I had the original 2in1 actifry for five years and I loved it. Unfortunately the motor went to I bought this as a replacement. Its fantastic for cooking sausages, chios, stir-fry, lots of things and there’s a whole lot more programmes than the original. My only gripe about the actifry is that the material it is made with is really very flimsy. Considering how expensive it is to buy, it’s disappointing cheap looking and wouldn’t take much to break.

I bought this for my granny, she’d talked for a while about getting one after seeing her sister’s air fryer so I decided to go with this one.

Having the 2 trays is great and the paddle really saves the hassle of stirring or shaking the food while cooking.

So far we’ve tried chips, sausages, bacon, pork chops and baked potatoes in the air fryer and been happy with the results. I think my granny is trying to use it to replace the oven!

One thing to be wary of, ours was set to 220 degrees by default so if you follow the cooking instructions in the recipe book everything will get burnt. I’d recommend either turning it down to maybe 200 or keeping an eye on it so your food doesn’t cook too fast.

It’s nice to have the option of taking the paddle out for foods that don’t need to be stirred as well.

And just a note a few other people in the reviews weren’t aware of, because the hot air essentially blows on the food from one spot at the back of the fryer, if you do use both trays you have to have the food in the bottom pretty much cooked before you start the good on the top tray, the don’t cook at the same time. It’ll stay warm but it won’t really cook more as the hot air isn’t directly on it.

I had my doubts about air fryers but my god these things are amazing, quick & economical
So far done chips, roast pots, vegetables, pork, chicken and all were cooked perfectly.

Only 2 negative points about this model, 1st is the top/lid/glass gets super hot so would have been better if the lid had a larger handle.
2nd is the beep to alert to the end of cooking is so quiet that if you’re not in the kitchen you will never hear it.

    Overall outstanding bit of kit.

I’ve had a Tefal paddle air fryer for many years and always used it for chips. The old one eventually fell apart after 9 years or so and it was time for a new one. I bought a mid range Ninja and was highly disappointed with unevenly cooked chips despite regular shaking. Eventually decided to get back to the Tefal and bought the Genius+. It was a warm welcome back to decent chips. The Ninja hasn’t gone to waste though as we are now using the Ninja as an oven substitute at half the energy price of a full sized oven, when appropriate.
In summary, if it’s chips you want this is the best one to buy. Don’t forget to add a measure of vegetable oil for crispiness and a good colour.

This is the first air fryer I have purchased.
Contents as expected and in perfect condition.
It is basically a hairdryer with a temperature control and a timer and it is quite noisy to the point that volume on music playing in kitchen needs +2 to overcome the noise.
Cooking items is really easy, chips take less time, about 33% less time and there is no pre-heating of oven required so theoretically saving energy and some money which was invested upfront in buying the air fryer.
Frozen chips state 30mins on cooking instructions but they are easily done in 20-21minutes with the rotating paddle fitted for even cooking. There are nine preset cooking times and temperatures as well as manual settings.
Scampi and similar breaded items, onion rings, tend to be broken up by the paddle so I have found it has to be removed for those items which is disappointing, a manual stir at half way point is sufficient for even cooking. The scampi has to be placed opposite side of filter else uneven cooking occurs. The paddle simply clicks in or out of the centre of bowl and cleans easy. An alternative, less aggressive paddle for breaded food stuffs would make a great addition to this model. The bowl with an integrated fold down handle is very non-stick and can be quickly washed and dried. The unit is the larger model and takes up a fair bit of kitchen top, front to back. Hot air is exhausted from the sides around the lip of the lid. The lid can be easily removed/replaced for cleaning. I find the cooking temperature and times are easy to set and unit will automatically go into a keep warm mode post cooking if items not required for a little while.
The end of cooking is sounded by several beeps, which is unnecessary as the noticeable forced hot air noise goes away.
I find the unit is not as stable as I would like it to be and it was slightly unnerving to begin with. It seems to be designed as a three point contact to kitchen top and I can sometimes find I can easily tilt it off slightly to one side when interacting with the unit, although I do note that it never tips fully over.
There also appears to be an optional basket to purchase for ‘delicate’ food stuffs like scampi which rotates within the bowl but from what I have read nothing else can then go into the bowl.
Generally, I like it as it achieves the purpose it was intended for, which is cooking small quantities of chips and scampi and for the ease of cleaning. I would have bought the smaller unit but wife insisted on this larger model for when we have visitors and on that point I would make use of the larger gas oven!
    Update March 2022:
Purchased the snack basket and you can continue to cook other food stuff in the space below, however, the stirring paddle has to be removed for the snack tray to fit.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have had several actifry’s over the years and decided to upgrade to this version due to the dual tray. The machine itself is defiantly the smartest one i have owned and i really like the new design. It’s tall but still fits on my worktop and slides under my kitchen cupboard fine. The food cooks well and is no different to any of the previous actifrys i have owned. Chips taste great in this, and with minimal oil you can indulge that little bit more often. The only thing i dont like about the machine is the controls. To start with it took me forever to work out how to only switch on the top cooking tray.. the instruction book is pretty useless and didn’t really explain it that well. The touch pad isn’t wonderfully responsive either. Whatever you do don’t loose the manual either as you will need it to work out your cooking programme as they are listed as numbers on the touchpad. There are icons like fish and chicken but not every food is described by an icon. The one thing i hate about this new design, and what i would describe as a major flaw is that you have to have the stirring paddle in the bottom section of the fryer if you wish to use the top section of the fryer. Therefore if you cook anything that may go slightly soft such as croquets in the bottom section they will be a mashed potato mush if you wish to use the top cooking plate also. I wish tefal had of included a separate stand for the upper plate without the need for the stirring paddle. Cleaning of the unit is ok… as always anything where you use oil requires additional elbow grease. Keep on top of the cleaning or else it will be a nightmare! A wipe down inside and out is a must after every use. Top Tip – press and hold the button that looks like a sombrero button if you wish to swap between the top and bottom cooking modes!

Great airfryer actifry is the best! The snacking tray is a good addition too we have the original actifry too and it always was annoying that certain things couldn’t go in and turn, there’s no temp control but you really don’t need it things cook evenly because of the rotation of the tray or the paddle, seriously the best chips come outta this thing, every time!

    Tefal ActiFry – 5 Stars

I recently purchased one of these for my mother who’s now retired. But unfortunately Amazon didn’t know about this and delivered it before Christmas, without any wrapping. Just a Box. So it ruined the surprise. The second thing is that it was not delivered on time and that was stressful for my Mum. But anyway after it finally arrived the next day and the emotional pain had been gotten over – my Mum decided to do a test run. And I’ve never heard her so happy. Which is amazing from an Air Fryer so well done Tefal. Makes me proud I spent the extra money on this fryer for my Mum. I even got the combination of frier and book and my Mum commented that she loves it more than she loves Tennis! Couple of minor snags – 1) it’s not THAT easy to clean and I found cleaning the Paddle particularly challenging – especially after melting the cheese wedge. 2) Ease of use – I gave three Stars because if you work for NASA this is obviously a piece of Cake (fried Cake) – but if not – well it takes some getting used to. My Mum was actually crying into the thing on Boxing Day because she couldn’t start it. 3) Temperature Control – whilst it’s true it has a Manual mode I would have liked to have a better range in temperature – maybe in shorter increments. Maybe a software Hotfix could later fix this but I don’t think it connects to the internet – but I might be mistaken – my Internet is always playing up. Anyway – long story short – and absolutely fantastic piece of kit that I would always recommend to anyone who has a Mum – just don’t do what I did and try to Heat up Cornflakes – it ended badly. Buy!

Having previously owned the original 1kg ActiFry that reached its end of life, we bought this as its replacement. This 1.2kg model is taller, but has roughly the same footprint. Likewise, its frying pan is taller due to an additional clip around the edge and has a narrower stirring paddle. This made its capacity deceptive as we ended up cooking way too many chips on its first use. 750g of frozen chips take roughly 31 minutes and 1kg of fresh chips take roughly 35 minutes. Our previous ActiFry took 40 and 50 minutes, respectively for the equivalent brownness.

Although the booklet recommends cooking frozen chips without oil, we found these chips come out much taster with a full spoon of olive oil, as with the previous ActiFry. Then again, even this only works out like a teaspoon of oil per person when split between 3-4 people. For freshly cut chips, we could not tell any difference in crispiness between putting in chips wet of completely dry, so we just use a strainer after rinsing the chips and put them straight in the pan with a full spoon of oil. This saves a lot of time trying to dry them and one less towel to wash. It’s no like a deep fryer where wet chips can boil over. Anyway, the air fryer no doubt dries the chips anyway in the first minute or two of operation, like using a hand dryer.

Like the original ActiFry, this also cooks breaded and pastry products very well, without burning or drying out, an issue we have trying to do such products on a health grill. As it does not require the paddle to use, we can also cook multiple single serving pies and it has a temperature control just like a fan oven. This means we can cook various small items without the running cost of using our main oven and it does not require preheating either. We have yet to try stir frying or other products, but then again we mainly do our stir frying with a cook top wok.

While our original ActiFry cooked sausages very well, we decided against using this new ActiFry for sausages and other greasy food based on how difficult the original 1kg ActiFry was to clean afterwards. Just like a frying pan, sausages and meatballs spatter grease droplets against the top window, which over time caused the window to go dark brown on our original ActiFry. The grease was also difficult to clean off the paddle, pan rim, crevices, etc. which no doubt would be the case with the new ActiFry. So while the ActiFry can cook what a health grill can cook, we still use our George Foreman for greasy food.

Finally, while this is expensive compared to other Air Fryers, the main reason we bought another was due to inexpensive replacement parts, such as when the paddle and handle broke on the original ActiFry. The motor finally failed, but that was after 7 years, where we typically used it twice a week. Our previous deep fryers only lasted a few years, not to mention to cost of replacing 3 litres of cooking oil every month. The second big advantage is not having to shake the chips during cooking – We just load the pan and leave it be until the time is up, after which it automatically switches off and plays a tune.

I loved my Breville Halo+. The spinning action on air fryers is an essential feature and I was going to buy the same one again but it seems to be discontinued (don’t know why because it is a great machine)
I found out that the best replacement would be one of these Tefal ActiFry and I had the Acifry Genius + which had similar dimensions to my late fryer. I tried it and returned one hour after, just when I discovered that the machine cannot work without the paddle due to leaving the engine exposed to food, steam and liquids. That stops to fry pieces of fish, croquettes, or any other soft meal which would be broken by the paddle jostling.
More investigation and in the end, even it is bigger than I wanted, I had the ActiFry Genius XL 2 in 1. This version still has a pan with a paddle that cannot be removed, but the issue is sorted out because it has a second level on top, which is a tray with no paddle but still spins on function.
This tray works well for the mentioned soft meals like fish, croquettes etc.
I have tried it over Saturday for 5 different dishes including fresh home potato fries and chicken nuggets, vegetable croquettes, roasted salmon and mushroom paninis, with very good results. The possibility to program the 2 levels separately or combined is interesting, even I still think that the Breville Halo+ had a clever inclined spinning option which made the same effect with no paddle, and it covered that way all the needs in a compact size over the worktop ….

(genius, 1.2kg) I bought an Original years ago, but it doesn’t look the same as the one they’re currently calling ‘original’. Mine didn’t have any programs, or timers, or auto switch offs and lid was filthy, so decided to buy this new one with xmas prezzy money.
I thought I’d compare physical sizes so tried putting the old bowl, splash guard and stirrer into the new one. They’re the same size! I’m delighted at this as it means I don’t need to throw the older parts away.
I tried a portion of chips first, just one, large, peeled baking potato cut into thinnish fries. Selected the chips program and it offered 31 mins. Pressed the start button. Off it went and 31 mins later stopped the motor plus sounded an alarm.
Embarassed to say, I didn’t realize the lid could be removed for dishwashing on the old one. Which was a major reason in replacing it with the new. But now Im aware how to do it and as the old one is still working I need to find room for 2 of them 🙂

After debating for ages between one of these and a Japanese-sounding alternative I finally took the plunge and ordered the XL 2in1.

It’s only been two days but already I know I made the right decision for me, because chips done in this are lovely. Not the same as deep-fried and nothing – nothing – can compare to chip shop chips but this machine turns out chips that are so much better than any oven chips and even Slimming World recipe chips done in an Acrifry are better too. Not that I live on chips mind you, far from it but it’s good to have a decent and healthier alternative.
The option of using two layers to cook two different foods is already proving to be very useful and I’m looking forward to trying new recipes in here along with my old favourites.

Despite concerns about it being a bit technical or tricky to use it really isn’t, and in fact it is very straightforward to use. It’s quieter than I thought it would be too and it’s easy enough to clean when you’ve done so I’m really impressed – so far at least. Plus you can buy spares easily if you have an accident, from the non-stick bowls to the measuring spoon. Add to those that it isn’t as big as I feared it might be so it fits nicely onto my worktop and I find myself asking why on Earth I didn’t buy one of these sooner.

For years we’ve used an original Actifry. It was extremely loud, but it did a good job. Yes, we had to replace several parts over the years, but it did a good job. Right up to the day it died. It went out like it lived, with a bang and a plume of smoke.

I considered getting an air fryer from another brand, as these seemed quite expensive. However, this is the only brand that comes with a paddle to stir your food while it cooks; I already have a Ninja Foodi, which technically has an air fryer function, but it requires some mid-cooking shaking action, and I can’t be dealing with all that.

So, I got this. It’s not quite the bells and whistles air fryer that some of the other options are, but it does what I need and it seems to do it well. I’ve not had any need to use the snacking basket yet, but that just seemed to be a gimmick and wasn’t why I bought this. I’ll update when I’ve used that to let you all know how it goes.

    Pros:
Simple to use, no faffing about on which preset you need. Just put your food in and set the required time.
The fryer switches off at the end of the countdown. I love this – my old one just kept going.
Easy to clean. Parts are dishwasher safe, but so far have been easy enough to clean with soapy water – I always recommend putting the paddle in the dishwasher though, as it gets quite a lot of food stuck to it during cooking.

    Cons:
Compared to the original model, the lid doesn’t open enough to allow for easy loading of food. I’ve found it easier to remove the lid section completely or take the basket out. This isn’t something that was a problem with the original model.
The snacking basket looks on the advertising material as though it sits on top of the regular basket, allowing you to cook, for example, chips in the base, with some fish fingers on top. This is not how it works; the two baskets are interchangeable, but not a couple.
Cost. This isn’t the cheapest way to cook your food.

This is my third Actifry. No fat/oil needed for lovely crisp chips so healthy way to cook. Takes no time to cook – less time than the oven takes to heat up so saves on energy. Recommended item

I have had one of these for over 14 years and they are great. No dangerous fat, only half a teaspoon at most. Very tasty chips and its quick and easy. I press 2 buttons. I make chips out of carrots as well and cook them with the potato chips so my husband gets some healthy food. Easy to wipe clean except maybe the stirrer and they all will go in the dishwasher except the actual cooker / holder of course. The cooking pan and handle, detachable lip to hold chips in better when serving, stirrer, detachable lid( tho I can wipe that clean as well) all go in the dishwasher if you want . No turning over in the oven to do. I even sit my two plates on top of the fryer carefully, and they get warm ready for tea/dinner. I decided to clear out the old fat fryer from our static caravan as no one used it and put my dry fryer in there and buy a new one for my home. No regrets ever after all these years. I have to confess i never cook anything but chips in it after a failed try at beef bolognese 14 years ago. We have salmon and chips and peas, steak and chips etc etc. Sausage and chips. I even make chips at barbis. And no we are not fat and overweight at all. I would recommend the Tefal fryer to anybody. If you want a free unused but 11 year old deep fat fryer i’m the person to ask.

Golden Review Award: 55 From Our UsersA very versatile kitchen gadgetry. We’ve had a good play with it now and feel confident to express my thoughts.
The longer I’ve owned this the more I realise that it can do.
    Desserts, even doughnuts? No problem.

There’s 9 preset programmes, making it a pretty smart piece of kit for 5/6 people.
It stops cooking automatically and keeps food warm for upto an hour.
Yes, most people will buy this for a quick fry up. Chips, bacon, sausages. All it copes with, surprisingly well. You’re left with a nice crisp outer on the chips with a smooth fluffy interior. All types of fries: sweet potatoes, curly, frozen southern style and fresh potatoes, all work very well with a little adjustment of the times.

The big clear screen on the lid allows you to keep an eye on the food as it cooks, with the option of pausing at any point to taste-test.
It takes about 30 minutes for fresh chip shop style chips and around half of that for frozen French fries, give or take.

Fresh sweet potato chips can look a little bewildered after frying as the paddle works them around the bowl during the cooking cycle, chomping at them, during the very soft phase of the cooking cycle. They’re still cooked perfectly, with a crisp exterior and soft centre.

FYI: all programmable times are changeable – if you like your grub little extra crisp, it’s quick and simple to add extra time on, before or during cooking. The programs you choose are food-group-specific – it will adjust the speed of the paddle and the temperature accordingly.

If you’re using pre-packaged frozen chips like McCain’s, you need not add any oil as they come saturated in oil, just check the ingredients if you’re not sure.
For fresh chips, use the plastic scoop provided, add any oil of your choice. Be it rapeseed, lard, peanut, sunflower even avocado oil.

You can set two meal programs in one go on this ‘Plus’ version. Place all your ingredients in at the same time and have them all complete cooking at the same finishing time.

If you want to make a quick meal with a dessert, this is your one-stop-shop. It does things I didn’t think it would cope with. Even granola for our hearty breakfast.

It’s quick and easy to wash as everything is removable or wipeable. As its non-stick it doesnt take much effort, nor are there any fiddly pieces to contend with.

Controllable by our our young son, who can make himself a meal on the whim, with a bit of supervision, a quick rinse in the sink and then he whips up warm brownie for dessert for all, from a packet. All in this machine and deliciously gooey centered, which he serves with ice cream.

This makes the ActiFry very versatile for him being young and not quite ready to cope with a large twin set of hot ovens.
This has to be more economical than running the ovens too.

The ActiFry is a hefty thing – you will need counter space or a whole shelf in the cupboard. It’s also pretty loud. Probably beats our quieter Neff extractor in the decibels scale.

There’s a clever little app you can download to your smart device with countless recipes and know-how, plus tips too. I’ve learnt things I never thought a machine like this could manage. It’s still a learning curve, we’ve adapted recipes from the App and also found new ways of making things from our own repertoire.
It’s the design that’s made this machine such a breeze to use and clean.

In all honestly, I don’t know how I’ve coped with children, without this mechanical marvel throwing out a quick meal whenever we so will.
All without hard grafting in the prep, strong fry-up odours during cooking, or massive cleanup afterwards.
    5 stars.

I hope you’ve found this review useful.

So far I used it for chips only, that’s what we really use ActiFry 90% percent of the time really.
After first use we was amazed how nice chips taste. if you using programme and making just a small amount of chips 30 minutes will be a bit too long so you might want to adjust it.
It is fairly noisy, but not much noisier than the older models.
If you would load it full and have spices on your food I think there is a chance some of it will end up on your worktop as there is a gap between body of machine and a lid ( it didn’t happen to me yet even though I had it fully loaded of chips with spices.
Keep warm setting is good, but as you can imagine it does leave chips soggy, so it’s best to eat them straight away.
Alarm not really load, but I don’t really need it as you can hear than it stops
I find it much easier to wash than the old one. I do hand wash it and after cooking chips I leave it to soak while we eat and it’s all it needs. Bowl doesn’t need soaking at all it’s just for mixing hand.
It is fairly expensive but so far I am really pleased with it, hopefully it will last as long as my old one.

I bought this and but I was sceptical, as a chips lover I want to try an air fryer as a healthier option, but thought it was expensive product. This is fantastic, the speed at which it makes chips with very little oil is amazing and they come out perfect everytime. This not only has saved me money, time and is also very healthy, would highly recommend this. The only downside is that the machine takes up a lot of space on my worktop.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have had several actifryers. This is not because of any fault with them, just because they are the single most used item in my kitchen. We hardly use my cooker! Easy to use. Cook much quicker than conventional methods. Chips are fantastic. And healthy! Often used several times in a day it’s no wonder this is my fourth one. (Over several years!) no complaints at all we just can’t live without it.
This is my first of this model. And my favourite. I like the large viewing window. It’s adjustable temperature is a great idea but I’ve only used it once. I really like the automatic turn off. And it’s big enough for the whole family.
Get one. You won’t regret it!

Well, I was wrong this is an excellent machine which makes chips with little or no oil which my husband says are the best he’s had for a long time. It is very easy to use and sooo easy to clean. No more deep fat fryers…result!

    Great product
This is the third Actifry we’ve owned.
The 2 previous have both lasted about 2 years.
We use Actifry at least 3 times a week so think that’s not too bad.
We had the next size down last time which was ok but went for this largest version as have a family of 6.
We save a fortune by not buying oven chips.

I’m super happy with my ActiFry ! I’ve tried cooking Moroccan Chicken tagine (the low fat version) and it was delicious. Not only was the chicken cooked evenly but it was also crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, without the need of too much oil. I’ve also just tried sweet potato chips and freshly-made chicken nuggets and again I was blown away. Why didn’t I buy this sooner ?

Had a few Actifry over the years. The last one broke after a few years, but these are handy to have in the kitchen as opposed to using the oven. Has an app with recipes which we haven’t tried yet so can’t comment on that. However for the rest of it it’s easy to use. Cleaning you have to keep on top of it, including the lid or it will gunk with oil residue.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersHaving used the tefal for a couple of weeks now cooking mostly chicken, chips and pakora I have found the tefal is very good and so easy to clean. Just a couple of minor niggles if your doing chicken wings or legs and chips which I do alot it’s best to cook the chicken first and then give the bowl a quick wipe to remove the juice from the chicken then do your chips and add the chicken back in with around 5 minutes left on the chips cooking time to stop your chips becoming soggy. Also the stop alarm is hopeless very quiet if your not in the kitchen so I set an alarm on my Alexa. The outside of the tefal does get hot so need to be well ventalated. Over all it’s a very good fryer and very easy to use and clean.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersI’m still trying to make my mind up but I think I like it better than my old one, Breville. My old one turned around whilst cooking which is very important for me. I don’t want to have to shake it continually, the new one doesn’t tip up or spin round but it has a paddle that rotates moving the food with it and constantly turning over. You can remove this facility if you feel I it’s not needed.

It cooks the food well and doesn’t look as ugly in my kitchen as the Breville. There is a glass window to look at the food without interuppting the cooking. My favourite bit is the timer delay so I can go on school run and then programme it to start cooking at a certain time for a certain time!

It is however extremely noisy and gets messy so easily. Bits of food fly all over the place.

I think everyone looks for things in different areas in a health fryer. But I do think this one is great for size and I’m liking it so far.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersI love this product. This is my fourth air fryer – I had the original family one which lasted a few years before the heating element went. I then bought a cheaper brand which didn’t last too long as the handle kept coming off, replaced it with another cheap brand which I recently accidently broke. We use it most days so I decided to go for the Tefal again. We are a family of 6 so went with the Genius XL. I find the size excellent. The paddle on this model is a different material to the one we used to have which was difficult to clean at times but this one seems much easier. I have used the app to make a couple of things with great results. I’m doing slimming world so I don’t use oil just the one Cal spray and find the results perfectly fine. It’s a big piece of equipment though and does take up room on the counter which is something to be conscious of. I am lucky that I have a shelf that it fits on when it’s not in use though to be honest it tends to be left out due to the frequency of use.

Convenient, easy to clean and good capacity

Bought this to replace a Tefal deep fat fryer that leaked 2l of oil all over the kitchen. Only tried roast potatoes in it but they were great. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Much cleaner, safer and healthier than deep frying. Only downsides are it takes quite a long time including prep compared to other methods of cooking and it’s quite noisy. It’s very different to deep frying so the results don’t compare but it suits a modern diet and lifestyle when deep fryers just seem a bit messy and naff. I’m a conve

Golden Review Award: 161 From Our UsersI have always been a fan of the Actifry range. I bought the first model many years ago, and have used it every week since. This newer model is certainly smarter looking, with a bowl shaped cooking vessel, and it also has a range of cooking pre-sets.
The opening mechanism of the lid is certainly an improvement, as the latch sits at the front and incorporates the unlocking device and a cool area to grab and open and close the lid.
At first sight the lid does seem slightly less sturdy than the previous models, but in use it seems absolutely fine.
The noise level seems the same. It isn’t a quiet thing in use, but no noisier than a microwave or multi-cooker. The heating element is slightly more powerful in this model, and I certainly noticed that my chips were much crisper.
It will cook a huge batch of chips on almost no oil, which has always been a great feature. It will also cook many other things like chicken legs, sausages, and even stews. I make a goulash in mine regularly and it is always good.
The presets on this new machine are handy too. Just click the chef hat button and a set time will pop up. Just push the start button and away it goes. There are 10 preset menu items, and they are easy to use with the small menu book that comes with the Actifry.
Most of the parts go straight into the dishwasher for cleaning, apart from the base unit (which has the motor in it).
There is als a recipe app on Apple and Google, which is designed for the new Actifry, and this is a really good selection of new ideas to try out.
I suspect Tefal have been very pleased with the success of the Actifry, and I certainty can see this model being used every bit as much as my previous one was.
