Although these are single ramps that have to be positioned equidistant apart. Made possible by drilling a 6mm hole through the top one and your doorstep and fit a clevis pin. Surprisingly as they are a sliding fit inside the outer, top larger width, when the inner ramp slides easily in the outer, it has a mechanism that locks in its extended form. The length means it has a shallow descent which is ,essentially less steep and less scary for the wheelchair user. I’ve looked at several ramps from all choices on Amazon.co.uk
and these are the longest ones of all.
Diese ausziehbare Rampe hat die 36 cm von 2 Stufen von der Terasse in die Wohnung gut berbrckt. Das Gewicht von Rollstuhl und Krper von ca 95 kg war kein Problem. Nac Gebrauch kann man beide Teile zusammen gescoben in einer Tragetasche gut lagern.

These ramps are truly excellent. I have a road use mobility scooter which I like to take on holiday. It weighs 72kg according to the spec and does break down into two parts, three if you remove the batteries. This is a pain! I’ve just carefully driven the entire scooter down these ramps. No issues, a pleasure to use and frankly I can’t believe I didn’t think of it sooner. Very happy customer. THANK YOU!
Rampas muy interesantes y de facil uso. Son un poco estrechas pero lo demas todo perfecto
Rampe macht robusten Eindruck, obwohl sie zusammenschiebbar ist. Die Tasche dazu ist super praktisch und auch notwendig, wenn man z.B. die Rampe im Auto transportiert und mit den scharfen Metallkanten keine Kratzer verursachen will.. Die Auflageflchen an den Enden rutschen leicht weg. Man knnte eine Gummimatte darunterlegen. Bei Verladung in ein Auto sollte man unbedingt, darauf achten, dass die Rampe nicht wegrutscht, sonst knnte es Kratzer am Auto geben. Ich habe die Gummimatter ber die Ladekante gelegt. Vorsichtig mute ich trotzdem sein, damit die Rampe nicht wegrutsch. Aber man kann fr den kleinen Preis und die handlichen Mae nicht mehr verlangen.
Man sollte sich auch genau berlegen, ob fr die geplante Anwendung die Rampe lang genug ist, damit der Ladewinkel nicht zu beschwerlich wird. je steiler die Rampe, desto mehr Kraft zum Hochschieben ist notwendig.
