pads underneath, I don’t bother about the lighting effects but if that’s your thing then you can customise the technet logo effects, I like the side buttons because they are all different shapes you can easily tell which is which but the one in front of the scroll wheel is difficult to use. All around great gaming mouse and at this price (20) a very good deal. Highly recommended.
Can’t complain for the price.. it was much better than I expected. It looks great.. I love things with lights on them! The extra buttons are more useful if you are playing a lot of games.. I’ve not really used them much in the end, but in theory I could programme it with a few extra features, including use of the recording moves feature.
Cons? It’s not always the most comfortable for me. The thumb indent on the side tends to annoy me rather than being a comfort. Could just be the size of my hand I guess. It’s a minor quibble really, don’t let it stop you from buying one and giving it a go!
This mouse is perfectly suited for what I needed. Balanced and precise. For the price you couldn’t ask for a better product. It is a re branded Ankor mouse which sells for considerably more.
Great construction and is very well suited for people that grip with there fingertips. Extra buttons on the side are a great benefit for those high gear FPS marathons and the ability to record macros is also a nice touch should you have need for that. Assigning keys to the extra buttons could not be easier and you can also tailor the LED to change colour to suit your mood. it does however need to be noted that getting the exact shade you want can be tricky but with 1000’s of colour combinaions you’ll find something you like. My biggest gripe on this front is the fact that the scroll wheel and DPI indicator stay Blue regardless of what colour scheme you choose.
The picture is deceptive, it looks squashed and more like the size of a portable mouse but this is very much a full fat mouse (if not a little bigger)
The mouse comes with a software CD which is handy because it contains the driver that you are unable to download from the website so DO NOT LOSE THIS!!!
I use this in conjunction with the Roccat Isku Keyboard, the Roccat Apuri Active USB-Hub with Mouse Bungee and the Razor Nostromo Expert Keypad
So if you want a mouse with Gaming Pedigree look no further, you get a lot of bang for not a lot of Ker…Ching..Wassup!?
After having the G500 for 6 years it finally gave up on me so I browsed around as I couldn’t really afford a really expensive mouse so I settled on this and I am glad I did, It is honest one of the best mice i’ve ever used it is very comfortable with the rubber grip next to the side buttons and very precise for those long gaming sessions :D.
I paid a Little under 20 for this mouse and was a little worried what i might end up with for my money.
This is an awesome mouse, the laser is superb and can quite literally be used on any surface from carpet to a glass table.
The 4 DPI settings add control to the re activeness of the mouse depending on what your needs are.
I would highly recommend this mouse to anyone!!!
I was very much in doubt in buying this mouse. However, come through the post 5 days later, set it all up and found it brilliant! I use it more for my Surface RT and it works perfectly for it just as it does for my laptop. The 9 programmable buttons are so useful as all I have to do is click a button and I’ve done something which would have taken longer. Also, I love how you can assign macros to any button s you can literally have the button to do anything. You can also change the lights to whatever colour you choose and have 4 different DPI settings which you can change to your preferred choices. I’ve stuck with the standards.
Very good product. 5*
I only just got this today, but it’s an excellent mouse. Lots of programmable buttons and you can program the colour and “heart beat” of the light (which is just how often you want the light to dim down and come back up, neat but not very useful feature). You can program a button so change the DPI speed, which is shown on the 4 little lights on the side of the mouse which is extremely useful. I can lower the speed when I’m just browsing the internet, then with a click of a button I can raise it when playing games. Another useful thing is you can have two profiles of what you want the buttons to do, so I have one profile for browsing the web and what not where I set the buttons to go back, forward etc. and have the light blue, then with a click of a button the light turns red to let me know I’ve changed to my gaming profile where I’ve set the buttons to do something different.
All in all, I’m very happy with the mouse. Doesn’t feel cheap, I can take out/put in the weights to make it heavier/lighter and for less than 20, it’s a bargain. Highly recommend.
Great gaming mouse! 😀 Non buggy software and great programmable buttons.
I never need the dpi anything above 800, but it’s cool to have a mouse that can do up to 8200!
A polling rate increase setting, to 1000Hz, is fantastic! Now my mouse only has 1ms delay time (ordinary mouses have 10ms delay time with 100Hz polling rate)
OK that’s a bit strong but it could if you spend time on Call of Duty or Batman or Tekken….. this mouse is 100% programmable, to the point where you can add weights to it to get your perfect handling setup. Its great for gaming and its out of this world for when your using a paint programme or graphics programme. Adjusting various speeds for different needs is easy with the user friendly interface, change colour, change bias if your left or right handed, key assignment. At this price get one. but be advised its not your ho hum run of the mill mouse, you are paying for a serious bit of kit that takes a little getting used to and it will take a few hours to master it, does that sound odd? Well, if your a lady, you would like it light and not too taxing on your wrist I assume, Guys generally have bigger hands and can handle the mouse with a bit more weight, you have the choice of adding up to 10 weights around the underside of the mouse to adjust to your particular way of handling, change click speed and…… there’s too much to add on here. Its an EPIC bit of kit and at this price snap one up…..
Amazing mouse, all of the buttons are fully programmable and comes with two users and a button to quickly switch between them. All of the buttons are easily accessible without moving the hand, which feels almost like it is molded around the mouse it fits so well. Haven’t had any problems after a couple of months of use. The program comes on the disk has a good user interface, making it easy to change the settings on each of the users
I was pleased with the overall quality of this product. It should last far longer than many of my previous mouses 🙂
Ive been trying many different gaming mice and so far gone through a Logitech G400, Sensei Raw and lastly the Roccat Kone Pure. All were good mice but didnt fit in my hybid grip particulary well.
Purchased both the x8900 and 2000 cheaper dpi version. The x8900 is a brilliant mouse and i think this is going to be the mouse for me, futs so snugly in the hand, feels robust and buttons are perect for my hand size, all easily accessible without having to play finger yoga!
The 2000 dpi version is suprisngly well built for a 9 mice, its repsonsive, feels nice and defo worth the money. It will become my backup mouse,
Overall very happy with both products
Worth every penny, would 100% recommend this to others looking for decent price gaming mouse this is the one to have.
Pros : You can adjust weights , change the dpi as per your wish , assign macro’s , very comfortable to work with .
Cons : You can only adjust the light of ‘ T ‘ while you can’t change any light so the function of light is useless.
This is truly an excellent mouse for gamers and general users alike. It has an impressive range of features, many of which can be configured from the easy-to-use software. It also comes with a set of small weights which can be used to fine-tune the weighting of the mouse.
i think this is a really great product.
it was delivered very fast from the producent 🙂
it has a lot of great features like programming and it is comfortable to use 🙂
the only downside to this product is that the button on the front is a bit loose but it still works great, so it is a really small thing 🙂
overall the best mouse i have had 🙂
Bought this for my son to play minecraft and he has had hours of fun with this compared to his old mouse, a happy son means peace and quite from me. A great success. He tells me it gives him more options to do things quicker and smoothly
I had the technet TeckNet X9800 High Precision Programmable Laser Gaming Mouse with 8000 DPI, 9 Programmable Button but after 2 years of hard use one of the buttons gave up. I’m not a gamer but I use this mouse in the office for about 8 hours a day to edit photos and general everyday running of my business. This newer 13 button version feels sturdier with a metal underbelly instead of plastic. Going back to having a two button mouse just isn’t an option for me as I have all the short cuts saved to the mouses buttons (copy, paste, Alt, Shift, print, open file explorer, etc), makes life so much easier.
This is one of the best value for money gaming mice i have used in a long time…
This mouse offers great value for money and a good level of build quality with nice features that will help to make your games better…
I found the mouse to be very responsive and very useful for working on software such as photoshop and premier pro as the key bindings can help to speed up editing and effects on photoshop.
I’m graphic designer, when I have a free time I prefer to play in action games. So I must say this product is really great combine both of this functions. I can bin all buttons for different profiles. It’s really helpfull. Also I prefer good weight for different things. This mouse has low sound when I use scroll or buttons. 5 stars! P.s.: Also I’m looking alternative solution to change my old keyboard.
Comfortable to use, excellent features, High Quality materials. Very good for gaming and Reasonable price. The light in the centre can be turned off by turning the colour to black. Shame the other colours cant be changed but its not that big of a deal.
Having used the TeckNet X9800 for a few weeks now am very surprised just how good it has been.
I have been use to Razer mice for a few years but got fed up with them going wrong. This is a very good mouse
at a very low price. To be honest should have tried along time ago as I can’t find fault with it at the moment.
Very quick to move and high precision. Using in Battlefield 4 at the moment and finding it a great FPS mouse.
The only downside I would say is that it is not as easy to set the keys up as my previous mouse, but you soon get use to it!!
This mouse is well made, responsive and accurate.
variable weight and sensativity make it customisable for all your games.
Its ergonimic styling puts all the buttons in easy reach.
Fantastic value and great functionality make this a must have Gamer tool.
Very good quality mouse just a little on the light side but its easily fixed by placing some coins in it to give it that much added weight. I have a rat 5 as well and although the its much more expensive this is on par with it. Its large enough for your hand and very comfortable to use.
The TeckNet X9800 gaming mouse is a really good mouse and is really easy to programme the 9 programmable buttons. The only issue i found with the mouse were the weights, they can be hard to get in and out of the mouse.
This mouse is a bargain and i would have paid more for it.
I bought this looking for a replacement for my Razer Naga which has finally given in. After realising spending 60 for a mouse that will last 1 year. So I looked around and found this. Personally I like the design for this mouse because Orange is my favorite colour. It is a fantastic mouse overall, comfortable in hand and can change colour. Great quality packaging and came when expected. Came with everything as described and easy to set up, plug and play. Can’t go wrong with this mouse. I highly recommend this mouse to anyone wanting to find a replacement.
I bought this product expecting it to be a low end gaming mouse, When the product arrived it far exceeded my expectations and i am extremely happy with the product. The product is well designed and meets all my needs when gaming.
Very impressive product, easily to set up and operate. Easily customisable buttons for gaming. The mouse fits well in the hand and the sensitivity options further exemplify the personalisation and customisation available with this product. I use it all the time.
It literally does the job of a higher end mouse for barely a 1/3 of the asking price, the extra buttons are great for commands and macros, the whole mouse itself runs smoothly plus the customisation options seem endless, all in all a great mouse for gaming and everyday use.
The product arrived extremely quickly and very well packaged. The mouse itself is very easy to use, and the disc it comes with makes it very customisable. It’s much larger than I thought it would be and could be considered bulky, but I think it’s a good size. Although I personally don’t use the weights it came with, they seem like a good additional feature to the mouse.
Since receiving this mouse I have used it every single day and not looked back. The functionality, the ergonomics, everything down to the layout of the button configuration is perfect for my gamer lifestyle. Where i purchased the mouse my gamer group told me it was a bad idea, but they’ve all been swayed as much as I have.
I fully recommend this mouse, either as a good starter or a professional gaming peripheral for all ages.
This is a very good mouse for the price, and provides excellent control with a good number of buttons. The only downside is the fact that there is no option to assign the mouse buttons as “mouse buttons” that the system would recognise as such. This is easily remedied, however, by using the multimedia key assignments. Adjustable weight is also a welcome feature.
Had to find another mouse after a Gigabyte gamer started playing up after only a few months. Did my research read the reviews and chose this and glad I did. Easy to set up and to adjust sensitivity. Quite light to begin with so adding the extra weights is a useful option. Seller service was very good. Item was despatched quickly and well packed.
After opening the box I could see it was a quailty item. Very well packed and nicely boxed.
The mouse driver installation was straight forward with no problems. Adding the included weights gives the mouse a nice solid feel.
I have quite large hands but the mouse fits well beneath with all the 9 buttons easily reachable.
Button programing instructions need to be improved as this proved to be not easy but I did work out how to eventually.
The mouse seems to slide over most surfaces eaisly but works best for me on my frabric covered mousemat.
I would like to have had the same non slip material used for the thumb rest fitted to the right hand side also.
The “T” logo, which is hidden by the hand when in use, can be made to glow or breath in a mulitude of colours and 3 brightnesses or off, shame the wheel does not do the same.
Adjustable DPI is good as is the polling rate.
Overall this is a great mouse at a really good price and I would recommend i
I must admit i was a little dubious upon purchasing this mouse, but i buy many things here on Amazon on what other members rate the products that they buy.
So on that basis, i took the plunge on this item and i am delighted with it!!
The look is very nice, the grip is good too and the programme to change the colour of the light is pretty cool too.
If you are still toying with the idea of buying this or another expensive make/model – take the plunge and go for this one,you wont be dissapointed with the item or the service you received from Bluebyte.
I bought this mouse a few months ago when looking for a replacement for the G500 Logitech mouse which lasted only 1 years and then the button went. I was initially looking at another Logitech product but read about the Anker gaming mouse in a review. When I read reviews on Anker there was a review comparing it to the Tecknet x9800 8200DPI and in the end I decided to go for this as they appear to use the same firmware but Bluebyte came out more favorable and is a UK based company. Also the Tecknet was the cheaper.
I have used the mouse now for several months and I am not disappointed. Its fast and responsive – you can even program in mouse macro moves. For general browsing I actually prefer this to the G500 as the G500 used to skip paragraphs of text when scrolling down web pages, and the Tecknet is very smooth.
The mouse also has the usual back, forward buttons, 4 different set speeds, and includes weights – features that were a premium on the G500
The software it comes with enables a few features like changing the color of the “T” symbol – you can use any hex code.
So yes I would recommend the Tecknet x9800, not only for its features but also its price – 20 for a comfortable to hold gaming mouse is a bargain.
And what about Bluebyte? Since buying the mouse, about 2 weeks later, I received an email asking me if I was happy with everything and if they could be any further help. In the cut throat business of e commerce, small things like this go a long way, so I feel I have bought something from a company that is genuinely striving to push customer service. I don’t normally write reviews, as I would be here all day, but the mouse is great and Bluebyte after sales support is surprising, that I decided to.
I play a lot of World of Warcraft and League of Legends so I was looking for a mouse which had additional buttons but was within my price range. This mouse promised to have mappable buttons (which it does) but they’re not counted as a button in their own right (e.g. mouse button 4) and instead you have to map each button to a key so I would map the top button to ‘I’ which I then map in game to ‘Spell 5’ for example.
Overall, it was a good mouse. I enjoy the novelty of the awesome colour changing abilities of it and the shape is nice in your hand. It’s slightly long which can be frustrating if you have a mouse pad rest like myself but other than that the size is good.
The ability to change weight and DPI is also excellent and fulfils any possible needs you may have in these areas and in my opinion goes above and beyond the value that I’d expect for this price. Seriously good value.
If you’re looking for a sensibly priced gaming mouse which is affordable yet performs just as well as a big brand mouse (e.g. the Razer Naga) then look no further. It has everything you could want and isn’t cheap quality.
All in all, a solid buy.
bought it for my brother who’s just started playing World of Warcraft to upgrade is 3 button mouse, this is a great starter mouse! it’s quite large so you need big ish hands to be able to reach it all. he particularly likes the different profiles and colours you can set, so if he’s in game, he can switch to ‘gaming buttons’ and if he’s just on the laptop he can switch to ‘windows mode’
buttons are nice, mouse is good, quick delivery and nicely packaged.
can’t fault it really, he loves it and uses it all the time! good value for a nice mouse!
Got this yesterday and am very pleased with it from what I’ve seen so far.
The construction is very high standard and exactly as listed. The one thing that wasn’t clear from everything I read on here and elsewhere is that two of the side buttons can work just as Mouse buttons 4 and 5. All other buttons can be programmed to pretty much whatever you want, including useful features when working, like Copy, Cut and Paste.
The software provides loads of options for customising speeds. Highly recommended, it’s just a shame they took the price up by 5 since I bought it last week!
When i got this i was happy with it because, this mouse is very good it has a lot of options like mouse colour, a lot of progamabel buttons, fast dpi switch and some weight metal things. That is a lot considering the price, there is just one thing. There have bin some times where it wouldent connect to my pc.
Overall a great produc
It works well, feels good, arrived very quickly – would definitely recommend! The mouse is quite large but the buttons are very comfortably placed – I have gotten used to them very fast over a couple of days after having used a much smaller mouse with just 2 side buttons for over a year.
The mouse wheel is also comfortable and has just the right amount of “click” =]
great gaming mouse for the price but if you have small hands can seem a bit big compared to normal 1 and the setup program doesn’t include a update feature like it is ment to
Positives
– Response is quick
– Price was low
– Decent looking mouse
– Fits average sized hands well
Not tried all the different weights yet, but always good to have that option to customise
For this price, an excellent all round mouse.
I was looking for a cheap gaming mouse with high performance level. I had previously looked at Razer products and found they were way too expensive and the cheaper models available on the market were not up to standards. However this mouse was a extremely cheap and had a very good performance. It has up to 8200 dpi, which I never use because it is too sensitive for my liking, and a 1000 mhz polling rate available. Its aesthetics are OK apart from the orange buttons ,which can clash with the black a bit and the light on the product will sometimes not display certain colours properly ,but it still looks good when you find a colour that works. It is very comfortable and the variable weights help with lining up shots in games or being precise in Photoshop. The only problem I have had with the mouse is the driver disk ,which was a mini disk which did not fit into the disk drive, and I had to download drivers from the Anker website (which will work with this mouse). Overall this mouse is a fantastic bargain and would recommend it to anyone.
all i can say about this mouse is for the price it is, it is amazing the tracking is good, i never used weights but with all the weights put in to it. its still the right weight, i would recommend this produc
I’ve used this for a day now and I can say it’s a good value mouse, equal to some 2 or 3 times more expensive. The only real problem I’ve had is that the TeckNet software on the disk provided caused Access Violation at Address Errors so I downloaded the software for the Anker 8000 mouse and now it works much better – no issues.
I bought this for the purpose of photo editing in Photoshop. I find it is very precise and accurate when using the Lasso tool. I am more then pleased with the quality of this item and it`s ease of installation/set up. I`m sorry I cannot comment on its gaming qualities but I`m sure it would also rate highly there aswell. And by the way: I received a super service here from the seller, not to mention the price reduction too!
Very solid gaming mouse with nice shape that fits the hand and the buttons are very good. only problem is it seems to be a rip off of the anker mouse that looks the same and runs off the same drivers which can be downloaded at ianker.com in case anyone wants to know
I have several more expensive laser gaming mouse. In my view this is the best value and best performing laser gaming mouse available.
Glides beautifully.
Great hand fit.
Great functionality.
Looks and feels good.
Extremely affordable.
Do not hesitate.
This product arrived promptly and was exactly as advertised. As a regular gamer I amvery happy with this mouse it is easy to use easy to install and is a very good product for the money.
The mouse is extremely comfortable, very easy to setup and superb value for money. My only niggles are with the mouse wheel which is a bit harder to click than need be and does not rotate as freely as it could (still 5 stars overall though).
I bought this mouse for MMO gaming with – I’ve had a few mice over the years with more than the two basic buttons, and this is the ONLY one I’d re-purchase if it ever goes faulty.
Its extra buttons are all easily programmable from the little application that it ships with. The mouse is well built, and solid feeling i.e. the scroll wheel has a definite smoothness to it, it doesn’t spin wildly too fast, is made from a sort of sticky plastic (so if your hands are a bit sweaty, it doesn’t slip – maybe TMI but it’s a practical consideration if you’re gaming for a few hours) and the buttons don’t feel flimsy. You can also control the weight of the mouse itself by adding or removing silver weights to the inside.
In general, I don’t think I’ve come across a better gaming mouse, and I’ve previously gone through a range of brands over the last few years (a few Logitech mice – don’t like the scroll wheels on them, they’re too delicate, plus various Microsoft ones and a couple of Razer mice, and a heap of lesser known branded ones in the years I’ve been gaming).
When you consider the above, you should bear in mind that it’s one of the cheapest mice I’ve ever purchased. One of the few products I’ve been so impressed with that I wanted to add this review, even though I don’t normally bother on Amazon.
If you’re looking for a solid gaming mouse, but you’re on a tight budget, or disillusioned with the expensive end of the mouse market, and aren’t sure what to try next, give this one a shot.
The mouse was delivered quickly and has a number of very useful features for the price.
I use it primarily for first person shooter gaming but it equally works well in general use.
The mouse is accurate and good to hold in the hand. Programmable buttons are very helpful.
highly recommended for a low cost high quality gaming mouse.
all i can say so far is wow real chunky size nice to use real good quality and the flashing symbal is a nice touch comes with software to fully customize id have gotten one months ago if id of known they were this good for the price, you will find it hard to get a better mouse for the price
UPDATE= AFTER A WEEK OR SO USE NOW THE MOUSE SCROLL WHEEL GETS STIFF LIKE THE RUBBER IS STICKING TO THE MOUSE AND IF YOU NEED IT FOR GAMING IT CAN BE THE DIFFERENCE I HAVE FOUND IN BF3 TO BE YOU DIE VERY FAST
UPDATE AFTER A COUPLE WEEKS– THE MOUSE SCROLL WHEEL SEEMS TO HAVE FIXED ITSELF MUST OF JUST BEEN STICKING WITH BEING NEW SO ITS NOW PERFECT 🙂
This is a bargain price for a decent quality gaming mouse with decent gaming functionality. In terms of bang per buck this was the best gaming mouse I could find and I have not been disappointed with it since I got it. If anything I am happier with the ‘bargain’ that I got than I thought I would be. It feels nice and solid, has a good feel and does what I want it to do. For the price I would recommend this for anyone.
It feels really comfortable and don’t notice any cramp etc. when using for long periods. The finish of the mouse is quite nice, rubber in the thumb rest and a rubberised finish over the main palm/left/right mouse area. Very easy to adjust various aspects, from the weight/balance of the mouse to the lights using the supplied software. All in all, very pleased I bought it and I’m not disappointed.
For a mouse of this sensitivity the price is incredible.
Fits my hand size well leaving the fingers un-strained which is important for many continuous hours of use. It’s a bit longer than my other gaming mice which allows me to rest my palm more easily.
Low friction glide pads on the bottom help provide a smooth and positive action even though I’m resting my arm more heavily on it than normal. The ability to customize the inertia with (the provided) extra weighty pellets gives your muscles something to push/pull against so making it easier to control.
I bought mine for (mainly) non-gaming use and still find the top resolution too sensitive for work but the 4 resolutions can be cycled through by the touch of a button and 2000dpi mode is fine.
There’s plenty of lights on the mouse, not much use for work but I can see that it would help locate the buttons while immersing yourself in a game by subduing the lighting.
It has a great spec & looks good & performs well. My only criticism is that the rear side button is easily squeezed in error but I think I’ll be able to re-train myself to avoid that. I used all the weights + a coin on top & it’s just about perfect for me. The first product I received was incomplete but Tecknet Customer Services were excellent & replaced it immediately by 1st class post.
The size, weight(with the extra weights) and feel of the mouse are great.
The buttons and mouse wheel all have good tactile feedback and the clicky sounds you need.
The software was a breeze to use.
Very impressed with the HIGH DPI and the on the fly DPI switch responsiveness.
The mouse has 1 fault.
The extra (thumb) buttons cannot be configured to send MOUSE4, 5 and 6 signals. This means you have to configure them to use an un-used key or a combination of keys. I wanted to use the thumb buttons for PushToTalk across multiple games. One in particular has 3 voice channels. Many combinations didnt work (numpad 7,8,9) and others had sideeffects as every modifier key was used by the game (shift, alt, ctrl). I will keep the mouse as a spare, but its allready been replaced.
At first I found a gaming mouse unnecessary, but that was after I found how useful the shift buttons were (in games such as Minecraft and First Person Shooters). In addition to the extra features such as the L.E.D colour changing, point speed, point acceleration and double click speed adjustments. I only found a small issue when closing exterior applications; my personal mouse settings restored to a default stage but this was not that annoying.
This mouse is perfect for me. The high DPI gives me max precision whilst gaming, which keeps me right on top. The macro keys on the side which i use for games too are incredibly handy for quick moves in game. Thank you so much, have already recommended to friends!
Bought this because it was cheap and didn’t expect much but boy was I surprised. This is definitely the canines testicles. Fully weighted it glides and the feedback response is amazing. Has to be the easiest mouse to program on the market and it looks good too. Build quality is good, better than my Microsoft X8 which cost 5 times the price. Have started using this for gaming and like it better than my razer gaming mouse the sensitivity is brilliant and with such a good dpi it improves my fps performance. BUY IT IT’S THAT GOOD!
I have been the owner of a Microsoft Intellimouse for years, love it but they are like rocking horse dung to find now, especially at a decent price. I decided to look for a gaming mouse as its on its last legs and came across this beauty. It looks like a rebadged anker gaming mouse but at a snippet of the cost. Its fairly light thus I use all the weights provided which make it glide effortlessly over a table at just the right weight. Its precision perfect and fully programmable. You cant find a better mouse for 15, its truly an amazing offer. I was cautious at first as it seemed like a too good to be true type of deal. I was wrong, this is the real deal! Buy it, you cant go wrong! I offer 4 star’s only as it took a few weeks to arrive. Otherwise its perfect!
Brilliant mouse and only 14!!! Definitely worth it! Fast delivery and smooth transaction. With multiple customisable buttons this mouse is the most versatile mouse I have every own and it is only about the quartar of the price compared to other gaming mouses. They have been comments on the mouse being made of plastic but construction of the mouse is robust and sturdy.
The mouse went on back order once I placed my order which I was a little disappointed with, but the comms from Bluebyte promised it would be back in stock the week later – which it was.
Mouse itself is brilliant, especially with the gaming aspects & programmable mouse controls.
You can also add weights (included) to the bottom of the mouse to make is the perfect weight for your wrist.
Blatent rip off of a well known mouse (even the software to set-it up is identical), but theyh ave done a great job cloning it.
Well worth a purchase.
I was in the market for a “gaming mouse” but truthfully I had no idea what I was looking for and I had always been a console player.
I picked this mouse up based on recomendations from HotUkDeals for about 10, I wasn’t expecting much considering other products can be 30+ but I am incredibly pleased with the product. The mouse itself is sturdy and includes a set of weights that you can add/remove for your own preference.
The software included allows for several levels of customisation, everything from mouse sensitivity to polling speed and key configurations. Once you have set up a profile you can change to a selection of 4 profiles on the fly by pressing a single button.
I don’t really have any experience with high level gaming mice so I can’t make a comparison about pros/cons but for me this is an excellent mouse and with all the features and functions that the included software gives I can see this mouse staying with me for a very long time.
For the money I paid – 10 – t is a very good mouse. It fits in the hand very comfortably, and is very smooth to move. I have average hands, and this fits in very well. there is no finger strain, which comes with standard mouse
Its a very good quality mouse . i really love it
it has many advantages. i would be happy to pay 30 pounds for a mouse like this not the 10 pounds it actually cost me
Buy it with confidence it is a really good piece of kit
One single problem i wish the software had more profiles for the mouse.
Ive been through many different gaming mice at various price ranges but this has to be one of the best value for money mice out there and I highly recommend it.
It is very well sized even for my quite large hands and is very customize able thanks to the added weights and easy to use software.
Definite buy for anyone looking for a full featured gaming mouse at a low price.
Ordered on Wed afternoon, arrived Friday morning, can’t ask for more really. Well packaged and arrived in perfect condition.
It’s a 15 mouse with the features of an 80 one, don’t expect great build quality but it is a good performing mouse.
A word for the supplier who quickly informed the item was out of stock and provided a new stock / despatch date. Because I was in no hurry, the item was received in reasonably good time thereafter.
For the low price you are paying you are getting a premium quality to mouse.
I have used Razor, Logitech and steel series mice, I would say this mouse rivals these mice,
Ergonomically it is crafted well, and with adjustable weights you can adjust it to your preference,
I would highly recommend this mouse.
Software was quick and easy to install. The response time on this is instant. Really happy with this purchase. Thanks
I bought this mouse because it was so cheap for all the features it comes with. I was skeptical but once I got it I was extremely impressed. All the buttons require the exact right amount of pressure to operate and the weights make it feel a lot nicer to handle. Finally it’s a beautiful mouse and definitely worth the money you’ll pay for it – if you’re looking for a cheap gaming mouse then this is definitely the best mouse for you.
Received my mouse a week or two ago and love it!
At first I thought it might feel cheap compared to some of the higher end mouses on the market, but that really isn’t the case.. the software also allows you to do neat things with macros, button configs and lights. A really packed feature mouse at such a small price!
If you’re looking for a good gaming mouse and 9 buttons is enough for you, I’d definitely recommend getting this one. You won’t regret it.
This is a re-badged Anker mouse, so I used the Anker drivers as they were far superior. For the price this is one of the best mice on the market, I paid 10, cheaper than the comparable Anker products.
The mouse initially felt pretty big but it feels OK now and I even stopped using my wrist pad because I feel that my wrist is like 1-2mm over the table top.
the buttons work
so good
Great mouse, very reliable, good customization software. Was surprised by the fantastic customer service this company offers, overall a very good product.
Hands down, one of the best mice I have used.
The sculpting and materials used make for a comfortable experience, even for long gaming sessions. I’ve often found other mice too small for my large hands but this one is a very good size. It has a fairly sturdy feel too it and the weight customisation allows you to adjust the balance to your preference.
In use, the mouse feels very responsive. The four customisable DPIs (indicated by a series of four lights ) mean that you can quickly fine tune the sensitivity to multiple situations in game.
The only small con is the somewhat garish orange colour of the buttons, although it isn’t quite as bad as the product image makes out.
I used this mouse to play a variety of games, including League of Legends, Warcraft III and Osu!, and it works very well for all of these games.
One thing that would make the mouse better is if the LED settings changed all the lights and not just the one on the logo.
The mouse itself is very comfortable and the buttons are perfectly placed to be pressed quickly and easily when it is being held.
The 2 profiles are very useful, as I set one for when I am playing games where I can use the extra buttons to macro sets of key presses to make things quicker and the other profile is set for when I am just using my computer for things other than gaming.
Overall its an amazing mouse (especially considering the price) and would very recommend buying it.
Previous to this mouse, I’ve only ever had standard three button mice. It’s great to have the additional buttons, which are in a convenient place (especially the side buttons). I didn’t have much of an idea of what DPI can do, but it is quite obvious that having a greater choice and control of this feature is good for gaming. Having different DPI profiles was particularly useful, as I have different games that require, either greater speed or greater precision. Being able to switch between profiles quickly is perfect. Finally, the grip pad on the side is comfortable when playing games for a long time. I would definitely recommend this mouse and just can’t get over the price!
For the price not many mice can beat this one, as others have mentioned this is a rebranded anker mouse and so can use anker drivers.
The mouse fits nicely into the palm of your hand, with enough extra buttons for anyone. The 8200 dpi is a little overkill for most but is nice to have the option if it is needed.
With the anker drivers you can program macros to each button independantly.
I bought this mouse when is was on offer at 10 as I had never before used a gaming mouse and it looked like a good price to try one out for the first time, I have to say when I first bought it I was impressed by just what it came in, a very snazzy box that made me like it even more. When I started using it I found it to be a much more relaxing fit than my old mouse as it held my hand rather than made it form around it. The only complaint I have about this mouse is that I can’t seem to feel the difference between 1000 hertz and 750 hertz. This is a must buy for anyone looking for a starter gaming mouse.
I moved to this programmable mouse from a basic Microsoft wireless one.
The good:
– Great price for what you get
– Loads of features – most of them very useful
– Decent construction, including the cable
– Comfortable to use
The bad:
– Some of the button placement isn’t ideal, decreasing the utility of the programmable features a little
– The visual design is not to my personal taste – it looks a little bit like a toy
Like other reviewers, I also used the Anker driver – I have no idea if this improves the experience or not, other than that they are newer drivers and they work.
Overall, while I wouldn’t want to pay the RRP, for the price offered this is a thoroughly good product, represents excellent value for money and is likely to be a drastic improvement for anyone moving from a basic mouse.
As an aside, the seller (BlueByte) has been excellent. Delivery was going to be a few days beyond the original estimate, and they emailed to let me know and even offered a refund if this would not be acceptable. Great service!
Incidentally – I can confirm that BlueByte send a letter offering a free gift to those writing reviews. Personally, I don’t see why this is a big issue. They’re perfectly clear that this is not dependent on a positive review. Yes, this is likely to make people more positive about their purchase, but so what? I don’t see anything in the reviews that suggests people are lying about the mouse just to get a small freebiew.
Bought this mouse as a replacement for my broken death adder mouse my friend gave me. this mouse is quality, it has all sorts of customisable options anyone could ever need, ranging from the optional weights to the numerous macro buttons. 5/5 would recommend to gamer.
Been using this mouse for a month or so now and I’ve found it performs just as well as the more pricey mouses do. The bundled software is easy to use and allows you to program any of the buttons to your preference. It also has 4 adjustable DPI settings that you can program yourself. Overall I’ve been very pleased with the product.
Purchased this mouse when didnt really need a new one but price was a clincher. Did not expect a high quality mouse for the price but was nicely rewarded. This mouse is solid and very accurate. Customization ability is not for me but i can see how it could be ideal for serious gamers with macro functionality.
Very happy with price, delivery and product.
Great mouse for the money.
The mouse can be customised with the provided software – I’ve set the DPi, Polling rate and button assignment, it’s been great with games so far. I use the mouse when not gaming too as it’s nice and responsive.
I’ve had many mice over the years but none have come close to this for the money and I highly recommend it!
This is a very good mouse for the money. I have the No7 button set as the profile switch so as to easily change between mine & the Wife’s settings…. She prefers the thumb switch as a double click, & with the 8 & 9 buttons set to DPI+ & DPI-… it functions just like my old much more expensive Logitech G5. Very pleased with this purchase.
Nice feel and customization, it includes weights to add into the mouse to give it a heavier/lighter feel!.
I think this might be a rebranded Anker gaming mouse (which costs alot more). You can download the drivers from the Anker site, and then use it to customize the light colours etc (personally I turn them all off for gaming in the dark, I find the blue lights distracting)
7 programmable buttons (if you include the scroll click) and a button on the bottom to swap profiles. What more could you want?!?
Would of happily paid more for this mouse!
got this mouse a few weeks ago, great for gaming, don’t use the macro features as much as i should i guess, but the customization features of the mouse are good, makes it unique to your gaming style, and the individual games. Recommend it.
So I was initially sceptical about this mouse as it was under 10 inc delivery and seemed to promise a lot. As my MS Explorer 3 was over 5 years old I thought I’d take the plunge.
I’m not disappointed, with lots of customisation (via the software on the supplied CD) as well as lots of buttons, lights and even extra weights to install its ticked all the boxes for me.
Very impressed.
Best mouse I have used. It was easy to assign the buttons to different keys on the keyboard. My only criticism is that the product did not come with the cd advertised, but this was not a problem as I just downloaded the free anchor gaming mouse software. I Have only used it for Guild Wars 2 (assigned the three side buttons to specific functions), but it definitely does make combat a bit easier.
I’m not a gamer, so I cannot give a fair judgment of how this mouse performs in that respect. However, for the 10 I paid for it, this is an extremely good value product. I like the fact that you can change the DPI and the mouse comes supplied with metal weights that you can insert into the base. The USB cord also feels substantial.
Overall it feels like a quality product for the money.
Outstanding mouse. Bought this mouse a couple of weeks ago and don’t have any problems with it at all. The macro buttons aren’t too easy to press so mis-clicks are less likely than other mouses that have sensitive buttons.
My brother is currently using a 40 Logitech gaming mouse, and I find this mouse more comfortable to use and is the perfect size. I purchased this mouse for 9.97 which was an absolute bargain. Highly recommended (Would purchase again if needed)
I ordered this mouse as my previous model was a few years old and was well past it’s best. This mouse is amazing! The customization buttons and weights are a welcome addition to my onling gaming experience and I would highly recommend to any other pc gamer out there.
After I ordered I was informed there would be a slight delay as there had been a lot of interest in this mouse, I didn’t have to wait too much longer however and it was worth the wait.
Pro’s
– long mouse cable
– mouse is big (my personal preference)
– lots custom programmable buttons (excellent for gamers)
– customizable mouse light color
– 4 customizable DPI settings
Con’s
– some people might not like the size (its a personal preference thing)
– the overwhelming amount of buttons takes some getting use too
The mouse is pretty much a re-branded version of the Anker Precision Mouse with TechNet’s own logo, I would highly recommend this mouse for everyone. Construction, features and functionality are excellent.
This is one of the best gaming mouse I have come across in my gaming time. Fits great in the hand (some may differ in opinion due to hand sizes, perfect for me) and just the right amount of extra buttons for gaming. Love the light up T the colour of which can be changed to any! Personal DPi selection is very useful when switching between normal usage and gaming, a great all-round mouse with a even better price tag!
5/5 – If it lasts I don’t see myself ever needing another mouse.
Recently purchased this after my second Logitech mouse gave up the ghost. Fancied a change and didn’t want to spend a ridiculous amount so purchased this. All in all, the build quality feels good, a little more plasticy feeling than some but still good, and the amount of customization is as good as the Logitechs I’ve previously used.
The only thing that took a little adapting to was the location of the scroll wheel, I instinctively press the button at the front and the scroll wheel is a little further back.
All in all, very happy, thank you!
This is a great gaming mouse and is also good for everyday use. The scroll wheel is a little too loose, I prefer a wheel with a more positive feel as it scrolls. It is adequate though. The mouse fits in the hand nicely, it’s a good weight and this can be adjusted with the weights provided if you prefer it heavier.
In summary – great mouse at a low price.
