I’ve used this gaming mouse for nearly a month, so here are some advantages and disadvantages:
Pro:
-High-quality materials.
-Interesting RGB LED effects.
-Greatsensitivity.
-Affordable.
Con:
-It makes a squeak sound when you use it a lot, especially on the right click.
-Can’t locate the software to alter the colours (you can still change the light modes by pushing a button on the mouse) or programme buttons at all; I even contacted them through their website, but haven’t heard back in over a month.
Comfortable to handle and two top buttons are easier to change mouse activities. Also helpful to change settings. Forward and backwards buttons have a different feel to them therefore easier to indentify while using.
Had to buy a second, because it’s so good that my kid keeps “borrowing” mine from my home working setup! Really is good, comfortable and accurate. good value for money too compared to other models at higher prices.
Drivers are not in the box and the link listed doesn’t work. However, customer service emailed a drop box over in about a day. Teen feels now feels good quality, very adjustable and he is delighted to be able to programme macros. And the lights are cool
What I originally said:
No drivers available. No cd includes (fair enough) and no downloads on the site. Now previous mouse won’t work eithe
Love this mouse. I’ve played for 10+ hours already and it is very satisfactory for the price.
It came in a frustration free package with the mouse and a manual. The mouse can be plug & play to be used immediately.
The mouse is light weighted even though it is quite bulky. It is a little bit shorter than my previous mouse and fit to average hand and bigger. Quite ergonomic I would say and has some space for thumb rest to grab the mouse properly. The mouse button 4 and 5 is quite high so quite hard to misclick it. The button all function properly and positioned nicely. You can easily change the DPI with the two buttons above the scroll button.
The mouse can be programmed to your suit for the LED colour and set up macro. The software must be downloaded from the Tecknet website then just unzip the file to use it. You can change the colour of the LED to your suit and adjust the intensity of the LED. Not sure how the macro works because I would not be using it. By default each DPI has been assigned to each colour and can be edit using the software.
The only problem I have with this mouse is why it has DPI higher than 2400. Would be perfect if it started with 400 DPI and has increment of 400. Overall it is a good mouse with its affordable low price.
Works well looks good and you can change the DPI speed and light speed and colour sequence/effec
very good for my smaller hands . the last mouse i got was just too big so i returned and bought this. perfect for girl gamers
All round great mouse, low price or not. I use it for 3D modelling and animation an it’s never let me down. My only problem is that it’s a bit big for my hand but I am 5″3 so I doubt many people will have that issue.
I’ve been using the TECKNET RGB Gaming Mouse for awhile now and I’m very satisfied with it. Overall the mouse does everything well. It feels well made, performs great and looks good with the RGB lighting (see video). Once you factor in that the mouse is very competitively priced and you have an item which is hard to pass up.
For me, the size and weight of the mouse is just right. I’ve tried a few of the competitors gaming mice and always felt that they’d been made to be heavier than necessary. This mouse is comfortable to rest your hand on and is heavy enough that it feels like a quality item which will last. Setting up the mouse was literally just plugging it in and setting my preferred DPI (as show in the listing’s picture). The mouse’s cord isn’t too short or too long.
The sensitivity of the mouse is easily adjusted and it’s always tracked smoothly and this has been noticeable when playing FPS games.
All the buttons and scroll wheel have a satisfying click to them.
I would definitely recommend this mouse to anyone looking for a quality mouse, even if they never play any PC games at all!
It says that there are 7 buttons on it but there’s only 6 programmable ones. Both the buttons underneath the mouse wheel function as dpi changer.
Excellent mouse, so much more comfortable than my last one, buttons are easy to use and led options are a great addition, mouse sensitivity is easily changed with the top buttons and, plenty cable but was unable to download the software to edit customisable options but I wouldn’t have changed much anyway, great mouse for every day use!
A great budget mouse! Lots of different colour variations, easy set up – just plug and play!
This mouse is a must for gamers who don’t want to spend a small fortune on a mouse.
You have the comfort of a nicely designed grip and hand position, to the sleek feel and satisfying accuracy of a gaming mouse.
The colours are mesmerising to watch and playing with the settings is just a bonus.
I am pleased with this mouse. It is comfortable and quite accurate for me in gaming sessions.
Simple and easy to use! The leds really add atmosphere to it and it’s a very comfortable grip too!!
This item came delivered in plain brown recyclable frustration-free packaging which is always nice to see.
Mouse works fine as a plug and play, however, it really needs the drivers downloaded to get the best out of it, the drivers and utility download (Windows Only) allow customisation of the DPI and colours otherwise the colours change when you change DPI
The mouse is a little small for my large hands but the rest of the household has no issues with it (not an uncommon problem in this house) so I’ve asked them what they think as an ‘average’ user.
All buttons are close to being in the perfect locations for the way their hand sits and the left thumb buttons have a textured area below them which is nice.
Overall, a great mouse. It does exactly what it should and for the price, this is an excellent value for money product.
First thing I noticed was how comfortable this mouse is. Your fingers and thumb sit into recessed areas making it feel like you have total control and the finish has a nice soft coating giving it a quality feel. A couple of games were tested and although accuracy for FPS was lacking (quite jittery) RTS and general use was really quite good with the main front mouse buttons having a good click to them but the side ones not so much. The choice of colours and effects are plenty and after settling on an RGB theme, it matches my other Tecknet peripherals perfect. My only gripe, and this may sound odd, is that with the larger than usual main mouse button, the wheel seems to be over to the right a tad too much and feels a bit of a stretch. Could just be me used to other mice though. For the price, this is a good mouse with great aesthetics. Suitable for right-handed people only.
My old Logitech USB wired mouse served me for more than ten years, so I was not really upset when it finally gave up the ghost a week or so ago. So, I decided to buy this Tecknet mouse. The only thing in the title that put me off initially was the word “GAMING”. I certainly never played any games with computing device. But the mouse turned out to be very nice and stable, convenient in the hand and very responsive. The extra Back/Forward buttons on the side are very useful when interacting with a web browser. Another good thing about this mouse is that it is wired, rather than wireless. Not only this means much higher precision when moving the pointer, but also complete absence of any radiation which is emitted by the wireless types of mice.
here is 1 thing I HATE about gaming peripherals like gaming mice and keyboards.. and that is crazy amount of colourful lights…
This mouse even though it has some lights they aren’t all over the place and overly distracting.
Only problem I had with it was the “slippery pads” coming off (solved it with 1 drop of superglue)
The cable is reinforced with fabric on the outside which makes it a little bit stiff, can be annoying if you have clutter on your desk..
If you looking for a cheaper option that doesn’t look like a christmas tree this is a good optio
Although this is a gaming mouse, I am actually using it as a normal day-2-day working mouse. The mouse is a great size and nicely fits into my palm making it very comfortable. The buttons are very well placed so no issues.
It has 5 LED colours which can be set to 4 different modes (standard, respiration, neon and finger tapping).
Using the downloadable app, you can create different profiles and customise the following, DPI setting, Lighting, Polling Rate, Mouse Speed, Double Click Speed and Scroll Speed.
Overall the build quality is good and I have been using it over a week with no issues. Very happy with it 5/5!
Looks rly nice, good quality plastic, shame about the braised mouse wire.
You don’t need to spend ridiculous amounts on a gaming mouse, this is super tactile and responsive and actually looks nice – better than the geometric fat monstrosities you see.
I bought this for work as my current work mouse is only 3 buttons and i find it quiet frustrating. it looks and feels good, havent really tested it out for gaming but for a low priced product i think it would be pretty good
Bought this for my son and his new PC. It is easy to set up and has multiple DPI steps, it is comfortable in hand and I would recommend it to any user!
Delivered in Tecknets standard plain brown recyclable frustration free packaging. Easy to open and contents well protected in delivery. Personally a big fan of this no nonsense and 100% recyclable approach. Wish more manufactures would see the light.
The mouse is a good fit in the hand, although its slightly larger than the mouse included in my Tecknet mouse & keyboard bundle I use as work daily driver. Weight is on the heavier side for true gaming mice but not a great deal more.
All buttons are close to being in the perfect locations for my grip style (hybrid).
The Left thumb buttons have a textured area below them aiding grip.
DPI cycle switch allows you to toggle DPI higher and lower without needing to cycle through all other levels before you get to the one you want. Big plus!
Mouse works fine as a plug and play, however it really needs the drivers downloaded to get the best out of it.
By default without the drivers, the DPI button also changed the lighting colours as well as the DPI. So if you want blue lighting, you will have to use 1500 DPI, or Yellow at 7200 DPI.The Drivers and utilities download changes this and allows you to do far more customisation.
So far it has had 3 weeks heavy use, day and night, and I can’t fault its performance in any way.
Overall, a great mouse. It does exactly what I want it to do, with no compromise on quality or functionality. For the price being asked, this is another excellent value for money Tecknet product.
I am very happy with this mouse, been 2 months of usage now and no problems shown yet.
Fits comfortably in your hand and is quite lightweight. The perfect product for budget gaming
Bought for music production tasks requiring precision and control – excellent for purpose and looks good without the crazy appearance of most ‘gaming’ products! Love it.
I’ve been using this mouse for several weeks now.
Purchased it as a replacement for my old one and I’m honestly impressed.
The shape of it is comfortable and fits in my hand perfectly, material of it seems to be of high quality so it feels nice while holding it as well as it has a braided cable for extra durability.
The two buttons on the side make it easy and convenient while spending time on internet as you can go back and forth in pages with ease.
It has 5 dpi settings which makes it convenient while gaming, specially when changing Inbetween different dpi is easy. Instead of a regular button it’s a back and forth sliding button which you can choose your preferred dpi and it’s color coded (convenient while going from game to game)
Overall very happy with a purchase
I have been using this mouse for a few days now – mostly it was purchased to play World of Warcraft Classic with.
Generally the mouse is of high quality material for the price. I suppose I should say that everything in this review should be taken with a view to the price of this product because despite one or two small flaws this mouse is tremendous value – for the price. Yes there are better gaming mice out there but they will cost many times more.
The mouse worked right out of the neatly packed frustration free box (see picture).
Once I was happy everything was working I typed in the URL from the manual to download the user interface software for the mouse. It took me to a page that didn’t load. Not great but maybe the manual was just out of date as printed material has to be printed way in advance so maybe the website address had changed. Anyway a big of Googling had me locate the correct software (see pic). The one for my mouse was GM269-BLACK-V2. It installed and everything worked well.
The software allows you to set macros, customise the RGB lighting, the DPI and much more. Very impressive for a less than 12 mouse. The only caveat I should share is the software tries to load at Windows startup and every time it does Windows asks for permission at least once and sometimes twice. This gets annoying after a while. My solution was to get the settings of the mouse as you like them then disable the software from starting with windows. It seems to save the settings even when the software isn’t running so its only a minor annoyance.
As a whole the mouse feels good in the hands – if anything I have relatively small hands for a bloke and it feels slightly bigger than what I am used to but not uncomfortably so.
In essence the mouse does what it says on the tin and works well.
Edit: After about a weeks worth of use the middle wheel has developed a slight squeaking noise (hey it is a mouse after all!) when being rolled. In no way does it affect the functional operation of the mouse and I hope it will go away after the mouse beds-in with use.
I bought this mouse to replace a 6-year old TechNet mouse that I had mistakenly broken, and I am really impressed. It has the same braided cable as my last mouse (and since that lasted 6 years, I think the quality is there) but seems even smoother to use. I use it for gaming as well as general use and I think it’s pretty good, though it lacks all of the macro buttons that some of the (40+) dedicated gaming mice provide. Since I never use those macro buttons anyway, this mouse is great for my needs.
This is a great mouse and a good price too.
Used for work and gaming and works well. Software is rubbish though to control the mouse.
Nice Weight to the mouse. Feels good in the hand. Nice to be able to change the speed just by pressing a button.
his product was bought as a replacement for my husbands old one. this one he loves its great he says easy to use loves the colour features on it and most of all it works. he old one was all over the place and the courser pace was too fast. this one is much better, it also works well for gaming.
-Pros-
First and foremost this mouse is extremely good for its price, It has software that allows you to customise DPI, lighting, polling rate, mouse speed, double-click/scroll speed and button assignment. All of which I would expect to find on a mouse twice the price or even more. I spent a good few minutes playing around with these settings to find my perfect setting which I don’t think I could live without now. The lighting settings were a personal favourite of mine and I couldn’t decide what infinite combination of colours I wanted so decided to make it scroll through all of them on a loop (Yes you can do this). The button for switching DPI on the fly is useful for gaming, for instance, the switch to a lower DPI on snipers in an FPS is extremely useful for me.
The material is a nice velvety plastic that feels great to touch and gives a feel of luxury. Its minimalist design prevents and small nooks that are difficult to clean which is a personal gripe of mine so this is greatly appreciated.
-Cons-
I sit here writing this review for a second time as my thumb accidentally hit the backspace button shortcut on the mouse, this is the least of problems I have with the ergonomics of this mouse. The most glaring issue I have is that after a couple of hours gaming you can really start to feel a strain in your palm as its back is rather plump. I think I am used to having a lip at the bottom of the mouse with help the rest your hand without straining which I believe is the problem here.
Although I have praised the customisation software, finding it was quite the hassle. The link provided didn’t work and after searching for it online I found it on an extremely sketchy looking website. This fear was doubled when it asked for administrative rights and a restart, against my better judgement I proceeded. Luckily this time it worked out it’s just it looked far from professional.
-Overall-
A fantastic mouse for its price range and I think you’d find it hard-pressed to get something similar at its price range. the only problem maybe my own experience with mouse ergonomics so I wouldn’t let that put you off an otherwise fantastic mouse.
If you are looking for a quality budget gaming mouse I’d highly recommend this. Elegant design that feels more expensive than the price tag implies. The driver software is well done too although I’d recommend disabling startup.
Yep it works fine so far for me on windows 10.i wish it was a little bigger but thats because im used to my old mouse
This product is far greater than expected. The software the mouse comes with offers a lot of options for you and each one is very simple and easy to understand. The macros you can set are just an added bonus. Could he very useful for MOBA gamers. The mouse has a good weight without it being to heavy and the ergonomics are amazing. I have quite large hands and it fits comfortably even though it’s only a mid size mouse. The clicks from M1 and M2 are very nice and feel really smooth. The DPI settings are perfect and super accurate. I’m using 1200dpi for general browsing and 750dpi for FPS games. The location of the dpi button is perfect aswell. Being easy to flick up or down to change the setting on the fly. Unlike some mice that you need to scroll through all the settings. This is a simple up, down toggle.
This mouse is a quality product and bargain at this price. I love the LED lights, you can change the colours with the button on top of the mouse and it looks and feels great in your hand. Its plug and play just plug it in your usb port and after few seconds its ready to use. I love the ergonomics design and the cable length is very decent. The mouse is very responsive and you can adjust the sensitivity and DPI settings according to your requirements. Scroll wheel is very smooth and side buttons are very useful. Overall I am very happy with the product and would be more than happy to recommend to anyone who needs a gaming mouse.
Out of the box this is a great plug and play USB mouse. Programmable buttons default to “back/forward” and the light up coloured strips change as you increase/decrease the sensitivity.
Tecknet provide a downloadable piece of software which allows you to customise the button assignments or set up macros, as well as changing the colour profiles to suit your preference – a nice little feature.
Amazing Quality – Very Good Item. Works Perfect With My Computer, Brilliant When Gaming! Highly Recommend!
Delivered in TeckNet’s recyclable packaging. (Wish more companies would do this)
Good fit in the hand, although its slightly smaller than their wireless gaming mouse.
All buttons are close to being in the perfect location for my grip. The Left thumb buttons have a textured area below them aiding grip.
I was slightly disappointed not to have the additional aim button on this mouse, which its wireless version does, however this is only my preference.
Mouse works fine as a plug and play, however it really needs the drivers downloaded to get the best out of it.
By default without the drivers, the DPI button also changed the lighting colours as well as the DPI. So if you want blue lighting, you will have to use 1500 DPI, or Yellow at 7200 DPI.
The Drivers and utilities download alters this and allows you to do far more.
This mouse has had a weeks heavy use from all my family and everyone is happy with it..
As always TechNet have created a mouse that is very well priced and great to use.
Can’t fault it – arrived quickly – well packaged – worked straight out the box. No need to install drivers etc.
Quick scrolling, nice colours etc – Seems very accurate. Son is happy to use it for his gaming etc. Very decent and well put together mouse for the price.
I’ve been using this mouse for over a week now and I must say i’m very impressed.
I have a corsair m65 pro as my main mouse but received this mouse to test in exchange for a honest review.
The comfort of this mouse is second to none, fits in my hand perfect and does not get tiring.
I also don’t notice a difference in performance over the corsair model (although i’m not the greatest online player so better players might disagree).
Unfortunately the software keeps crashing on my computer so I cant customize it or play about with the RGB lighting. I haven’t had much time to try and fix it so it may be a problem with my computer and not the software itself.
Overall a very good value mouse and although it wont be replacing my corsair mouse it will come in as a very compatible back up or if I build a 2nd PC for my sons this will be perfect .
I love this mouse.
It feels good and is a good weight.
Really comfortable in my hand and smooth.
This is a fantastic little mouse that performs so much better than other similar priced options. Although, to be clear, this mouse was not bought for gaming but for use in Cad applications due to the adjustable DPI and programmable buttons that it offers. It is very smooth in practice and glides across a mouse mat, although I have not attempted to use it without one.
The mouse seems to have been carefully designed to fit your hand well and is very comfortable to use. It does feel quite different to standard mouse’s to begin with but after a few days of use, it has become so much more comfy to use. This is partly due to it having a natural weight in the hand that makes it feel solidly built. The cable is also very long (maybe, unnecessarily so?) and seems to be protected which should make it last longer. The mouse was installed instantly on Windows 10 without needing to download any drivers on software which was good.
The eight buttons were easily customisable and were detected by the AutoCAD application that I was using which has allowed me to make a lot of shortcuts to make drafting a lot easier. The scroll wheel can be used for clicking as well although I have not set this up as a shortcut. When scrolling in/ out to zoom, the motion is smooth with only a small bit of resistance. The DPI function is useful for changing the mouse speed when switching between detailed drawings where I need it slow and precise and then back again. The colour of the mouse changes based on the DPI selected which is a useful reminder and makes it appear that I have the fanciest mouse in the office. All in all, very happy with the purchase.
I’ve used Razer DeathAdder mice for over 10 years, and they have all ultimately suffered from a double-clicking problem (where they double-click when you single click). I decided to see if there was a cheap alternative so I don’t have to keep shelling out 50-60 for a new mouse every year. Very happy with the Tecknet mouse so far. It has the same soft touch coating, is comfortable to use, and feels much more expensive than it is. If I don’t get issues with double-clicking I can see myself sticking with Tecknet in future.
This wired gaming mouse is well designed. Baring in mind it is a wired mouse I have found it to be very responsive in terms of all the button, the scroll wheel and the movement of the mouse as well on a variety of surfaces. The cable is braided which nice and the surface of the mouse is a smooth satin black which is nice to touch without highlighting fingerprints. In the frustration free box there is the mouse itself, bubble wrapped with instructions and warranty card for an additional free 6 month warranty on top of the 18 months already supplied just by registering. You can easily change the DPI sensitivity which also changes the LED colour. Overall, a comfortable and responsive wired mouse, reliable for gaming so far.
Only colours are the DPI ones, software seems a bit of a waste of time downloading. Works as it should/as expected. Good quality mouse.
The adjustable DPI is great, makes driving vehicles in games a breeze.
Nice smooth mouse with a largish size, perfect for people with medium to large hands.
Cheap and does the trick. The software for the lighting is hard to find as the link doesn’t work but using part of the link provided takes you to a page with all the mice listed.
Works perfectly fine in almost any surface, is not heavy and the cable seems durable.
The switch to control the resolution is very handy, I like it.
I use it every day to work on my laptop, not for gaming.
Very happy with the purchase at the moment, let’s see with time.
The best mouse for anyone on a budget very affordable and has its own tailored service application just like the high end mouses

TeckNet Gaming Mouse 7200DPI Programmable Mouse Wired PC Computer Gaming Mice with 6 Buttons, 5 DPI Adjustable Levels, 16.8 Million RGB Light, Macros, AVAGO Optical Sensor for Win 10/8/7/XP/Vista/Linux
When the mouse arrived I was very surprised with the build quality compared to what I had paid for this. My previous gaming mouse cost six times more than this and to be honest, this does everything that my previous mouse did (some things better ), this mouse feels just as nice to me.
The TeckNet Gaming Mouse feels quite solid and well built. It is a full sized mouse which has been ergonomically designed to fit your hand, in fact it’s very comfortable to use. The mouse also has a bit of weight to it when compared to similar sized mice of this price range. The cable is a generous 1.5 metres long, the cable is also cloth covered which is a big plus in my book, the cable is a little stiff but appears to be very strong which is ideal for the abuse the mouse may receive in a gaming environment.
You are provided with eight buttons which are programmable with the included comprehensive software. The middle scroll wheel both clicks and scrolls, the click is precise and not too stiff as on some mice. The scroll is smooth with a slight amount of ratchet resistance to stop the wheel spinning out of control when not in use. The buttons are not soft touch, you do have to click them down but they do seem positive and precise. You are also provided with a DPI button to change the speed of your cursor. The lowest DPI setting is nice and slow ideal for sniping or moving the mouse cursor very gently. The highest setting moves the cursor very fast indeed, ideal for those hectic situations where you need to move quickly. The mouse uses a red laser on your mouse mat as opposed to blue, I personally prefer red as it’s a lot easier on the eye.
I just plugged the mouse into my Windows 10 computer and it was recognised within seconds without any software installed. Software is supplied on an included mini CD so that you can program your mouse but it’s not essential. If you are happy to use the default settings then it’s truly plug & play with no software installed. The included software will allow you to program each button with a variety of different settings. You can even setup macros for your buttons where you can have up to 100 key commands in each macro, although I can’t see anyone wanting to use that amount.
In operation I found the mouse to be very smooth without jitter or jumping, it glides across the screen without issue. I am using a black cloth covered TeckNet mouse mat which matches nicely with this mouse. The scroll wheel in operation is smooth and scrolls nicely but it does feel a little looser than my previous mouse, the scroll wheel is also a little rattly but I’m sure I will get used to that. The DPI button will change the mouse speed on each click of the DPI button. The illumination colour of your mouse also changes depending on which DPI setting you choose, which is a very handy feature as my previous mouse didn’t have that feature so the only way to tell what DPI setting I had was to guess by the speed of my cursor. With the colour changing you will always know which DPI setting you are using.
The DPI settings along with colour coded lights are – 500 DPI (Red), 1000 DPI (Green), 1500 DPI (Blue) and 2500 DPI (orange) these settings should cover most eventualities. To be honest I can’t see you needing more than this mouse offers.
Supplied contents –
1X Strong frustration free box
1X TeckNet Gaming Mouse High Precision Programmable LED Mouse
1X User Guide/Software manual
1X Mini CD with software (Only needed if you wish to program the mouse)
I’m over the moon with this mouse considering what I paid for it. The mouse compares favourably with my previous big name more costly mouse. I highly recommend this if you are on a budget and are looking for a very capable programmable gaming mouse (which incidentally is also a good mouse for everyday use)
Highly Recommended!
(If you found my review helpful please click ‘Yes’ below)
The multifunction buttons work great in Windows, I couldn’t get them to work properly in Mac OSX due to the lack of software available. For Windows installations it comes with a CD to custom programme the buttons if you so wish.
Overall a good mouse for the price, and great to use for extended periods of time.
I like this mouse. It tracks well on different surfaces, has four DPI profiles and allows the user to set their own custom profile. It is built rather well although it is cheep feeling. The cable is braided which is nice to see – even from a mouse of this price point.
The plastic used is shiny and not matt, therefore becoming a fingerprint magnet. The driver works okay – I could not find anything to change the colours on the mice though (so unless i’m missing something – that’s why it lost a star)
Overall, it’s okay. It works for the most basic function although I would personally buy one of tecknets other offerings.
This mouse does the job for a cheep price, this mouse isn’t going to knock you out of the park with high tech software to program the different buttons or stun you with being lightning fast but it does what its meant to. If you are wanting a cheep mouse to use for gaming, work or just to look good this mouse will do the job. Its easy to use and get used to and fits nice in the hand, it doesn’t feel uncomfortable to use for a long gaming spree. The only thing I think should be changed is the color customization, you select the color of the lights on the mouse(that are slightly dim…) by selecting the sensitivity setting you would like ranging from red, green, blue to yellow, one of the main reasons i bought this is because most of the lights around my PC are blue and I wanted to keep this theme going. This isn’t a big deal but could be a make or break to others buying. Overall this is pretty, good price for a decent mouse that does the job well.
Gets the job done. Inexpensive but handy programmability with the extra buttons and included software. Great service from SPEEDY GOAL who supplied mine.
I’m not a pro gamer, but a regular casual of many types of gaming and this mouse has proven to be a good buy and has taken some punishment without any failures. software for it is available and does the job well enough.
I’ve had this mouse nearly a year now and I can’t find anything wrong with it. It’s comfy, even for my tiny hands. I never accidently press buttons I don’t mean to, the sensitivity goes up in nice stages too. I would most definitely, and have, recommended this product to anyone i know looking for new gear. The cable is just the right length for all you cable management fiends!
A bit plasticy, but hasn’t let me down and feels good in the hand. Bottom line I’d buy it again.
It’s not Naga but it’s ok. Does for my mum and dad and little sister. For the price, can’t go wrong. If you’re flush with cash, get a Razer.
A good emergency replacement or something to use on a budge
Feels solid in the hand, is reliable and comfortable in use. Just enough extra buttons for me. I bought this a good number of years ago and have never had a single problem with it. Nice long cord on it and you can even change the colours of the LED lights inside it (if your case is fancier than mine with LEDs of it’s own you can co-ordinate it).
Well recommended.
Meets my casual gamer needs. Fits snuggly in my hand. Gotten used to having the extra buttons in my gameplay, that I can no longer return to a simpler mouse. Adjustable weight contributes to better gaming experience.
I’m an IT professional and work with a keyboard and mouse all day. I do have a Dell five button mouse at work, though the side buttons are never used. I now use this mouse at home and although it took a little adjusting to I am more than happy with it.
There are internal weights so that you can adjust that to your liking and I was a little sceptical about this at first but found that having a heavier weight under your palm makes mouse movements where you swing the finger end from side to side easier; you have a more defined fulcrum, I guess. There is plenty of illumination given out from the mouse which is no wonder given the number of LEDs that are in it. I’m not sure about the large light that goes under your palm as, well, it’s under your palm so you don’t actually get to see it most of the time. Luckily the level of illumination and how much it changes from colour to colour can be set in software. Speaking of which it comes with some good, customisable software and I have a few different profiles setup and switch between them. There is also the ability to create macros on the fly, though I have never deliberately used this, only accidentally triggering it from time to time. The cable is of the woven type and is excellent at not getting kinks and at behaving on the desktop and given all the other features, I have to say that this is my favourite. I may buy more mouses (mice seems wrong for a peripheral) in future, with more or fewer feature but I think that is something I will look for from now on.
Happy.
A do like this mouse, but after some heavy use, the middle mouse button at times struggles to work, it can go for weeks with no issues and then for a little while it struggles. But to reiterate, this is due to heavy use, however it the middle mouse button has less use than that of the left-click, which has not failed at all. Furthermore, it may be possible its down to luck.
The only thing that I couldn’t get to work was the macro recording and playing. But then I am using it mainly under Linux. Button mapping took a bit of wrestling under Linux, but was possible. After doing it all natively I discovered that I could probably have mapped them under Windows as it seems to save it to the mouse. Other than that, all is good.
Been using two of these for over a year now and they`re still going strong, well worth purchasing. Mine have been used, abused, dropped, thrown, tugged, spilt on, lost, found, yanked out , shoved back in and they`re both still pulsing away merrily. they`re a good size for my huge mitts, ergonomic and programmable. Top marks.
Great mouse, only problem is the mouse wheel needed oiled after it began to “squeek” But there again it is a mouse.
The functionality is great, however I found the body a bit too big which makes it a little uncomfortable when in prolonged use.
Simply a rebrand of an Anker mouse. It works well enough for me (I’ll be awful at FPS games no matter what mouse I use haha), though the button to the right of the middle thumb button has started double clicking.
I like the ability to toggle DPI settings with a switch, allows me to get extra precision in appropriate circumstances.
I thought this would be really hard to train, since the experience with my last mouse. However this mouse is better. The tail is a beautiful length, definitely over 30cm, equating in a fine specimen indeed. The two ears at either side of its little slidey nose are great, and the side butto. ….wait, it’s not actually a live mouse….
Great mouse!
Pro’s
– Fairly cheap
– Feels and looks nice
– Lots of customisability – lights, weights, four customisable DPI settings with a small button to switch between them, macro settings
– Works very well
Cons
– Cheap materials (but still worth the price)
– One of the side buttons is a little awkward to reach, though I do have small hands xD
Overall, recommended for any gamer who wants a solid, fairly inexpensive gaming mouse with lots of customisability. 10/10.
Well packaged and timely delivery.
This is a very nice gamming mouse especially considering the price.
The mouse feels very well made and all the buttons have a responsive feel with a nice audible click noise when pressed, while the included software all worked as it should.
Highly recommend this mouse.
It’s alright. If only I could change the colour of the mouse wheel and DPI lights rather then just the light that your hand covers when using it.
The three mouse buttons on the side take a little getting used to because of the positioning but are awesome otherwise.
The driver that allows you to customise the buttons is also really nice and easy to use.
I have tried a range of mice over the last few years and was a bit pre-preemptive of this one due to the claim of very high performance at such a low price. However, this product does what many have failed and that’s perform fantastically.
First off packaging. The mouse comes packaged rather well in the post and the box for the mouse itself is rather plain cream, but very clean looking, giving the impression of a high quality product.
First off, the bad. The grippy area seen around the foward / back buttons is not present on the other side of the mouse and instead it is glossed plastic. This does bring the issue of sweat and grime into play, but can be lived with after a while.
My other major gripe with this mouse is the inability to disable or change the scrollwheel light. This would have made the product near enough perfect in terms of appearance to me.
Now, the good. The control panel software that comes with the mouse is very easy to use, allowing you to setup DPI settings for the mouse, ranging from 800 to 8200 and save them as profiles, you are, however, only allowed 2 profiles, which is ok for me personally, but others may find this an issue. There are also settings available to customize the light colour at the back of the mouse, under the tecknet logo, with virtually any colour, and set the pulse rate for the light. All of the buttons on the mouse can also be set to a different key press or key combination, this can also be saved under a profile along with the DPI settings.
For a person with big hands, I find this mouse to be just the right size and be more than usable, with the buttons being firm enough for you to not accidentally click them.
This mouse is also able to record macro key presses as well, however I have not personally used this.
I bought the 8200DPI version and I’m pleased with the price however maybe I was lucky considering other negative reviews. I don’t find the buttons above the scroll wheel that easy to press but I don’t need them. The mouse is very comfortable and the weights in the bottom are a nice extra. I’ve found leaving them all in suits my needs perfectly. The cable is very robust (not easy to tangle or break) and is quite long so it shouldn’t struggle to reach the back usb ports of a computer chassis.
Such a great mouse ! It’s a razer rebuilt which I loooove, such good quality, I bought this months ago and I’m still using it now ! they’ve even changed the logo and it doesn’t look aas tacky but it runs like a charm anyway so I’m not too fussy, the way it looks is just a plus. Definitely buy this.
Works as a standard mouse out of the box on OpenSuse 13.1 but requires some mapping to get all buttons to function. Works perfectly on the Windows laptop. I did notice that after turning off the pulsating light with the Windows app the mouse caused my old and creaking desktop to hang randomly. I set it back to the default profile and the hang ups stopped.
This is a non-issue for me though, the pulse doesn’t bother me, and I think my old computer is the issue rather than to mouse so I am giving it full marks.
This mouse is comparable to the 40s and 50s quids branded ones. Only the scroll could have been easily improved, placing it forward, but nothing that makes me regret.
I play a lot of FPS games and the mouse works great for that. I haven’t had any problems with tracking or jumpy cursor, like my old mouse did on some surfaces.
All buttons can be programmed, even as key presses, so you could make one of them work as L or a different key. There’s also a macro function, but I haven’t played around with that yet.
Good for aiming in shooting games, u need to get used to it though, make sure u are comfortable with a bulky mouse under ur palm.
Had this mouse for a few months now to give it a work-in.
And please to say I am very happy with the mouse, the mouse has a great fit to the hand.
The scroll wheel has the perfect resistance for me and all of the buttons on the mouse are of easy reach and use.
The software that comes with the mouse is great, I have set up two profiles one for general Internet-ing etc and a profile for gaming so I can use the centre button on the left of the mouse for Push-To-Speak in games.
I don’t use the full 8200DPI this mouse has as I prefer around 5000 DPI but nice to know its ready for me if I every need more.
Downfall…
There are a few things that don’t degrade my though of the mouse but you lot may find useful.
Only the lit logo on the back of the mouse can change colour the DPI mode indicator lights and the mouse wheel are stuck at blue and the colours of the light of the logo don’t really change as much as the program suggests in the end I stayed with the default to match the rest of the mouse lights.
I needed a replacement for my old Logitech g500 which stopped working. I wanted something good, maybe even better, but not have to pay too much for it. I was a bit suspicious of what the quality would be like considering the price, but it is really good! The weight in it is perfect and with its ‘low friction Teflon feet’ it seems to glide across my desk. I would highly recommend this mouse to anyone who is either gaming or doing something that requires precision.
Glad I went back to a cordless mouse with this one. Not done much with the programming of the buttons yet though. Feels good in your hand and I love the cosmetic colour changing option. Good fun mouse.
This mouse is the third gaming mouse I have had and is far the best one I have used. The additional buttons on side and top allow me to play a range of games with it and quick type. The best thing is the size, if you are a person with a larger hand this is in my opinion the cheaper alternative to the ‘pro gaming’ mice.
The buttons all seem to work still and it seems to be of steady make, if not a little plasticy in design. I would recommend this for people who play games, who have a larger hand and do not want to spend 50+ on the competitors.
For the price, this is a great product. The software to configure the mouse can be downloaded from the manufacture website and offers lots ways for you to customise the mouse to your liking. You can also add and remove weight to the mouse to make it feel the way you like. I’ve used it for a few months now and have had no issues with it. I’ve played Battlefield 4 and Dota 2 with it and I’m very happy with the performance of this mouse.
This is an amazing gaming mouse, every aspect of it can be customised to your specific needs, even down to the weight as it has a compartment to the wrist end of the mouse with 8 little weights to give you an added dimension & in PvP games its really noticeable.
The DPI settings can be fully customised with 2 profiles each with 4 DPI settings, an led bar on the mouse lets you know which setting you are currently in.
You can save the profiles as a config file so you can setup any number of profiles for each game if thats your wish.
You can even customise the (T) vanity led to different colours so you’ll know what profile you’re in. That vanity led can be ANY colour you want.
You can record macro’s on it, i haven’t tried this yet so i can’t really comment on but if its as well done as the rest of the mouse it’ll be good.
It’s very comfortable mouse, with a good arch for the hand a rubber thumb grip & rubber mouse wheel, the metallic buttons are ok, i would have preferred a different colour but it’ll do.
This is a serious bit of gaming kit and for the price i’m blown away, it’s easily the quality of a razer mouse.
If you’re like me and wondering if this is too good to be true, remember amazon has a returns policy, but i doubt you’ll want to send it back after actually using it.
Got it for 22 or something. Okay the pulsing ‘T’ logo isn’t quite as cool as say the Razer logo but come on… your hands over the damn thing when your using it anyway.
Extremely comfortable mouse, not too big not too small in my opinion. Setting different DPI profiles is great! Even has 4 little lights on the side to show you which one of the 4 profiles you’re on!
Really nice and responsive mouse, no need to spend so much money on gear when there’s things out there like this! Worth every penny and probably would pay the whole 60 for it had I known it was this good!
I honestly have no better mice to compare to, but for a modest 20, this mouse definitely is nice. It is comfortable and works, and that’s all I really need from a mouse.
The only downside is that the official program that can let you adjust the settings has not got Linux support. Aside from that, it works like a charm.
I really like this mouse. Is big and my hand fits perfectly, just like I wanted. Couldn’t be more satisfied
Works really good as a gaming mouse and really love the glowing color style. But the thing I liked the most with this mouse is that it really fits hand and that it’s for a reasonable price. You don’t have to pay $60+ for a nice gaming mouse. It got more then enough buttons and 4 stages of mouse speed to toggle between, more then I asked for. If you want a really good and cool gaming mouse, BUY THIS ONE!
a good sturdy mouse that does what I want it to do. Originally brought since I’m not a fan of track pads especially when it comes to playing video games,, the extra buttons and speed settings are useful depending on what game you are playing. Handy for pvp in MMo’s 🙂
This is is a really good value gaming mouse. It is easy to adapt the settings to fit your requirements and comfy to use even plugged into a laptop with limited space. The only fault is that clicking is quite noisy.
So far the best gaming mouse I own in terms of what I need from it when playing games. I also own a Diablo 3 Steel Series gaming mouse and a Gamdias Zeus e-sports edition gaming mouse, both of which are far more expensive than the TeckNet X9800.
It fits nice in the hand, all the buttons seems easy to connect with and the button quality is Merc Benz quality, just a pleasure to lick this mouse.
Really stable movment, really great feel and this mouse has some dort of acceleration, i had to adjust the settings, but really good for FPS, Im usually smashing the mouse all over the show, but this mouse accounts for you doing a 360o, it knows when you need to to move fast, great stuff.
I use for BF4 and the adjustments you can make and the macros will improve your game quite a bit, you can change the colour of the hue of the mouse too!
Quality down to the cable which is high end gold plated.
If you are spending 25 on a gaming mouse, really look no further.
